Two compatriots of the victim have been in custody since Tuesday: they are father (68) and son (27). Against the duo from Mainz (Rhineland-Palatinate) is determined for attempted manslaughter.

At the beginning of the week, both of them had been opened in the Stöcken district at noon, according to the KRIPO findings. Apparently they ambushed the 27-year-old near his residential address on Ithstrasse.

Armed with knives, they rushed towards the man and stabbed him on the street. Then they fled in a car. With life-threatening wounds in the upper body, among other things, the injured person was brought to a clinic.

Investigators arrested father and son in the Rhineland-Palatinate capital. Alleged background for their act: shortly before, the 27-year-old is said to have separated from the daughter or sister of the accused.

Both are now to be moved to a detention center in Hanover.

SCHIPHOL – Khalid Latif, a Pakistani former cricketer, has been sentenced to twelve years in prison for offering the equivalent of 21,000 euros for the murder of Geert Wilders. He did this from Pakistan in 2018 via a video on the internet, in response to a cartoon competition about the Prophet Mohammed devised by the Member of Parliament.

The court of The Hague, which sat in the extra-secure court at Schiphol, called it “far from inconceivable that someone would feel called to respond to the call.” The sentence corresponds to the prosecutor’s demand at the end of last month.

At the time the video was released, there were protests in Pakistan against the cartoon contest. The court states that the man “added fuel to the fire” with the video. It is also noted that the former cricketer enjoyed “a certain international fame.” The Public Prosecution Service previously mentioned that his call had a wide reach.

No extradition treaty

The Netherlands does not have an extradition treaty with Pakistan, which means that Latif will not be extradited to the Netherlands. Latif did not come to the hearing for the hearing of his case, nor did a lawyer. Wilders was present at both the hearing of the case and the ruling. In response to the verdict, he says that he is “very happy,” but that he will only be really happy when Latif ends up behind bars.

Controlling the narrative in the wake of two teenagers being killed and several more injured in a knife attack allegedly committed by a refugee appears to be a top priority in Germany, with public broadcasters censoring their own reporting and politician scolding the public for “assumptions and speculation”.

A German public broadcaster said this week that omitting the migrant background of a suspected killer was “not censorship, but preservation of democracy”, after watchers pointed out that their coverage seemed to be missing some key facts about a mass stabbing on public transport.

Two people, a 17-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man were killed on a regional train service near the town of Brokstedt on Wednesday, and several more were injured with knife wounds. The alleged perpetrator, a 33-year-old “stateless Palestinian” migrant asylum seeker who had lived in Germany since 2014 was arrested shortly afterwards.

Subsequent to his arrest it was revealed the suspect, Ibrahim A., had worked as an Amazon delivery driver, had several previous convictions, and had only recently been released from pre-trial detention. It is also reported he had threatened people with a knife in 2021. German magazine Focus reports that even Ibrahim’s own lawyer was surprised when the court allowed him to be released from detention on January 19th.

Despite having lived in Germany for nearly a decade, Ibrahim A. was said to speak so little German that an interpreter had to be provided for his post-arrest interrogation.

Yet, according to allegations recorded in German newspaper Bild — the best-selling newspaper in Europe — if German citizens received their news of this deadly attack from some news sources, the mental picture they might build up of the circumstances might be different. The paper notes the reportage of public broadcaster Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) omitted to mention the migration background of the alleged perpetrator.

Some took to social media to complain about this apparent self-censorship, which elicited a response from NDR defending their action possibly more astonishing than the original omission. Responding to one German commenting under an NDR Facebook post, Bild reports, the broadcaster replied that “the origin of the perpetrator is not relevant to the report”.

Further, to bring up the migration background of the alleged killer “leads to discriminatory generalizations or misinterpretations”. While being correct is important to NDR, the reply said, also important is “ridding our pages of racism and xenophobia”.

Not to mention 'truth'! There is no democracy where there is no truth.

