Hamas-linked CAIR, Muslim Minneapolis City Council VP enraged that sheriff warned about Somali gangs
How dare the infidel Bob Fletcher criticize what the Somali Muslim gangs are doing in Minneapolis? Clearly he is an “Islamophobe” who is targeting an entire community instead of focusing on the tiny handful of bad apples who are actually responsible.
This strategy — claim aggrieved victimhood, collective blame, etc. — has worked wonderfully for Muslims in the U.S. for the last quarter-century. Why should they change strategies now?
CAIR-MN Calls Sheriff’s Somali Gang Warning ‘Dangerous’ as Law Enforcement Tracks 12 Somali Gangs in Twin Cities Metro

A Ramsey County sheriff’s warning about Somali gangs in the Twin Cities drew criticism from CAIR-MN and Minneapolis City Council Vice President Jamal Osman, even as one law enforcement officer said he is tracking 12 Somali gangs in the metro area and another called for “law enforcement, community members, and faith leaders” to work together on a solution.
Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher is facing pushback after using his social media show, Live on Patrol, to address what KSTP-TV described as a serious Somali gang problem in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.KSTP-TV reported that Fletcher’s video received tens of thousands of views and prompted backlash from Somali community leaders. Reporter Ben Henry said the station had questions for Fletcher and was told the sheriff was available for an interview, but when the crew arrived at the sheriff’s office that morning, they were told he was not available.
In the video, Fletcher said, “Before you start fixing the problem, first you have to identify what it is. We got a huge list of criminal activity, but having said that, we’re not indicting the whole community.”
KSTP described Fletcher’s remarks as addressing Somali gang violence and reported that law enforcement officials were investigation(sic) weekend shootings in Minneapolis involving gang members. One shooting killed a man, while another wounded multiple people and reportedly involved automatic gunfire.
Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office Somali gang investigator Jama Shine said, “This needs to stop.”
Another officer said, “Right now, I’m tracking 12 different Somali gangs in the metro.”
A third officer showed KSTP video connected to the shootings and said, “You can hear the shots.”
Shine also stated, “We need to come together from law enforcement, community members, faith leaders, and find a solution for this youth,”
Suleiman Adan, deputy executive director of CAIR-MN, said “prevention and intervention and family engagement and sustained investment in youth must be central to any sort of long-term solution.”
“Anyone responsible for violent crimes should be held accountable,” Adan said.
But Adan took issue with Fletcher’s framing, saying, “To say that there’s a Somali gang problem” that requires the community to “raise the stakes and squash this” before it becomes a larger issue is “particularly dangerous.”
Shouldn't the community raise the stakes and squash the Somali gangs instead of squashing the truth about them?
Minneapolis City Council Vice President Jamal Osman, who represents the 6th Ward, released a July 7 statement condemning Fletcher’s comments about Somali youth and gangs….
How can you begin to deal with a problem if you are not willing to admit the truth about it?

And then one has to count in the ones who were telling the pollster what they thought he wanted to hear, or what they thought was the safe answer to give. Those who are still, at this late date, counting on “moderate Muslims” to rise up and rein in their violent brethren drastically underestimate the prevalence of what they think of as “extremism” among Muslims in the U.S. and elsewhere.
Pew: 44% of Muslim Americans surveyed view Hamas favorably, overall support for Israel falls

A Pew Research Center survey released on Thursday found that 44% of Muslim American respondents expressed a favorable opinion of Hamas, compared with 17% of Black Protestants and 2% of Jewish respondents.
The survey of 12,574 U.S. adults, conducted May 4-17, also found Americans now view Israelis and Palestinians nearly equally favorably overall, marking a significant shift from 2022, when Israelis were viewed much more positively.
Younger Americans were considerably more favorable toward Palestinians than Israelis. Among respondents under 30, 58% viewed Palestinians favorably, compared with 32% who said the same of Israelis. Among Democrats under 30, the gap widened to 72% versus 26%.
Favorable views of both the Israeli people and the Israeli government declined among Republicans and Democrats alike, though the drop was steeper among Democrats. Among Jewish respondents, 83% viewed the Israeli people favorably, down from 89% in 2024, while favorable views of the Israeli government fell from 54% to 47%. Jewish adults under 50 were less likely than older Jews to hold favorable views of either.
The survey also found that Muslim and religiously unaffiliated Americans were more likely than other religious groups to view Palestinians favorably and less likely to express favorable views of Israelis.
These are basically your godless demographic. Muslims, in my humble opinion, are godless because they believe in a false god.
