A town which once prided itself as being the “most hippie” in Washington has taken drastic action to outlaw drugs, after state-wide decriminalization led to spiking crime and child overdose deaths.

The proudly liberal city of 92,000 has been pushed to its limit, with the fire department responding to 223 overdoses — 2.5 calls per day — between January and April 12, according to Cascadia Daily.

Among the dead are two teenagers and a five year old, who had overdosed on fentanyl in March and was found dead by police with foam coming from her mouth.

Overdoses have become so commonplace, one victim was dead for hours before anyone even noticed, according to Bellingham council member Edwin Williams.

He told The Post: “A man was sitting on the curb in a parking lot with his head bowed, right out in the open … and a police officer told me that he had been dead for at least 12 hours,” Williams said. “It shocked me to my core.”

Pictures taken by The Post showed people slumped out in their cars, makeshift encampments of rusty RVs and one destitute person slumped by a shopping cart with their possessions, in what was once a picturesque coastal town an hour south of the Canadian border.

“I have lived here for 30 years, and no, I haven’t seen anything like this,” Williams said. “I would characterize our city as one that is trying and willing to bend over backwards to help and provide people with programs to address either addiction or homelessness.

“But at this point— the combination of COVID, the pervasiveness of fentanyl and the state law being changed— pushed everything to the limit. It was just the perfect storm and at some point, something had to be done.”

City officials approved an ordinance on April 10, making it a crime to “inject, ingest or inhale” hard drugs in public— a departure from the state’s law passed two years ago that did the opposite and decriminalized drug possession.

The city council’s decision to get tougher on drugs was in part sparked by the death of the five-year-old girl — which led to the arrest of her parents and another person, who have all since been charged with murder — and two teen deaths.

Emily Halasz, 15, was found dead on March 8 at a homeless encampment behind the Bellingham Home Depot, while 17-year old Aaren Coleman, who died at his grandfather’s home in King County.

Whatcom County, which includes Bellingham, had 11 overdose deaths in 2018 but that number has exploded since the pandemic with 50 in 2021 and 89 in 2022, according to the Whatcom County Medical Examiner’s Office.

However, the tough stance on open drug use has caused some controversy among residents who support a “diversion rather than jail” approach.

Under the new rules those who are caught using hard drugs like fentanyl or meth in public would be arrested — but only possibly face misdemeanor charges. Bellingham Mayor Seth Fleetwood said the ordinance will also include a “community court” component where those arrested could be placed on a type of diversion program, details of which have yet to be solidified.

For Bellingham parents Steve and Laurie Satushek, the city ordinance is not enough. They say their son, Mick, 29, was failed by the authorities and the state before he recently lost his battle with drug addiction.

Laurie said Mick had struggled with schizophrenia for more than a decade and was possibly abusing methamphetamine and fentanyl when he was found dead in the town’s Arne Hanna Aquatic Center on April 5.

Can I take a wild guess and suggest that the schizophrenia was a result of marijuana use in his early teens?

The Satusheks said despite stints in mental health treatment facilities and rehab in California and Washington, their son was often turned away or released back into the streets without them knowing. 

“It’s been 10 years of living hell, understanding what happens with people that are mentally ill,” Laurie said in tears. “The fact that my son overdosed on fentanyl or any drug was just bound to happen because he did not have a chance in our system.”

Steve Satushek said Washington’s inability to implement laws that could address the growing mental health and drug crisis has left people like his son without a safety net.

“I would consider myself a progressive person, but there just are a lot of laws and things that I don’t think work properly,” he said.

This is part of the problem. People think it is good to be a 'progressive' person. Sin is progressive! And this is what it leads to.

Progressive

noun: one believing in moderate political change and especially social improvement by governmental action

If this is social improvement, it is 100% backward. We can confidently add to the above definition by admitting that progressives are constantly trying to move away from religion, Christianity, in particular. Look at the left-leaning politicians you know and see if you can find one who actually believes in God?

