Canada has an Islamophobia Czarina, but no Antisemitism Czar, even though antisemitism is a much greater problem than Islamophobia, partly because of the Islamic hatred of Jews.

Now Canada’s Liberal-appointed Governor General Mary Simon, along with (of course) Canada’s “Islamophobia Czar,” Amira Elghawaby, and the Canadian Muslim Forum want to see the government enforce action against “Islamophobia.” The effort is yet another major effort to impose an obvious agenda on the country. Last week, Canada was forced to drop an outrageous federal “Islamophobia” guide that deemed it “racist” to criticize anti-Israel activists. Elghawaby created the 60-page guide, and the Department of Heritage published it. Canada’s largest Jewish lobby, the Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs, has previously expressed legitimate concern about the Heritage Department.
The vile-talking Laith Marouf went on to launch his pro-Hamas, Free Palestine TV show after October 7.
The “Islamophobia” guide, which was dropped after a backlash, also defined both “sharia” and “jihad” as “benign terms that are misrepresented by Westerners.” Meanwhile, another federal guide is out, advising workplaces to learn about Islam from Muslims, and permit special religious privileges.
Recently, two Toronto Police Muslim liaison officers “praised Oct. 7 for a surge in Islam converts.” There have been no consequences so far. And right before Mark Carney was sworn in as (unelected) prime minister without even being a Member of Parliament, he condemned Israel cutting electricity to Gaza, without mentioning Israel’s reason for such an action, and he encouraged a global gang-up of allies against Israel.
While Muslim lobbies and Canada’s “Islamophobia Czar” et al aggressively continue to push their “Islamophobia” agenda on Canada, antisemitism remains Canada’s biggest, and largely unaddressed, problem.

Federal officials marked International Day to Combat Islamophobia Saturday by calling on Canadians to push back against bigotry directed at the country’s Muslim communities. But one organization that defends the civil rights of Canada’s Muslim says not enough is being done to counter the rising tide of hate.
Amira Elghawaby, Canada’s Special Representative on Combatting Islamophobia, issued a statement Saturday, saying Muslims in Canada face systemic barriers and are subjected to violence and discrimination. Islamophobia, she added, comes in the form of racism, stereotypes and hostility.
“In addition to individual acts of intolerance and racial profiling, Islamophobia can unfairly lead to viewing and treating Muslims as a greater security threat on an institutional and societal level,” she said.
That is not Islamophobia, it is merely reality! Why doesn't Emira fight for the freedom to reveal the fact that she has hair in public. Hairless women are an aberration, IMHO.
Elghawaby touted actions the federal government has taken to tackle islamophobia, saying Ottawa has stepped up support for the Canada Community Security Program and Canada’s Anti-Racism Strategy.
Gov.-Gen. Mary Simon issued a statement of her own Saturday, asking Canadians to resist engaging in bigotry. “From harassment to hateful words online, the recent rise in hostility against Muslims is not only unacceptable and devastating for the victims and their families, but it also undermines our strength as a country,” Simon said.
This is a reference to that stupid Liberal proverb that Trudeau invented - Diversity is our strength!
Unity is our strength. Unity requires immigrants to become Canadians, to stop the relentless antisemitism, and to stop demanding to be treated as special people, as they are in Britain with two-tiered law enforcement.
But the Canadian Muslim Forum says there needs to be more action than words…

Canada announces gift of $84 million to Syria’s jihadist President al-Jolani
The Canadian Liberals are enabling the jihadi regime of Syria, handing it $85 million. Abu Mohammad al-Jolani (aka Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa) and his forces — Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and the Syrian National Army — overthrew Bashar al-Assad, and then al-Jolani became president, whereupon al-Jolani was congratulated by Hassan Akhund, the Taliban’s chief minister. Al-Jolani and Akhund are of the same ilk. The latter then “expressed hope for stronger ‘brotherly relations’ between Afghanistan and Syria,” asserting that “enhanced ties would serve the interests of both nations.” Also, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who aided al-Jolani’s rise to power, stated of the Taliban as they rose to power in Afghanistan, that “Turkey has nothing that contradicts their beliefs.”
Al-Jolani has now established Sharia and executed a jihad slaughter of Alawites, Christians and other minorities. Yet Canada is pouring money into the Syrian regime. Like the Democrats, the Liberals still don’t grasp how jihad terror regimes work. They use international “humanitarian” funding toward strengthening their own interests. Biden’s total pledge of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan was $782,000,000. By last July, the US was investigating $293 million in missing aid which was believed to have been diverted to the Taliban.

