Sweden: Iraqi man fills Qur’an with bacon, tears it up, burns it

outside mosque on Eid

According to Euro News, the Iraqi refugee “tore, burned and kicked” the Qur’an “at a protest initially allowed by the authorities.” Why would this Iraqi refugee, Salwan Momika, display such disdain for the Qur’an? It suggests that this refugee (along with so many others) has suffered as a result of Qur’anic doctrines which call for the harm of and murder of those who are considered  heretics, apostates, and above all, infidels.

Turkey continues to resist Sweden’s bid to join NATO over two sticking points: Qur’an burnings and Sweden’s allowing Kurdish protests. As a result of the latter, Turkey deems Sweden to be harboring “terrorists,” which is nonsense. This incident has further enraged Turkey, and the country is joined by “several Middle Eastern countries, including Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Iran,” which “have condemned a ‘provocative’ incident.”

Turkey which has been virtually holding Sweden hostage over its principle of freedom of expression, which does not recognize “hurt feelings” as an excuse to violate its constitution. Sweden expectedly criticized the “Islamophobic” act, as well as ongoing Kurdish protests.

Even worse was the comment from the deputy spokesman for the US State Department, Vedant Patel. He stated that the “burning of religious texts is “disrespectful and hurtful.” Despite his view, Patel still encouraged Turkey to accept Sweden into NATO, which is now further hardened against Sweden after yet another Qur’an burning.

Iraqi man fills a Koran with bacon and burns it outside a Stockholm mosque after police allowed protest, enraging Turkey which holds sway over Sweden’s bid to join NATO

Chris Jewers, Daily Mail, June 28, 2023:

An Iraqi man filled a Koran with bacon and burned it in Stockholm on Wednesday, an event that has angered Turkey as Sweden bids to join NATO.

The inflammatory stunt was carried out by two men outside the city’s main mosque on the first day of the Muslim three-day Eid al-Adha holiday.

Some 200 onlookers witnessed one of the two organisers – Salwan Momika – tearing up pages of a copy of the Koran and wiping his shoes with it before putting bacon in it and setting the book on fire, whilst the other protester spoke into a megaphone.

Some of those present shouted ‘God is great’ in Arabic to protest against the burning, and one man was detained by police after he attempted to throw a rock. A supporter of the demonstration shouted ‘let it burn’ as the holy book caught on fire….

Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan condemned the act in a tweet on Wednesday, writing: ‘I condemn the vile protest against our holy book in Sweden.’…

Eastern Malaysia opposes Islamic expansionism and

'dangerous slide toward religious extremism'

Last November, Malaysia’s fifteenth general election was described as “arguably the most historic in the country’s history. For the first time, no coalition managed to secure a parliamentary majority, resulting in a hung federal parliament.” But most significant was that the Malaysian Islamic Party (the Parti Islam Se-Malaysia – PAS) enjoyed a sweeping win. The win reflected the growth of influence of the ulema in that country, which was on a path to secularism starting in the 1950’s.

Ulema - a body of Muslim scholars recognized as having specialist knowledge of Islamic sacred law and theology.

While most Westerners are asleep on the issue of historic and present Islamic expansionism, it is alive and well in many countries. In Malaysia, the Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) was also founded in the Fifties, and never lost sight of its goal to Islamize Malaysia. According to the publication European Eye on Radicalization:

the ulema had a long-term view of building upon the extensive network of traditional pondoks (religious schools), and madrasas (Quranic schools) across the region. These pondoks and madrasas had been owned and operated by families who were uztaz and uztazas (male and female Islamic teachers) going back for generations.

By 2017, Malaysia’s population was shifting to side with the ulema. Reuters reported that tens of thousands of Malaysians rallied in the capital of Kuala Lumpur “to support the adoption of a strict Islamic penal code, a proposal religious minorities fear could infringe their rights.”

With the rise of Islamization comes persecution of minorities, an inevitable result of Islamic supremacism. Then-Prime Minister Najib Razak threw his weight behind the bill, even as critics warned “that it could pave the way for full implementation of hudud, which prescribes punishments such as amputations and stoning, and disrupt the fabric of Malaysia’s multi-cultural and multi-religious society.”

Fast forward to elections in November 2022: the new Malaysian prime minister, Anwar Ibrahim, was seen as a hope, and reported by the Conversation to be considered by many “to be one of the only real Muslim democrats fighting to keep Malaysia multiracial and multicultural,” and that “many Western governments breathed a sigh of relief on seeing Anwar triumph.” But the accolades were premature. Ibrahim stated only months ago that secularism will never be recognized in his country. He included secularism as an ill, along with communism:

Sometimes these politicians will say that if Anwar becomes prime minister then Islam will be ruined, secularism and communism will gain a foothold, and LGBT will be recognised….This is a delusion. Of course, it will never happen under my administration.

