Islamic scholar: ‘The greater jihad is jihad by the holy Quran.

We should raid the European countries, raid America’

AUG 5, 2023 5:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER

After the call to Islam comes the armed conflict. Qur’an 16:125 tells Muslims: “Call them to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching.” In a hadith, Muhammad has been depicted as telling Muslims to follow up the “invitation,” if refused, with a second invitation asking non-Muslims to enter the Islamic social order as dhimmis, with institutionalized second-class status; or if they refuse both, to go to war with them:

“Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war…When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them…. If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them.” (Sahih Muslim 4294)

Indian Islamic Scholar Salman Husaini El-Nadwi Of IUMS Board Of Trustees:

We Must Engage In Jihad By Means Of The Quran, ‘Raid’ Europe, America

And Call People To Islam In Every City, Village, Home

MEMRI, July 22, 2023:

Indian Islamic scholar Salman Husaini El-Nadwi, who is a member of the IUMS Board of Trustees, said in an address posted to the IUMS’s YouTube channel on July 22, 2023 that the Muslims should wage “Jihad by means of the Quran” and follow the example of the Prophet Muhammad, who called people to Islam instead of condemning the corrupt, malicious, and criminal “media”. El-Nadwi said that Muslims should “raid” European countries, America, and all the countries of the world and that they should recite, explain, and sell the Quran in these places. He added: “Inshallah, we will overcome them. We shall raid them in their own turf, by means of Allah’s book.”

Salman Husaini El-Nadwi“The Muslims, the Prophet Muhammad, and his dignified companions had to face [similar] intense enmity. They had to face the corrupt, malicious, and criminal media in Mecca.

“What did the Prophet Muhammad do with regard to this corrupt, malicious, and criminal media? The [Muslims] did not condemn, denounce, and utter profanities.

“Therefore, we should fulfill our duty by calling people to join Islam, in every city, village, neighborhood, and home. We must engage in Islamic da’wa, and educate people about Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. We must engage in Jihad by means of the Quran.

“The greater Jihad is Jihad by means of the holy Quran. This means that we should raid the European countries, raid America, raid all the countries of the world, raid all the continents, by means of the holy Quran. Raiding by means of the Quran, Jihad by means of the Quran, Quranic da’wa by means of the Quran, reciting the Quran, explaining the Quran, and selling copies of the Quran at universities, colleges, schools, social gatherings and functions, everywhere…

Park permit pulled for Toronto Eritrean festival after clashes

send 9 to hospital

The permit for a festival celebrating Toronto's Eritrean community in a west end park was revoked by the city Saturday night after violence erupted earlier in the day. Participants clashed with demonstrators in exchanges that sent at least nine people to hospital.

Eight people have non-life-threatening injuries while one person has serious injuries after being stabbed, police said in a tweet. Police did not say how the eight people were injured.

City police ultimately deployed the riot squad to Earlscourt Park in the city's west end, where Festival Eritrea descended into chaos almost from the start. Skirmishes first broke out at around 10 a.m. and tensions continued throughout the day.

As of 10 p.m. Saturday the city revoked the festival's permit for Earlscourt Park in the interest of public safety, meaning it won't be allowed to proceed, according to a statement from Russell Baker, Toronto's manager of media relations. Baker said the permit was originally granted for Saturday to Monday.

"The City is working with the event organizers to address the impact this may have on festival attendees and activities. The City does not tolerate or condone violence of any kind," Baker said.

Lambros Kyriakakos, a co-organizer of the event, said the city's decision was disappointing.

"Basically what they're telling us is that when you have a peaceful gathering, and somebody comes and hits you and injures nine people and threatens to hit and hurt and terrorize children and the elderly," Kyriakakos said. "He has the right and the power to stop an event."

Nine people were taken to hospital after Toronto police said a fight broke out at Earlscourt Park. The violence happened after a group of protesters turned up at an Eritrean festival.

He says another festival event slated for Sunday night at a Toronto hotel will go ahead as planned, as of Sunday morning.

In response to Kyriakakos's criticism, a city spokesperson reaffirmed that the permit was revoked in the interest of public safety and said the city is committed to providing a safe environment at Toronto's parks.

