Israel’s UN ambassador: Mideast Jews were victims of the ‘real Nakba’

Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan inaugurated an exhibit on Tuesday highlighting the expulsion of Jews from Middle East countries, calling the story of these Jewish refugees the “real Nakba.”

The Palestinians have long used the Arabic term “Nakba,” or catastrophe, to describe Israel’s creation and the resulting displacement of some 700,000 of Palestinian Arabs during the 1948 war initiated by Arab nations to destroy the nascent Jewish state.

Marking the 75th anniversary of the UN’s adoption of a resolution to create Israel, Erdan said that “those who really suffered from ‘Nakba’ following the decision were Jews—almost a million were expelled from Arab countries and Iran.

Since the vote [on Nov. 29, 1947,] which the Arabs rejected, the United Nations has been telling a completely false story about the ‘disaster’ the Palestinians brought upon themselves,” he added.

While the vast majority of Jewish refugees from Arab countries were absorbed into Israel, the United Nations, by contrast, created the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to tend uniquely to Palestinian refugees. Today, the organization recognizes some five million Palestinians as “refugees,” having effectively transformed the status into a hereditary trait applicable only to Palestinians.

“A day after the [partition] decision, Jews were violently and cruelly expelled from Arab countries and Iran. This year, after a long struggle, we managed to place an exhibition with photos that document the story of the real Nakba. I will continue to fight for the truth and against the false narrative that the Palestinians and their supporters spread,” said Erdan.

The exhibit, whose launch also coincides with Wednesday’s Day to Mark the Departure and Expulsion of Jews from Arab Countries, which has been marked annually in Israel since 2014, will run at the UN headquarters in New York City for one week.

More than 100 people rescued after being stranded on huge chunk of ice

that broke free on Minnesota lake while they were fishing

More than 100 people were left stranded after a large ice chunk broke off on a lake in Minnesota on Monday.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office said police and other first responders evacuated the group from Upper Red Lake on Monday morning.

Most of them had been fishing when the large ice chunk broke off.

A statement from the sheriff's office, posted during the rescue, said: 'If you are on the ice and need to evacuate, head towards JR's Corner. There is a temporary ice bridge to get across the open water.'

Northwoods Fish Houses LLC, a company which works at the lake, estimated around 200 people were on the ice chunk after it broke off.

A staff member posted a video to Facebook Live which guessed there was about 60ft of water between the ice chunk and the main ice sheet.

He said that by about 3.20pm, everyone was 'off the lake and all safe'.

November seems a little early to be ice fishing.

Three men rescued from tanker's rudder after 11 days at sea

Nov. 29 (UPI) -- The Spanish Coast guard has rescued three stowaways found sitting on the rudder of a ship after an 11-day journey from Nigeria, Spanish authorities confirmed on Tuesday.

A photo shared on Twitter by Spain's Maritime Safety and Rescue Society shows the three men cramped together on the rudder of the massive oil tanker, less than three feet above the water line.

The Maltese-flagged Alithini II arrived on Monday at the port of Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, one of Spain's Canary Islands after departing from Nigeria.

After they were rescued, the three men were taken to the hospital and treated for dehydration.

Authorities haven't made it clear if the three men were on the rudder for the entire 11-day voyage, which spanned over 2,000 miles.

It's also not clear if the three men will be able to apply for political asylum in Spain.

Despite the danger, the route is a popular one for refugees fleeing war-torn parts of Africa.

Thousands of people attempt to reach the Canary Islands from West Africa each year.

In October 2020, four people stowed away on the rudder of an oil tanker from Lagos, hiding for 10 days before they were discovered as the vessel arrived in Las Palmas.

The U.N.'s International Organization for Migration recorded 1,126 deaths on the route last year, a sharp increase from the year before. The organization says the actual number of deaths is likely much higher.

There are multiple reports of human remains washing ashore along the Atlantic coast of Western Africa or frequently being caught up in the trawl nets of fishing vessels.

Approaching Sodom > Christianity rapidly diminishing in England and Wales

..
When the pre-incarnate Christ visited Abraham before destroying Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham argued for the Lord to abandon the idea of destroying Sodom if there were as few as 10 good people in the city. There weren't. God's angels rescued Lot, his daughters, and briefly, his wife for a total of four.

The numbers of Christians in the western world are dropping precipitously while many professing Christians are being led so far astray they are in danger of Jesus declaring, "depart from Me you wicked evildoers; I never knew you!"