Ultimately, they claimed that neutering their own output to cut out immigration facts from crime stories is “not censorship, but preservation of democracy”. NDR later closed replies to their posts, noting they reserved the right to delete replies that violated their rules….

On the night of Friday to Saturday, February 4, two people were arrested in Champigny-sur-Marne, in Île-de-France, for “degradation of private property by fire, carrying a prohibited weapon and apology for terrorism.”

The two individuals were trying to set fire to a garbage can while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” The police intervened around 7:30 p.m. At the sight of the police, one of them, who was holding a knife (a blade of 15 centimeters), tried to get rid of his weapon by throwing it into a trash can.

The other also carried a bladed weapon, a kitchen knife whose blade length is estimated at 10 centimeters. He “continued to invoke the takbir (name given to the Allah Akbar prayer, editor’s note) during his arrest,” a police source told Le Figaro. Both men were taken into custody.

A new review of “Britain’s efforts to stop people becoming terrorists will identify Islamist violence and not Right-wing extremism as the country’s biggest terror threat.” Its author, William Shawcross, reviews “Britain’s efforts to stop people becoming terrorists” and his report  identifies jihad violence “and not Right-wing extremism as the country’s biggest terror threat.” In 2021, Shawcross was appointed independent reviewer of the UK’s deradicalization program, Prevent, which not only catastrophically failed, but was discovered last month to have used taxpayer money to fund jihad organizations and Taliban supporters. The new review carries a measure of hope, but it will be certainly met with furious resistance.

Home Secretary Suella Braverman “is expected to support the review’s call for a back to basics approach which will see renewed efforts to counter the core ideology behind Islamist terrorism.” Unfortunately, there was never a “back to basics” approach to begin with, since authorities viewed normative Islam as a religion of peace. Try testing how peaceful it is regarding insults.

However many Muslims and non-Muslims proclaim Islam to be a religion of peace, there are abundant passages in the Qur’an and Hadith that prove otherwise. Indeed, there are Qur’anic verses that instruct peace, but its chronologically later verses call for war against disbelievers and bloody conquest. Islam’s principle of abrogation dictates that where there is a contradiction, the later verses override the earlier verses.

As the Western world focuses on whatever the mainstream media tells them to focus on, the threat of jihad (stealth and violent) has not abated. It is being virtually ignored. As the West beats itself up over “white supremacy,” leaders have made it easy for Muslim Brotherhood operatives and Islamic supremacists to infiltrate to the highest levels, and for violent jihadists to enter Western countries, thanks to open-door immigration policies. Western leaders tend to be naive and egotistical; many Muslims who have approached Western leaders with a friendly handshake and promises to ‘help’ fight ‘racism’ and radicalization are welcomed and embraced in a spirit of “diversity” and “inclusion.” The Telegraph revealed that “groups funded by Prevent were led by people who allegedly supported the Taliban, defended banned militant Islamist groups and hosted hate preachers.” And these individuals certainly did not ‘look’ the part.

Nonetheless, the apparent willingness of Britain to confront jihad ideology now is a significant shift. It can potentially serve as an example to the entire West, which for years has been brushing aside the ideology behind stealth and violent jihad. It is the ideology that makes its adherents particularly resistant to any deradicalization program. To date, such programs resemble routine Western programs to reduce recidivism, which are completely inept when dealing with the deeply ingrained belief among jihadists that they are doing the work of Allah and  earning rewards in the afterlife.

“Shawcross’s review of the Prevent anti-terrorism programme is expected to argue Islamist terror poses the greatest threat to life and the most casework for MI5.” It looks good theoretically, but any program that any infidel country may attempt to implement to highlight the ideology that drives jihad will be met with swift and vociferous accusations of “Islamophobia.” The Islamophobia subterfuge is a proven, sure-fire way to deflect all attention away from the jihad, and instead to stir up victimology with allegations of breaches of human rights, etc. The mainstream Left-leaning media laps it all up with glee.