This is a potential step toward greater stability and improved conditions for Syrians. However, meaningful implementation will be key to ensuring lasting progress…..“We remain committed to ensuring that vital humanitarian aid reaches those in need. Minister Hussen announced $84 million in new funding for humanitarian assistance to respond to the crisis in Syria…..This brings Canada’s total humanitarian assistance to the Syria crisis this year to more than $100 million.
Funding the Syrian terror regime is contributing to its mass murder of religious minorities.

And how will that money be used, and by whom? How will we know that it is not being used to commit the ongoing genocide of Alawite people, or Druze, or Christians. This endorsement of the new regime is much too premature.
Suspect charged with hate crimes spree that included attacks at 5 Toronto synagogues
A 32-year-old Toronto man has been charged over an alleged eight-month antisemitic hate crime spree that included incidents at five synagogues and a Jewish community centre.
Amir Arvahi Azar faces 29 criminal counts, among them advocating the genocide of Jews, inciting hatred and starting fires and damaging windows at Jewish community institutions.
The North York resident caused fire damage to signs at four synagogues and damaged the window at a fifth, court documents obtained by Global News allege.
He also threatened the Forest Hill Jewish Centre in a voicemail message, and caused extensive damage to a Jewish-owned Toronto coffee shop, according to the list of charges.
The incidents allegedly occurred between April 26, 2024 and Jan. 3, 2025. Azar was arrested on Jan. 11 and has been released on bail. He appeared in court on Monday.
“We know that these charges are very serious and that people are concerned,” Deputy Chief Rob Johnson of the Toronto Police Service said in a video statement.
Police declined to give further details about Azar due to a publication ban.
The arrest came amid a steep spike in antisemitic incidents across Canada in the wake of the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel and the military response in Gaza.
The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs said it was encouraged by the arrest, which it said showed authorities were “taking action to hold individuals accountable for alleged hate-motivated crimes.”
“In a time of rising antisemitism and hate, it is essential that authorities demonstrate zero tolerance for those who cross the line into criminal conduct,” said Michelle Stock, CIJA’s Ontario vice president.
Nineteen of the charges are for hate crimes while the other ten concern the possession of restricted firearms, criminal proceeds and other illegal items.
Advocating genocide and inciting hatred prosecutions are rare in Canada, and require the consent of the Ministry of the Attorney General.
Those charges allegedly stem from posts Azar made on social media between Aug. 26 and the day of his arrest.
Azar’s alleged other crimes allegedly occurred mainly in a Toronto’s North York, home to a large Jewish population.
They began on April 26, 2024 when he allegedly set fire to a United Jewish Appeal sign. Two days later, he allegedly set fire to a sign at Beth Tikvah Synagogue.
After threatening Forest Hill Jewish Centre staff on June 3, he damaged a widow (window?) at the Pride of Israel synagogue on June 30, police alleged in the charges.
That same night, Azar also allegedly damaged the widow (window?) at the Kehillat Shaarei Torah Synagogue, and then returned on July 31 to set fire to a sign.
Also on July 31, he set fire to a sign at the Temple Sinai, and on Aug. 3 he did the same at the Tiferet Israel Congregation, according to the charges.
The Friends of Jesus Christ Church was his next alleged target. On Aug. 19, he allegedly damaged a window at the church, which says its membership is predominantly Filipino.
The final Jewish institution he allegedly damaged was Café Landwer, a Toronto coffee shop that has been targeted by pro-Palestinian protesters.
On Dec. 20, Azar alleged damaged a window at the Jewish-owned business, causing more than $5,000 in damage. He allegedly threatened a victim on Jan. 3.
Aside from the hate counts, Azar has been charged with possession of three loaded handguns that were either prohibited or restricted, a machine used to forge credit cards and more than $5,000 in criminal proceeds.
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service has warned that extremist attacks targeting Canada’s Jewish community are a “realistic possibility.”

“We continue to observe incidents of criminal intimidation, harassment and hate speech targeting Jewish communities in Canada,” said a CSIS document obtained last year by Global News.
“They are indicators of escalating antisemitic activity.”