Less than half of England, Wales is Christian for first time in census history

Nov. 29 (UPI) -- The prevalence of Christianity is declining in England and Wales, according to the latest census data from Britain's Office for National Statistics.

Religious identification is an optional part of the survey that about 94% of respondents answered in the 2021 survey, up from about 93% in 2011. Among those, about 46% or 27.5 million people described themselves as Christians. It is the first time a census has reflected less than half of the populations of England and Wales being Christian.

No single religion surpassed Christianity in the survey. The second most common response to the question was "no religion," which accounted for about 37% of answers or 22.2 million people. This represents an increase of 12% over 2011 figures, when about 14 million people said they subscribed to no religion.

Linda Woodhead, a professor from King's College London, said selecting "no religion" does not mean a person does not have a belief system.

"Some will be atheist, a lot will be agnostic -- they just say, 'I don't really know' -- and some will be spiritual and be doing spiritual things," she said to BBC.

Which, if they are not in line with the Bible, would not be a good thing.

The changes in Christianity and "no religion" responses were greatest in Wales, where "Christian" was chosen at a 14% lower rate and "no religion" was chosen at a 14.5% higher rate.

London has the most diverse religious makeup, according to the census. More than 25% of respondents described their religion as one other than Christian.

"One of the most striking things about these census results is how at odds the population is from the state itself," Andrew Copson, chief executive of Humanists U.K., told the Guardian.

"No state in Europe has such a religious setup as we do in terms of law and public policy, while at the same time having such a non-religious population."

Religion was introduced as a voluntary part of the census in 2001. There was an option to write in another religion not listed on the census. The most common write-in answer was "Pagan" with about 74,000 responses. Alevism, an Islamic tradition most common in Turkey, has 26,000 responses and the Indian religion Jainism had 25,000.

"Shamanism" saw the greatest increase in answers among other religions, climbing from 650 to 8,000 in the last decade.

Non-religious write-ins were led by "Agnostic" with 32,000 and "Atheist" with 14,000.

Is this the point of the invasion of Muslims into Europe, to reduce, or even completely annihilate Christianity? Is this left-wing ideology?

'We humiliated ourselves': Sweden’s bid to join NATO

meets continued resistance from Turkey

May 18, 2022, was a big day for Sweden. After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and more than 200 years of non-military alignment, the Nordic country finally broke with tradition and applied for NATO membership along with Finland. But what was supposed to be an easy accession has proven to be anything but a smooth sail. NATO member Turkey has a problem with Sweden, and its patience is wearing thin – with both the country’s humour and its freedom of expression principles.

The ink had barely dried on Finland and Sweden’s joint application letter before Turkey started conditioning their aspiring NATO memberships, saying they posed a threat to its national security and they needed to take more concrete steps if they ever wanted its blessing to join the military alliance.

“Neither country has an open, clear stance against terrorist organisations,” President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said just hours after the application was filed, accusing them of acting as safe havens for Kurdish militant groups such as the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party, PKK. He also demanded they lift an arms export ban imposed on Turkey in 2019 after it launched an offensive in northern Syria targeting the YPG, the Kurdish militia fighting the Islamic State group there.

After signing a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of a NATO summit in June – in which both Finland and Sweden in broad brushstrokes agreed to address Turkey’s concerns surrounding arms exports and its fight against terrorism – Ankara suddenly started getting very specific in its demands.

At first, it issued a long list of “terrorists”, or alleged Kurdish militants, that it insisted the two countries extradite – despite many of them having been granted asylum by the Nordic countries years, or even decades, earlier.

But Turkey’s demands soon grew in numbers, and began focusing more and more on Sweden: Ankara called for a Swedish minister to be fired over his attendance at a pro-PKK party 10 years ago, and went as far as to summon the Swedish ambassador over a TV show poking fun at Erdogan.

Last week, Turkey piled on the pressure even further by calling on Sweden to investigate a Stockholm rally staged by a group it said was sympathetic to the PKK, and during which anti-Erdogan slogans had allegedly been made. It also demanded Sweden identify those who had taken part in the protest – a move which stands in stark contrast to the country’s highly valued freedom of expression principles.

Between a rock and a hard place

Ankara’s growing lists of demands has caught Sweden between a rock and a hard place since its NATO application pretty much stands and falls with Turkey’s approval – any enlargement of the alliance must be ratified by all of its 30 members. Although Hungary remains the only other NATO member that has yet to greenlight Sweden’s (and Finland’s) membership, its Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said its parliament is expected to do so in the beginning of next year.