In Malaysia today, “Islam has been taught as a religion of exclusion to the point where those who don’t share the same beliefs are labeled as infidels,” but the Eastern Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak are “uneasy” to the point of readiness to oppose Malaysia’s Islamization:

Sabah and Sarawak are looking on in growing concern, raising questions if they can serve as a restraint to move the country away from its dangerous slide toward religious extremism, or if they might drift toward a de facto independence

Sabah and Sarawak are the largest states in Malaysia. In 2020, Sabah had a population of 3.4 million; Sarawak’s population was 2.56 million. The fight for secularism in these significant states has been years in the making, see HERE and HERE. Given that Malaysia has a population of 33.6 million, and the determination of the ulema, it increasingly looks like historic Islamic expansionism will win another territory, yet again. In the meantime, Westerners remain willfully blind.

Islam - Current Day > Palestinians Furious that Israel is making life easier for Gazans

..

Palestinian Leaders Alarmed That Israel Wants to Improve

Conditions for Palestinians

In the No-Good-Deed-Goes-Unpunished Department, Israel has decided to allow Palestinians in Gaza to use the Ramon Airport near Eilat for flights abroad. Until now, they have had to use airports in Amman and Cairo, requiring long and expensive trips overland from Gaza. More on the Israeli plans to help the Palestinians, and the angry response from Palestinian officials, can be found here:

Residents of Gaza could soon fly from Israeli airport

The JC, June 26, 2023:

Residents of the Gaza Strip may soon be able to fly to Turkey via Israel’s Ramon Airport near Eilat.

“The pilot program could start as early as July when two flights are anticipated, Channel 12 reported.

The final decision is subject to approval by the security and political echelons. Gaza sources say the flights will be available to residents ages 35 and older.

Younger Palestinian males are regarded as much greater security risks.

They will be shuttled to the airport from the Erez crossing in the northern Gaza Strip. At present, Gazans travel via the Erez crossing by land to Jordan and fly abroad from there.

Gazans wishing to go abroad now have to endure a long trip that begins at the Erez crossing in Gaza, where they undergo a first security check, then they travel all across Israel to the Allenby Crossing, where they have a long wait, before undergoing a second security check by Jordanian border police. From there they make another trip overland from the border to the airport just outside Amman. The time, and money saved by travelers from Gaza, now able to fly from the Ramon Airport, will be considerable.

The announcement follows a similar one from the Israel Airports Authority in August 2022 that Palestinians from the West Bank would be able to take charter flights from Ramon Airport to Turkey.

The first flight from the airport with Palestinian Arabs on board departed on August 22. Its destination was not Turkey but rather Cyprus.

Elder of Ziyon notes:

While the announcement is not official, Palestinian travel agencies are already advertising the trips.

Right now, for Gazans to travel anywhere, they need to get permission to enter Egypt, which is difficult to get to begin with, and then travel by bus directly to Cairo’s airport – a six hour trip – and then wait hours more for their flights.

The trip from the Gaza crossings to Ramon is about three hours.

Gazans who will now be allowed to fly out from Ramon Airport will thereby cut their overland travel time in half.

Elder of Ziyon continued:

The Palestinian Authority announced that it opposes this and will do whatever it can to block Palestinians from traveling to Ramon Airport, saying that this will hurt relations with Jordan and Egypt, which would lose out on revenues from Palestinians traveling through those countries to get to Amman and Cairo, respectively.

So the PA is more concerned with making sure that both Egypt and Jordan continue to profit from Palestinian travelers, rather than helping those travelers save money by using the Ramon Airport. It intends to block Palestinians – but how? — from using that airport.

The leftist terror groups Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which are closely linked with many “human rights” NGOs, issued  condemnations for allowing Gazans to fly to Turkey through Ramon Airport.
Their reasons are a perfect example of the blind hatred that Palestinian leaders have for Israel – so much so that they are eager to make their own people miserable for nebulous political gain.

They called on Palestinians to boycott Ramon airport, saying that Israel is using this as a means to reduce terror from Gaza.

So Israel’s attempt to make things easier for Palestinian travelers from Gaza is a bad thing, because it could lessen their hostility to the Jewish state, and the impulse to sow terror. The cunning Zionists are helping the Palestinians, not out of any real sympathy, but only to decrease terrorism. What a diabolical people!

