Ukraine faces legal setback as World Court dismisses multiple of Russia's UN treaty violation cases

Judges at the top UN court on Wednesday found that Russia violated elements 

of a UN anti-terrorism treaty, but declined to rule on allegations brought by Kyiv

that Moscow was responsible for the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines flight

MH17 over eastern Ukraine in 2014.

In the same ruling, judges at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) found that Russia had breached an anti-discrimination treaty by failing to support Ukrainian language education in Crimea after its 2014 annexation of the peninsula.

The decisions were a legal setback for Kyiv. The court rejected Ukraine’s requests to order reparations for both violations and only ordered Russia to comply with the treaties.

Ukraine’s representative Anton Korynevych stressed the judgment was important for Kyiv because it did establish Russia violated international law.

“This is the first time that officially, legally Russia is called a violator of international law,” he told journalists after the ruling.

Ukraine had filed the lawsuit at the ICJ, also known as the World Court, in 2017, accusing Russia of violating an anti-terrorism treaty by funding pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine.

The court’s judges said Moscow violated the UN’s anti-terrorism treaty by not investigating plausible allegations that some funds were sent from Russia to Ukraine to possibly fund terrorist activities.

The 16-judge panel ordered Russia to investigate any plausible allegations of terrorism financing but turned down a request by Kyiv for reparations.

The court declined to rule on the downing of MH17, saying violations of funding terrorism only applied to monetary and financial support, not to supplying weapons or training as alleged by Ukraine.

Ukraine had argued that Russia supplied the missile system that shot down the aircraft, but it had not alleged financial support in that instance.

Putin says it’s impossible to take away Russia’s military gains in Ukraine

In a hearing at the court in The Hague last June, Russia dismissed Ukraine’s allegations that it funded and controlled pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine as fiction and “blatant lies.”

In the case, which has taken almost seven years, Kyiv had accused Russia of equipping and funding pro-Russian forces, including rebels who shot down MH17 in July 2014, killing all 298 passengers and crew.

In November 2022, a Dutch court sentenced two Russians and a Ukrainian in absentia to life imprisonment for their role in the disaster.

In Crimea, Ukraine had said Russia was trying to erase the culture of ethnic Tatars and Ukrainians. The court dismissed all of the claims related to the Tatars but found Moscow did not do enough to support Ukrainian language education.

The court’s judgments are final and without appeal, but it has no way to enforce its rulings.

On Friday, the ICJ will rule in another case in which Ukraine has accused Moscow of falsely applying the 1948 Genocide Convention to justify its Feb. 24, 2022, invasion.

“A person looks at you and then, they’ll give you some stereotype joke. And you’ll say, it’s not a joke it’s something serious that you shouldn’t be saying.

“But then you’ll get, ah we’re Irish, we need to make a laugh out of something. That needs to change within the Irish community. As much as I’m Irish, that’s the one thing that kind of annoys me.”

On October 7, Hamas terrorists stormed into the home of Hadar and Itay Berdichevsky in Kibbutz Kfar Aza, one of the Israeli communities along the Gaza border. Hadar and Itay—both 30 years old—were butchered in their own home.

Miraculously, their 10-month-old twins survived. The babies were found—rescued by the IDF—14 hours later, crying in their cots. Their parents’ bodies lie in pools of blood around them.

Today on Honestly, we’re talking with the twins’ aunt and uncle, Maya and Dvir Rosenfeld, who are now helping raise their orphaned twin nephews. Maya and Dvir also survived the massacre on Kfar Aza that day. They hid in their safe room for more than 24 hours with their own baby boy—holding their hands over his mouth to keep him quiet—as they heard the terrible sounds of their neighborhood being turned into a slaughterhouse around them.

Maya and Dvir flew to L.A. last week to share their family’s story. They’re doing this—even in the midst of mourning the loss of family, even while trying to recover from this unspeakable terror and tragedy—because they cannot understand how there are people who either don’t know, don’t believe, or simply don’t care about what happened that day. Or about the over 100 remaining hostages in Gaza.

There are so many stories from October 7 that need to be told. We’ve told some of them on this show. And still, we’ve barely scratched the surface of what happened that day, of the thousands upon thousands of stories—individual, human stories of horror and tragedy—each one deserving of being shared with the world. 