The overhanging threat posed by Russia has left the tiny nation of 10 million scrambling to live up to Turkey’s tough asks – as far as its democratic values and laws will allow. In September Sweden lifted the arms export ban to Turkey, and in August it agreed to hand over a man whose name featured on Turkey’s “terrorist” list. The Swedish government insisted, however, that the handover was in line with regular legal proceedings, and that the decision to extradite the man had not been influenced by Sweden’s aspirations to join NATO.

‘Self-destructive behaviour’

Critics, however, have accused Swedish officials of bending over backwards to try to please Erdogan personally, especially after Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson’s new government took office in October and vowed to do everything in its power to get Sweden’s application granted. “Kristersson must stop humiliating himself for Turkey,” columnist Alex Schulman wrote in an opinion piece published in Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter earlier this month, pointing to the fact that the new prime minister’s first ever visit outside of the European Union was to … Turkey, on November 8.

“All of a sudden we no longer have any problems with selling arms to Turkey. And all the groups that Turkey has labelled terrorist organisations – well nowadays we feel the same way they do! Yes, we humiliated ourselves, but it was going to be worth it, because this trip was sure to pay off. Kristersson was going to receive a long and warm hug by Erdogan […] and Erdogan was going to tell him: ‘Welcome to NATO my friend’,” Schulman wrote in his sarcastic résumé of Kristersson’s trip which left him, and Sweden, without any type of promises indicating the country was inching any closer to joining NATO.

Schulman also ridiculed Sweden’s Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom insistence on describing Turkey as a “democracy”.

“In three weeks time, Erdogan is coming to Sweden, meaning the humiliation will continue also on Swedish turf. But this time around, Kristersson won’t be the only one humiliated, this time the king will have to bow and the queen hold her tiara in hand before him,” he continued.

“Are we really going to continue this self-destructive behaviour? At some point we need to ask our government to stand up for our country and our values, don’t we?”

An election strategy?

But despite Sweden’s many attempts to try to accommodate Ankara’s taxing requests, Aras Lindh, analyst and programme manager at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs, believes that it will be kept on tenterhooks for a while still.

“Turkey has several reasons to wave its veto card around. All of a sudden, the country has found itself in a favourable negotiation position,” he wrote in a November analysis piece, noting that Turkey has already successfully forced Sweden to adapt to Turkish interests in a way it rarely has before.

But another, and perhaps more important, gain, is how Erdogan could up his chances in next year’s election by continuing to bully Sweden – for his image’s sake.

“Turkey is plagued by a mismanaged economy,” he said, pointing to Turkey’s shrinking GDP and soaring unemployment rate. “The NATO issue would therefore work as a way to shift the focus in the debate, partly by making it become more about lax European states that can’t keep terrorists from the streets, but above all, by getting the conversation to revolve around the strong leader who isn’t afraid of standing up to them.”

‘Good TV’

Aron Lund, a Middle East analyst at the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), agreed.

“Erdogan can paint himself as a strong and important leader that the US, Russia, and a bunch of European countries are all talking about. Not to mention the fact that he got NATO’s secretary-general to travel to Turkey and beg him to let Sweden enter the alliance. It makes for pretty good TV.”

But in the long run, Lund said Turkey has a lot to gain from approving Sweden and Finland’s NATO memberships.

“Militarily, it would be great for Turkey to have them in NATO because it would make the land border between Russia and NATO very long and it would move the focal point of that border and the NATO-Russia tensions that come along with it much, much further north, far away from Turkey.”

Lund, who stressed he was commenting on the Sweden-Turkey issue in a personal capacity rather than as a spokesman for FOI said that it is possible that Erdogan will hand Sweden its much sought-after blessing “near the June elections, or just after they’ve been held”, but that the situation could also be dragged out for much longer.

In the meantime, he said: “Sweden will likely seek to try to keep Erdogan in a good mood as best as it can."

Did Swede's vote to join NATO and give up their precious neutrality? Without a border to Russia, why would they feel the need to join NATO. NATO's aggression puts Sweden more at risk than the risk of Russia invading Sweden. Russia would have to go through Finland first and they are showing that they are not really capable of invading Ukraine successfully.

NATO's attempt to bully Sweden and Finland into joining is an attack on Russia and goes against Europe's agreement with Russia not to work to recruit border countries. NATO and America's determination to crush Russia through the proxy war in Ukraine, and through recruiting border countries, and through the Pentagon's funding of dozens of biolabs near Russia's borders, are pushing Putin too far and too fast. They are creating the least safe environment for Europe since Hitler.