“I walk around downtown and it’s just awful. I went with my son to some of these homeless camps, and they’re just horrid, filthy places. I feel real strongly that we need to go back to what the New York Mayor [Eric Adams] and [California] Governor Gavin Newsom have said, which is to involuntarily commit people who need that help.”

Bellingham officials began to see the uptick in crimes and public drug use after the 2021 state Supreme Court struck down Washington’s law that made simple drug possession a felony.

The current state law expires on July 1, which classifies drug possession as a misdemeanor on the third arrest. A proposed bill that would’ve provided harsher punishments— including a 90-day jail sentence — failed to garner enough votes in the state Senate last month. 

“We cannot accept decriminalization in the middle of a fentanyl crisis,” said Governor Jay Inslee after the bill failed to pass.

Frustrated Washingtonians claim politicians’ inability to come up with solutions will cost even more lives.

“We are fairly affluent but there was still nothing we could do to save our son because the system worked against him,” Laurie Satushek said.

“We did ‘tough love’ and sent him to treatment centers. We did everything that we could to advocate for him. It was not enough and something has to change.”

My heart breaks for them as they struggled with this issue for 10 years only to have it end in the most nightmarish way. But the problem needs to be dealt with before the "Micks" get schizophrenia and hooked on hard drugs. Marijuana use in the early to mid-teens results in schizophrenia in one out of six kids - full-blown, life-long schizophrenia.

Schizophrenics are not the only mad people in the world, those who advocate for recreational drugs are the real madness that needs to be irradicated.

Even though enrollment in Catholic contract schools is primarily motivated by a strategy of social advancement, Muslim families who enroll their children there sometimes also do so out of rejection of the public school and its secular supervision. They believe that the “Catholics” are more tolerant. 

“When I was little, teachers told me that God didn't exist, that it was bullshit. This atheist version of secularism, I can't stand it. For my children, between the good Catholic school, which respects beliefs, and the secular public school at a poor level, the choice was simple,” explains a mother of a Muslim student from Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis).

In Roubaix, they make up the majority of its student body. In the northern districts of Marseille, the private Catholic school Saint-Joseph-Viala has almost 100% Muslim pupils. In the Catholic schools in Seine-Saint-Denis, it is over 50%.

“Since the late 1960s, the admission of ‘non-Christian pupils’ in Catholic schools has led the Church to consider this issue,” notes Sébastien Vida, a doctoral student in education, in a study published in October 2022 in the journal Hommes & Migrations. After some hesitation, Catholic education issued a guide for its leaders in 2011: “Muslims in Catholic schools.” If the institution allows the provision of a prayer room, it must obey clear rules “with times for accessibility and days.” However, “in the face of radical influences, it is better to respond negatively to any request in order to avoid a source of conflict.” Can students attend certain catechism classes? “Remember that the decision of these families is often related to talking to their children about their religion and being respected as Muslims.”…

If one believes the Catholic teaching, which is apparently not quite confident, one should not “mix Islam with the cultural, identitarian and religious reaction of young people.” It is recommended to involve a mosque or association leader, which would be unthinkable in the public sphere. How to deal with students who refuse to go to the swimming pool during Ramadan? While the guide reminds us of the obligation to attend regularly, it suggests again to call in a “Muslim authority” in case of persistent behavior. Catholic institutions have to deal with these difficult issues on a daily basis.

Do they actually teach any classes on Christianity?  If so, they would certainly not be mandatory. A lot of good can come out of this as God can use it to open the eyes of some Muslim kids. On the other hand, radicalized youth could cause a lot of terror in these schools.

Radicalized, and insanity, are synonymous in Islam.

‘You will have tribulation’ – This is one of many scriptures that have convinced me that the pre-trib rapture is an error in the teaching in many evangelical churches. God doesn’t save us from adversity, but in adversity. 

God gives us a glimpse of The Great Tribulation in the story of the Hebrews escape from Egypt. They remained in Goshen while all ten plagues affected the whole country. They were surely affected by the plagues but not nearly as much as the Egyptians. God didn’t remove the Hebrews until after all the plagues were sent and just before the final judgment on Pharoah – the destruction of his army in the Red Sea. 