When accepted leaders of a religious ideology encourage human shields and jihad summer camp for kids, as seen in the Palestinian “resistance,“ that should alert the West the reality and power of the jihad ideology. Instead, the Palestinian “resistance” has gained worldwide acceptance via sophisticated propaganda campaigns.

Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”

GUJRANWALA: A 12-year-old boy on Wednesday killed his mother over “honour” in Gujranwala’s Satellite town, ARY News reported.

According to details, the incident took place in the neighborhood of Gujranwala’s satellite town, wherein a 12-year-old boy killed his mother over ‘honour’.

In a statement, the police said the deceased was walking down the street, the boy came aboding a gown and opened fire at her leaving her dead on spot while injuring another woman – identified as his aunt.

The injured woman was transferred to nearby hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the 12-year-old boy – who has confessed to the murder….

Whoever put the boy up to it should go to jail on a variety of charges.

According to the police, the girl aged 17 years lived along with her father Sadiq and other family members.

“On Saturday night, Sadiq scolded the victim as she was constantly speaking and chatting over phone despite his objection. Later, in early hours he killed her by strangulation,” said Musheerabad police….

Islamic State claims bomb attack on Iraqi police near Kirkuk

Islamic State claimed responsibility for the killing at least nine Iraqi federal policemen on Sunday in a bomb attack on their convoy near the oil city of Kirkuk, the militant group said on its Telegram channel.

The blast occurred near the village of Safra, some 30 km (20 miles) southwest of Kirkuk in the Kurdistan region, two security sources told Reuters, adding that two other policemen were critically wounded.

The Spaniard, “men”, walk away across the street in this video and do nothing, not even yelling at the criminal to stop. They just watch the destruction of quality crafted miniatures. There are even 2 police cars which arrive and no police jump out to arrest the criminal. 

While it is disappointing that no one confronted him, he is a big man with a big hammer in his hand. Did this threat keep police from stopping him?  Can you imagine if a Christian trashed the Quran and spoke something nasty about Mohammed? There would be hell to pay from both Muslims and the government.

For many years, the armed Palestinian factions have been in the business of forcing others to “sacrifice for the cause.” In the Gaza Strip, for example, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine have for many years been hiding their weapons in and near civilian structures – schools, hospitals, office buildings, apartments – so as to ensure that civilians will also be put at risk if, and when, Israel attacks those weapons hideouts. Of course, Israel does everything it can to warn civilians away from buildings about to be targeted, by emailing, telephoning, and making use of the “knock-on-the-roof” technique. Still, there will always be those who do not leave in time, and despite Israel’s best efforts, there are Palestinian civilians who are wounded and killed.

Another practice of the Palestinians is to recruit minors, filing them with dreams of becoming “shahids” or “martyrs” for the cause of Palestine. More and more parents of such children have been expressing their alarm over this practice; they don’t want their teenage sons to become cannon fodder. 

Nablus residents worried about minors joining clashes with IDF

Some Palestinians in Nablus have expressed concern over the recruitment of minors by armed groups in the city and the nearby Balata Refugee Camp.

Some of the minors have been tasked by the groups, the Lions’ Den and Balata Battalion, with preparing explosive devices that are being used against the soldiers, Palestinian sources said. Others have been armed with rifles.

Preparing explosives for others to use against IDF soldiers is itself a very dangerous task. So is arming these minors with rifles, which will make them even more ready and willing to participate in battles, to fight and die for Palestine. And it also makes them, carrying their rifles, more likely targets of IDF snipers.

The recruitment of minors by Palestinian armed groups is not a new phenomenon. In fact, the practice has existed for decades.

But in recent weeks some residents of Nablus criticized the armed groups for allowing boys aged 15-17 to take part in the clashes with the IDF. The residents also attacked the groups for using the boys to prepare explosive devices and monitor the movements of IDF troops….

A school headmaster from the city said he received complaints from many parents about the “exploitation” of their children by the armed groups. “We are working closely with the families and the Palestinian security services to solve this problem,” he said. “We don’t want to endanger the lives of our children.”