PFLP political analyst Zulfiqar Swergo said…“The Gaza government must carefully consider the strategic interests of the Palestinian people, and not forget that it is a government of resistance, and that this step will harm the idea of resistance that our people are now strongly adopting in the West Bank, and it must be aware that the ‘neutralization’ of the Gaza Strip is a major blow to the escalation of resistance in the West Bank.”…

The PFLP wants to keep the Palestinians in as deep a state of wretchedness as possible, in order to keep up their “spirit of resistance.” Any attempt by Israel to make their lives easier is misperceived as part of a plot to weaken Palestinian hostility, when it only reflects the decency of the Israelis, who are trying to ameliorate the Palestinian condition, without harming Israel’s security, wherever possible. Opening up Palestinian access to Ramon Airport is one such way.

DFLP political analyst Mahmoud Mardawi complained that “there is an economic goal for the occupation behind this matter, especially since none of the Zionists went to use Ramon Airport when it opened.”

He warned about “the political motives and the affirmation of the apartheid policy that the occupation practices day and night against our people” and called for all Palestinian institutions to “thwart this racist project.”…

In the twisted minds of some Arab analysts, such as DFLP’s Mahmoud Mardawi, Israel is only opening the Ramon Airport to the Palestinians in order to make money from the increase in air traffic at that airport. To the DFLP (Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine), it is better that the Palestinians continue to use the distant airports in Cairo and Amman, even if it will cost them far more. The economic well-being of the Palestinian travelers doesn’t matter. What counts is preventing the Zionists from taking Palestinian travel away from fellow Arabs.

Israel can’t win. If it imposes restrictions on the Palestinians – such as limiting Muslim visitors to Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan to women of all ages, male children up to 12 years old, and men over 55 years old, in order to minimize the chances of violent riots — it will be denounced. If it lifts restrictions on Palestinian travelers, as with this new policy of allowing them to use Ramon Airport, it will also be denounced, for trying to weaken the “spirit of resistance,” by making life easier for the Palestinians.

The worse things are for the Palestinians, according to the leaders of the terror groups, the stronger will be their will to resist. So keep them immiserated. It’s for the very best of causes – to destroy the Jewish state and replace it with a 23rd Arab state, the state of “Palestine, that will soon be free/From the river to the sea.”

European Union reaches deal to make it easier for countries

to jointly buy weapons

June 28 (UPI) -- Two branches of the European Union agreed late Tuesday to a plan to smooth out the path that will allow member states to purchase military weapons together more easily.

The European Parliament and European Council reached a deal on new rules to incentivize members to make defense product purchases together to support its defense industry.

In a time when the multi-member organization is keeping a weary eye on Russia's invasion of Ukraine while offering military support to Kyiv, the deal to swiftly make joint defense purchases has taken on a new urgency.

The legislation will allow groups of at least three countries to jointly procure defense materiel and get some of the money back from the EU budget. There will be some restrictions to ensure foreign contractors outside the EU aren't overly benefiting from the arrangement.

"If Russia's brutal war against Ukraine taught us one thing, it is that we are not prepared to defend ourselves," Michael Gahler, of the EU's foreign affairs committee, said in a statement. "We can no longer afford to ignore that and we need to remedy that situation together as we should have done already much earlier."

I thought that was what NATO was for. Perhaps a good strategy could make NATO obsolete. It has long been my opinion that NATO provoked the war in the Balkans to make themselves look like they were needed after the collapse of Communism. It appears to me that the NATO/America-provoked Russian invasion of Ukraine is the same thing - NATO trying to look useful while being a sales instrument for the military-industrial establishment.

European Parliament and European Council negotiators agreed on a budget of nearly $328 million to finance the implementation of the plan. The European Union will contribute up to 20% to each purchase of the estimated value of the common procurement contract.

$328 million is, I believe, just to cover the administration costs, the costs to Europeans will be in the trillions. Surely, something useful could be done with that kind of money.

"We reached a reasonable compromise on this important file. The EP managed to achieve its main objectives, including securing a higher budget for the instrument, while preserving the financing of the equally important Act in Support of Ammunition Production," Zdzislaw Krasnodebski, of the EU's Industry, Research and Energy Committee, said.

"Such outcome guarantees that both programs will ultimately meet the expectations attached to them in the difficult geopolitical circumstances we are currently facing."

If the western world wasn't run by military manufacturing oligarchs, our geopolitical circumstances wouldn't be so difficult.

