So many people in Western Christendom think that all they have to do is say the Sinner’s Prayer once and mean it, and they are saved for all time and Eternity. Matt 25:31-46 gives us a very good glimpse of judgement where Jesus separates the sheep from the goats. He does not separate them on whether or not they said the Sinner’s Prayer, but on their righteousness (v37). Their righteousness requires action and sacrifice for those who are needy.
