Mentally ill woman who stabbed people at Netherlands
walk-in clinic in hospital faces two years jail
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) recommended two years in prison and mandatory treatment at a TBS psychiatric facility or a woman accused of stabbing several people in the waiting room of a walk-in clinic in the Sint-Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein. Nadia El H., 31, was tried before a court in Utrecht for the crimes which took place in September 2023.
Her attack was initially aimed at a woman in a wheelchair who stood up and ran away. She fell shortly afterward and passed away after an extensive resuscitation attempt for a so-called embolism, a loose blood clot that blocks the arteries, with fatal consequences.
The suspect had gone to the walk-in clinic after police and paramedics were sent to her home in Zeist. The woman had smashed windows with a hammer and tried to start a fire at the home, presumably in an attempt to take her own life. The ambulance took her to the walk-in clinic as the crisis service did not want to get involved. The Health and Youth Care Inspectorate is investigating this turn of events.
Relatives of the deceased woman (53) are very critical of the events that led to their relative's death. "The state has failed," one of her daughters said in a victim impact statement. "They have literally put a psychopath in the same room as my mother. My mother was murdered because of a series of demonstrable errors."
El H. was lying in the waiting room of the walk-in clinic under a blanket on the couch when the woman came into the room in a wheelchair, accompanied by her son and daughter. After some time, El H. pulled a pocket knife out of her bag and started stabbing at anything around her. The son of the woman in the wheelchair and a security guard who rushed to the scene were injured in the hand.
The question is whether El H.'s attack led to the woman's death. The OM believes it did. There is no question of intent, but "El H.'s actions played a decisive role in the death," said the prosecutor.
According to specialists, El H. is in a psychotic state all the time. She also displayed confused behavior during the court hearing. She tried to convince the court that she was being followed by the 'Mocro Maffia.'
If she is a radicalized Muslim, she would be in a psychotic state continuously. Is she a Muslim? Nadia is an Eastern European name, although El is a Latin prefix. Stabbing people indiscriminantly is a radical Islamist habit. I expect we will find out eventually. It would be helpful if the media were more forthcoming.
El H.s lawyer strongly criticized the "failings of the emergency services." She thinks her client "has been left to her fate for far too long."
The court will announce its verdict on October 18.

The song remains the same. Massacre. Shouts of “Allahu Akbar”. And police searching for the motive. But at least this time there’s a happy ending courtesy of a personal trainer and his squat stick.
A knife-wielding assailant stabbed and killed a man in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam on Thursday night before he was overpowered by police and bystanders, police said.
Another person was injured in the incident, and the suspected attacker was hurt as he was subdued and arrested.
Witnesses told Dutch broadcaster NOS that the suspect shouted “Allahu Akbar” (“Allah is Greater than Non-Muslim Religions” in Arabic) during the attack.
Police did not confirm this and said they were investigating the motive behind the assault.
It’s a mystery. Just like the 300 other Muslim knife attacks across Europe accompanied by shouts of “Allah is Greater Than Your Religion.” But if the record holds, the motive will prove to be mental illness brought on by marijuana and lack of integration.
“The suspect was overpowered and arrested by bystanders and police officers”, a police statement said.
Mostly one bystander.
De Telegraaf newspaper reported that a personal trainer who had been giving an outdoor class knocked the suspect unconscious with a squat stick that he had broken in two, and other bystanders threw chairs at him.

Litecia told NOS: “I am trained. I did not act out of fear. At first I wanted to run away, but when I saw what was going on, I thought, this has to change.”
The morning after the events was hard for him, he says. “I only got a few hours of sleep. It was intense, it’s still intense. I didn’t know someone had died. There was so much panic, so much screaming, from all sides.”
“I heard a ‘peeng’, that caught my attention. I saw a leg with a skate hit the edge of the bridge, the skater wanted to jump away and the other boy went after him. I thought they were fighting.”
Litecia ran over to calm the fight down. “When I got closer, I saw that he had very large knives, he was covered in blood and he was screaming. There were other people nearby who were trying to help the victim.”
Litecia went back to warn other people. “I told my client to go upstairs and get safe and call the police. And then I went to Remastered, because there was a party there with about 60, 70 older people. They were standing outside. I told them there was a guy coming and stabbing everyone, and they just looked at me.”
“When they realized it, they went in through just one door and that perpetrator went after him and I thought, oh, this is going to get worse.”
He went to see if his client was safe, but came back anyway. “You know, I see those employees there every day. I’ve been coming there for a year, I see everyone open and close. And I saw elderly people outside who were completely unaware of what was going on.”
Bystanders had cornered the attacker by now and were holding him back with chairs and tables. “I saw that they had him in a corner inside, but he wanted to get out. I was standing at the door and I thought: the only way is to just go down right there.
He was shouting all sorts of things, he was cursing, in Arabic I think. Also in my face. We looked into each other’s eyes and he was praying at that moment I think, to his god. But I saw nothing in his eyes, there was no life in them.
He knew what was going to happen, I think my eye contact was more than enough. It was one of those moments: it was him or me, one of us had to die. When I think about it, I just get a headache.
But it was a trade there, so I had to hit him really hard. I had to give him a few taps in the face with a squat bar. It’s filled with iron.”
Litecia believes that people can do much more than they think. “The trigger of a truly healthy and conscious person goes on when they see that they can save someone who can’t save themselves,” he says.
On social media, many people call him a hero and the police also praise the bystanders in Rotterdam for their heroic actions. “I’m going to read all that later,” says Litecia. “I still have to let it sink in. Normally you see it in an action movie, you sit with your friends watching with some popcorn and beer, but this was a real life scene .”
A real life scene that keeps happening. But the trainer makes a very important point.
He himself lost his younger brother in a stabbing fifteen years ago. “Since then, life has changed for all of us. It’s about self-protection, you know.” He draws strength from his faith in God. “I have a lot to lose,” he says emotionally. “I think God put me in this position yesterday, knowing that I would intervene.”
But the suspect also referred to God when he committed his actions. “That is not the same God,” says Reniël. “That is unfortunately also a side of this story. It is now going to be said that it is because of that God, but the God that I have met and that I follow, he is also on this side. It is one heart, all people, one head, all weapons.”
Of course, there is only one God. Allah is a construct of the ambitious Mohammed, that's why he fails so continuously.
Netherlands news sources have named the Allahu Akbarer as a fellow named Ayoub and he had a track record of previous ‘incidents’. This did not have to happen. None of this does. But it will until Islamic migration ends.