U.S. announces additional military assistance package for Ukraine

June 27 (UPI) -- The Biden administration on Tuesday announced an additional security package of weapons, munitions and other lethal aid, valued at up to $500 million, for Ukraine as it continues to fight Russia.

The package includes munitions for Patriot air defense systems, 30 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, 25 Stryker Armored Personnel Carriers and ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, better known as HIMARS, as well as Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems and more, according to a list of its contents provided by the Defense Department.

American arms inventories keep moving at American taxpayers' expense, for no conceivable reason. This is a continuation of the wealth transfer from middle-class Americans to wealthy oligarchs, even while Biden promotes Bidenomics which is supposed to increase the wealth of the middle class.

"As we have since the beginning of Russia's illegal and unprovoked invasion, the U.S. will continue to work with our allies and partners to provide Ukraine with capabilities to meet its immediate battlefield needs and longer-term security assistance requirements," Defense Department press secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder told reporters during a press conference.

"Unprovoked"! What was the purpose of the Pentagon financing more than 2 dozen biolabs in Ukraine. No other country in the world had as many biolabs, and why is American military involved in biolabs?

The package's contents will come from U.S. stockpiles, and is the 41st presidential drawdown for Ukraine since August 2021.

Averaging a billion dollars per drawdown.

The United States, which is Ukraine's largest backer in its war against the Kremlin, has repeatedly announced military aid for Kyiv since Russia invaded its neighbor on Feb. 24, 2022. The assistance is covered via the presidential drawdown authority, the Defense Department's Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative and in Foreign Military Financing for Ukraine.

Since the war began, the Biden administration has committed more than $40.5 billion in security assistance for Ukraine, according to the Department of Defense.

"I am sincerely grateful to @POTUS and all [American] people for another $500 million defense assistance package," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy tweeted in appreciation of the package Tuesday.

"Additional Bradley and Stryker armored vehicles, ammunition for HIMARS, Patriots and Stingers will add even more power to the [Ukrainian] Defense Forces. Each package of such assistance is a step towards our common victory over the [Russian] aggressor."

The package was remarked upon by White House principal deputy press secretary Olivia Dalton during a Washington press conference Tuesday, stating that President Biden and Zelensky had spoken on Sunday.

Biden on Monday told reporters in Washington that he and Zelensky have agreed to stay in "constant contact" after Russia's top military brass avoided a revolt by private military company Wagner Group over the weekend.

Wagner personnel, who have been on the frontlines fighting in Ukraine, turned and headed back toward Moscow last weekend over disagreements with the Russian Defense Department about the war, but the potential mutiny ended when the militia's head, Yevgeny Prigozhin, a former Russian President Vladimir Putin ally, reached a deal to live in exile in Belarus.

It is unclear how the development will affect the war, but it revealed signs that Putin's grip on power may be weakening.

Not sure how you could arrive at that conclusion considering that the rebellion lasted less than two days and was completely quelled. Wishful thinking?

Ryder reiterated to reporters Tuesday that they view the situation as "an internal Russian matter" and that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has also reiterated that U.S. support for Ukraine "will not change and that remains our focus."

"As it relates to Ukraine, the war there continues," he said. "Russia's illegal occupation continues, and so we are not going to lose sight of that fact and we're going to continue to work closely with them to provide them with the kinds of capabilities that they need to execute the operation that they planned and that they're conducting."

He said the package announced Monday was not connected to the situation in Russia.

Denmark to spend 143 billion kroner on defence over next decade

BEN HAMILTON
JUNE 29TH, 2023

Bar the odd training exercise in remote areas, Denmark has always hid

its military clout pretty well. But all that will change over the next decade

Expect to see more of this over the next decade (photo: Forsvaret)

Ever got caught behind an armoured vehicle on a country road, or come across a few squaddies at Central Copenhagen Station and wondered why you so rarely see them? Well, Denmark’s military clout is about to become a lot more evident.

As was reported in late May, the government will invest heavily in defence over the next decade: 143 billion kroner. And yesterday, it was confirmed it has the backing of a broad parliamentary majority to do exactly that.

143 billion Danish kroner = about $20 billion USD. That's about 23,000 Danish Kroner for every man woman and child in Denmark.

The spending should mean that by 2030 Denmark will fulfil NATO’s goal of all its members spending 2 percent of their GDP on defence.

Denmark’s Armed Forces will consequently grow, and the country will invest heavily in arms.

And the rich will get richer, and the poor will get poorer.