This, I believe, is how The Great Tribulation will play out except that the number of Christians who will die in this period will make the Holocaust seem like child’s play. But fear not, God will be with us even then.

Pope: Christianity, Islam share common commitment to good life

Addressing participants at the VI Colloquium between the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue and the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies, Pope Francis encouraged each member, noting that with this being their sixth encounter, their perseverance is clear.

Commonalities between religions

The theme of the colloquium, “Creative Commonalities between Christianity and Islam”, the Pope said, reflects how “each of us is like the link in a long chain: many people have preceded us on the beautiful and challenging road of encounter and friendship, others will follow us, as we hope and pray, confirming that feeling of brotherhood that is the foundation of relations between peoples”….

Bringing his message to a close, the Pope noted that the dialogue practiced and promoted requires a style of sincerity and mutual respect if it is to be fruitful, and requires “an awareness of both convergences and divergences”. He spoke of compassion for all, before adding that “we also believe that not everything ends with death, but that there is another life, eternal, where we will give account to God for our actions and receive reward or punishment”.

Finally, the Pope noted that “our common commitment is to a good life” and this, he concluded, “gives glory to God and joy to all those we meet on our earthly pilgrimage”.

It is distressing that the Pope seems completely unaware of the enmity between Islam and Christianity. 

He seems oblivious to the desire in Islam to enslave or destroy all religions other than Islam. 

He seems not at all bothered by their dismissal of Jesus as the Son of God, or the elevation of Allah to be Jehovah God, the Father. 

He has missed the point of Jesus having completed The Law and replaced it with Grace, only to have Mohammed come along 600 years later and put his people back under The Law. 

Is he unaware that Mohammed is raised to the primary Messenger of Allah, and Jesus is pushed to a lower position?

On this day, as King Charles III is crowned, one must look for a Defender of the Faith - unfortunately, it seems we cannot find one in the Vatican, or Westminster.

All right, but the definition of “a good life” differs sharply in both religions. The pope would stoutly deny this and call anyone who pointed it out “Islamophobic,” but nonetheless, it is the case.

Qur’an 98:4-6: “Nor were the people of the book divided until after the clear proof came to them. And they are not ordered to do anything else but serve Allah, keeping religion pure for him, as hanifs, and to establish prayer and to give alms. That is true religion. Indeed, the unbelievers among the people of the book and the idolaters will remain in the fire of Gehenna. They are the most vile of created beings.”

Qur’an 5:14: “And with those who say: Indeed, we are Christians, we made a covenant, but they forgot a part of what they were reminded about. Therefore we have stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the day of resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork.”

Qur’an 5:17: “They indeed have disbelieved who say, Indeed, Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say, Who then can do anything against Allah, if he had willed to destroy the Messiah son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth? The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and his word that he conveyed to Mary, and a spirit from him. So believe in Allah and his messengers, and do not say Three, Stop, it is better for you. Allah is only one God. It is far removed from his transcendent majesty that he should have a son. Everything that is in the heavens and everything that is on the earth is his. And Allah is sufficient as defender.”

Qur’an 5:116: “And when Allah said, O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to mankind, Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah? He said, Be glorified. Qur’an 19:35: “It is not fitting for Allah that he should take to himself a son. Glory be to him, when he decrees a thing, he says to it only, Be, and it is.”

Qur’an 9:30-31: “And the Jews say, Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say, The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the statements of those who disbelieved before. May Allah curse them. How perverse they are. For Muslim Migrants In France, Crime Pays

In the last few decades, millions of North African Muslims – maghrébins – have crossed the Mediterranean and settled in France. Muslims now constitute almost 10% of the population in that country. Some French people have described this as an “invasion” or “colonialism in reverse.” It has not been a happy experience for the French. Retired military men and intelligence officers of the Direction General of Internal Security have warned darkly of a possible civil war in the future, between the Muslim population and those whose country they have settled in. Journalists such as Eric Zemmour, and writers such as Michel Houllebecq, have talked on television and written about “the Great Replacement,” where the native French, in the future, are demographically overwhelmed by the Muslim migrants whose fertility rates are far higher than those of the French.

