'Crawl Back Under Your Rock,’ Swedish FM Tells Anti-PC Academic Jordan Peterson UPDATE

UPDATE: Just 3 days after Sweden's far-left Foreign Minister insulted Peterson,
as though she were an adolescent, His book has become the #1 bestseller in Sweden!
Ironic, eh?

Canada's Professor Dr. Jordan Peterson is a lightning rod for far-left ideologues. For most, he is a target for name-calling because that's what people do when they cannot win an argument intellectually. Peterson's logical, even brilliant observations and conclusions frustrate liberal extremists no-end. Consequently, like the intellectually bankrupt foreign minister, they resort to adolescent behaviour.

I love irony and this situation presents some very delicious irony. You see, Sweden's far-left loonies see themselves as being far above the rest of us who are not extreme liberal ideologues. In their pride and arrogance, however, they don't seem to have noticed that their behaviour is strikingly like that of Donald Trump. What they think of Donald Trump and the realization that they are behaving in exactly the same manner should be a wake-up call. But nothing wakes up a far-left ideologue, nevertheless, it is delicious irony!

Sweden’s Foreign Minister has issued a rather undiplomatic request to Canadian academic and internet sensation Jordan B. Peterson, thrilling a Stockholm audience by expressing her desire to see him fade from the public eye.

Speaking on a “pro-women” panel in Sweden’s capital on Wednesday, Margot Wallström said that Peterson should "crawl back under the rock he came from,” adding that she "can't grasp why people waste so much time on that man." The snide remarks were reported by local media that covered the event.

Peterson recently visited Sweden to promote the international release of his new book, '12 Rules For Life, an Antidote to Chaos.’ The book has been slammed by the left as conservative snake oil and an affront to feminism.

Wallström is one of the leading forces behind Sweden’s so-called “feminist foreign policy.”

Sweden has a feminist foreign policy? Crazy! It was Sweden who allowed more unvetted Muslim migrants from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa, per person, than even Germany. One of the consequences has to do with a dramatic increase in the sexual abuse of Swedish women and girls at the hands of migrants. Then they keep these incidents as quiet as possible so the girls are not aware of the dangers of being around migrant men. Is there a feminist policy there, somewhere?

Peterson became an overnight sensation after creating a series of YouTube videos in which he decried the Orwellian nature of Canada’s Bill C-16, which he said would force Canadians to use gender-neutral pronouns. The clinical psychologist has since become a widely followed lecturer, making a number of meme-famous appearances on television.

Peterson, who maintains an active and often combative Twitter account, has apparently not yet responded to Wallström’s fighting words.

And, he is not likely to. An adolescent act is not deserving of any response by a mature person.

Iran Admits: Regime Working With Soros Organization

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif says government working 'closely' with George Soros' Open Society Foundations

Gary Willig, Arutz Sheva

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif said Sunday that the Iranian government has worked closely with billionaire George Soros' Open Society Foundations (OSF) organization.

Zarif made the remarks in response to questions raised in the Iranian parliament. According to Zarif, the activity began before he entered his current position, and he boasted that he had succeeded in "keeping the activity organized."

OSF has funded a number of far-left organizations in Israel which seek to change the policy of Israel's government.

According to NGO Monitor, among the top beneficiaries of OSF funding is Human Rights Watch, which has been criticized for targeting, and falsely libeling, the state of Israel. Another is J Street, which describes itself as “pro-Israel” but has been termed anti-Israelby others for, among other things, welcoming proponents of a boycott on Israel at its national conference and honoring IDF soldiers who refused orders.

Another recipient of OSF funding is the Institute for Middle East Understanding, which, NGO-Monitor reports, is headed by staff who have accused Israel of war crimes and have termed Israel an “apartheid state.

The extreme-left Israeli group B’Tselem also receives OSF funds. B’Tselem is notorious for publishing one-sided reports, and for inflating Arab civilian casualty figures. For example, the group included hundreds of Hamas policemen in Gaza as “non-combatants,” and counted Sheikh Ahmed Yassin – then the leader of Hamas – as not a definite combatant.

B’Tselem has listed OSF as a source of support, but OSF has not listed B’Tselem as a recipient, indicating that the grant may have come through an overseas entity.

A leaked OSF document said that OSF’s strategy with respect to Israel is to "focus on raising the cost of the occupation and ending it on the one hand, and on human rights advocacy and protection on the other."