And don't think this will be an inexpensive endeavour for Finland and Sweden. The cost of joining NATO will be the housing of thousands of American troops and kazillions of dollars (American dollars) in American weapons and weapons systems.

Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Kim Jong Un has declared his plans to make North Korea the "world's most powerful" nuclear force in an official order promoting defense science researchers.

Kim made the announcement in an order that was published by the country's only news agency, KCNA, on Saturday.

"Our relentless work to build nuclear forces to firmly defend the dignity and sovereignty of the state and the people by hundreds of millions of units is the greatest and most important revolutionary cause, and its final goal is to seize the world's strongest strategic force, absolute power unprecedented in the century," Kim said in the order.

Kim said that the scientists have developed "the world's most powerful strategic weapon," an intercontinental ballistic missile called Hwaseong-17.

The nuclear warhead, which is theoretically able to reach the United States, was test-fired earlier this month.

The supreme leader praised the scientists for "completing the development of nuclear weapons and making a remarkable leap forward in the development of nuclear weapons."

"The country's firm determination and decisive execution power toward the goal of the world's most powerful military, enormous potential and confident victory are shown to the world," Kim said.

The announcement came after Kim made a second public appearance with his young daughter, raising speculation about his succession.

Funeral of Arye Schupak, 16, murdered by Palestinian Arabs

It’s been another epic week for western hypocrisy. And it’s been another epic week for indifference or worse towards Israel. The two are, of course, intimately connected.

On Wednesday, 16-year-old Aryeh Schupak was murdered and over a dozen others injured, at least one of them critically, when a bomb packed with nails and ball-bearings exploded at a bus stop in Jerusalem. Another remote-controlled bomb went off shortly afterwards at another bus stop in the city.

Schupak, a Canadian, was in Israel as a Yeshiva student.

The Biden administration rushed to condemn the bombings. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that America “stands resolutely with Israel in the face of the terrorist attacks this morning in Jerusalem” and reiterated that “our commitment to Israel’s security is iron-clad”.

This is nauseating humbug. These attacks, like the rest of the terrorist wave against Israelis in recent months, are in large measure the product of relentless Palestinian Authority incitement in its schools and media, as well as its “pay for slay” rewards to terrorists and their families.

Nor are Israeli Jews the only targets of Palestinian terror. On the same day as the bombings, a 17-year-old Israeli Druze, Tiran Fero, who was critically injured in a car crash in Jenin, was abducted from hospital by a mob of Palestinian Arab gunmen, reportedly because they mistakenly thought he was an Israeli soldier.

According to Fero’s family, the terrorists stormed the hospital, disconnected him from his respirator while he was still alive and threw him into a car. His body was retrieved by Israeli and PA security forces and returned to his family the following day.

Given its role in inciting and financing such terror, the Palestinian leadership would be treated as pariahs in any civilised universe. Instead, the Biden administration continues to fund it and treat it as worthy of a state.

The day before the bombings, it emerged that the US had upgraded its relations with the Palestinians by appointing a Special Representative for Palestinian Affairs.

This brand-new position will be filled by Hady Amr, currently the State Department’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Israeli and Palestinian Affairs. Amr’s record includes declaring “I was inspired by the Palestinian intifada”— the terrorist onslaught in which around 1,000 Israelis were murdered or maimed — falsely accusing Israel of “ethnic cleansing” and calling for a deal with Hamas.

Far from an “iron-clad” commitment to Israel’s security, the Biden administration undermines it at every turn.

This week, however, western outrage has not been directed at any of this but at the “hypocrisy” of holding the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This is because Qatar treats gay people appallingly, and team captains were prevented from wearing rainbow LGBT motifs on their armbands in protest.

Yet Qatar is not only a despotic state that denies human rights to everyone. It is also the principal paymaster of Hamas, the Islamist group that runs Gaza as a police state, constantly attempts to murder Israelis and whose charter commits it to annihilate Israel and every Jew in the world.

Every football team, FIFA official and football fan who is taking part in the World Cup and contributing to the billions Qatar is making from hosting the event will have thus made an inescapable contribution to Hamas’s infernal agenda of murdering Israelis and oppressing its own people.

It is unthinkable that any western football team would wear Israel’s flag on their armbands in solidarity with the Israeli victims of Palestinian Arab and Muslim terror. Yet more than 2,200 such attacks have been recorded inside Israel and the disputed territories this year, killing 30 people.

