Woman suspected in Monaco bombing found shot dead near Kyiv, prosecutors say

The body of the Ukrainian woman suspected of planting a parcel bomb in Monaco last week was found near Kyiv, the local newspaper Ukrainska Pravda reported Tuesday. Ukraine's prosecutor general's ‌office later confirmed the body was found and said they also detained an employee of ​Ukraine's ​military intelligence ​service who said he ​killed the woman together with another ⁠suspect.

A woman suspected of carrying out a bomb attack in Monaco last week that seriously injured a Ukrainian-born businessman has been found dead in Ukraine, and a military intelligence officer has been arrested ​in connection with her ‌murder, authorities said on Tuesday.

The body of Anastasiia Berezovska, a Ukrainian citizen ⁠who was wanted by Interpol for the June 29 bombing, was found with gunshot wounds to the head and pistol cartridges nearby, Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office said in ‌a statement on Telegram.

Two men have been detained on suspicion of killing Berezovska, including the employee ⁠of Ukraine's military intelligence service (HUR) and a former police officer, the statement said.

The two men had communicated with Berezovska after she returned to Ukraine on July 1 and had made repeated transfers to her crypto ​and bank accounts, the statement said.

The HUR employee had confessed to killing 39-year-old Berezovska ‌with the other defendant, the prosecutor general's office said.

"He also said that he had not informed his superiors about his contacts with Berezovska, the money transfers, or any of his other actions, and had acted on his own initiative," the statement said.

The ‌two men were arrested on suspicion of committing murder and are also believed to be involved in the Monaco bombing, the statement said.

During a search of ​the home of the former law enforcement officer, a basement room resembling a torture chamber was discovered, it added.

Businessman sanctioned by Ukraine 

Ukrainian-born property developer Vadym Yermolaiev, his partner and son were wounded in last Monday's bomb attack, sources said.

Yermolaiev, ​who took Cypriot nationality seven years ago, was placed under sanctions by Ukraine in 2023, following Russia's invasion ​the previous year.

Ukrainian media reported the sanctions were a response to Yermolaiev's alleged ​business activities in Russian-occupied Crimea. Yermolaiev has denied doing business in Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in 2014.

Berezovska was wanted by authorities in Monaco on charges of attempted ​murder, placing an explosive device in a public place with criminal intent, and criminal conspiracy.

Monaco's deputy prosecutor said last week that the attacker had left the principality on foot to nearby France then fled by car to Germany via several European countries, including Italy.

Ukrainian media outlet Ukrainska Pravda had reported earlier on Tuesday that Berezovska's body was found ⁠near Ukraine's capital Kyiv close to 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT) on Monday.

Law enforcement agencies are working to identify those who ordered the attack ⁠in Monaco and ​any other individuals involved in the case, the statement said.

All information held by the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies has been shared with Monaco authorities, it added.

The Netherlands has run out of options for continued direct military assistance to Ukraine, Defense Minister Dilan Yesilgoz-Zegerius has said. The EU and NATO member has been an active supporter of Kiev in its conflict with Moscow, including by supplying US-made F-16 fighter jets as part of a scheme with Belgium, Denmark, and Norway.

Ukraine has been heavily dependent on weapons supplies from its Western backers throughout most of the conflict, which is now in its fifth year.

“We don’t have opportunities any more as the Netherlands because we have done so much,” Yesilgoz-Zegerius told Bloomberg on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara, Türkiye on Tuesday.

“We are at our limit,” she said when asked whether the Netherlands could provide more US-made Patriot missiles to Kiev.

NATO country to stop supplying arms to Ukraine

The Netherlands has spent €9.1 billion ($10.4 billion) on military assistance to Ukraine and pledged €11.6 billion more, according to Bloomberg estimates. Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has repeatedly demanded that Western nations send Kiev more weapons while claiming that they are not doing enough.

In January, the Ukrainian leader blamed the West for air defense missile shortages, and complained that Kiev’s backers were too slow to provide funding for the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) scheme, under which European NATO members were paying for US-made weapons for Ukraine.

In December 2025, Zelensky also demanded more money from the West by stating that there was “a constant shortage” of funding for Ukrainian arms production.

Italy blocking NATO pledge to Ukraine – media

The Netherlands is not the first to declare it has reached its limit in providing direct assistance to Kiev. Czech President Petr Pavel stated as early as in 2023 that his nation could no longer supply Ukraine with weapons and ammunition from its stockpiles. A year later, Poland also said it “hit the wall” with direct Ukraine military aid.

Other European NATO members are also apparently growing weary of funneling money and weapons into Kiev’s military effort. Last week, Germany’s FAZ newspaper reported that Italy blocked a NATO financial pledge to Ukraine for 2027 after the bloc signed off on a €70 billion ($80 billion) package this year. Last month, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto told parliament that Rome would not back the PURL scheme.

