France: Six Five Guys restaurants switch to halal beef and stop selling alcohol
And fairly soon, in Islamic France, few people will remember that it was ever any other way. What about non-Muslims who might want a beer and object to halal beef? Who cares about them? Let them move to some other country, away from the domains of Islam.

A new “Halal Information” section has been created on its website to answer customer questions.
A major change has been implemented at Five Guys. “For the past two weeks,” since October 17, six restaurants in the American chain, including the one on Place de Clichy in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, have been serving certified halal beef for their burgers and hot dogs.
In a Q&A published on its French website, Five Guys specifies that “the beef served in the restaurants listed below comes from certified halal suppliers.” These establishments are located in Lyon Part-Dieu, Paris Place de Clichy, Rosny 2, Créteil Soleil, Marseille Vieux-Port, and Lille Rue de Béthune.
Another notable change: these six locations do not sell alcohol, as Five Guys indicates in its new “Halal Information” section.
As if to preempt potential criticism, the brand explains that it wants to “offer [its] Five Guys burgers and fries to as many people as possible.”
And, it's good news for halal butchers, and bad news for ordinary butchers.

A driver screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ ploughed into a crowd of pedestrians on a French holiday island this morning, leaving at least ten people injured.
The car veered towards walkers and cyclists at about 8.45am today as the 35-year-old attacker attempted to hit ‘everyone he encountered’ on the island of Oléron off the West coast of France, officials say.
After the ramming, he tried to set fire to his vehicle, which contained gas cylinders, before he was tasered by police and arrested.
At least ten are injured, with four of them fighting for their lives, including an assistant to MP Pascal Markowsky of the hard-right National Rally party. French terror police and President Emmanuel Macron, who is on his way to Brazil, are monitoring the situation….
Thibault Brechkoff, the mayor of Dolus-d’Oleron, told BFMTV that the man shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’, meaning God is the Greatest in Arabic, during his arrest. He also said the man tried to hit ‘everyone he could encounter’
Police are also examining whether the suspect may have been suffering from mental health problems. French media have indicated that at this stage, the anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office is not involved in the investigation. It has instead said it is monitoring developments….
Reports say the man is not listed in the country’s database used to monitor individuals suspected of radicalisation.
Although the suspect’s motives remain unclear, police and prosecutors are probing the cause. The public prosecutor of Le Rochelle, Arnaud Laraize, confirmed that an investigation for attempted murder has been opened.
A resident is reported to have said: ‘An individual in a vehicle is having fun hitting people in his path, and right here in my window, a pedestrian was hit and injured in Saint Pierre d’Oléron.’

Car ploughs into crowd in France as driver ‘shouts Allahu Akbar’ and leaves at least 10 people injured