In March, there was a series of shootings, stabbings and car-ramming attacks in Beersheva, Jerusalem, Hadera and Bnei Brak. In April, three civilians were shot dead in the heart of Tel Aviv.

In May, three Israelis were killed and four wounded in an axe attack in the central city of Elad. Last month, an Israeli was shot dead near Kiryat Arba in Judea. Earlier this month, three Israelis were stabbed to death near the Judean city of Ariel.

Last week, there were two shooting attacks in northern Samaria. Last Sunday night, a mass-casualty attack in the same area was averted when a car bomb apparently aimed at an Israeli army watchtower exploded prematurely.

Aryeh Schupak

None of these attacks has merited more than a passing reference in western media, which can be guaranteed to erupt into volcanic condemnation if the Israelis start inflicting many Palestinian casualties in their attempts to prevent further atrocities.

To western liberals, the suffering of Israeli victims at the hands of the Palestinian Arabs is all but invisible. So too is the suffering of Palestinians under their own leaders.

Western liberals appear not to see that Palestinian leaders jail, torture and kill their own people. They don’t see Palestinian attacks on Christians or Druze. They don’t see Hamas throwing gays off roofs to their deaths.

Last month, Ahmad Abu Marhia, a gay 25-year-old Palestinian Arab living under asylum in Israel in fear for his life at the hands of his family and residents of his village, was abducted and beheaded in Hebron.

The liberal media was mostly silent. There were no demonstrations on American campuses. US Ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides tweeted his horror at the murder, but conspicuously failed to say the victim had fled his Palestinian village for sanctuary in Israel because he was gay.

Western liberals have fixed in their heads the falsehood that Palestinians are the oppressed victims of Israel and therefore can do no wrong. In parallel, these liberals have blanked Israel out of their moral universe so that Israelis don’t have the same right to exist as western liberals do themselves.

How can we explain this astounding and shocking mindset?

The history of the Jewish people tells us that when cultures are beset by terrifying forces apparently beyond anyone’s control, Jews are identified as the cause. Pinning the blame on the Jews is how the simple-minded have tried to make sense of incomprehensible threats for generations.

But there’s always a catalyst: the people who actually point the finger at the Jews and incite the mob against them. In the Middle Ages, it was the Church. In the last century, it was Hitler. Today, it’s the Palestinian Arabs.

The common factor is their psychotic demonisation of the Jewish people. Yet there is an even more devastating connection.

War was waged against the Nazis to defend the free world, which was duly saved from invasion, enslavement and tyranny. The war was not waged, however, to save the Jews. Indeed, the west shut its eyes to the extermination of the Jews, of which western leaders were made well aware at the time.

Much of the west regarded Hitler as a monstrous aberration who managed to brainwash the Germans into supporting his psychotic ravings. But in the Middle East, the Palestinian Arabs were Hitler’s legion. They were led by the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, who pledged to exterminate every Jew in the Middle East if Hitler won the war.

Al-Husseini is Mahmoud Abbas’s lauded role model and inspiration. Palestinian propaganda accordingly channels Nazi tropes and images demonising the Jewish people. Yet none of this demonic antisemitism is ever acknowledged by the west. The American government never mentions it. Nor do the British or the Europeans. Instead, the West has internalised the Palestinian demonisation of the Jewish state.

Nazi Germany was defeated. But the paranoid and exterminatory antisemitism that fuelled it is now coursing through the nations that defeated it. Through Palestinian propaganda, what was once confined to Germany has now poisoned much of the west.

That’s why Israel has become a lightning rod for a phenomenon seen throughout history: blaming the Jews for the evils of the world.

This may seem a harsh lesson to learn. But learn it we must.

Melanie wisely avoids talking about the spiritual aspects of antisemitism which can be traced all the way back to Isaac and Ishmail, the sons of Abraham. Ishmail was rejected by both Abraham and God as Abraham's son. While God made Ishmail a great nation, in terms of numbers, He was never with Ishmail the way He was with Isaac. so, they had to invent their own god - Allah - who doesn't actually exist, and Mohammed, his messenger.

How do we know Allah is an invention and not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Because 2000 years ago, God sent His son to suffer and die to pay the penalty for the sins of mankind. Since then, we are set free from the Old Testament Law and live under grace. Mohammed's invented religion tries to put mankind back under the Law, thus negating the Cross of Christ.