While the fertility rate among Muslim migrants is slowly dropping, it is still well above replacement numbers while indigenous French are well below replacement numbers. The Muslim population is growing, the French population is decreasing.

Many of these North African immigrants claim to be “asylum seekers,” but they have not been fleeing either persecution or war. They are, rather, economic migrants, who know that there is a cornucopia of benefits on offer by the generous French welfare state. These include free or greatly subsidized housing, free medical care, free education, family allowances that increase with each child, unemployment payments, and more. Muslim migrants have not been in any hurry to find employment. In France, after five years, only one-third of those Muslim migrants are employed. They can live comfortably on the largesse of the state. But should they feel the need for extra income, various kinds of property crimes – shoplifting, street robberies, smash-and-grab attacks on stores, car thefts, house burglaries – are available to them. And the French system of criminal justice is notably lenient when it comes to crimes of property, as demonstrated by the recent case of one such North African Muslim migrant who has been living for decades in France as a career criminal. Can’t ride for free – abuses the bus driver in Sweden

A bus driver was assaulted on a bus in Stockholm on Tuesday. The reason? One passenger was not allowed to ride for free.

“It is unfortunately quite common for drivers to be subjected to threats and violence,” says bus company Transdev’s press spokesman Stefan Johansson to Samnytt.

It is when bus 178 goes through Kista towards Jakobsberg at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon that a violent passenger steps on the bus. The bus driver is beaten with several blows to the head.

The incident is captured on a film that Samnytt has seen. It shows that the driver manages to defend himself against the violent man, and hold him down.

“Things happen everywhere”

Claes Keisu is press spokesman for Greater Stockholm’s local transport. He tells Samnytt that he has not heard of the incident.

“This is how it is: We have 500 bus routes and they run 30,000 bus trips per day, and things happen everywhere,” he explains.

So it is common for your bus drivers to be abused?

“No! No no no, it’s not. But I just want to say that I still have no knowledge of the incident.”

Keisu refers further questions about the assault to the bus company that runs route 178.

Struck in the face

It is Transdev that runs bus 178. The bus company’s press contact Stefan Johansson knows more about the incident:

“At around 3 p.m., one of our drivers was assaulted and punched in the face by a perpetrator,” he tells Samnytt.

“We took the driver out of traffic, of course, as we always do in incidents like this. According to the circumstances, he is doing well, so he has not had to go to hospital. The police came to the scene, but the perpetrator had managed to leave.”

A police report has been drawn up.

“Unfortunately quite common”

Stefan Johansson does not know why the passenger assaulted the bus driver. However, he has a different opinion than SL has about how common violence is in Stockholm traffic.

“It is unfortunately quite common for drivers to be subjected to threats and violence,” he says.

According to Samnytt, the driver confronted the passenger when he refused to pay for the bus journey.

“It’s not something I can confirm, but it doesn’t sound impossible,” comments Stefan Johansson.

Non-Muslims paying for the upkeep of Muslims is a Qur’anic dictate:

The caliph Umar said the jizya payments from the dhimmis were the source of the Muslims’ livelihood:

“Narrated Juwairiya bin Qudama at-Tamimi: We said to `Umar bin Al-Khattab, ‘O Chief of the believers! Advise us.’ He said, ‘I advise you to fulfill Allah’s Convention (made with the Dhimmis) as it is the convention of your Prophet and the source of the livelihood of your dependents (i.e. the taxes from the Dhimmis.)’” (Bukhari 4.53.388)

UK jihad preacher Anjem Choudary said in February 2013:

“We are on Jihad Seekers Allowance, We take the Jizya (protection money paid to Muslims by non-Muslims) which is ours anyway. The normal situation is to take money from the Kafir (non-Muslim), isn’t it? So this is normal situation. They give us the money. You work, give us the money. Allah Akbar, we take the money. Hopefully there is no one from the DSS (Department of Social Security) listening. Ah, but you see people will say you are not working. But the normal situation is for you to take money from the Kuffar (non-Muslim) So we take Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.”