Deemed necessary in current climate

The increase has been felt necessary in what is becoming an increasingly volatile world – as long as Russia continues to fight the War in Ukraine, it will pose a threat to European security.

Last year, a large majority of Danes voted yes to join the EU’s defence co-operation – ending an opt-out that had stood since 1993.

The government parties had the backing of left bloc duo Radikale and SF, along with the entire blue bloc: Liberal Alliance, Konservative, Danmarksdemokraterne, Dansk Folkeparti and Nye Borgelige. This meant only Enhedslisten and Alternativet stood outside the agreement.

Milestone for Danish defence

Troels Lund Poulsen, the acting defence minister, hailed the agreement as a “milestone” that will provide “a historic and in every way much-needed boost” for Danish defence.

“With the situation resulting from Russia’s attack on Ukraine, it is absolutely crucial there is broad support behind Danish defence and security policy,” he said.

“Russia’s attack on Ukraine has shown us that we can no longer take peace and freedom for granted. There is war in Europe. We take that very seriously. We must show the will and ability to contribute to our common security – in NATO, the EU and with our allies and partners.”

Up to nearly 20 billion by 2032

The agreement promises that Denmark will play a more active role in co-operation on security and defence in the EU, including the union’s military missions and operations.

Earmarked spending includes 27 billion on putting buildings in order, building IT and strengthening personnel over the next ten years, and 11 billion on necessary investments in personnel and materials.

For the remainder of this year, 6.7 billion has been set aside. By 2032, annual spending will amount to 19.2 billion.

Imagine what good things that kind of money could do?

France braces for protests as Macron slams ‘inexcusable’

police shooting of teen driver

French President Emmanuel Macron called the shooting death of a 17-year-old delivery driver by police “inexcusable” and pleaded for calm while justice takes its course. The government heightened the police presence in Paris and other big cities Wednesday after the killing triggered a night of scattered violence.

The death of 17-year-old Nael during a traffic check Tuesday in the Paris suburb of Nanterre elicited nationwide concern and widespread messages of indignation and condolences. French soccer star Kylian Mbappe tweeted: “I hurt for my France.” Nael's surname has not been released by authorities or by his family.

Nael's mother called for a silent march Thursday in his honor on the square where he was killed, while French activists renewed calls to tackle what they see as systemic police abuse. Government officials condemned the killing and sought to distance themselves from the police officer's actions.

“Nothing justifies the death of a young person,” Macron told reporters in Marseille, calling what happened “inexplicable and inexcusable.”

Em - Maybe you should actually find out what exactly happened before you throw your police officers under the bus. I find it hard to believe that a police officer would shoot a child at point blank for no reason at all.

Videos of the incident shared online show two police officers leaning into the driver-side window of a yellow car before the vehicle pulls away as one officer fires into the window. The car is later seen crashed into a post nearby.

The victim, who was driving the car, was wounded by a gunshot and died at the scene, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement. A passenger in the car was briefly detained and released, and police are searching for another passenger who fled.

Anger over the killing spawned unrest in multiple towns around Paris. Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said 31 people were arrested, 24 police officers injured and 40 cars burned in overnight unrest.

The police officer suspected of firing on Nael remains in custody and faces potential manslaughter charges, according to the Nanterre prosecutor's office.

The Nanterre neighborhood where Nael lived remained on edge Wednesday, with police on guard around the regional administration and burned car wreckage and overturned garbage bins still visible in some areas. Bouquets of orange and yellow roses were tied to the post where the car crashed after the shooting, on Nanterre's Nelson Mandela Square.

Speaking to Parliament Wednesday, Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne said, “The shocking images broadcast yesterday show an intervention that clearly appears as not complying with the rules of engagement of our police forces.”

Liz - Can you see what is happening inside the vehicle? Can you hear what is being said? Is the cop guilty without even a trial or a chance to explain? He may be guilty of manslaughter and may deserve to go to prison, but, at least, allow him due process. Don't convict him because the Muslim community has no self-control.

Deadly use of firearms is less common in France than in the United States. Tuesday’s death unleashed anger in Nanterre and other towns, including around housing projects where many residents struggle with poverty and discrimination and feel police abuse is under-punished.

Several people have died or sustained injuries at the hands of French police in recent years, prompting demands for more accountability. France also saw protests against racial profiling and other injustice in the wake of George Floyd’s killing by police in Minnesota.

Macron called for calm and for respect for Nael's loved ones. Asked about police abuses, he said justice should be allowed to run its course.

Interior Minister Darmanin said 1,200 police were deployed overnight and 2,000 would be out in force Wednesday in the Paris region and around other big cities to “maintain order.”