Russia has condemned the Western weapons shipments to Ukraine, arguing that they only prolong the conflict without changing the outcome, and warning that the military assistance shows that NATO is a direct party to the conflict, risking a direct confrontation between Russia and the bloc.

Nicolas Sarkozy, former French president, sentenced to 5 years in prison

A Paris court on Thursday sentenced former French President Nicolas Sarkozy to five years in prison after finding him guilty of criminal conspiracy in an alleged scheme to finance his 2007 campaign with funds from Libya.

In a surprise decision, the court ruled that he will be incarcerated even if he appeals. But it also said the sentencing date would take place at a later time, sparing the 70-year-old the humiliation of being led from the courtroom in handcuffs.

The court found Sarkozy guilty of criminal association in a plot from 2005 to 2007 to finance his campaign with funds from Libya in exchange for diplomatic favors. But it cleared him of three other charges — including passive corruption, illegal campaign financing and concealment of the embezzlement of public funds.

Sarkozy denounced the ruling, saying he was the victim of scandalous injustice and that he would appeal.

“This injustice is a scandal,” he said.

“I ask the French people — whether they voted for me or not, whether they support me or not — to grasp what has just happened. Hatred truly knows no bounds,” he said.

He said that if he does end up behind bars, he’ll do so “with my head held high.”

The court also found two of Sarkozy’s closest associates when he was president — former ministers Claude Guéant and Brice Hortefeux — guilty of criminal association but likewise acquitted them of some other charges.

Overall, the ruling suggested that the court believed that the men conspired to seek Libyan funding for Sarkozy’s 2007 campaign but that judges weren’t convinced that the conservative leader himself was directly involved in the funding effort or that any Libyan money ended up being used in his winning campaign.

The chief judge, in an hours-long reading of the lengthy verdict, said Sarkozy allowed his close associates to reach out to Libyan authorities “to obtain or try to obtain financial support in Libya for the purpose of securing campaign financing.” He stood as she read out the verdict.

But the court also said it couldn’t determine with certainty that Libyan money ended up financing Sarkozy’s campaign. Still, under French law, a corrupt scheme can still be a crime even if money wasn’t paid or cannot be proven, the court explained.

Sarkozy, accompanied by his wife, the singer and model Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, was present in the courtroom, which was also filled with reporters and members of the public. Sarkozy sat in the front row of the defendant’s seats. His three adult sons were also in the room.

Sarkozy, who was elected in 2007 but lost his bid for reelection in 2012, denied all wrongdoing during a three-month trial earlier this year that also involved 11 co-defendants, including three former ministers.

Despite multiple legal scandals that have clouded his presidential legacy, Sarkozy remains an influential figure in right-wing politics in France and in entertainment circles, by virtue of his marriage to Bruni-Sarkozy.

Alleged Libya financing

The accusations trace their roots to 2011, when a Libyan news agency and Gadhafi himself said the Libyan state had secretly funneled millions of euros into Sarkozy’s 2007 campaign.

In 2012, the French investigative outlet Mediapart published what it said was a Libyan intelligence memo referencing a 50 million-euro funding agreement. Sarkozy denounced the document as a forgery and sued for defamation. The court ruled Thursday that it “now appears most likely that this document is a forgery.”

Investigators also looked into a series of trips to Libya made by people close to Sarkozy when he served as interior minister from 2005 and 2007, including his chief of staff.

In 2016, Franco-Lebanese businessman Ziad Takieddine told Mediapart that he had delivered suitcases filled with cash from Tripoli to the French Interior Ministry under Sarkozy. He later retracted his statement.

That reversal is now the focus of a separate investigation into possible witness tampering. Both Sarkozy and his wife were handed preliminary charges for involvement in alleged efforts to pressure Takieddine. That case has not gone to trial yet.

Takieddine, who was one of the co-defendants, died on Tuesday in Beirut. He was 75. He had fled to Lebanon in 2020 and did not attend the trial.

Prosecutors alleged that Sarkozy had knowingly benefited from what they described as a “corruption pact” with Gadhafi’s government.

Libya’s longtime dictator was toppled and killed in an uprising in 2011, ending his four-decade rule of the North African country.

Sarkozy denounced a ‘plot’

The trial shed light on France’s back-channel talks with Libya in the 2000s, when Gadhafi was seeking to restore diplomatic ties with the West. Before that, Libya was considered a pariah state.

Sarkozy has dismissed the allegations as politically motivated and reliant on forged evidence. During the trial, he denounced a “plot” he said was staged by “liars and crooks” including the “Gadhafi clan.”

He suggested that the allegations of illegal campaign financing were retaliation for his call — as France’s president — for Gadhafi’s removal.

Sarkozy was one of the first Western leaders to push for military intervention in Libya in 2011, when Arab Spring pro-democracy protests swept the Arab world.

“What credibility can be given to such statements marked by the seal of vengeance?” Sarkozy asked in comments during the trial.