33-year-old man sentenced to six years in prison after nighttime assault

Man to be deported for 12 years

A 33-year-old man was sentenced to six years in prison on Tuesday at the Court in Aarhus for attempted manslaughter by hitting and stabbing a 53-year-old man in the head and neck with a broken bottle outside a bodega in Aarhus Midtby.

The 33-year-old, who is a Somali citizen, was also expelled by Denmark with an entry ban for 12 years.

Seriously, do you think he's going to be a fine upstanding citizen after deportation?

The violent assault took place in the early hours of December 4 last year after some disagreements had arisen between the two.

The 33-year-old waited outside the bodega after their controversy, and here he stabbed the 53-year-old repeatedly with the broken bottle. The assault only stopped when some witnesses pulled the 33-year-old away. Subsequently, the 53-year-old was treated for serious injuries to the neck and scalp.

The police were called, and shortly after the incident, the 33-year-old was arrested and remanded in custody in the case.

On Tuesday, he was sentenced at the Court in Aarhus, which agreed with the prosecution that he should be sentenced for attempted murder – and not just serious violence.

“When you purposefully attack another person and stab him in the throat several times, you must know that there is an imminent risk that it could end in death, and the victim also suffered potentially life-threatening injuries. The case was strong because of witness statements and, not least, video surveillance from the nightlife, which documented how the assault took place,” says special prosecutor Dorthe Lysgaard.

The 33-year-old admitted the assault, but denied that it was an attempted murder. He appealed the sentence.

BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — The first shooting left Serbia weeping. The second set off waves of soul-searching in a deeply divided nation, awash in weaponry, where war criminals are glorified and memories run deep of years of civil war.

Two mass killings in two days. Nineteen people dead and 21 injured.

“We walked around like zombies for 24 hours, not believing what has happened and looking for reasons,” President Aleksandar Vucic, a populist authoritarian who began his political career as a far-right Serbian nationalist during the Yugoslav civil wars, said Friday in a nationwide TV address.

The back-to-back bloodshed sent shockwaves through a Balkan nation scarred by wars, but unused to mass murders. Though Serbia is full of weapons left over from the conflicts of the 1990s, the last mass shooting before this week was in 2013, when a war veteran killed 13 people in a central Serbian village.

In Thursday’s attack, a gunman apparently firing at random killed eight people and wounded 14 in two Serbian villages, authorities said, shaking a nation still in the throes of grief over another mass shooting a day earlier. Police arrested a suspect Friday after an all-night search.

Vucic called the shootings an attack on the whole nation — and said the person arrested wore a T-shirt bearing a pro-Nazi slogan although he did not shed light on a motive.

The slayings came a day after a 13-year-old boy used his father’s guns to kill eight fellow students and a guard at a school in Belgrade, the capital.

Public figures, politicians and experts appeared successively on TV Friday, desperately trying to explain the tragedies.

“This is a moment when a nation decides whether it will go along a healing path,” actor Srdjan Timarov said on N1 television. “The only other way is to declare capitulation.”

As a nationwide period of mourning began, TV screens were filled with people wearing black and music was banned from the airwaves as well as in cafes and restaurants. People lined up in Belgrade to donate blood, responding to an appeal for supplies needed to treat the wounded.

The assailant in Thursday’s attack shot people in two villages near Mladenovac, a municipality located about 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of the capital, police said. Vucic said the gunman targeted people “wherever they were.”

In the village of Dubona, blood stained a schoolyard where some of the shots were fired and also the ground near a bench where residents often sit to share a beer and chat.

“I heard some tak-tak-tak sounds,” recalled Milan Prokic, a Dubona resident. Prokic said he first thought people were shooting to celebrate a birth, as is tradition in Serbia.