A lawyer for Nael's family, Yassine Bouzrou, told The Associated Press they want the police officer pursued for murder instead of manslaughter, and want the investigation handed to a different region because they fear Nanterre investigators won't be impartial.

This reporter has gone to extraordinary lengths to avoid using the word Islam. This is Islam, and another example of how explosive Islamic hysteria is. France can never be safe with an ever-increasing population of Muslims who can be triggered instantly into furious chaos.

The lawyers rejected a reported statement by the police officers that they believed their lives were in danger because the driver had threatened to run them over.

Mbappe, who grew up in the Paris suburb of Bondy, was among those who were shocked by what happened.

“I hurt for my France. Unacceptable situation. All my thoughts go to the family and loved ones of Nael, this little angel gone much too soon,” he tweeted.

Armenian soldiers killed by Azerbaijani forces in Nagorno-Karabakh

Four Armenian soldiers were killed on Wednesday by Azerbaijani fire in Nagorno-Karabakh, said separatist authorities in the breakaway region, which has been at the centre of a decades-long territorial dispute between the Caucasus enemies.

On Wednesday morning, "units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened artillery fire" on Armenian positions, the Artsakh Defense Army said, adding there were "four servicemen who were killed in action as a result of another provocation by Azerbaijan".

In a later statement the group said that the situation along the border was now "relatively stable".

The news came as the United States mediates three days of new peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in its latest attempt to quell a conflict that has flared repeatedly.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken opened closed-door talks with the adversaries' foreign ministers just outside Washington on Tuesday, in the second such negotiation session he has led in as many months.

Russia has historically been the mediator between the two former Soviet republics but the United States and European Union have been increasingly active as Moscow gets bogged down in its invasion of Ukraine.

Armenia has repeatedly accused Russian peacekeepers of failing to live up to promises to protect ethnic Armenians in line with a 2020 ceasefire negotiated by Moscow after six weeks of fighting left thousands dead.

Russia last week pressed Azerbaijan to let traffic through the Lachin corridor that links Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh -- a predominantly ethnic Armenian area effectively controlled by Yerevan since war during the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The International Committee of the Red Cross said Azerbaijan had blocked access for convoys delivering aid to Karabakh, raising concerns of shortages of food and medicine.

Azerbaijan has insisted that civilians and aid convoys can travel through.

Where is Turkey in this mess? My suspicion is that the newly re-elected Erdogan wants to rebuild the Ottoman Empire while he can and is using Azerbaijan as a proxy to start a war with Armenia, that Christian thorne in the side of Islam.

1. Iraqi Tries to Murder German Woman

“Iraqi migrant arrested for knife attack on woman at bus stop in quaint German village,”

Medforth, June 21, 2023:

A 28-year-old Iraqi national was arrested in Germany on Saturday on suspicion of a knife attack on a woman at a bus stop in broad daylight.

According to a joint statement by the public prosecutor’s office and local police, the incident occurred shortly before noon in Lienzingen, a village with a population of just 2,000 around 40 kilometers northwest of Stuttgart.

A 27-year-old woman, who is understood to have known the victim, was left lying in a pool of blood following the attack. Some bystanders stayed to tend to her injuries and alert the authorities, while others attempted to chase the attacker who fled the scene.

A manhunt involving tracking dogs and a helicopter was authorized by local police, who located and arrested the suspect approximately three hours after the attack.

The victim was taken to the hospital after sustaining knife wounds and is understood to be in a serious but not life-threatening condition, according to investigators.

“There is a suspicion that the 28-year-old tried to kill the woman in the act,” a police statement read….

An Iraqi migrant, living on the German dole, supported by German taxpayers, repays the favor by trying to murder a German woman. She had it coming to her. She is an Infidel, after all, that is, one of the “most vile of created beings.” She was undoubtedly dressed as a Western woman, meaning – for this Muslim – in a come-hither fashion, and so, if she rejected his advances, in his view he had a right to punish, stab, murder her, for leading him on. Poor misunderstood Muslim males should not be mocked, after all.

2. German Girls Molested at Pool By Afghans

In the town of Mönchengladbach, in Germany, a group of young girls at the municipal pool were recently harassed and molested by a group of Afghan Muslims. It happens quite a bit, these attacks on young girls by Muslim males at public swimming pools all over Western Europe. Robert Spencer wrote about this here, and more on this particular fun-filled exercise by Muslims intent on making life unpleasant for young girls – Kuffar whom they think deserve it — can be found here: “Germany: Young girls groped by group of Afghans in public swimming pool,”

Medforth, June 20, 2023:

Unpleasant situations occurred at a public swimming pool in Mönchengladbach: Several young people are said to have harassed and molested a group of young girls there.