Aside from using teens as weapons against IDF, when teens get 'neutralized' by the IDF, Palestinians use that in their propaganda to show how terrible Jews are for killing Palestinian children.

Terrorists Kill 39 in Two Nigerian Communities, Raze Houses

At least 39 people have been killed in an attack on Malagum 1 and Sokwong communities of Kagoro Chiefdom, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

It was learnt that among those killed, were a man, his wife and son.

Several others were said to be missing while many houses were reportedly burnt.

Earlier reports had put the number of deaths at 28.

However s source in the area said the 11 corpses were discovered in bushes while others died of injuries sustained

A community leader in the area told THISDAY in a telephone chat that the attack occurred on Sunday at about 11pm and lasted for over an hour.

He said there is serious tension in the communities as angry youths were insisting that they be allowed to go into the bushes to search for those missing.

The community leader who pleaded anonymity said he counted eight corpses when he visited Malagun 1 this morning. “I personally saw eight corpses myself this morning in Malagun 1.

“I also counted up to six burnt houses before some youths started to protest and I left immediately because I didn’t want to be caught in any fracas.

This is the community leader?

“But the report that is reaching me now is that 21 corpses were picked in Malagun 1, some people are still missing. Nobody knows where they are.

“It is possible that they could have ran to some other houses or to the bushes for safety”, he said.

He said, “Women were crying following the killing of their children or husbands.

“I know somebody whose father, mother and brother were killed”, said.

He added that the police and operatives of the joint task force had been deployed to the affected places.

According to agency reports, the Council Chairman of Kaura LGA, Mathias Siman, confirmed the incident but said could only confirm the killing of seven people in Sokwong community.

The attacks came barely five days after three people were killed in a similar manner in Malagum 1.

Obviously, 3 is not enough to satisfy the Islamic bloodlust.

The council chairman said almost all the houses in Sokwong Community were completely razed down by the terrorist adding that he was yet to confirm the killings in Malagum 1.

The council chairman called on residents of the areas to remain calm as security agencies were being deployed to carry out investigation in to the attacks .

However, the speaker of Kaura I Legislative Council, Atuk Stephen, according to reports, confirmed that 22 people were killed in the attack on Malagum 1, while eight were said to have been killed in Sokwong.

Atuk described the killings as barbaric and called on the federal government and security agencies to redouble their efforts in curtailing renewed killings in the area.

The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police command, Mohammed Jalige, could not be reached when contacted as his mobile phone was switched off.

Meanwhile the Kaduna state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has condemned the killings.

Joseph Hayab, state chairman of the association, described the action as barbaric and a strategy to scared the people from exercising the rights.

Hayab said urged the government to ensure that those who committed the evil must be fished out and brought to justice.

The statement said, “The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kaduna State Chapter is mourning the death of over 28 innocent defenseless people of the Mallagum community in the Kagoro area who were brutally slaughtered last night.

“This massacre has further proven that the killers of the Southern Kaduna people have not yet been neutralized as claimed.”

“The federal government and the security agencies must not let the killers escape. Those who committed this evil must be fished out, arrested, and brought to face justice.

“These renewed killings may be a strategy to scare the people from exercising their rights and to further increase fear and impoverish them.

“Accordingly, CAN condemn this barbaric act in the strongest terms but appeal for calm, calling on the government and security to rise to the duty of protecting lives and property”.

The case was classified as causing disharmony, disunity, or feelings of enmity, hatred or ill will, or prejudicing the maintenance of harmony or unity, on grounds of religion and misuse of network facilities.

The first is an offence under Section 298A of the Penal Code while the second is a crime under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.

LOME, TOGO — Armed men killed at least 12 civilians in overnight raids on villages in northern Togo, where Islamist militants have staged several attacks, two local activists and a medical source said Friday.

Spared until recently by the jihadi violence that has ravaged its northern neighbors for the better part of the past decade, Togo has over the past two months experienced a spate of attacks.