This one today represents a little light in a sea of darkness. These innocent babies—who will not remember the terror of October 7—represent both senseless tragedy and unbelievable bravery. Both pain and hope. Both ultimate despair and miracle beyond belief. Both death. . . and life.

Islam > Madness, or Spiritual Invasion?

 

Europe is going through some rather desperate convulsions since 2015 when the Muslim invasion began. Europeans have this absurd idea that Muslims will respond to European 'niceness' and learn how to behave in a civilized manner. After all, Europeans would if the situation was reversed.

However, after nearly nine years, Europeans have still not figured out that Muslims are not like Europeans. Muslims see European niceness as nothing less than weakness and stupidity to be taken advantage of. Muslims believe that non-believers owe them a living and are very happy to take advantage of European social assistance generosity. 

There are some very decent Muslims in Europe. On the other hand, there are some very indecent Muslims, like the hundreds of Pakistani adult men who have raped, gang-raped, and abused thousands of young British girls across England. Pakistanis are among the most devout Muslims in the world. They believe it when their Imams say that Islam is at war with unbelievers everywhere. They believe it when Mohammed teaches them in the Quran that when you have an unbelieving girl under your control, you are permitted to rape her, regardless of age.

It's not just Pakistanis, however, who are great dangers to European society. Any Muslim can be triggered into becoming radicalized almost instantly. A cartoon of Mohammed can turn a mild Muslim into a murderer. The mention of someone burning the Quran can turn a mob of ordinary Muslims to hysteria.

Ex-Syrian psychologist, Dr Wafa Sultan stated emphatically that anyone who read the story of Mohammed and believed it, could not possibly emerge a psychologically and mentally healthy person.

On this blog, there are dozens of stories of people, mostly men, who have suddenly switched from mentally healthy Muslims, or non-Muslims, and who read the Quran, and/or the Hadiths, and suddenly and dramatically changed. They almost immediately went out with the intention of killing anyone who did not believe what they themselves did not believe just the week before.

Such spectacular change has little to do with learning something, or being persuaded of something. And, in my humble opinion, reading something cannot suddenly make you mentally ill. There has to be another process happening, and I believe that process is spiritual.

Reading the Christian Bible can change a person as dramatically as reading the Quran. But, the difference is, reading the Bible can make you a far better person, one who wants to save non-believers from an Eternity in Hell. Reading the Quran seems to make Muslims want to murder non-believers and send them to Hell. 

The power in the Bible comes from the Holy Spirit, without which you cannot begin to understand Scripture. Does reading the Quran also employ a spirit? If so, it is definitely not the Holy Spirit or they would not want to kill Christians and Jews. They would not feel entitled to rape European girls and women. 

Their attraction to Hitler, which has been documented, is not just because he was the world's greatest antisemite (although Mohammed, himself, might qualify for that title). But possibly because he had a familiar spirit, a Satanic spirit, possibly Satan himself.

European judges and governments will never see that since they have long abandoned any form of spirituality. The consequence will be that Islam will grow rapidly in Europe while birthrates among European nationals fall precipitously. They will soon control regional and then national governments. They already control Scotland plus several towns and cities in England and France, including London.

It will happen before they know it. While people are still marching in the streets complaining about the AfD, Muslims will be applying Sharia Law in towns and villages in Germany. Your granddaughters will be forced to wear burkas. Your beer halls will be closed down. And you will have yourselves to blame.

I have only had a couple of bonafide visions in my life but one was quite profound. It occurred around 1991 or 92. It was a map of Europe and Asia. The map was alive, crawling with tiny, little, dark creatures. They were moving in unison from north to south, from the Soviet Union which was collapsing into Islam. I suddenly realized that the little dark creatures were demonic spirits abandoning the communist collapse for a new home. Abandoning those godless communists for the people who believed in a false god and a false prophet.

If I were to get an update on that vision, it would probably reveal hordes of little, black, creatures crawling from Islam to Europe. It does not bode well for Europeans.

What else could this chap be but mentally ill? Austrian authorities, denying the existence of jihad and Islamic antisemitism, have no other frame of reference for him.

Rabid, imported anti-Semitism causes horror in Graz: For the first time, a Syrian citizen was reported in Styria for violating the prohibition law. The man had glorified Adolf Hitler and wanted to continue his mass murder of the Jews. So far, the media has not reported the incident.