God still isn't with Ishmail today as we see so many attempts to annihilate the Jews from the world have failed. So many wars by several countries at once against tiny Israel in the past 75 years have failed miserably. God continues to be with Israel in spite of their rejection of His Son, but Islam flounders time and time again as their fantasy god and his messenger fail them.

Western countries and media conglomerates, which are mostly antisemitic, are godless, left-wing, antireligious fools. They don't believe that they will stand before Jesus Christ one day and give an accounting for all they have done. Their attitude toward Jerusalem, and toward the Christian church will represent their attitude toward God, and they will be treated accordingly.

God is full of grace and mercy, but don't think for one minute that He will want such people with him in Eternity.

Germany: Muslims financed jihad terror with coronavirus aid money

NOV 23, 2022 4:00 PM

Jihad Watch

This is no surprise. Non-Muslims paying for the upkeep of Muslims is a Qur’anic dictate:

“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (Qur’an 9:29).

The caliph Umar said the jizya payments from the dhimmis were the source of the Muslims’ livelihood:

“Narrated Juwairiya bin Qudama at-Tamimi: We said to `Umar bin Al-Khattab, ‘O Chief of the believers! Advise us.’ He said, ‘I advise you to fulfill Allah’s Convention (made with the Dhimmis) as it is the convention of your Prophet and the source of the livelihood of your dependents (i.e. the taxes from the Dhimmis.)’” (Bukhari 4.53.388)

UK jihad preacher Anjem Choudary said in February 2013:

“We are on Jihad Seekers Allowance, We take the Jizya (protection money paid to Muslims by non-Muslims) which is ours anyway. The normal situation is to take money from the Kafir (non-Muslim), isn’t it? So this is normal situation. They give us the money. You work, give us the money. Allah Akbar, we take the money. Hopefully there is no one from the DSS (Department of Social Security) listening. Ah, but you see people will say you are not working. But the normal situation is for you to take money from the Kuffar (non-Muslim) So we take Jihad Seeker’s Allowance.”

Corona aid scam! Raid on Islamists

Islamists financed their terror with German Corona aid money

by Axel Lier and Frank Schneider, Bild,

November 22, 2022

Berlin – Raid on Tuesday morning because of Corona aid fraud. The searches are taking place in six federal states.

Nationwide, 59 objects are searched. According to a police spokesman, the focus is on Berlin. There, the police are in action in the districts of Wedding and Moabit, among other things. There are also raids in Brandenburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Saxony.

In NRW, four apartments in Frechen, Essen, Wuppertal and Ennepetal were searched. The four accused come from Egypt, Tunisia and Syria. The main suspect is said to have spread Islamist content on social media. After investigations at a Berlin bank into Corona Aid fraud, the men in NRW were also caught on.

According to BILD information, the searches are directed against Islamists. It is about the allegation of subsidy fraud. The suspects are said to have wrongly applied for corona aid.

However, the searches are said to be a nationwide operation. According to BILD information, arrest warrants were not executed.

Since June 11, 2020, there has been an investigative group called “Krone” at the Berlin LKA 82. She takes care of fraudulent requests for emergency aid by people from the Islamist spectrum.

Benjamin Jendro, spokesman for the police union in Berlin: “As an international metropolis, the capital is of course also the focus of terrorist networks. It is all the more important to take a very close look when it comes to financial flows within extremist structures. In this specific case, it becomes apparent that there is apparently no shying away from tapping state aid to finance the killing of people.”

Why not? It's their money anyway, right?

Insanity in the UK: Police called, Muslim speaker accused

of ‘Islamophobia’ for referring to 9/11 jihadis as Muslim

Can Britain get more insane? Apparently there is no bottom. What were the 9/11 hijackers? Methodists? Did they suddenly stop being Muslim the moment they began planning their spectacular act of jihad violence?

The 9/11 plotters Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Walid bin Attash, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, Ammar al-Baluchi, and Mustafa al Hawsawi wrote: “We ask to be near to God, we fight you and destroy you and terrorize you. The Jihad in god’s cause is a great duty in our religion.”

They thought they were Muslims.

9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta reminded himself to “shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.”

He thought he was Muslim.

The idea that it is somehow wrong or incorrect to say that the 9/11 terrorists were Muslims is a big shell game played upon Infidels, to intimidate them into thinking that they must not state the obvious, or that the obvious must not be true, and to reinforce the idea that Islam must never be subjected to criticism. And in Britain, the Infidels happily play along. The police were called. Does no one on the Sceptered Isle have any sense of shame anymore, and any ordinary common sense? No one? Not a single solitary soul?

