Canadian political scientist Ivan Katchanovski has been added to the notorious Ukrainian state-linked Mirotvorets ‘kill list,’ for his alleged involvement in Russian information operations, for “manipulation of socially significant information,” and for spreading anti-Ukrainian as well as Russian “propaganda myths.”

The scholar, who is a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa, described his inclusion on the list as “Orwellian” and linked the move to his study of the Ukrainian far-right.

According to Katchanovski, his post with US-based tech mogul Elon Musk “about Nazi SS Galicia veteran,” his tweet about a “neo-Nazi Azov leader, who gave Nazi salute in front of Nazi flag,” and his “academic study of far-right involvement” in Maidan “are posted by Myrotvorets as evidence of a ‘deliberate act against the national security of Ukraine, the peace, the security of humanity and the international legal order, as well as other offenses’.”

In a post on X on Sunday, Katchanovski wrote that he is “on Myrotvorets hit list for ‘launching [a] campaign against’ an SS Galicia Division veteran hailed as a hero in Canada parliament” – an apparent reference to Yaroslav Hunka. The 99-year-old came into the spotlight in 2023 when he appeared in the Canadian parliament as a guest during a visit by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, and received a standing ovation.

During World War II, he served in Nazi Germany’s Galicia Division, which was made up primarily of Ukrainian recruits, and is believed to have carried out atrocities against Jews and Poles.

Katchanovski also complained that his property in Ukraine had been “illegally seized” in retaliation for his research.

The Mirotvorets online resource, created in 2014, describes itself as a “non-government Center for Research of Elements of Crimes against the National Security of Ukraine, Peace, Humanity, and International Law.” The initiative was initially backed by Anton Gerashchenko, a former adviser to the Ukrainian interior minister, and the website appears to have partnered at some point with the country’s security and law enforcement agencies.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has described it as a hit list.

Over the years, the controversial database has published the personal details of foreign journalists and politicians. Among those on the black list are former US representative Tulsi Gabbard, who has been nominated by US President-elect Trump as Director of National Intelligence, as well as prominent American journalist Tucker Carlson.

The former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi were included in the database, until their passing.

Tucker Carlson is in Moscow again to talk to Sergie Lavrov. He mentioned that the State Dept. has not talked to Moscow in two years as the Doomsday Clock counts down seconds to midnight, and American missiles have killed Russian soldiers in Russia, an act of war.

He also mentioned that he has been trying for two years to get an interview with Zelensky but Washington will not allow the Ukraine President to talk to him.

Tucker Carlson on Thursday released his interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which found the two discussing the war in Ukraine, NATO expansion and Russia's relationship with the United States.

The interview—recorded on Tuesday and first released exclusively online via the Tucker Carlson Network—runs for over two hours, during which Putin also shared his thoughts on topics such as AI (international regulations may someday be needed) and on the next president of the U.S.

After a somewhat contentious start, which saw Putin ask his interviewer if they were "having a talk show or a serious conversation," the two men had a broad-ranging talk and even later laughed about Putin's "talk show" remark.

Below are some of the key highlights from the interview.

Putin Said Peace With Ukraine Is Still Possible

When Carlson asked if he thought Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky still "has the freedom to negotiate a settlement to this conflict," Putin answered that he believes so.

He then claimed that after Russian negotiators attempted to reach a peace deal with Ukraine during the early stages of the war that began in February 2022, Western countries persuaded Zelensky to keep fighting.

Putin then said Zelensky had signed a decree that forbids negotiating with Russia.

"But how are we going to negotiate if he forbade himself and everyone to do this?" Putin said. "We know that he is putting forward some ideas about this settlement, but in order to agree on something, we need to have a dialogue."

NATO Weighs on Putin's Mind

Putin addressed his opposition to the expansion of NATO at length during the interview, but he also discussed how he had once asked about Russia joining the alliance.

According to Putin, he once spoke to then-President Bill Clinton about the prospect of Russia becoming a member of the bloc. He claimed Clinton at first answered, "I think so," but later that night the American leader allegedly backtracked after talking to his team, telling Putin that Russia joining NATO wasn't possible at that time. 

