This is big.

I know that all military of NATO members in practice fall under NATO=Washington’s command and in occupied Germany everything falls under Washington command in any case. But this goes beyond that and is a formal step. It also makes it impossible to include these German troops in a European army, which is being discussed, unless Washington approves (and it won’t).

Pistorius has been very obliging to the Yanks, it was also announced that German taxpayers will pay for the 3 HIMARS systems the Yanks will send to Kiev. For some reason, European “left-wing” politicians nowadays often feel they must prove their loyalty to the empire more vigorously to dispel any chance of being seen as a “commie” or “Russia lover” (as if that is a bad thing). I’m always reminded of Mitterrand who ended France’s standing policy of sovereignty to join NATO.

With Germany taking this step, the question is, who will follow next?

WASHINGTON, May 10 - RIA Novosti. The majority of the German military will come under NATO command from next year, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said.

"The security of our allies is our security. Therefore, starting next year, the majority of our military will come under NATO command. And approximately 35 thousand of them will have the two highest levels of readiness," Pistorius said at an event at Johns Hopkins University.

I can't believe this is alright with the German people. It's surrendering autonomy to an organization that is run by a single state which is not even in Europe and whose main source of wealth is in making weapons and other war materials. What madness!

I always thought Germans were intelligent people, but here they seem to be falling all over themselves to accomodate various groups to dominate them. Astonishing!

NATO's raison d'etre has been to generate hostility with Russia and to act as a storefront for American Arms merchants.