Police called in after teacher cites 9/11 to rebuke pupils in homophobia row

but calls attackers Muslims rather than terrorists

by Ian Gallagher and Abul Taher,
Mail On Sunday,
November 20, 2022

A teacher has been dragged into an extraordinary Islamophobia row after citing 9/11 while rebuking pupils for clashing with a gay Muslim campaigner.

The campaigner, Khakan Qureshi, was invited to Wood Green Academy in Wednesbury, West Midlands, last week to share his experience of coming out.

But in a testy Q&A exchange with sixth-formers, Mr Qureshi faced hostile questioning, with one student asking: ‘Do you agree that being gay and Muslim is wrong?’, and he later received death threats.

Why was that question considered hostile since he was there to share his experience of 'coming out'? The issue would certainly have been a part of his experience.

Angry at the way Mr Qureshi was treated, the teacher later lectured pupils on tolerance.

But it resulted in a furious backlash when he was filmed referring to the September 11 attackers as Muslims rather than terrorists.

In his rebuke, the teacher said: ‘We live in a diverse and tolerant country. We are tolerant of different religions. Twenty-one years ago a group of Muslims smashed aeroplanes into buildings to kill thousands of people. At that stage people stood up and said, “No, we must not condemn Muslims for what a few have done.”

‘Because we are a tolerant society, and that means we may not like some things that you say but you do have the right to say them.’

Police are now investigating death threats and online abuse received by Mr Qureshi. The school is understood to have reported the incident to the counter-extremism programme, Prevent, and – with tensions running high – is liaising with community leaders.

The school serves a large and diverse area of the West Midlands and about half its students are Muslim. A complaint sent to the school by hundreds of pupils and parents said: ‘Why did he use the word Muslims as opposed to terrorists?

Are they stupid? His whole point was to protect Muslims. If that requires lying to students as if the 911 jihadists were not Muslims, then there is no possibility of avoiding condemnation. The truth is the starting point for tolerance. Lies are just a flashpoint for more trouble.

‘He has linked terrorism directly to Muslims and Islam. His tone is extremely aggressive and I struggle to understand how this is considered appropriate behaviour.’ Last night, the teacher declined to comment.

Mr Qureshi, 52, told the MoS that a ‘few hard-core’ pupils did not even let him finish his talk before asking him a barrage of questions. He said that he gave a similar talk in 2020 about being gay and Muslim and was received warmly by pupils.

But this time, he was warned by teachers that he might face a more hostile audience as a number of Muslim pupils had moved to the Academy from a local faith school.

This would indicate that most of the hostility against Qureshi came from Muslim students.

Mr Qureshi said: ‘They kept on saying that you cannot be gay and Muslim, because that contradicts the Qur’an.’…

The school said in a statement: ‘A number of videos are currently being circulated on social media which shows a member of our staff addressing students… While the school has yet to conclude its review of this matter, it is clear that some of the videos have been cropped… We apologise for any upset or distress that has been caused by this incident.’

West Midlands police said: ‘We are working with the school and looking into the content of the videos.’

49 people are sentenced to death for lynching a man they

wrongly accused of starting deadly forest fires in Algeria

An Algerian court has sentenced 49 people to death over the lynching of a man falsely accused of starting deadly forest fires last year.

The victim, 38-year-old painter Djamel Ben Ismail, was under police protection in a police van in August 2021 when a mob dragged him outside, beat him and burnt him to death.

Ben Ismail had turned himself in at a police station upon hearing that he was suspected of arson, at the height of blazes which killed at least 90 people nationwide.

and loves life... not a violent man'

It later emerged that Ben Ismail had headed to the region as a volunteer to help put out the fires.

He had tweeted earlier in the day of his death that he was heading to the scene of the forest fires, 200 miles from his home, to 'give a hand to our friends' fighting the fires.

When he arrived near the town of Larbaa Nath Irathen in the Tizi Ouzou district, one of the worst hit by the fires, a crowd of local residents accused him of being an arsonist, his father said last year.

'My son left to help his brothers from Kabyle, a region he loves. They burned him alive... I'm devastated,' Noureddine Ben Ismail added.

The victim's father was widely praised for calling for calm and 'brotherhood' among Algerians despite his son's murder.

Police officers who intervened to protect and help the victim were also injured, the prosecutor added.

The North African country has maintained a moratorium on carrying out death sentences since its last executions in 1993, indicating the severity of the incident.