Stripped of the Legion of Honor

In June, Sarkozy was stripped of his Legion of Honor medal — France’s highest award — after his conviction in a separate case.

Earlier, he was found guilty of corruption and influence peddling for trying to bribe a magistrate in 2014 in exchange for information about a legal case in which he was implicated.

Sarkozy was sentenced to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet for one year. He was granted a conditional release in May due to his age, which allowed him to remove the electronic tag after he wore it for just over three months.

In another case, Sarkozy was convicted last year of illegal campaign financing in his failed 2012 reelection bid. He was accused of having spent almost twice the maximum legal amount and was sentenced to a year in prison, of which six months were suspended.

Sarkozy has denied the allegations. He has appealed that verdict to the highest Court of Cassation, and that appeal is pending.

On September 15, 2024, the American people witnessed another attempt on the life of Donald Trump, a former President and a current presidential candidate. A candidate who the deep state, the administrative state, and the globalists profoundly fear. Simply stated, the blob views President Trump as a threat to both the current AND the new world order.

As I have been watching the news, the alternate news, reading the would-be assassin’s rantings on his now-deleted Facebook and X accounts, it is hard not to think back to that period in American history in the 1960s when it appears that the government decided that it needed to remove certain political actors from the chessboard.

In our recent book, PsyWar: Enforcing the New World Order, we wrote the following about this dark time in American history:

The day of that coup was November 22, 1963. That was the day that John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. That was the day the U.S. government turned against its own people and began a PsyWar campaign against all of us. We just didn’t know it yet.  Nothing has been the same since.

It has taken over fifty years to realize the extent of this PsyWar campaign fully, but now there is no denying it. A new book titled: “The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy: The Final Analysis: Forensic Analysis of the JFK Autopsy X-Rays Proves Two Headshots from the Right Front and One from the Rear” documents that President Kennedy was almost surely assassinated by the U.S. government, who also led the cover-up and the ensuing propaganda/PsyWar campaign regarding the events of his death. The author and scientist, Dr. David W. Mantik, uses modern imaging to prove that the wound in the president’s throat and the massive blow-out in the back of his head involved frontal bullet wounds. As Lee Harvey Oswald supposedly shot the President from behind the motorcade, this analysis provides data which refute the government’s analysis that he was the lone assassin does not hold up to scrutiny. This book presents clear and compelling testimonial and documentary evidence that the surgeons performed pre-autopsy surgery on the President’s head to remove evidence of the forehead bullet, as well as to gain access to his brain. Hence, they were able to “sanitize the crime scene” by removing bullet fragments as well as bullet tracks in the brain tissue. The forensic evidence is clear that the CIA, the FBI, and/or the U.S. Secret Service have been involved in and covered up the assassination of a sitting U.S. president [1].

As good as the forensic evidence is, there are now a vast number of books on the circumstances leading up to and after the assassination that reveal that Lee Harvey Oswald did not kill President Kennedy. In fact, there are books, studies, publications, and video reanalyzing the Warren Commission Report hearings and Exhibits, as well as the House Select Committee Report, records from the Assassination Records Review Board, the National Archives and Records Administration records, and testimony from many eyewitnesses (including the many witnesses, who were not allowed to speak to the Warren Commission).  Taken together, this evidence works to prove that the Warren Commission Report was a sham with a predetermined conclusion and was never meant as a real investigation to determine who assassinated President Kennedy. One book that stands out as thorough and compelling on this subject is “The JFK Assassination Evidence Handbook” [2].

Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty authored another important book on this topic. Prouty was a former CIA operative who worked for the agency during this period. His historic account shatters what we have all come to believe about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. This book was the basis for Oliver Stone’s movie JFK. Prouty outlines how Kennedy’s death was a coup d’état, and he presents strong evidence to that effect as well as details of the elite power base that was and is the hidden hand of the U.S. government [3]- what is often referred to as the “Deep state”.

Our government not only lied about this to the American people, but they created a massive cover-up story, which included framing an innocent man for the murder. For over sixty years, our government has not only covered up this murder, but they also made up an alternate reality of facts that have been presented as truth to the entire world.

In 1865, we almost lost our democracy due to the assassination of President Lincoln. Is November 22, 1963, the day when we truly lost our democracy to the deep state? Can we believe anything that we have since been told by our government? Why hasn’t any U.S. President come forward to tell the American people about what really happened that day?

The assassination of President Kennedy was a pivotal moment in the history of the modern PsyWar campaign against the American people by a rogue shadow government that has persisted up until this day. The rogue government that instigated this psyops upon the American people is still in control. The U.S. intelligence community is the operational organization at the very heart of this PsyWar campaign, as well as the assassination.  Full public disclosure of what has taken place and the dismantling of that apparatus is well past its due date.

The censorship-industrial complex has restricted our constitutionally protected right to freedom of speech by interfering with and manipulating what we are allowed to see and hear. With the advent of the internet, the tools available to this industry have only become more sophisticated.”