Of course, Clinton was straightened out by his controllers, in very short order.

"If he had said yes, the process of rapprochement would have commenced, and eventually it might have happened if we had seen some sincere wish on the side of our partners. But it didn't happen," Putin told Carlson. "Well, no means no."

He Feels U.S. Fears China More Than Russia

Carlson and Putin spoke about how the U.S. and Russia seemed as though they would have good relations after the fall of the Soviet Union, but that hasn't been the case. The conservative media personality brought up how Putin has said the West fears a strong Russia and asked why that is, if the U.S. doesn't fear China.

"The West is afraid of strong China more than it fears a strong Russia, because Russia has 150 million people and China has 1.5 billion population. And its economy is growing by leaps and bounds, or 5 percent a year," Putin answered.

He continued: "China's potential is enormous. It is the biggest economy in the world today in terms of purchasing power parity and the size of the economy. It is already overtaking the United States quite a long time ago, and it is growing at a rapid clip."

The Russian president then moved away from the thought by saying, "Let's not talk about who is afraid of whom. Let's not reason in such terms."

Putin Offered His Thoughts on the Next U.S. President

Putin stayed away from endorsing any candidate in the 2024 election, but he said that he doesn't remember the last time he spoke with President Joe Biden. He also said he had a good relationship with former President Donald Trump when the Republican was in the White House.

His highest praise, though, was given to former President George W. Bush.

"I had a very good relationship with Bush. I know that in the United States, he was portrayed as some kind of a country boy who does not understand much. I assure you that this is not the case," Putin said.

After adding that Bush "made a lot of mistakes with regard to Russia," Putin said that he "had a very good relationship with him."

When asked by Carlson if relations with Russia would improve with a new administration after Biden, Putin said "it is not about the leader," but rather the decisions of the "ruling elites."

Who are the 'Ruling Elites'? They are Deep State! They are the military industrial establishment and other elites who control the politicians who run America. These are bankers, Big Pharma, Media owners, Oil magnates, etc, etc.

This is why they are so desperate to stop Trump, because they have no control over him like they do almost everyone else in the government.

I am getting more and more concerned about Trump. If he is allowed by SCOTUS to run in the next presidential election, his very life will be in danger. It's not as though it hasn't happened before.

From last February when he was still on Fox. Tucker reveals many truths about the war in Ukraine and American politics. The only thing I would add is that NATO (read America) began its pogrom to provoke Russia into war at least as early as 2014. 

There was never any intention to win the war, it is just an opportunity to use the west's military arsenal and make western military manufacturers filthy rich. And, to do it on foreign soil is just a bonus. It also scares Europeans into wasting fantastic amounts of money on weapons systems that they will never need.

Biden is rooting for Russia to invade Ukraine, Tulsi Gabbard says

The former US congresswoman suggests US and NATO want Moscow to attack so they can impose “draconian” sanctions and enrich the military-industrial complex

President Joe Biden and his NATO allies could easily prevent war in Ukraine but would rather see Russia invade their ally to justify harsh sanctions against Moscow and spur a money-making cold war, former US congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard said on Friday in a Fox News interview with Tucker Carlson.  

Gabbard, an Iraq war veteran who ran unsuccessfully for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, made her comments as Biden’s administration and US media outlets continued to hype a possibly “imminent” Russian attack on Ukraine. “It cements this cold war in place,” she said in the interview.

The US and its allies could prevent an armed conflict by pledging that Ukraine won’t be allowed to join NATO, Gabbard said. It’s “highly, highly unlikely” that Kiev will ever be approved as a NATO member, so refusing to promise what’s already a reality shows that leaders of the alliance don’t want peace, the Hawaii Democrat added.

The military-industrial complex is the one that benefits from this. They clearly control the Biden administration. Warmongers on both sides of Washington have been drumming up these tensions.

Russia last December sent security proposals to Washington – among them, blocking Ukraine from NATO membership – but US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the alliance will maintain its open door policy.

“Why are we in this position then, if the answer to this and preventing this war from happening is very clear as day?” Gabbard asked. “And really, it just points to one conclusion that I can see, which is, they actually want Russia to invade Ukraine.”