A court in Dar El Beida on Thursday 'sentenced 49 people to execution over (Ben Ismail's) murder and mutilation of his body,' the APS news agency reported.

The court also handed 28 other defendants jail terms of two years to a decade without parole, APS said.

After a video was posted of Ben Ismail's lynching online, 'showing the killing of a citizen (burned to death and beaten),' an investigation was launched, with the country's president Abdelmadjid Tebboune requesting authorities to 'shed light' on the killing.

Amnesty International also called on Algerian authorities to immediately investigate the death and 'send a clear message that this violence won't go unpunished.'

Ben Ismail was buried in his hometown of Khemis Miliana, 71 miles west of Algiers.

'Do you realize, even dead they tortured him?' Mohamed Khalfi, Ben Ismail's maternal uncle, told The Associated Press.

'And what hurts me is that the people filmed. I am his uncle and I ask that justice do its job and that even those who watched without doing anything be judged.'

One of Ben Ismail's friends, Rafik, who did not provide his last name, said he was 'an artist, a young man who loves the guitar and loves life... not a violent man.'

The fires were spurred by a blistering heatwave, but authorities also blamed arsonists and 'criminals' for the outbreaks.

They also blamed the independence movement of the Berber-majority region of Kabylie that extends along the Mediterranean coast east of Algiers.

This should go a long ways to quelling Islamic hysteria in Algeria.

This blog has documented numerous cases of Muslim hysteria. Here is one of the worst.

Multiple people were wounded, several critically, after terrorists bomb bus stops in Jerusalem. One victim reportedly succumbed to his injuries. This is a developing story.

By World Israel News Staff

At least 19 people were injured in a pair of terrorist bombings in Jerusalem Wednesday morning.

Bombs went off at bus stops near the city entrance off of Weizmann Boulevard and at Ramot Junction, where three people were reported injured.

Four of the victims of the Weizmann Boulevard bombing are listed in critical condition, with two more in serious condition. All three of the victims of the Ramot bombing are listed in light condition.

The first explosion, near Weizmann Boulevard, was reported at 7:06 a.m.

“We were at the MDA station by the entrance to the city when we heard a large explosion,” MDA paramedics Moshe Tobolsky and Lior Levy said.

“We immediately headed to the scene in large numbers, including ambulances, MICUs and medicycles. two seriously wounded were lying nearby, a 16-year-old in the bus stop and a 45-year-old on the sidewalk. A number of moderately and mildly injured victims were ambulatory on scene. We rapidly conveyed the seriously injured in MICUs to hospital while providing life-saving treatment.”

Shortly afterwards, a second explosion was reported at a bus stop at Ramot Junction.

“While driving in the area on our emergency ‘ambucycles’ we heard the explosion which happened at a bus stop,” United Hatzalah EMTs Dani Shmueli and Yossi Eisenstein said.

“We arrived within mere seconds at the scene and provided assistance to three people who sustained light injuries from shrapnel. A United Hatzalah ambulance evacuated one of the injured to the hospital. United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit has also been dispatched and is treating numerous eyewitnesses for emotional and psychological shock.”

Police believe the attacks were carried out by an organized terror cell.

The teen victim of a Jerusalem terror attack Wednesday morning was identified as Aryeh Schupak, a Canadian citizen who lived in the city’s Har Nof neighborhood and was studying at a yeshiva in Beit Meir, just west of the capital.

At least 19 others were injured, several critically, when two bombs detonated, one after the other, during the morning rush hour – the first at a bus stop at the entrance to the city, where Shechopek was waiting for a ride, and the second on an empty bus at the Ramot junction in the northern end of Jerusalem.

The wounded victims were sent to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek and Hadassah Ein-Kerem hospitals.

The explosive devices had been placed in bags left at the locations. They reportedly were packed with nails, reminiscent of bombs detonated during the Second Intifada.

Police, who said the explosives were of a “high quality,” and security officials are searching the city for more potential explosions as well as for the terrorists. They believe the attacks were carried out by an organized terror cell.

A Palestinian terror cell.

“The main effort of the Israel Police is currently scanning all areas – bus stops, transportation and crowd gatherings, in parallel with the effort of the pursuit in order to get hold of the perpetrator of the attack,” said Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai. “We will do everything in our power together with all the other security forces to get to this cell.”

The funeral began Sunday afternoon at 2:45 and was attended by hundreds. Schupak was buried at the Har Hamenuchot cemetery at the western entrance to Jerusalem.
