Arson Attacks on Churches in Germany at Record High
Some people in Germany are apparently determined to vandalize or burn down as many churches as they can. Let’s see if we can figure out who those people might be. More on these arsonists can be found here:
Arson Attacks on Christian Churches Rise to Record High in Germany
by Kurt Zindulka, Breitbart, November 18, 2025:
The number of anti-Christian arson attacks on churches in Germany has surged to a record high amid a “climate of growing intolerance,” a report from the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe (OIDAC Europe) found.
In its annual report published this week, based on data collected from European police forces, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and various civil society groups, OIDAC Europe reported that there were 33 arson attacks against German churches in 2024.
This represented a record high for the country and stood as the most of any country in Europe last year, Die Welt reported.
In August, the German Bishops’ Conference (DBK) warned that attacks on churches have been escalating and that “all taboos have now been broken.”
A DBK spokesman said at the time: “For several years now, we have been dealing with an escalating problem: excrement in holy water fonts and confessionals, decapitated statues of Christ and saints, cigarette butts and other litter in front of devotional images, damaged prayer and hymn books, overturned pews, smashed windows, altarpieces and entire altars destroyed by arson.”
In addition to arson attacks, the OIDAC report found that police recorded anti-Christian hate crimes in Germany rose by 22 per cent last year to 337. This followed a 105 per cent increase in 2023, which saw 277 such attacks.
Meanwhile, France experienced the most anti-Christian hate crimes of any European country, according to the report, which identified 770 police recorded incidents and a further 139 reported by civil society groups. While this represented a “modest decrease” over the previous year, OIDAC Europe noted that this trend appears to have been short-lived, with 2025 already outpacing last year by 13 per cent.
France, the report said, experienced a “disproportionately high number of incidents with an Islamist background,” including the desecration of a cemetery in southern France, which saw over 50 graves and the church vandalised with slogans such as “Submit to Islam.”
Hmm. An “Islamist background.” The scrawled demand “submit to Islam.” Yes, we get the message. We know who is to blame. If they did it in Germany, why wouldn’t they do it in France, in the UK, in Italy? Remember how Oriana Fallaci went into a rage because Muslims in Florence would urinate on the bronze “doors of Paradise” — as Michelangelo called them — at the Baptistery that Lorenzo Ghiberti carved. Wikipedia claims that this didn’t happen — a Muslim editor was no doubt behind this attempt to mislead. People in Florence have testified that they have seen Muslims urinating on the doors. I’ll take their testimony over Wikipedia, a known purveyor of misinformation about Muslims and Islam.
This destruction of churches and their contents in Europe has been going on for a long time. Six years ago, I posted at this site what had happened to French churches in 2018:
There was a fire set at St. Sulpice, the second-largest church in Paris, which sits in the Muslim-majority neighborhood of Seine Saint-Denis, surrounded by mosques and Muslim shops. At the church of Villeneuve de Berg in Ardèche, Muslim teenagers urinated into the holy water font to express their contempt for Christianity. In another church, Muslims fashioned a cross of human excrement smeared on a church wall, with stolen Communion hosts stuck at the four corners. Some may be reminded of Oriana Fallaci’s enraged report on Muslim immigrants in Florence who, to express their dissatisfaction at not being given the treatment they felt was their due, urinated (and some defecated) on the bronze doors of the Baptistery, both the north and east doors by Lorenzo Ghiberti, and the south doors by Andrea Pisano; these doors are one of the supreme works of Renaissance art. On seeing Ghiberti’s doors, Michelangelo called them the “Gates of Paradise.” These were the doors streaming with urine, and smeared with feces, by Muslim migrants showing their contempt for the Unbelievers who, after all, had given them refuge but apparently, that was not enough.
In 2018, there were 1,063 attacks on Christian churches or symbols (crucifixes, icons, statues) in France, a 17% rise over the year before. All over France, acts of vandalism of churches have been registered in ever-increasing numbers. In recent months, crucifixes have been pulled off church walls and broken into pieces. Statues of Jesus, Mary, and various saints have been smashed; many have been decapitated. The monastery of Saint Jean des Blames in Aveyron was sacked by Muslims. The Paris daily Le Figaro, in reporting on some of these incidents, asked “Who has heard of the sacking of the monastery of Saint Jean des Balmes in Aveyron? Of those teenagers who urinated into the holy water font of the church at Villeneuve de Berg in Ardèche?” RT states that “the Church of St. Sulpice in Paris, where the Da Vinci Code movie was filmed, was set on fire just after midday mass on Sunday, Le Parisien reports. Firefighters and police said the blaze was an arson attack. In February, a 19th century statue of the Virgin Mary was smashed at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Houilles. The statue was ‘completely pulverized,’ Father Francois-Laurent Heart said. ‘It is irreparable.’ The church reported three incidents in 10 days, with a cross also thrown on the floor by vandals. At Saint-Alain Cathedral in Lavaur, statues and crosses were smashed and an altar cloth was burned in February. A statue of Christ on a cross was also interfered with, as vandals twisted one of the arms to make it appear that Jesus was dabbing, La Depeche reports….Meanwhile, the Notre-Dame des Enfants church in Nimes was looted and vandals used human excrement to draw a cross on the wall in February. Consecrated hosts of unleavened bread, which Catholics believe is the body of Jesus Christ, were found scattered outside with rubbish.” These and numerous other attacks on French churches receive minimal, if any, media coverage.

UK Muslim Home Secretary Threatens Visa Ban on 3 Christian Countries
Muslim mass migration still welcome.
According to Oxford’s Migration Observatory, “the number of asylum seekers in the UK reached the highest number on record in 2024 with claims from people from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and Bangladesh making up one-third of the total.”