They are part of a broader spillover of militant violence into coastal West African countries from the landlocked Sahel region. Benin and Ivory Coast have also been targeted in the past year by militants believed to belong to an al-Qaida affiliate.

The overnight raids were the deadliest to hit Togo to date, topping an ambush in May that killed eight soldiers. The al-Qaida-linked Jamaa Nusrat ul-Islam wa al-Muslimin (JNIM), which is based in Mali, claimed responsibility for that attack.

A local rights activist, who asked to not be named for security reasons, said suspected jihadis killed 10 civilians in the village of Sougtangou and 10 in Blamonga, both of which are near the border with Burkina Faso.

Another local activist said suspected jihadis had killed at least 12 civilians and a medical source said the death toll was at least 14. They also spoke on condition of anonymity for security reasons….

The army said Thursday that it had killed a group of civilians, all teenagers, last Saturday night in an airstrike after mistaking them for jihadis.

Abassan (Territoires palestiniens) (AFP) – Seventeen-year-old Istabraq Baraka fell pregnant soon after her wedding in the Gaza Strip. Three months later her husband killed her.

"She died from a severe beating, which caused bleeding on the brain and lungs and broken ribs," said her mother Nazmiya.

Sitting with her husband Suleiman in a garden in Abassan, near the city of Khan Yunis in the south of the Palestinian territory, the 53-year-old talks at lightning speed about last year's killing of one of her two daughters, as well as the loss of an unborn grandchild.

He laments the slow pace of legal proceedings since his daughter's husband handed himself in to the police shortly after the killing.

"The perpetrator admitted his crime, a year and a month until now and nothing's happened," said the 70-year-old.

Femicide is on the rise in Gaza, according to figures from the Women's Centre for Legal Aid and Counselling, a Palestinian civil society group.

The organisation registered six killings and suspicious deaths related to domestic violence in 2019, a figure which rose to 19 the following year.

UN Women said the situation worsened at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, which resulted in the "lockdown of survivors of violence with their abusers".

Ayah Alwakil, a lawyer from the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, said women can consider violence from their husbands normal behaviour in Gaza's patriarchal society, which has been controlled by the Hamas Islamist group since 2007.

"Some women don't know their rights and some others are afraid of going to court, for lack of family support," she added.

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics said 38 percent of women in Gaza faced physical or psychological violence from their husbands in 2019, but Alwakil estimated the true figure to be far higher.

Tied up, left to die

Men convicted of killing their wives can be jailed or face the death penalty. But the sentence is reduced if they commit a so-called "honour killing", in which a relative is murdered because they are deemed to have brought shame to the family.

UN Women says such "outdated and discriminatory laws" impede justice.

Additionally, those seeking to escape domestic violence risk losing their children. If a wife obtains a divorce, custody passes to the ex-husband once a daughter turns 11 or a son reaches nine.

Noha Khaziq, 31, stayed with her abusive husband because they had four children.

He killed her in February.

"Her husband tied her up and left her at home so that she couldn't escape and get out. When he returned she was dead," said her brother Abdelaziz, who shares his sister's green eyes.

"We feel satisfied with the death sentence ruling against the husband, five months after the heinous crime, but we demand the sentence be enforced quickly," said the 28-year-old.

The Khaziq family has not seen Noha's children since she was killed, because custody was granted to their father's relatives.

'Not on women's side'

Fifteen years since the Israeli-led blockade of Gaza began, it is almost impossible for women fleeing violence to leave the Palestinian enclave.

In a territory home to 2.3 million residents, around 40 women are staying in only two specialised refuges.

When AFP visited one of them, a woman with bruises covering one side of her face sat in a corner. She was about to return to her husband, rather than risk losing access to her children.

"The law is not on women's side all the time in the Gaza Strip," said Aziza Elkahlout, a spokeswoman for the social development ministry which runs one of the refuges.

"We thought of opening the safe house because of the injustice women are exposed to," she added, blaming the Israeli blockade for Gaza's dire living conditions.

But such reasoning is inadequate for Suleiman Baraka, who says the authorities are partly responsible for his daughter's killing.