Exactly!

An invasion of Ukraine would give Biden a “clear excuse to go and levy draconian sanctions, which are a modern-day siege against Russia and the Russian people,” Gabbard said. The result would be “locking in a new cold war.”

“The military-industrial complex starts to make a ton more money than they have been in fighting Al-Qaeda or making weapons for Al-Qaeda,” Gabbard said. “And who pays the price? The American people pay the price, the Ukrainian people pay the price, the Russian people pay the price. It undermines our own national security, but the military-industrial complex that controls so many of our politicians wins, and they run to the bank.”

The US has denied purposely arming radical Islamists, but researchers have reported cases of sophisticated American weaponry falling into the hands of fighters linked to Al-Qaeda and Islamic State.

Gabbard has been a prominent voice against America’s wars and regime change interventions. US media outlets have been largely dismissive of her arguments; the Daily Beast called her latest comments “Tulsi’s twisted theory.”

The ex-lawmaker earlier this week said “warmongers” have argued that the US must protect Ukraine as a democracy – all while supporting such anti-democratic actions in Kiev as shutting down critical TV stations and imprisoning an opposition party leader. On Friday, she pointed out that US leaders haven’t even made a case as to why the American people should want Ukraine to join NATO.

“I have a hard time seeing how President Biden or anyone can say with an honest face, ‘We are defending democracy,’” Gabbard told Carlson. “And the reason is because our own government has publicly supported these authoritarian actions by the Ukrainian president in shutting down their own political opposition … This sounds familiar to some of the things that unfortunately, we're seeing play out right here at home.”

Russia has denied that it intends to attack Ukraine, while the White House said on Friday that an invasion could begin “at any time.” Western countries have been accusing Russia of amassing troops and military hardware dangerously close to Ukraine’s borders since last fall. Moscow has denied making threats to Kiev and blamed the West for the escalation in tensions.

It's encouraging to hear two of the more intelligent people in America agree with my take on Deep State's takeover of America.

For the past year or two, I have called the 2017 gas attack in Douma, Syria, a false flag operation. It turns out that it wasn't even that. Chemical analyses performed by several different labs for OPCW revealed there was no chlorine gas attack in Douma at all. It was entirely faked.

If that's shocking to you, you need to understand that the OPCW knew of the lab test results long before issuing their report, but they hid the results and lied on their report. It was only by chance that the whistle-blower, who has been verified as a member of the OPCW, found out about the lab results.

Meanwhile, almost all national media outlets were crying for NATO, or the USA, to invade Syria and depose the monster, Assad. Tucker Carlson, of Fox News, not one of my favourite people, suggested that the USA wait for more evidence to come in before taking drastic action. He was in an extremely small minority with that view.

His opinion was left out of the report which was completely out of normal procedure for the OPCW.

The real question is, why is the media playing along? Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted National Security Advisor John Bolton for his apparent love of violent global conflict, saying that for him war with Iran would be like “Christmas, Thanksgiving and his birthday” in one.

“Mercifully John Bolton doesn’t command the military,” Carlson said bitingly – however, the question of how strong his influence on President Donald Trump’s foreign policy remains.

Bolton has been consistent in his drive to push the US into a violent conflict with the Islamic Republic, even penning a rather blunt op-ed in the New York Times entitled ‘To Stop Iran’s Bomb, Bomb Iran’ in 2015. Although President Trump was elected in part based on his turn-away from the traditional neo-con interventionist (read: Deep State) outlook, his national security advisor pick has been as hawkish (read: Deep Stateish) as ever since assuming office last year.

“How is a war with Iran in America’s interests in any way?” Carlson asked, a pertinent question given a NYT report recently claimed Bolton ordered a plan to send 120,000 troops to the Middle East in order to “check” Iran’s influence. While Trump has since refuted the report, calling it “fake news,” he added that if it came to such a plan, “we’d send a hell of a lot more troops than that.” He did say that, “hopefully,” this will not be needed.

How is any war in America's interests? Because America's economy is largely dependent on the research, manufacturing, and sale of weapons of war. After WWI, global merchants realized they got filthy rich during the war and decided that war was very good for their financial interests. 