‘Post-West World Order’ Being Shaped as we Speak – Lavrov

Interesting piece, as brief as it is, follows beautifully with my previous post

A new multipolar order, driven by economics and history, is emerging in the world and Western attempts to stop or to slow it down are unlikely to succeed, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told UK’s Channel 4.

“I think that we are in the post-West world order,” Lavrov told the British Channel 4 in an interview on Friday. “It is a historical epoch, if you want. Certainly, after five or so centuries of domination of the collective West, as it were, it is not very easy to adjust to new realities that there are other powerhouses economically, financially and politically,” he added, pointing to China, India and Brazil.

Asked if Russia was shaping this world order, Lavrov replied it was rather the product of history and “development itself.”

“You cannot really hope to contain [these] new powerful, economically and financially, countries. You cannot really ignore their role in world trade and world economy,” despite attempts to slow down the process with sanctions and tariffs, the top Russian diplomat said.

The European Union is “certainly a very important pillar of any world order,” Lavrov added, but it needs to decide whether to remain reliant on the US or become more self-sufficient. By way of illustration, Lavrov brought up the migrant crisis, which the EU is currently struggling with.

“NATO bombed Libya, turned Libya into a black hole through which waves of migrants, illegal migrants, rushed to Europe. Now EU is cleaning the broken china for NATO,” Lavrov said.

Russia’s relations with the West, which have soured dramatically since the 2014 US-backed coup in Ukraine, will be among the topics discussed at the July summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Finland.

During the interview, Lavrov brushed off Channel 4 speculation that Russia could offer to hand over NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, whom it granted political asylum, in exchange for the lifting of US and EU sanctions.

No Talking Turkey in Rotterdam - Major Diplomatic Incident

Turkey's Family Affairs Minister has been blocked by Dutch police from entering the Turkish consulate in Rotterdam, Netherlands, according to broadcaster NOS News.

The news outlet posted footage purportedly showing the minister, Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya, surrounded by police after she stepped out of her car.

Anadolu reports that the Dutch police also blocked its correspondents along with reporters from Turkey’s TRT channel, who were with the minister to cover her visit.

Earlier there were reports that the minister was arrested by they were later dismissed.

Channels CNN Turk and NTV earlier reported that the convoy of Turkey's family minister was stopped at the Netherlands border.

The incident involving the Turkish family minister comes just hours after Dutch authorities revoked authorization for the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu’s flight, hours after he had warned that Turkey would retaliate if his visit was canceled.

Earlier, he insisted that he would go ahead with his visit to Rotterdam even if local Dutch authorities did not agree to his taking part in a rally promoting a change in Turkey’s constitution.

Cavusoglu intended to campaign at the rally to drum up votes in favor of an April referendum that would give the Turkish president new powers, but Rotterdam’s mayor, Ahmed Aboutaleb, banned the Turkish official from speaking in public in the city late Friday.

Just moments ago it was made known that the Dutch embassy and consulate in Turkey have been closed off for security reasons, according to Reuters citing Turkish foreign ministry sources.

Another source reports: The street where the consulate building is located (the Turkish consulate in Rotterdam) has been closed right after Kaya announced she was going to hold a meeting to address Turkish citizens for the upcoming referendum.

The family minister's vehicle was intercepted by Dutch police while entering the country.

Let's try and unpack this information to attempt to get at what is really going on here. First - The Turkish FM was refused permission to enter the Netherlands to speak at a rally in support of the constitutional changes to be voted on in Turkey next month. Those changes mean more power for Erdogan and are a big step in his quest for Caliph-like powers. Talk of the possibility of him being refused led the FM to threaten retaliation if it occurred. Nevertheless, it occurred.

Meanwhile, Turkey's Family Affairs Minister was in Rotterdam. It is not clear what she was told when she entered the country it appears she was prevented from entering the Turkish consulate in Rotterdam to prevent her from holding a meeting or making a statement regarding the referendum.

Another factor may be that the mayor of Rotterdam is named Ahmed Aboutaleb - good Dutch name! Aboutaleb is a Muslim from Morocco and is of Berber descent. That probably does not factor into the equation but one never knows in the complex and competitive world of Islam.

To summarize, The Netherlands strongly opposes Edrogan's move to increase his own power and they are willing to trash diplomatic relations with Turkey to take a stand against him. I like it!