As a police spokesman reported on Monday, investigations have been launched against three teenagers (17) and two young adults (19).

The group of young suspects is said to have harassed and molested a group of six girls aged between twelve and 13 years on Sunday afternoon in the ‘Vitusbad’ in Moenchengladbach.

According to the girls’ statements, they were suddenly harassed several times and touched under water from the group of young men while swimming, it was said.

“Who did what in detail of the suspects in the process and how the individual girls were affected is the subject of the police investigation,” the police spokesman said.

All five of the young men were of Afghan origin, he said.

After police recorded the facts, the girls were handed over to the custody of their parents. The suspects, meanwhile, were released after their identities were established and police measures were completed, he said.

The swimming pool issued the young men a ban on entering the premises. The investigations are continuing.

Is that it? These child molesters are only being banned from “entering the premises” of the public pool? They won’t be given jail time for touching — sexually molesting — these young girls? And what is their immigration status? Assuming they are not yet German citizens, why should they not be expelled from Germany, and returned to their picturesque country of origin –Afghanistan – to spend the rest of their lives among people quite like themselves? And if they are nationalized German citizens, why not pass appropriate legislation to strip them of their citizenshp, and once that has been achieved, then deport them?

3. France: Muslim Students Invade Church, Try to Scare Parishioners

Just a few weeks after the controversial case of Muslim prayer practices in schools in Nice (these involved Muslim students at three schools who, without permission, engaged in Muslim prayers during the school day), a new incident involving a group of middle school students took place Tuesday morning June 20 at the Saint Roch church in the east of the city. Robert Spencer wrote about this here, and here is more: “France: Holy water poured away and shouted ‘Allah Akbar’ in a church in Nice,”

Medforth, June 20, 2023:

Around 11 a.m., the teenagers entered the place of worship and doused themselves with holy water before one of them shouted “Allah Akbar” (…).

According to a police source, the teenager’s profile is not believed to belong to any Islamist movement. “It is more of a joke in bad taste,” the source said. However, this is not the first time the group of middle school students has been involved. “The same employee of Anthony Borré confirms that it has been happening repeatedly for a month (…)

What fun to enter a church, splash yourself with what the Infidels call holy water, yell “Allahu akbar” – “Our God is greater [than yours],” and upset, or even scare, any Infidel worshippers who might be in the church. And this practice has been going on “repeatedly” for a month. Did the gendarmes not arrive to arrest these errant schoolboys? Of course not. That would only have made them angry. And making Muslims angry is out of the question.

4. Muslims Beat German Police Officer Nearly To Death

In Germany, a police officer was beaten almost to death by two Turkish brothers. The story can be found here: “‘My upper jaw was detached from my skull’ –German police officer said he wished for death during brutal gang attack that included 13-year-old Syrian,”

by Thomas Brooke, Remix News, June 20, 2023:

A police officer was brutally beaten to within an inch of his life by three assailants while a 13-year-old accomplice watched on in fascination, a German court heard on Monday [June 19]

The Ulm District Court was told how two Turkish brothers, Batuhan B. (24) and Emirkan (18), and a 25-year-old Serbian named Nikola L. indiscriminately attacked their victim, who happened to be a police officer in civilian clothing, in the early hours of Feb. 8 in the city of Ulm.

They are all standing trial for attempted murder.

Prosecutor Janina Möller told the court how the trio approached the man as he walked home from work. They were wearing balaclavas and had the sole objective to “beat up any person” that evening.

The victim reportedly called the police as the group had been behaving suspiciously but had sought to keep his distance before the group engaged in an altercation with him.

“At that moment it was clear to me that I had to take up the fight and had no choice,” the victim told the court.”

A 13-year-old Syrian named Mohammad M. was also with the group, and the prosecution accused the minor of cutting off the victim’s escape route and even striking the victim himself. The case against the minor, however, was dropped by the public prosecutor in May on account of him being under the age of criminal responsibility in Germany at the time of the attack. The age limit is currently 14 years old.

Since there have been quite a number of Muslim malefactors below the age of 14, who then get off scot-free, isn’t it time for the Europeans, taking into account the youth of these criminals, to lower the age of criminal responsibility to, say, twelve?

The police officer suffered several fractures to his head, as well as a broken nose and jaw. He was hospitalized in intensive care for eight days and had to undergo several operations as doctors tried to save his life.