Protesters were demonstrating against festival

Protesters, Eritrean themselves, said they showed up to demonstrate against the festival, which they said supports the government of Eritrea.

But Yordanos Tesfamariam, Eritrea Festival organizer, disputed that claim.

"It's a lie, it's a fabricated lie," Tesfamariam told CBC News.

Eritrea has been described by human rights groups as one of the world's most repressive countries. Since winning independence from Ethiopia three decades ago, the small Horn of Africa nation has been led by President Isaias Afwerki, who has never held an election. Millions of residents have fled the country to avoid conditions including forced military conscription.

Rora Asgodom said the protesters were "lighting things on fire" and destroying other things that had been set up for the festival.

"We had multiple people going to the hospital, being bandaged up for bleeding and things like that," Asgodom said.

Texas: Muslima migrant who stabbed man in revenge for

Soleimani killing gets probation because she is mentally ill

This would be a great deal more convincing if we didn’t hear that so very many obvious jihadis were mentally ill.

College student who stabbed her blind date in revenge for US killing of

Iranian commander gets probation

by Alyssa Guzman, New York Post, August 4, 2023:

A college student was given three years probation for stabbing her blind date at a Las Vegas-area hotel in retaliation for a deadly US drone strike that targeted an Iranian commander.
Nika Nikoubin, 23, was indicted on attempted murder and other charges for stabbing her Plenty of Fish dating app partner, Daniel Trevino, in the neck while they had sex in a hotel room in March 2022.
She pleaded guilty to two counts of false imprisonment with the use of a deadly weapon.

Judge Carli Kierny cited Nikoubin’s mental health struggles as a reason that she was offered probation in Texas, 8 News Now reported. The young woman suffered from severe depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Her lawyer said the stabbing incident was a psychotic episode….

Nikoubin and Trevino met on the dating app and decided to get a room at the hotel together. While having sex, the Texas student blinded Trevino before stabbing him in the neck.

Nikoubin, who came to the US from Iran at the age of 12, told law enforcement officials she’d stabbed her date with a pink kitchen knife for revenge over the death of Qasem Soleimani in 2020, adding she stabbed Trevino out of “spite and revenge.”

Was there a kitchen knife in the hotel room? Were they having sex in the kitchen? Did she bring the knife on her date?

“I mean the U.S. killed Soleimani. Lots of blood spilled, so, I feel like, it’s fair that American blood be spilled,” she said at the time.

“We were drinking a little bit and then — I guess we started to get into it and then I stabbed him,” Nikoubin says in the footage, obtained by KLAS.

She also claimed she did not want to kill Trevino, only “hurt” him….

Targeting the neck is not what you do when you don't want to kill somebody.

I have no doubt that she was mentally ill. All devout Muslims are mentally ill. Does that mean they should be loosed on society?

Palestinian shooting attack in downtown Tel Aviv

kills Israeli security guard

by Julia Frankel, Associated Press, August 5, 2023:

JERUSALEM (AP) A Palestinian gunman on Saturday opened fire in central Tel Aviv, killing an Israeli security guard before he was shot and killed by police, authorities said.

The attack came a day after a settler rampage in the occupied West Bank killed one Palestinian, deepening the spiral of violence that has gripped the region for the past year and a half.

Late Saturday, officials from Ichilov Hospital identified the Tel Aviv security guard who was killed as 42-year-old Chen Amir. Police identified the gunman as 27-year-old Kamel Abu Bakr, from a village near the flashpoint city of Jenin in the northern West Bank….

lsraeli police said that Amir and another officer noticed Bakr, and, believing he was acting suspiciously, approached him. They said Bakr then opened fire, gravely wounding Amir. After a short chase, an inspector shot Bakr.

Both Amir and Bakr later died at Ichilov Hospital, according to hospital officials. Amir was married and had three daughters, hospital officials said.

Amateur video circulated online of Bakr vowing that armed resistance was “the only path.” Israel’s internal security agency said that Bakr had been wanted for the past six months….

The Palestinian militant groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad both issued statements praising the attack….