"The government helps the offender because it doesn't take any immediate decisions," said Istabraq's father.

He is reminded of his daughter every time he reaches for his phone, whose screen shows a photo of him with his two girls.

More than a year since Istabraq was killed, he warned that delays in reaching justice only "encourage criminals".

Afghan vice president survives bomb blast, at least 10 killed

Sept. 9 (UPI) -- A bomb in Kabul killed at least 10 people on Wednesday but its target, Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh, survived with minimal injuries.

It was the second assassination attempt against Saleh, a staunch opponent of the Taliban, this year.

Although the Taliban denied responsibility, the Afghan Interior Ministry said the explosives were identical to those used in previous attacks by the Taliban-affiliated Haqqani group.

Saleh, formerly Afghanistan's intelligence chief, sustained burns to his hands and face in the attack on his convoy as it traveled through Kabul, and later said that the blast was so powerful that the windows melted in the car in which he was a passenger.

He added that his son Ebadullah, who was in the vehicle with him, sustained burns. A number of security guards were among at least 15 people injured.

The incident occurred early Wednesday when explosives hidden in a cart by the side of the road detonated as Saleh's convoy passed. The blast destroyed several businesses and homes, and left a large crater in the street.

In July 2019, after Saleh announced his candidacy for vice presidency, he survived an attack in which a car bomb exploded before suicide bombers fought their way to his fourth-floor office in Kabul.

That attack killed 20 of his closest aides, including several family members. Saleh escaped by climbing a ladder to the roof of an adjoining building.

Wednesday's attack came as the first official talks between Afghan officials and the Taliban are under preparation in Doha, Qatar.

The talks are part of a peace deal signed by the United States and Taliban in February, in which the Afghan government did not participate. The agreement called in part for a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan with the understanding that the Taliban would halt bombings in urban centers.

Attacks have continued, without Taliban acknowledgement of responsibility.

The talks have been postponed since February because of disagreement over a prisoner swap, now nearly complete, involving 5,000 Taliban prisoners and 1,000 members of Afghan security forces.-

Panipat, India: On 23 August, unable to find adequate work at his hometown, twenty-eight-year-old Akhlaq, a barber by profession, left his home in Nanauta, 23 kilometres from Saharanpur for Panipat, Haryana.

“We are left with no work due to the lockdown. Our financial condition is worse,” Ikram, brother of Akhlaq told TwoCircles.net.

According to Ikram, as Akhlaq reached Panipat, he sat down to rest for a few minutes in the Kishanpura area. “Two men came and asked his name. As soon as they heard his name they started beating him. After which Akhlaq was left on the road in the injured condition,” Ikram said.

As per Ikram, Akhlaq was feeling thirsty and he knocked on the nearest door to him and asked for water. “But to his surprise, the men in the house dragged him inside and started beating him with wooden sticks. He realized they were the same men who were beating him minutes earlier,” Ikram added.

“There were four men and 2 women in the house,” Akhlaq told his brother Ikram.

“As they saw 786 written on Akhlaq’s hand, they told him we won’t let this be written on your hand and they cut off his right hand with a chainsaw (a machine used to cut heavy logs of wood),” says Ikram.

“He was beaten so badly that he has injuries on every part of his body,” he added.

Ikram said his brother got the numbers 786 tattooed when he was just 15 years old. “We believe in 786. We believe in Allah,” he added.

786 represents the first word in the Quran, meaning, 'In the Name of God'.

Around 5 am, Akhlaq returned to his senses when he found himself lying at a railway station.

Ikram said that he came to know about the incident when an unknown person called him from Panipat. “Akhlaq was taken to the railway station and was thrown on the railway track to portray as if he got injuries in a train accident,” he told.

He was then taken to Panipat Hospital. By the time Ikram arrived at the hospital, S.I Balvaan of GRP Police station was already present. Ikram said that SI told him it’s an accident case. “But seeing his injuries, I waited for him to become stable and asked him about it,” Ikram said.