“But it wasn’t that. Shame, great shame,” Prokic added.

Police said a suspect, identified by the initials U.B., was arrested in Vinjiste, a village 150 kilometers (90 miles) south of Belgrade. Officers searching a relative’s home found a large stash of illegal weapons and ammunition, state broadcaster RTS reported.

Authorities released a photo showing a young man in a police car in a blue T-shirt with the slogan “Generation 88” on it. The double eights are often used as shorthand for “Heil Hitler” since H is the eighth letter of the alphabet.

Vucic said the suspect repeated the word “disparagement” but it wasn’t clear what he meant.

The president vowed in an address to the nation that the suspect “will never again see the light of the day.” He referred to the attack as an act of terror and announced tougher gun-control measures, in addition to those proposed by the government a day earlier.

He called for a moratorium on new licenses for all weapons in the next two years, a review of all current licenses, longer prison sentences for those who break the rules and “fierce” punishment for anyone caught with illegal weapons. But first, police will offer an amnesty to encourage people to hand over illegal guns — an action that has had limited success in the past.

“We will disarm Serbia,” Vucic promised, saying the government would outline the new rules later Friday.

Health Minister Danica Grujicic said the wounded included a teenage girl who was hit in the head and another teen who had to have a kidney removed.

“We haven’t seen this since the 1990s (war era),” the minister said. “They are stable for now, but you can never tell for sure with gunshot wounds.”

While the Serbian government sought to crack down on guns and police raced to investigate the fresh violence, the nation started to ask what social factors may have contributed to the mass shootings. Serbia has one of the highest number of firearms per capita in the world, and guns are frequently fired into the air to mark special occasions.

Experts have repeatedly warned of the danger posed by those weapons coupled with decades of instability stemming from the conflicts of the 1990s, as well as ongoing economic hardship. Belgrade University psychology professor Dragan Popadic pointed to the violence coursing through society, including harassment of political opponents by ruling populists and aggressive sports hooligans.

“People suddenly have been shaken into reality and the ocean of violence that we live in, how it has grown over time and how much our society has been neglected for decades,” Popadic said after the first shooting. “It is as if flashlights have been lit over our lives and we can no longer just mind our own business.”

Opposition parties called for a march against violence on Monday, urged the government to control media content and demanded the resignations of three ministers.

“Serbia is not a powder keg. Serbia has exploded,” said Marinika Tepic, the vice president of an opposition party.

Before the second shooting, Serbia spent much of Thursday reeling. Students, many wearing black and carrying flowers, filled streets around the school in central Belgrade as they paid silent homage to slain peers. Serbian teachers’ unions announced protests and strikes to warn about a crisis in the school system and demand changes.

The school attack also left seven people hospitalized, six children and a teacher. One girl who was shot in the head remains in life-threatening condition, and a boy is in serious condition with spinal injuries, Grujicic said Friday.

Authorities have said the suspected shooter, Kosta Kecmanovic, is too young to be charged and tried. He has been placed in a mental hospital, and his father has been detained on suspicion of endangering public security.

On Jan. 25 a young Moroccan national identified as Yassine Kanjaa carried out jihadist attacks in Algeciras, Spain, killing a sacristan and seriously wounding a priest in two different incidents.

The General Commissariat of Information, an intelligence service under Spain’s National Police, compiled two reports on the attacks dated Jan. 29 and Jan. 30. Europa Press recently gained access to them and on April 26 published details reconstructing events.

The reports state that according to Father Antonio Rodríguez Lucena, who was wounded, the attacker was not provoked: “Nobody did anything that could bother him.”

In his testimony, the priest said that Kanjaa told a parishioner that “the Christian faith is negative and must be eliminated.”

According to the reports to which Europa Press has had access, the attack began at 6:30 p.m. local time when Kanjaa entered San Isidro Church in Algeciras and began to argue with the parishioners.

