CSD Terrorist Abdul Ballout Allegedly an ISIS Supporter

Berlin – Following the terror attack during the Christopher Street Day (CSD) event in Berlin, police are searching for a suspect using a photograph and are conducting checks at all German borders. Abdul Ballout, 21, allegedly struck several people with a car in the Tiergarten area around 10:00 PM on Saturday. One woman died in the attack. According to information obtained by BILD, the 21-year-old is a German citizen of Lebanese descent. He was born in Berlin in 2005.
According to BILD, Ballout is known to the police for offenses including grievous bodily harm and aggravated extortion. He is also believed to be a supporter of the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS). The 21-year-old was released from juvenile detention only last May.
Under no circumstances should you approach the wanted person if you encounter him; avoid direct contact. Abdul Ballout may be armed and dangerous! Contact the police emergency number (110) immediately.
“The man is known to the police and is associated with the Islamist scene in Berlin,” police spokesperson Florian Nath had previously stated. The suspect was reportedly released from juvenile detention only in May 2026. It remains unclear whether he was driving the vehicle. The car—which was empty and, according to a police spokesperson, heavily damaged—was seized at the scene of the incident…

Germany: Vehicular jihad attacker was in ‘deradicalization’ program, but gave only ‘calculated answers’; He's now dead!
Here is yet more evidence that “deradicalization” programs do not work and cannot work. “Deradicalization” programs are an abysmal failure everywhere they have been implemented.
The whole premise of “deradicalization” is that Islam is a religion of peace that jihadis misunderstand, twist, and hijack. Since that is a false premise, and warfare against unbelievers is actually taught in the Qur’an and Sunnah, “deradicalization” focuses on other issues, such as “anger issues” that the jihadi may have, his feelings of “alienation,” and the like.
But since none of that changes what the Qur’an and Sunnah say about warfare against unbelievers, it doesn’t “deradicalize” the jihadi at all. A British psychologist behind a “deradicalization” scheme has also admitted that there’s no guarantee that jihadis can ever be “cured.” And Jonathan Hall KC, who was at the time the UK’s independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, said there was “no magic bullet or special pill” that could help to change convicted “extremists.”

He Chose Terror Over Deradicalization

The suspected attacker—who allegedly killed at least one woman and seriously injured several people on the sidelines of the CSD (Pride) parade—had for some time been on the radar of state security, police, the courts, and the justice system. He had come to attention due to his radicalized Islamism in connection with the preparation of terrorist offenses. According to the police, the suspect was known to them and is associated with the Islamist scene in Berlin. Several media outlets reported that he harbored sympathies for the terrorist militia “Islamic State.”
According to Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU), there is a conviction involving a suspended prison sentence, though it is not yet final. The accused, Abdul Ballout—whose full name Dobrindt disclosed—had been sentenced to one year and ten months of imprisonment, suspended on probation. The public prosecutor’s office had lodged an appeal against this. The suspect had previously come to attention “due to a high volume of criminal offenses,” Dobrindt said.
As recently as May, Ballout had been in state custody. He was reportedly in the preliminary stages of a deradicalization program and had already attended two sessions with experts in extremism prevention—during which no plans for an attack were mentioned, according to reports.
NDR, WDR, and the *Süddeutsche Zeitung* reported that the suspect had first come to the authorities’ attention at the age of 16. In May, he was reportedly sentenced to a juvenile term of one year and ten months for preparing a terrorist offense. He was released on probation subject to the condition that he participate in a deradicalization program.
Several media outlets reported that Ballout had taken part in two discussions with the organization Violence Prevention Network. However, staff members reportedly had doubts about whether to accept him as a client for counseling. *Focus* magazine quoted the organization’s managing director as saying that Ballout gave “calculated answers” during the conversations. A decision on further cooperation was not due to be made until after another meeting scheduled for this Monday.
According to media reports, the alleged perpetrator was under surveillance at times, and his phone was reportedly monitored as well. He had also reportedly attempted to join the “Islamic State” in Syria. How he managed to make preparations for the attack undetected despite these circumstances is one of the questions now being raised.
On Sunday evening, Ballout was shot dead during a police operation in Berlin-Spandau.
He has now discovered that there aren't any virgins waiting for him in Hell?