But PM Keir Starmer appointed the new Islamist Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood on the promise that she would crack down on mass migration.
What kind of mass migration would an Islamist crack down on?
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is threatening a visa ban on Angola, Namibia and the Democratic Republic of Congo unless they take back their migrants.
What do these countries have in common? They’re 90%+ Christian.
And the UK has every right to crack down on countries that don’t take back their migrants, but this is an obviously Islamist effort to deport Christians while importing mass numbers of Muslims.
The three African countries are being accused of refusing to take back 4,000 migrants. There were 30,000 Afghan invaders in just 2 years. There was a secret program importing huge numbers of Afghans that reporters were forbidden to even mention on pain of a jail sentence.
There’s no reform here. It’s the open weaponization of fake immigration reform against Christians and for Muslims.

18 Christian leaders arrested in China amid crackdown on churches
Leaders of a Chinese house church have been arrested for purportedly “illegally using information networks” in what looks to be part of a broader crackdown by the CCP on non-state-sanctioned Christian denominations.
This latest incident occurred at Zion Church in Beihai, Guangxi Province, where Senior Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri was among the 18 arrested.
They could be held in pre-trial detention indefinitely or receive prison sentences of up to three years, according to Christian Solidarity Worldwide.
Zion Church is among the largest unofficial churches in China, boasting at least 5,000 members. In 2018, Beijing officials closed down the church’s main building after it refused to install CCTV cameras.
Scott Bower, CEO of CSW, condemned the arrest of Pastor Jin and other Zion Church leaders. He said they had "been targeted solely for the peaceful exercise of their religious beliefs."
“We call on the Chinese Communist Party to release these individuals immediately and without condition, and to cease its harassment of churches and religious groups that choose not to register with the CCP in order to practice their religion or belief without undue interference and surveillance," he said.
According to Open Doors, which monitors anti-Christian activity across the world, China has recently begun cracking down on unregistered churches. In September, it was reported that 70 Christians had been detained, with some being arrested during church services.
Accusations included “fraud,” “running an illegal business,” or “organizing unlawful meetings.” In at least one case, church members responsible for managing the collections were accused of financial wrongdoing, despite no complaints from within the church, Open Doors said.
A local partner for Open Doors said of the situation, “Due to the recent crackdown, our church has come to a standstill. More than 80 groups within the house church movement have ceased meeting. Of the original 14 churches, only a few remain.”
Hezbollah Murder of Leading Christian Politician
Elias Hasrouni was a leading figure among the Christians in Lebanon, the leader of the Central Council of the Lebanese Forces, who became widely known for his fierce and eloquent attacks on the terror group Hezbollah. This, of course, would never do; Hezbollah had to silence him, and in August 2023, they poisoned him, and then placed his body in a car that was then crashed, making it appear that he had died in a car crash. In killing Hasrouni, Hezbollah not only rid itself of an articulate enemy, but also provided a warning to the Lebanese government: Don’t try to disarm us, nor try to destroy our weapons stockpiles, or shut down our military outposts, because if you don’t do as we say… well, look what happened in August 2023 to Elias Hasrouni.
More on the latest information, confirmed by the IDF, about Hezbollah’s murder of a Lebanese Christian leader can be found here:
Exposing Hezbollah: IDF claims terror group murdered prominent Christian-Lebanese critic
Jerusalem Post, November 14, 2025:
Christian Lebanese politician, Elias Hasrouni, was assassinated by the Hezbollah terror group he opposed, the IDF confirmed on Friday.
Known for his staunch criticism of the terror group, Hasrouni worked as the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Forces central council in Bint Jbeil when he was killed in an ambush last year.
The 72-year-old was assassinated by Hezbollah’s Unit 121 in August 2023, according to the IDF, despite the terror group’s rumoring that he had perished in a car accident.
The terror group was said to have ambushed Hasrouni on a road near his home in Ain Ebel in southern Lebanon, where they abducted him. After kidnapping the elderly politician, the IDF claimed the terrorists broke his ribs and poisoned him.
Another member of the Christian Lebanese Forces party was abducted and murdered last year. Pascal Sleiman was kidnapped and killed in the Byblos District of northern Lebanon in April last year. The Lebanese Army announced that they had arrested most of the members of a Syrian gang that they had found were behind Sleiman’s kidnapping and murder….
While a “Syrian gang” of Alawites, who were allies of Hezbollah, may well have murdered Pascal Sleiman, it is also possible that Hezbollah’s Unit 121 carried out the killing, and the Lebanese Army didn’t want to point the finger at Hezbollah, because not only would that infuriate the vindictive terror group, but had it blamed Hezbollah, Lebanese Christians would have pressured the Lebanese Army to go after Hezbollah, something that in 2023, the army was unwilling to do.
Former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, a Sunni Muslim, was a billionaire who had made his fortune as a contractor in Saudi Arabia, and had close ties to the Saudis, as their man in Beirut. Naturally, as an arch-Sunni, the Shi’a of Hezbollah hated him. On February 14, 2005, as his motorcade was driving through Beirut, the car he was traveling in passed a truck parked on the side of the road. A suicide bomber blew up that vehicle, killing Hariri and 21 others.
Hezbollah killed Pascal Sleiman in April 2023 and Elias Hasrouni in August 2023. Since then, the Lebanese National Army has not arrested or disarmed a single Hezbollah member, except for a few individuals who were accused of crimes having nothing to do with being members of Hezbollah. Since February the president of Lebanon has been Joseph Aoun, a Christian who detests Hezbollah, but also would like to stay alive. That is why, despite considerable pressure from Washington, and hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid from the Americans, President Aoun is still proceeding very cautiously against the terror group that has had Lebanon in thrall for nearly two decades.
