The Global Wealth Transfer Scheme > The Billionaire Surge - A problem for the WEF, or a symptom of it?

Billionaire wealth surged in 2024, says Oxfam as world leaders meet for Davos

Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Billionaire wealth surged last year, with the world's richest individuals adding $2 trillion to their pockets in 2024, according to a new report released Monday to coincide with world leaders converging on Switzerland for the annual World Economic Forum.

The World Economic Forum, also known as the Davos Forum for the city where it is held, kicked off Monday under the theme "Collaboration for the Intelligent Age," where political, business, academic and civil society leaders will gather to discuss global issues, such as inequality.

As it does ahead of each Davos Forum, the Britain-based non-governmental organization Oxfam International released its annual report on the worsening state of global inequality.

Titled Takers Not Makers, Oxfam's report, states that billionaire wealth grew by a combined $5.7 billion per day last year, while poverty has barely changed since the 1990s.

Last year also saw the number of billionaires rise from 2,565 in 2023 to 2,769, with their combined wealth surging from $13 trillion to $15 trillion in the 12-month period. According to the report, this represents the second-largest annual increase in billionaire wealth since records began.

200 new billionaires in a year. I wonder how many made their money from child pornography, and how many got rich selling weapons to Ukraine and unneeded weapons to Europe?

The surge has prompted Oxfam, which last year predicted the world's first trillionaire would emerge within a decade, to now state it expects to see at least five trillionaires in the same time frame.

"The capture of our global economy by a privileged few has reached heights once considered unimaginable," Oxfam International Executive Director Amitabh Behar said in a statement.

"The failure to stop billionaires is now spawning soon-to-be-trillionaires."

The report was published not only at the start of Davos but also ahead of Donald Trump's inauguration as president of the United States on Monday. In his farewell address, outgoing President Joe Biden warned of the growing threat posed by the unchecked power of the extremely wealthy.

Funny, he never complained about the extraordinary interference by George Soros in American politics for the past 4 years.

In doing so, Biden alluded to Trump and those in his inner circle, in particular the world's richest man, Elon Musk. Biden warned that there was "an oligarchy" of extreme wealth, power and influence taking shape in the United States.

As opposed to extreme wealth, extreme power and influence by Deep State, Big Pharma, the food industry, the War Industry, Big Oil, etc. for several years now.

Mirroring that sentiment, the report from Oxfam references Trump and his November election win as having given "a huge further boost to billionaire fortunes, while his policies are set to fan the flames of inequality further."

It continues by stating there is "a new aristocratic oligarchy" wielding immense power in politics and the economy.

As opposed to the old aristocratic oligarchy.

The report states that 60% of billionaire wealth comes from either inheritance, cronyism, corruption or monopoly power. If left unchecked, the world will see the "biggest transfer of the largest generational wealth in human history."

I am quite sure that we have already seen that in the past several years. But what per cent of billionaire wealth comes from the war industry? An industry that adds nothing of any value but only death and destruction. It's astonishing that civilization has not evolved beyond this.

"The crown jewel of this oligarchy is a billionaire president, backed and bought by the world's richest man, Elon Musk, running the world's largest economy," Behar said.

"Bought by", billionaires can't be bought. That's why Deep State hates Trump so much, they can't buy him, and now, if they could, they can't afford him.

"We present this report as a stark wake-up call that ordinary people the world over are being crushed by the wealth of a tiny few."

To right the situation, Oxfam is calling for governments to ensure that the incomes of the top 10% of their citizenry are no higher than the bottom 40%.

Yeah, right!

Additionally, it urges the world's richest and their companies pay to their fair share in taxes.

Oxfam is also calling for the abolishment of tax havens and for governments to end the exodus of wealth from the southern half of the world to the north by breaking up monopolies, democratizing patent rules and regulating corporations.

Former colonial powers, it said, must also offer formal apologies and provide reparations to those they have harmed.

The migration from South Asia, Africa, Central and South America to the old colonial powers that robbed them of their resources and left them with little or nothing is well deserved. I have been writing for many years that the old colonial powers owe their former colonies a fortune in investments, and that that is the only way they are going to slow down the mass migration from south to north.

Of course, there is also a matter of the migration of Islam to Christian countries as a matter of policy by Islam and by people like George Soros. He seems determined to destroy Christianity and is not the least bothered by the idea of replacing it with the Dark Ages ideology of Islam.

Six Principles for a New World Order > Vladimir Putin

Can you imagine Biden, or Kamala, or Trudeau speaking like this without notes or teleprompters?

May be an image of 1 person and text that says "Vladimir Putin presented six principles of the future world order He congratulated the US President-elect and condemned Western hegemony Elena Mukhametshina 口 口 | read it later aldai glarunsia คีซ 20 BaлAaй AиcKyccиoHHblй MeжAyHapoAKblй Kлy6 Vladimir Putin congratulated Donald Trump on his victory on the day of the October Revolution of 1917 Maxim Stulov Vedomosti nc ชตบรี"