“The police seem to have already decided to dismiss the case by calling it an accident,” says Ikram.

Akhlaq told his brother about the locality where he was beaten and described the house. Intending to know about the people who had severely beaten his brother, Ikram went to the place and enquired and he came to know that the assailants are from Saini community.

Sainis are a caste in northern India who claim to be descendants of a king, Shurasena, as well as of Krishna and Porus. The Saini community is given representation in government jobs and educational institutes under Other Backward Class (OBC) category in several states. They tend to be either Hindu or Sikh.

According to Ikram, S.I Balvaan called them to the police station but let them go. An FIR has been lodged at Thana Chandni Bagh in Panipat.

“This is a case of kattarpanthi, they cut off his hand because 786 was written on his hand,” Ikram says in anger.

Kattarpanthi can mean either 'orthodox' or 'fanatic'. Obviously, the latter is the case here.

Akhlaq was later referred to Rohtak hospital, where he says they were asked to leave. Ikram is now getting treatment at Nanauta.

Ikram wants justice for his brother and is worried because no one has been arrested till date.

When contacted for comment, S.I Balvaan told TwoCircles.net that the case has been transferred to Chandi Bagh police station and they will investigate it further.

200 police called in after Kurdish protesters abuse female conductor

& force train stoppage in Germany

Around 80 Kurdish demonstrators who were returning from rallies caused a train to be stopped near Hamburg on Thursday. A massive police force was deployed to restore order, with clashes erupting and arrests made.

The trouble on the train started as soon as the people, described as “activists” by the German media, boarded in the town of Luneburg, Lower Saxony. They were all members of a Kurdish youth movement returning from rallies that took place in Hanover, Celle, Uelzen, Lüneburg and Harburg earlier in the day. 

The men, who were reportedly traveling without tickets, became aggressive and abused a female train conductor during a check.

Their behavior prompted the driver to stop the train shortly afterwards not far from the town of Bardowick. The police were called in, with a whopping 200 officers arriving at the scene to calm things down.

But despite their large presence in full riot gear, “many people continued to be uncooperative,” police said. Clashes broke out, in which the Kurds kicked and hit the officers, delivering minor injuries to several of them. 

A number of arrests were made. Several of the most aggressive activists now face charges of assault and resisting police.

When the rest of the protesters had their papers checked, it turned out that a dozen of them didn’t have permission to live in Germany, including three minors.

Germany has a large Kurdish population, estimated at around a million people.

Police in Pakistan arrested a 22-year-old man on September 11 for allegedly murdering his sister after she married for the sixth time, as part of an ‘honour’ killing, in the province of Punjab.

Police in the city of Sargodha had launched an investigation into the alleged murder of 30-year-old Nighat Parveen after her sixth husband, Waseem Amjad, filed a complaint on August 17 with police stating that his wife had been kidnapped, local media reported.

Authorities were able to trace the location from the last call made from Parveen’s mobile phone to her parents' house. After police interrogated the victim's parents, they claimed that she had gone to Islamabad with her friends, as per local media reports.

Later, the police started questioning Parveen’s 22-year-old brother Abdullah Hashim who allegedly confessed to murdering his sister.

Hashim allegedly told police that his sister had become “a source of disgrace” for the family for the past eight years. He added that people in the village had also started questioning the family's “honour” due to Parveen's “character”, Pakistani news outlets reported.

Police say Hashim confessed that when Parveen returned to her parents' home after getting married for the sixth time, he locked her in a room and shot her to death.

According to the police, the brother has been arrested and the weapon used to commit the crime has also been recovered. Police added that a case will be registered against the suspect and he will be presented in court soon, news outlets reported.

Sharing about the incident and the recent cases of abuse against women in Pakistan, tweep @muhammadwajeeh posted: “A brother in Sargodha killed his sister for marrying the sixth time. Violence against women continues and then we ask why Aurat March (Women’s March) takes place in this country.”