That thousands of young people die or are severely injured, or that millions of women and children are raped and murdered in wars, seems to not have occurred to them, or were dismissed from their apparent lack of conscience. War is good for the American economy! Especially wars you cannot win - it really keeps the inventory moving. This is Deep State!

Tucker on Tuesday was joined by retired army colonel Douglas Macgregor, who called the situation a “manufactured crisis,” noting that Iran actually serves as an ally in the main regional conflict against Islamic State.

Despite both sides having managed to avoid any direct confrontation for years, Macgregor asserts that Iran almost certainly wants to avoid conflict with the US “under any and all circumstances.”

As US leaders and mainstream media push for the nation to go to war in Syria, Fox News host Tucker Carlson has slammed so-called "geniuses" who claim to know the truth behind the alleged chemical attack.

Speaking on his television show on Monday, Carlson spoke of the alleged attack in the Damascus suburb of Douma. However, he noted that while "genius" politicians, media, intelligence services, and think tanks seem to blame Syrian President Bashar Assad for the attack, they don't actually know what happened on the ground.

"All the geniuses tell us that Assad killed those children, but do they really know that? Of course they don't really know that. They're making it up. They have no real idea what happened," Carlson said.

"Actually both sides in the Syrian civil war possess chemical weapons," he said, noting that it wouldn't have benefited Assad to use chlorine gas, since his forces have been winning the war in Syria.

Still no proof Assad was complicit in Khan Sheikoun

He also discussed last year's sarin gas attack which the majority of US leaders also blamed on Assad. "But of course they were lying," he said, noting that US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis admitted two months ago that there is still no proof that Assad used sarin last year. Carlson called the story "propaganda."

Twitter exploded with support for Carlson following the broadcast, with many praising him for being the only American mainstream media personality to publicly challenge US foreign policy on television.

"Tucker Carlson is without question the greatest American in the mainstream media," tweeted the executive director of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, Daniel McAdams. He added that Carlson may have saved "thousands of lives, maybe more" through his comments.

I'm not sure you can call US foreign policy - policy. It seems more like knee-jerk reaction than policy.

Former US diplomat Jim Jatras called Carlson the "bravest man on television."

Tucker Carlson blasted those who feel the latest gas attack targeting Syrian civilians is a call to declare war on Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.

I wrote exactly the same thing yesterday - the US has no moral imperative to respond without significant proof of Assad complicity. 

Writer and consultant Beth Clay said that Carlson is "the only person so far to ask the tough questions and make real observations." Twitter user Jake Nelson expressed a similar sentiment, calling Carlson the "only person on TV with enough balls to call it like it is."

While the majority of tweets were positive and full of praise for Carlson, there were a few critics who didn't approve of his words on Syria and Assad.

Human rights advocate Rachel Andrews tweeted that Carlson's words resulted in "chills" going down her spine. "How are these people allowed to be on air?" she asked, while accusing Carlson of "defending" Assad.

Twitter user @USAF Vet accused Carlson of "spinning conspiracy theories on the Syrian gas attack," calling Fox News "trash TV."

Unfortunately, it is the Administration that is spinning the conspiracy theory. Blaming the least likely person for something that hasn't even been proven to have happened. 

That a chemical attack seems to occur every time Trump starts talking about removing US troops from Syria would make Assad the stupidest man on earth. Assad is many things, some of them quite horrible, but he is not stupid. 

This was most likely a false flag operation conducted by one or more of those who would benefit from the US remaining in Syria - rebel groups, Saudi Arabia, NATO, US military, arms merchants, etc., etc.

Both Syria and Russia have called for an on-the-ground investigation, with Moscow proposing to create an independent mechanism into the alleged attack in Douma. Russia is ready to serve as a guarantor of security for experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The Russian military has stated that it found no trace of chemical weapons at the alleged attack site, accusing the rebel-linked White Helmets of distributing "fake news."

And the White Helmets have certainly distributed fake news before. 

Also, I noticed in the videos from Douma that there were men running about through the dust and rubble without so much as pulling their T-shirts over their mouths and noses. Amazing!
