Scotland elects far-Left Muslim as new leader

Leftists everywhere, as drunk as ever on identity politics, are celebrating this, and that’s fine. There will certainly be many, many more Muslim officials in the UK after Hamza Yousaf, and eventually there will be only Muslim officials. But Yousaf himself is likely only to exacerbate divisions in Britain, and certainly, nothing will be done to stem the tide of mass migration. Note also that only Western countries have to prove they’re not racist and celebrate diversity in this way. No one expects Pakistan to elect a Scots Christian prime minister.

I'm a little confused about the term far-left Muslim, especially from Pakistan. They tend to be pretty strong followers of the Quran which is by no means far-left. It is Pakistani immigrants who lead the way in grooming and gang-raping little British girls because the Quran gives them permission to do so.

Scotland’s new leader, Hamza Yousaf, is pro-independence and Muslim

by William Booth,
Washington Post, March 27, 2023:

LONDON — Humza Yousaf, the grandson of a Pakistani immigrant who arrived barely speaking English to work in a sewing machine factory in Glasgow, was named as the new leader of the Scottish National Party on Monday.

Because of his party’s majority, Yousaf will be almost certainly be chosen as first minister — the leader — of Scotland by the Parliament on Tuesday.

At age 37, Yousaf will be the youngest first minister of Scotland and the first Muslim to run the nation. His mother, wearing a headscarf, dabbed a tear as he spoke after the vote results were announced.

His ascension as Scottish leader comes alongside the premiership of Rishi Sunak, a Hindu, whose parents are also South Asian. London’s mayor is Sadiq Khan, a Muslim and son of Pakistani immigrants. Today, Sunak, Khan and Yousaf are three of the most prominent — and powerful — leaders in Britain.

And don't forget Suella Braverman, probably the best Home Secretary in this century.

He promised Monday to continue his party’s push to leave the United Kingdom and become a fully independent nation. “We will be the generation that delivers independence,” he vowed. But the way forward is unclear….

Feed him some haggis, and let's hear his brogue. I just hope I don't ever have to watch Scots men in kilts praying to Allah with their faces on the ground and their bums in the air.