etpsoa4630 a0td70g112l1h9: a5y7mea9ic5ue24l1trfrinciples of the real new world order differ significantly from the principles of the WEF fake new world order.
In Vedomosti: The Russian President formulated six principles of a new world order and spoke about them in his speech at a meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club in Sochi. The topic of the current meeting was formulated as follows: "A Lasting Peace - on What Basis? Universal Security and Equal Opportunities for Development in the 21st Century." Valdai, which brought together participants from Western and Eastern countries, began on October (November?) 4, on the eve of the US presidential election, and the plenary session with Putin's participation took place on the 7th, when it became known that Republican Donald Trump would win (Vedomosti wrote about this in detail the day before). But the Russian President approached this topic only after two hours of conversation.
And it's not a pity to call
When Trump was first elected to the US presidency in 2016, there was talk that he could make many mistakes because he was a businessman, Putin noted. The Russian president was impressed by how the White House occupant behaved during an assassination attempt during the election campaign. “He turned out to be a courageous man. And it’s not just about raising his hand and calling for people to fight for their ideals. A person shows themselves in extraordinary circumstances. This is where a person shows themselves. And he showed himself, in my opinion, in the right way, courageously, like a man,” Putin said. According to the Russian president, Trump was “hounded from all sides” at some point.
At the same time, Putin found it difficult to say what would happen next. He recalled that this would be Trump's second and final term. But what the Republican said publicly about restoring relations with Russia, about the possibility of resolving the situation with the conflict in Ukraine, deserves attention. The president added that he does not take into account Trump's words during the election campaign, since it was a fight for voters' votes.
"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him on his election as President of the United States. I have already said that we will work with any head of state that the American people trust," Putin said. When asked by Russia in Global Affairs editor-in-chief Fyodor Lukyanov what Putin would do if Trump called him and offered to meet, the president replied that he himself did not consider it shameful to call. He recalled that some Western leaders used to call him every week, but then stopped. If they want to resume contacts, then we will resume them, Putin added.
"This is the sixth president in your lifetime," Lukyanov noted. And he asked Putin which of the US leaders he remembered.
"You know, they are all interesting people. It is hard to imagine a person who would end up at the top of power in one of the world's leading countries and be absolutely insignificant or stupid, an uninteresting person," the Russian president said. In his opinion, the domestic political culture in the United States is becoming more acute, and methods are being used to "let down" the current head of state. Putin recalled how many attacks there were on George Bush, and called them lies: "He is in no way inferior to anyone sitting in this room."
Putin's Testament
Beginning his speech, Putin said that the meeting was taking place on a significant date for Russia (the day of the October Revolution of 1917), noting that we are now living in an era of change. Over the past 20 years, nations have begun to more clearly understand their uniqueness and identity. And the world is facing an increasing number of challenges - from new regional conflicts to climate change. A "serious, irreconcilable struggle" is unfolding for the formation of a new world order, Putin said. According to him, this is a fight not for geopolitical influence, but for principles.
Democracy is beginning to be interpreted as the rule of the minority, the president said. This can be seen in the example of Western liberalism, which is intolerant of any alternative. "Finally, these are international conflicts and clashes fraught with mutual destruction. After all, weapons capable of doing this exist and are constantly being improved. <...> And the club of those who possess such weapons is expanding, and no one guarantees that in the event of an avalanche-like increase in threats and the final destruction of legal and moral norms, they will not be used," Putin said. He emphasized that the West's calls to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia demonstrate "the extreme adventurism of Western politicians" - this could "turn into a global tragedy."
Some Western elites, he said, are ready to do anything to prevent the emergence of an international system that would meet the interests of the global majority. When Washington and Western countries recognize the fact that a new world system is being built, “genuine creation” will begin.
Russia does not perceive Western civilization as an enemy, Putin noted: "The West has accumulated truly enormous <...> resources, thanks to which it can successfully develop, remaining one of the most important elements of the world system. But precisely "one of", on a par with other actively developing states and groups of countries." The West also attempted to separate Russia from the world economic system and wanted to deal a crushing blow. The mainstream is directed in the opposite direction, and not in the direction the West is looking - "from a descending hegemonic world to an ascending diversity," Putin said.
Putin has spoken at length about how the world order was formed first after World War II and then after the end of the Cold War. The West's misinterpretation of the Cold War's results was a manifestation of its "geopolitical greed," which led to regional conflicts - in the Balkans, the Middle East, and now in Ukraine, Putin believes. He called the philosopher Francis Fukuyama's "end of history" concept short-sighted. New leaders began to emerge in the world, while the West began to adjust the rules it had established, which led to a conflict between the global majority and the global minority. According to Putin, no one should feel humiliated in a multipolar world.
New World Order
Putin named six principles of the new world order. He spoke about them at last year's Valdai meeting, but now he developed his thoughts. The first principle is openness to interaction is the main value for the international majority. The second principle is that the diversity of the world is a factor in its sustainability. The development model of one country should not be imposed on others, Putin said.
The third principle, he said, is that the world should develop on the basis of maximum representativeness. Those who are commonly called great powers believe that they can dictate the rules to others, Putin said. Another principle is security for all, and the bloc approach contradicts the multipolar world. Now there is only one bloc left in the world - NATO. "[The West] needs to tear Russia and Europe apart, especially Russia and Germany, France. That's how they brought it to a coup in Ukraine and to military actions in the southeast, in Donbass. They simply forced us to take retaliatory actions," the president believes.
Military-political blocs are an obstacle to development, he noted. According to him, the prototype of a non-aligned community is BRICS.
The fifth principle is justice for all, Putin said. According to him, the main problem is inequality, the gap between the golden billion and the world majority. The sixth principle, according to the president, should be equality. He believes that in today's world, arrogance and the desire to teach other countries are destructive - something Russia has never done.
"Over several centuries, stereotypes, a kind of hierarchy, have developed in the Western-centric world. There is, they say, a developed world, progressive humanity and some kind of universal civilization that everyone should strive for. And then there are backward, uncivilized peoples, barbarians," Putin said. In his opinion, this approach is a racist ideology that hinders universal harmonious development.