This was a savage, nearly fatal beating. The Muslim young men were out to beat up someone, anyone, as long as he was an Infidel – meaning he deserved it – to a pulp.

That’s today’s snapshot of Muslims in Europe– Iraqis, Afghans, Algerians, Turks – in Germany, France, and Sweden, countries where they have been allowed legally, or managed illegally, to settle, and where they receive generous welfare benefits. Scaring Christian worshippers in a church, sexually molesting girls at a public pool, beating a policeman almost to death — these are just the latest batch of stories about Muslims in Europe that swam into my ken. For every story of Muslim atrocities I posted, I could have posted many hundreds more. This is Europe today. The political and media elites still tell us we must Celebrate Diversity! But no one is doing that, not any longer. The people of Europe instead ask, despairing and de profundis, Why?

Iranian art school students beaten and arrested

for defying headscarf rules

A group of Iranian students, incensed at rules imposed on June 12 requiring female students to wear a maqna’a – a conservative Islamic headscarf in black that covers the head, neck and shoulders – began a sit-in in protest. They also wrote an open letter to the university administration, which said: “We have nothing to say to you except ‘no'.” A number of students were beaten and arrested for taking part in the protest, while also being threatened with suspension and even death. Thousands of people have posted “no” on their social media accounts in solidarity and students at dozens of other universities have published open letters in support of the Tehran art students.

It all started on Monday, June 12, when students at Tehran University of Art received a text message: “Female students must wear a maqna’a starting June 17 if they want to attend university classes.”

The new rule was imposed just days before final exams and the end of the semester. One student we spoke to said students who still refused to wear a headscarf felt “taken hostage” by the strict imposition at exam time. Students began a sit-in and protested against the rule.

The message was a shock to a number of students at the university, a prestigious art school known to be a relatively liberal institution in the Islamic Republic. Since the widespread “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests began in September 2022, many Iranian women have refused to wear any type of Islamic headscarf.

Many students at the Tehran University of Art were active participants in the protest movement, even posting several “revolutionary music clips” on social media during the first days of the protests last September, some of which became anthems of resistance.

“Rise for Woman Life Freedom” a song made by students at the Tehran University of Art became an anthem of the protests.

'This is our only answer to your restrictions, violence and threats: "no"

“V” is a student at the Art University of Tehran who participated in the sit-in against headscarf rules.

Our university, unlike other universities in Iran, has no security checks at the gates. Students can wear the clothes they want to wear, more so than in other universities. When universities reopened after the Covid era, a security check at the main gate was introduced, but there were no real checks or harassment of students for how they dress.

However, a few weeks ago, suddenly more security guards were deployed, including some women who checked the hijab of the female students at the entrance, and the harassment started. When we received the text message that the girls had to wear maqna’a, we understood that the university administration had decided to change the rules. As we learned in the meetings with the university administration, the special representative of the Supreme Leader at our university proposed this change [Editor’s note: Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, has a representative in all university administrations].

Therefore, we have decided to start a sit-in as a peaceful form of resistance. We believe that this is our university and that we will stay here and no one can force us to leave. That night, they started threatening the students who were protesting, then university staff blocked our access to water and toilets. They even took away the food we had ordered online and would not let us eat or drink.

They threatened to kill us with the “Dushka" [Editor’s note: a couple of other students confirmed the administration threatening to use this Soviet-era machine gun that the Islamic Republic has been known to have used against demonstrators] if the strike continues! We ended the strike at 4am the next morning.

According to Iranian activists, dozens of students who had participated in the protest were arrested at home or near the university, and many students were beaten by security forces at the university gates on Saturday.

"V" continues:

That is why we have written this open letter. This is our only answer to your restrictions, violence and threats: ‘no’. This ‘no’ became so popular on social media and received so much attention because I think it's a simple answer that almost everyone in Iran shares against the state. No matter what you say, what you do or how loud you are, we have only one answer for you: ‘no’.

Many Iranians on social media shared a “no” on their social media as a sign of support of Tehran University of Art students.

So far we have been successful. The students are still going to university without headscarves and we are going to our final exams. I am sure if they really want to insist on wearing maqna’a, the students will strike again because we are all determined and united.

All the students arrested so far were released and the students who were beaten were also able to leave the hospital. However, according to our sources in the university, security forces are making a new attempt to intimidate the students by making threatening calls and summoning them for interrogation.

Unfortunately, it looks like two or three dozen students protesting. That's nowhere near enough to take on a government that hates girls anyway.