Dubai: A young Saudi woman was freed after being held captive by her father for 9 months, thanks to the intervention of the Human Rights Commission (HRC), local media has said.

The young woman was transferred to a shelter home where she is under rehabilitation to regain her physical and mental health under the close follow-up and monitoring of concerned authorities.

Special teams from HRC followed up on the case of the young woman who had been subjected to physical and psychological persecution by her father who confined her in a room of their house. The HRC’s intervention came after the plight of the young woman came to light through social media platforms.

The HRC teams, in coordination with the social protection agencies and security agencies, have immediately taken action to end the suffering of the woman after verifying information shared on social media.

It was found that the woman had been subjected to physical and psychological torture by her father, who had her locked up in a room for almost nine months. It was also revealed that the woman was subjected to inhumane treatment.

Dubai: A man in a remote town of Khyber Pakthunkhwa province of Pakistan reportedly killed five members of his family including two wives, a son, a daughter and a daughter-in-law over a petty dispute.

Police later gunned down the accused in an encounter which also left two policemen injured in Batagram town of Khyber Pakhutkhwa. According to the police, the man identified as Jehanzeb Surkheli had shot dead five people including his two wives, a son, a daughter and a daughter-in-law late on Thursday night. He also took hostage four other family members but they were rescued unhurt after the police encounter.

Initial reports says that the accused was mentally ill and opened fire at his family members after some heated arguments. However, Station House Officer Nisar Ahmed said that more details would be revealed after the investigations.

After killing the family members, the accused reportedly started digging graves in the compound of his house in a bid to bury the dead and warned the residents not to enter the house, according to media reports. Later, when the police arrived at the crime scene, the accused took four hostages to opened fire at the policemen as well when he was asked to surrender. Police also returned the fire killing Surkheli on the spot. Two policemen also got injured during the exchange of fire.

The four people taken hostage by the accused were also rescued released. They were identified as a son, two daughters and a grandson of the alleged killer. Police said that they were waiting for medical report to confirm mental condition of the killer. 

They need not wait. If he was a strong Muslim, he would qualify as mentally ill. Most Pakistanis are strong Muslims:

Muslim Father in Uganda Burns Daughter for Converting to Christianity - War on Christianity

A 24-year-old woman in Uganda was beaten and burned all over her body by her father, a teacher of Islam, when he found out about her conversion to Christianity, according to Morning Star News.

Rehema Kyomuhendo was traveling with her father on a business trip in Uganda and was delayed making the 305 mile trek home due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions.

During this time, Kyomuhendo began listening to Christian programing on the radio and after doing more independent research about the religion, soon accepted it as her newfound faith.

Her father, Sheikh Hussein Byaruhanga Husain, a teacher of Islam, allegedly overheard his daughter’s excitement over her conversion to Christianity and immediately began to beat her—kicking and slapping.

Furious, he even allegedly threatened to kill his own daughter.

In a rage, he reportedly grabbed a jerrican and lit it on fire, taking it to Kyomuhendo’s body and burning her as she screamed in pain. The aunt that the two were staying with at the time rushed to protect her niece and carried her outside, awaiting help from a Christian neighbor.

She was raced to Mbale Regional Referral hospital where she will remain for over a month, according to reports, while being treated for burns all over her body, including on her stomach, neck, back, ribs, and leg.

Even though religious freedom and conversion is legal within Uganda, no police report has been filed, reportedly out of fear for how the Sheikh will react.

Many Muslim communities in the area view preaching or converting to Christianity as a grave offense. This is not an isolated incidence of religious persecution, particularly for Christians.

According to the Open Doors World Watch List for 2020, there are about 260 million Christians that experience high levels of persecution across the top 50 countries on this list.

Uganda does not even rank in the top 50 on this list.

Almost 3,000 Christians have been killed in this past year alone, meaning about 8 Christians are killed every day due to their faith.

Even more Christians have been detained without a trial, arrested, and imprisoned, with over 9,400 churches or Christian buildings attacked.

These last two sentences are global numbers, not just Uganda.