A Syrian (22) shocked visitors to a hairdressing salon in Graz last Thursday with his aggressive anti-Semitism. The man then ran away. The incident already had legal consequences: the day after, the Syrian citizen was reported because of the ban law. So far, the event has not been reported.

The hairdressing salon is about a ten-minute walk from the main train station. The Syrian citizen Ibrahim (full name known to the editors) had visited him (it?) on his bicycle. There he began to rave loudly about his religion, Islam, and about Adolf Hitler, as eXXpress has learned. The man praised the former dictator of the Third Reich highly for “killing Jews.” Finally, the Syrian declared that he wanted to complete Hitler’s work: the Jews would have to “pay with their blood!”

The suspect then left the salon – without paying. Luckily the hairdresser, an Iraqi, had a camera that recorded everything. The owner immediately filed a report. The Syrian was arrested a day later.

Suspect placed in therapeutic center

Upon request, Dr. Christian Kroschl from the media office of the Graz public prosecutor’s office told eXXpress: “I can basically confirm the facts described. The report was made because of Section 3g of the Prohibition Act and because of fraud.” However, the Syrian is currently not in custody due to his mental state. He was “temporarily placed in a forensic therapeutic center.”

The public prosecutor’s office was unable to provide any information about the accused’s asylum status.

Hitler worship is not uncommon in the Middle East

In recent weeks, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has also encountered wild anti-Semitism and Nazi propaganda as part of its operation in the Gaza Strip. A shop in Gaza that called for the “Knife Intifada” with its range of knives and balaclavas had the descriptive name “Hitler 2” – eXXpress reported. The customers didn’t turn their hearts into a murder pit: “I like Hitler because he was the most anti-Semitic person in history,” one told Reuters. The shop has now been destroyed in the military fighting.

The IDF also came across numerous copies of Hitler’s Mein Kampf.

Hitler was possessed by a powerful demonic spirit, possibly Satan himself. Radicalized Muslims are attracted to him because he was the most antisemitic person in history with the possible exception of Mohammed. Could they have been of the same spirit?

 

Germany: Muslim migrant throws fit in university library, 

kicks books and laptops, demands Sharia

She has been classified as mentally ill, of course. German authorities don’t admit that jihad or the imperative to impose Sharia exist, and so they have to classify those who agitate for either as something. The ranks of the mentally ill are growing in Germany.

Sharia student freaks out in the university library

Frankfurt (Hesse) – She rioted in the venerable law library – and demanded “Sharia”, the Stone Age laws of the Islamists!

OK, Stone Age might be a little hyperbolic, but Dark Ages certainly fits well. 

Shock on the Frankfurt Goethe University campus: Shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday, the library was packed, dozens of students were preparing for exams, and laptops were on the tables everywhere. Suddenly a young woman with a bun, brown coat, scarf and work bag appeared, stood in the middle of the room and shouted: “I’m making an announcement now.” Then she went completely crazy!

An eyewitness: “She screamed for 20 minutes.” There was a lot of confusing stuff there: She shouted that she wanted her student loan back, that she wouldn’t put up with being deported to Morocco “and that we should talk to her judge.”

In the video, which was uploaded to Instagram and later deleted, the sentence can also be heard: “I’m ashamed of what you’re doing here.”

In addition, according to students, she is said to have demanded that Sharia law be put into effect! Background: Sharia law is based on the Koran and applies, for example, in Iran and Saudi Arabia. Homosexuality and sex before marriage are forbidden, women have hardly any rights, lashings and stoning are permitted.

Then she climbed onto the tables and started kicking books and laptops down. Some students still tried to calm her down. She pushed her away.

The university’s security service notified the police at 4:02 p.m., and emergency and rescue services arrived at 4:10 p.m. At 4:23 p.m. the spook was over and the Sharia student was temporarily arrested.

Police spokesman Bintu Lond told BILD: “We confirm that a lady rioted in the university library. Her age is 31, she comes from Bad Homburg and is a former student. She has been taken to a local hospital because she appears to have a mental health problem.”

Goethe University also confirmed the incident, emphasizing: “The security service was on site very quickly and was able to get the woman to leave the building. The university has no further information about identity or background.”

According to eyewitnesses, it took 15 to 20 minutes for the security service to react and rush to help. It’s hard to imagine what could have happened if the Sharia student had been armed.