A car has been rammed into a crowd on the French island of Ile d’Oleron off the Atlantic coast on Wednesday, leaving two people in a critical condition and a further eight injured.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested by police with an investigation opened on the incident, which took place around 8:45am local time (7.45am GMT).
The suspect is said to have driven between two villages on the island, hitting and mowing down people, including a young girl, the mayor of Dolus d’Oleron, Thibault Brechkoff, told French television.
“No one has died and we are hoping that the injured will recover,” the mayor added.
Public prosecutor of La Rochelle, Arnaud Laraize, told Le Figaro: “At the time of his arrest, (the man) shouted Allah Akbar (Arabic for ‘God is Great’). However, the motive is not confirmed and the investigation will have to determine it.”
Sources close to the criminal investigation said that officers used an electric pulse gun to neutralise the motorist.
“It appeared to be a deliberate act,” the prosecutors’ office admitted. Anti-terrorism officials are understood to “not involved at this stage” and the suspect is not said to be known to counter-terrorism services.
The suspect is said to reside in La Cotiniere, a small fishing village around two miles from Saint-Pierre-d’Oleron….
In Europe, Muslims Are Murdering Apostates and Middle Eastern Christians
People who have fled Muslim countries because they were apostates, Muslims who had abandoned the faith for Christianity, or because they were Middle Eastern Christians who had fled to the West to escape persecution and death are no longer safe in Europe. They are being murdered in what they had hoped would be a secure refuge. Many others are alive only because they are under heavy guard, round-the-clock. The West always likes refugee stories. Not all of them. Not this one. Not the story of a Christian who fled from the East to live and died in the West for believing.
It was 10:30 p.m. when the Assyrian Ashur Sarnaya returned to the apartment he shared with his sister in Lyon, in a quiet neighborhood where public housing stands alongside student campuses, corporate offices, and a few shops. The 45-year-old Iraqi Christian refugee from the Assyrian-Chaldean community was disabled from birth and used a wheelchair. That evening, as usual, he went live on TikTok to talk about his faith. Ashur made his videos in Arabic or Aramaic. During the livestream, Ashur Sarnaya was slit in the throat and lay dying in his wheelchair.
His only pleasure was wandering around the neighborhood, where everyone liked him; his main occupation was sharing his faith on TikTok. For this, he was martyred with machete blows by a coward. He read the Bible and recited Hebrew Psalms-something unthinkable for radical Islamists.
Ashur Sarnaya was killed because he was an Assyrian Christian, who, despite the threats he had received, was determined to discuss his faith on social media. That was enough for a Muslim to slit his throat to silence him.
Sabri B., an Algerian citizen suspected of the murder and linked to ISIS, turned off his phone right after killing Ashur and left Lyon that night, heading for Italy. He passed through Milan, Rome, and then reached Puglia. His escape ended ten days later, in a house in Andria, where another Algerian hosted him.
Investigations now describe in detail the threats Ashur had been subjected to, both online and in person.
We know that the killer, Sabri B., had connected to Ashur’s livestream 30 minutes before the crime, without speaking. Ashur’s livestreams were regularly watched by hostile users. A user claiming to be Palestinian Arab living in Lyon often joined the livestreams, insulting and threatening Sarnaya: “I’m coming, get ready.”
Another, claiming to be Tunisian, asked where the Christian influencer lived, saying he would find him eventually: “We’ll kill you.”
In the summer, someone sent him a message reading: “We know where you are, this won’t continue.” It was accompanied by a photo of Ashur near his home….
Yet despite all these threats, Ashur Sarnaya remained uncowed, and continued to post about his faith on social media.
In Germany, Mina Ahadi, founder of the Council of Ex-Muslims, lives under constant threat for committing “apostasy”-a crime punishable by death in dozens [sic – the real number is ten] of Muslim countries, including many “Western allies.”…
The ten Muslim countries where apostasy is punishable by death include Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Brunel, Somalia, Qatar, and Iran.
The death of this man-who crossed the desert of persecution to reach the promise of a European homeland-becomes a symbol of the crisis of the West. A West that has lost courage and yielded to the blackmail of violence and silence.
We have entered the night of the spirit, the twilight of an identity dissolving as witnesses of faith are struck down in the name of hatred.
If even the broken voice of a refugee in a wheelchair doesn’t shake us, then truly the twilight of the West has already begun-and no one can say they didn’t see it coming.
Melodramatic, this Meotti, but doesn’t he have a point? The Western countries do not stand up at the UN for the right of individuals to apostatize. We don’t protest the murders, and the threats of murders, that have forced apostates from Islam to live in fear even in Europe, with guards surrounding them, for if they do not, they are likely to suffer the ghastly fate of Ashur Sarnaya. Nor do we stand up for the Christians being killed in Muslim countries. The only world leader — as opposed to such NGOs as Open Doors and Christian Solidarity Worldwide — to raise the matter of Christians being murdered is President Trump, who has now threatened military intervention in Nigeria because of that country’s failure to protect its Christian citizens from their Muslim tormentors, especially but not only those in Boko Haram, who for years have been wiping out whole villages of Christians in central and northern Nigeria with impunity.
Fear of an American military operation to “wipe out” — Trump’s words —those Muslims who have been murdering Christians, may finally push the Nigerian government to act. We’ll see how effective the Nigerian army, feeling the pressure from Washington, will be in preventing Nigerian Muslims from murdering Christians, kidnapping their women — Michele Obama spoke out about “our kidnapped girls” in 2016, then dropped the subject, having avoided mentioning that the kidnapped girls were Christians and their kidnappers Muslim — burning down their dwellings, and stealing their livestock. If the army can’t or won’t do this, then Trump’s promise to send in the American military, to devastate the Muslim holy warriors and make the country, the most populous one in Africa, safe for Christians, makes perfect sense.
