A migrant sentenced for threats with a knife in Bosc-le-Hard

The afternoon of April 27, 2024 was somewhat eventful in Bosc-Le-Hard. A man originally from Gambia and found to be under an obligation to leave French territory issued by the Prefect of Eure, became angry.
He allegedly pulled out a bladed weapon while shouting Allah Akbar following the start of an altercation in a bar.
Completely destitute, he had apparently requested drinks and food from consumers. Then very angry, he left brandishing his knife.
The consumers managed to control him while the gendarmes were informed and took him into custody and then presented him to the Dieppe court.
The next day, he appeared but remained silent in front of his judges. Obviously he did not want to explain his situation, nor the reasons which brought her(sic) to Bosc-le-Hard and his behavior.
The prosecution requested a sentence of 8 months in prison and a permanent ban on staying on French territory.
The judges considered that the threats and theft accused of the defendant were not sufficiently characterized but for carrying a weapon and for failing to leave French territory, he was sentenced to two months in prison. It is therefore behind bars that he will spend his last days on French territory.
So, apparently, that means he will be deported upon release from jail.
Anti-Israel Columbia grads wear zip ties,
rip diplomas on stage during commencement
Defiant Columbia University graduates wore zip-tie handcuffs, brandished pro-Palestinian signs and even went as far as tearing up a diploma on stage during the Ivy League’s first commencement ceremonies last week.
The protesting students were caught on camera storming across the platform on Friday to accept their degrees during ceremonies that were significantly pared after weeks of violent anti-Israel demonstrations on campus.
In one of the most belligerent displays, Tarsis Salome, a Columbia social work graduate, charged forward with her zip-tied hands above her head as those in the audience cheered her on.
Another social work grad, Maliha Fairooz, appeared to have the name of a Hamas leader — Mazen Jamal Al-Natsheh — scrawled across her cap as she accepted her degree with her zip-tied hands.
Meanwhile, a keffiyeh-clad Veda Kamra and Hilary Margaret Elizabeth Ludlow received particularly raucous applause while showing off a “Free Palestine” sign and handcuffed hands.
Others, too, followed suit as they paraded in the front of the audience as apparent prisoners.
The defiant displays came after Columbia last week axed its university-wide commencement in favor of school-based ceremonies due to heightened security fears after a tent encampment erected there descended into chaos.
NYPD cops stormed the campus twice last month to clear out disruptive demonstrators and then oust a pro-terror mob that illegally took over the university’s iconic Hamilton Hall building as the protests drastically escalated.
More than 200 protesters were cuffed and hauled away during both ordeals.
The decision to nix the traditional ceremony — which more than 50,000 typically attend — was made after consulting with graduating students, university officials said
“Holding a large commencement ceremony on our campus presented security concerns that unfortunately proved insurmountable,” school spokesman Ben Chang said last week.
“Like our students, we are deeply disappointed with this outcome.”
As a result, none of the school’s smaller ceremonies will be held on its iconic South Lawn, where such events are usually staged.
The majority of the ceremonies are taking place about 5 miles away at Columbia’s sports complex.

A Queers for Palestine chapter created a human barricade to the entrance of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, prompting a bystander to lose his cool.
On Saturday, the Central Florida branch of Queers for Palestine pulled their cars in a blockade on Interstate 4, claiming that Disney supported genocide.
An angry driver became so irate that he got out of the car to yell at the demonstrators, three of whom were arrested 11 minutes later by Florida cops.
‘You are losing people to your cause because of this… Think a little bit. You are causing people to actually hate you,’ the driver yelled at them.
The protestors responded: ‘Go f*** yourself. 45,000 people dead.’
Of course, the UN yesterday downgraded the numbr of dead to less than 25,000, including
half as many women and children as Hamas reported. That number is almost certainly still
too high. Has anyone seen 45,000 new graves in Gaza, or even 25,000?
In a video circulating on X, formerly Twitter, police reinforcements showed up to the protest.
One of the activist jumps into the car to leave. They keep recording, streaming the event on Instagram Live, as they start to drive off.
The pro-Palestine demonstrators were arrested by Florida Highway patrol within 11 minutes of them starting the protest.
NYC protesters shout ‘babykillers’ at
Jewish elementary school children

Jewish elementary school children in upstate New York were told that their parents were “complicit in genocide” and “baby killers” by protestors who also blocked the road last week, according to a New York Post report.
Bryce Gruber, a mother of children at the Woodstock Elementary School, told The Post, “They were screaming at the kids and anyone who tried to get across or got near them.”
Gruber, a mother of five, shared on Instagram that she struggled to explain to her children why the protestors were shouting such things at them. She also revealed that, as a result of the protests, the children were unable to go outside for recess.
“No one reached out”
While Gruber expressed disbelief that a protest occurred in her small town of 6000 people, she was most concerned that her neighbors came out in support of it.
“They were cheering them on, shouting, ‘We love you,’” Gruber told The Post. “That was the worst part.”
Gruber confronted the protesters, including a man who had been recording her and her 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter. She alleges that he threatened to upload their images onto a “Zionist Jew watchlist.”…
Surely that is illegal behaviour, all of it! Certainly, it is immoral behaviour, not to mention spectacularly
stupid. What did they hope to accomplish by their bullying little kids? Calling their parents 'baby-killers
when it was Hamas who began beheading babies on Oct 7th, is unbelievably dumb. Did they forget
about that, or did they even know about it?