After the terrorist stated his desire to eliminate the Christian faith, he “vehemently” said that “the only religion to follow is the Islamic religion,” according to the testimony of the priest who survived the attack.

The woman who opened the church daily testified that the attacker took a Bible that was there and started hitting the seating with it. She confronted the man, managed to snatch the Bible away from him, and asked him to leave.

At 7 p.m. the individual returned to the area outside the church. The faithful who were attending Mass could hear him shouting in Arabic. After Mass, Rodríguez wanted to find out what was happening.

At that moment, “the suspect, carrying a large machete in his hand, suddenly attacked the priest causing serious injuries,” the report states.

In his statement to police, the priest said that “a man dressed in black entered, who was heading towards the altar without saying anything.”

The priest waited for him at the altar with the idea of having an open way to escape. When the man got to the altar he brandished his weapon, which the priest hadn’t realized he was carrying.

When the priest tried to flee, he stumbled and felt the weapon strike him. The parishioners attended to the wound and shut the church door so the attacker couldn’t get back inside.

The weapon, according to another witness, was “a large blue machete.” Others described it as a “knife” or “a kind of katana,” a curved Japanese sword.

After this attack, Kanjaa went to the Virgin of La Palma church located about 650 feet away. According to a witness, along the way he ran into a Moroccan passerby, whom without saying a word he punched in the face, breaking his glasses. He then struck him twice more and accused him of practicing the wrong religion.

When he got to the Virgin of La Palma church, the attacker saw the sacristan, Diego Valencia, leaving through a back door of the church.

According to the police, Kanjaa struck him with several initial blows with his weapon. The sacristan tried to flee but the attacker caught up with him in Plaza Alta, threw him to the ground, gripped the katana with both hands and “raising his gaze to the sky and shouting a few words in Arabic, among which was heard ‘Allah,’ dealt him one last fatal blow.”

Terror-linked Study Association receives millions in taxpayer money

The Muslim Study Association Ibn Rushd, which has been shown to have links to violent Islamism and Muslim terrorism, has been granted 1.1 million in contributions from the City of Gothenburg – from the pockets of taxpayers. The decision was made after the Social Democrats, the Left Party, the Environment Party and the Center Party have given their approval.

The Studief Association Ibn Rushd has been a hot political issue in recent years, and its applications for grants have been rejected three years in succession, thanks to the Swedish Democrats. The party has on at least seven different occasions worked to stop collaborations and contributions to the terror-linked organization, but has not succeeded this time.

Among other things, the union has been accused of connections to the terrorist-labeled Islamist Muslim Brotherhood. The organization has also been criticized for sanctioning honor oppression and radical interpretations of Islam.

“We feel safer with the message that there will no longer be any business with the Bellevue Mosque during this year,” says Jenny Broman (V), chairman of the Social Committee Center.

M, KD, L and SD wanted to reject the study association’s grant application but lost the battle. Nina Miskovsky (M), Deputy Chairman of the Social Committee Center, criticizes the officials and believes that they have made a misjudgment regarding Ibn Rushd’s democracy requirements.

According to her, the reasoning is based on prioritizing good relationships with Ibn Rushd and their collaboration partners rather than following the guidelines that exist for equality, rights for sexual minorities and not to support anti -democratic forces.

The Swedish Democrats are also critical of the decision and emphasize that Ibn Rushd is an undemocratic organization with links to the Muslim Brotherhood. This is something that, among other things, a report from the Swedish Agency for Social Protection and Emergency Preparedness, where it is pointed out that the management of Ibn Rushd is “fully governed by MB” with reference to a doctoral dissertation by Sameh Egyptson.

According to SD, Ibn Rushd cannot be considered to meet the requirements and conditions that are placed on study associations and it is argued that there is also a repression and discrimination linked to gender and sexual orientation within the organization.

Swedes have such faith that Muslims want to blend into Swedish society. Such fools have learned nothing in the past 8 years. As long as this idea rules, Sweden is barrelling head-first into cultural suicide and, eventually, civil war.
