Islam - Europe > Archbishop of Canterbury and Pope Francis have no clue what's going on in the world

Archbishop of Canterbury hosts hardline Islamists

for tea and cake

by David Rose, The JC,

The Archbishop of Canterbury welcomed two controversial Muslim leaders to Lambeth Palace for tea and cake last week, including a cleric with close ties to the brutal Iranian regime, the JC can reveal.

Mohammad Ali Shomali, who met Justin Welby, spent five years as the UK representative of the Iranian supreme leader in his role as the head of the Islamic Centre of England (ICE), the London mosque that is currently the subject of a Charity Commission inquiry because of its role in promoting extremism.

Also on the guest list was Mohammed Kozbar, a leader of the Muslim Council of Britain who praised the founder of the Hamas terror group as a “holy warrior”.

Welby posted a gushing message after the event, saying it was a “pleasure to welcome friends”, adding that he had enjoyed “the honest sharing of different perspectives”.

Lord Carlile KC, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, said the Church had to be more careful in choosing its partners for interfaith events, citing the report published earlier this year by Sir William Shawcross on the government’s Prevent programme that is supposed to curb extremism.

He added it was a “serious error of judgment” to engage in discussions with those who have been seen as “apologists” for “extremism”….

What? Did he just pick the first two Mohammads in the phone book? Is Welby completely unaware of what Islam is doing in Africa? The thousands of Christians they murder every year because they are Christian. Does he not know about how Christians are treated in Pakistan or most other Muslim countries? I agree with Lord Carlisle, it was a serious lapse in judgement.

Pope condemns 'alarmist propaganda' over influx of migrants

into Europe

Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Pope Francis on Saturday condemned "alarmist propaganda" surrounding the influx of North African and Middle Eastern migrants into European countries while wrapping up a two-day French tour.

During a speech at a religious conference in the port city of Marseille, the spiritual leader of the Roman Catholic Church called on policymakers to embrace asylum seekers instead of "fueling people's fears."

So, the Pope doesn't want us to tell young women and girls to beware of Muslim migrants who rape them. Rape and gang rape have exploded in numbers and in brutality commensurate with the explosion of Muslim migrants into Europe.

Francis scolded world leaders during a 35-minute address by urging lawmakers to reject the "fanaticism of indifference" and work to find better solutions, saying it was a moral obligation to welcome migrants.

Can the Pope not see that the overrunning of Europe by Muslim migrants will result in the complete destruction of Christianity in this century? As head of the Catholic Church, he should be concerned about that and concerned about God's view of that.

Yes, we have an obligation to help the poor, but the Sermon on the Mount was never meant to address the needs of millions of people in a very short period of time. Christian countries have much blame and shame for how they treated Africans, Indians, and Latin Americans over the past few hundred years. Such treatment created the situation Europe and America are facing today and we have been left to sort out the problem. But it must be sorted out by investment in Africa, India, and Latin America, not by inviting everyone in.

"Those who risk their lives at sea do not invade, they are seeking welcome, they are seeking life," Francis said during the conclusion of a summit on migration attended by Catholic faithful from more than 30 countries.

And yet, they are not willing to leave their failed religion behind in their failed countries.

"As for the emergency, the phenomenon of migration is not so much a short-term urgency, always good for fueling alarmist propaganda, but a reality of our times, a process that involves three continents around the Mediterranean and that must be governed with wise foresight," he said.

The the 86-year-old pontiff acknowledged the enormity of the crisis but said the rhetoric was putting human rights at stake. He warned there would be greater consequences unless world leaders changed their approach.

There will be greater consequence no matter what. If Europe continues to allow Muslim migrants in at the current rate, our granddaughters and great granddaughters will be wearing hijab or burqas and have to be invisible in public. They will be married in their teens and slaves to their husbands and brothers. Can the Pope not see that?

"Merely crying 'enough!' is to close our eyes; attempting now to 'save ourselves' will turn into tragedy tomorrow," he warned. "Future generations will thank us if we were able to create the conditions for a necessary integration."

Future generations of girls will curse us for acquiescing to Islam. Look at the life of girls in any Muslim country - the more devout the country, the more miserable the lives of girls and women.

The pope's trip to Marseille came after France announced it would not grant sanctuary to the flood of migrants who arrived in Italy from North Africa earlier this month.

Ahead of the visit, far-right politicians slammed the pontiff for weighing in on the European migration, but in his speech, Francis defended his position, saying the church traditionally stood with migrants.

The church traditionally stood with Christians. Why aren't the Muslim migrants going to Muslim countries? Why aren't Muslim countries throwing open their doors to save their own?

"This situation is not a novelty of recent years, and this pope who came from the other side of the world is not the first to warn of it with urgency and concern," Francis said to cheers. "The church has been speaking about it in heartfelt tones for more than 50 years."

Why doesn't the Pope tell us how God feels about this situation?
