Britain’s policy of appeasement and submission has enabled the supporters of jihad to become bolder and bolder. Do British authorities think that by demonizing forces of freedom and banning Robert Spencer and me from the country that they will keep these 1.5 million Muslims (and there are almost certainly more than that) happy and make them good citizens? If so, they’re in for a very rude awakening.

A Mirror poll showing that 1.5 million Brits see themselves as supporters of ISIS has sparked swift responses from Muslim leaders.

Muslim leaders have responded to the Mirror’s disturbing poll showing that 1.5 million Brits identified as supporters of the brutal so-called Islamic State.

One prominent leader has even said Muslims here may be disenfranchised with new Tory policies which are turning them to have sympathies for IS and their belief system.

Pollsters ICM found that opposition to IS has hardened during twelve months of barbaric atrocities, with 80% of British people now having a “very unfavourable” view of them compared with 45% last July.

But, staggeringly, the poll of 2,016 British adults taken over the weekend also found that support for the terror group was up by 2%, to 9%.

It found that 3% have a “very favourable view”, up 1% from a year ago – suggesting that around half of Britain’s three million Muslims could be ISIS sympathisers. Another 6% admitted having a “somewhat favourable” view, up from five per cent last year….

Note the trends identified by Dr Peter Hammond for Muslim influence on European countries by percentage of population. Britain is now at, at least, 5%, and with half of them IS supporters, expect them to behave like a lot more than 5% on Dr Hammond's scale.

Yesterday in Paris a man turned over tables in a restaurant shouting that it was Ramadan, and they shouldn't be eating. Didn't matter that they weren't Muslim. Muslims expect non-Muslims to behave like Muslims. We see that in parts of London where Sharia patrols attempt, peacefully, to convince Brits to dress more modestly and behave more conservatively in their area of town. They are peaceful now but for how long?

Metropolitan France consists of somewhere between 6 and 11% Muslims, so they are a ways ahead of the UK on Hammond's scale. But watch what happens in France, for it will soon follow in the UK. 

Note that the population of France, which just hit 65 million is still growing in spite of a birthrate among ethnic French that is well below 2 children per family. It is because Muslim birthrates are much higher, consequently, the growth in the percentage of France that is Muslim is increasing rapidly.

Now at least one study has shown that about 2/3rds of France's Muslims don't actually practice their faith. That, however, is a meaningless stat. We have seen in Britain that younger generation Muslims are much more religious and militant than their parents. France could very quickly become overrun with militant Muslims. In fact, I would bet on it happening.

16 Cars Torched Overnight in Malmo, Swedish Police Puzzled for Motive

Sixteen cars have been set alight overnight in Malmo, taking the total number of arson attacks in the Swedish city to over 70 since July 1. Despite calling in reinforcements, police still have not been able to catch any of the perpetrators.

The vehicles were torched at various locations around the city, with the first reports of arson attacks taking place at 20:00 local time. Within an hour nine cars were left burnt out in various neighborhoods. 

“All our stations are overloaded and the whole of the Malmo force is out extinguishing the car fires,” fire commander Magnus Johansson told SVT. “It is a burden for our organization, but also for other people who really need our help,” he added.

The burning of cars continued into the early hours of Friday morning, with a further 11 vehicles torched. A total of nine neighborhoods were affected by the arson attacks.

“This kind of pace [of attacks] won’t be sustained indefinitely,” Southern Sweden Police information officer Calle Persson told the TT news agency, as cited by the Local.

Persson added that no disturbances were reported around the locations where the vehicles were set alight, leaving the police scratching their heads about why the spate of arson attacks are taking place.

“A lot of cars have been burned in a short time now. We don’t know why it’s happening right now. We haven’t had any major social unrest,” Malmo police spokesperson Ewa-Gun Westford said, according to the TT agency.

Over 70 cars have now been targeted in arson attacks since July and the city’s police have drafted in a helicopter from Gothenburg to try and help them capture those committing the crimes. So far police have not made any arrests.

Arson attacks have not only taken place on cars. In April, an Arab school in the city was set on fire by arsonists. The perpetrator almost ran over police in his vehicle as he attempted to flee the scene. The school was opened in 1996, with around 300 children attending the learning facility.

Meanwhile in late July, an explosion at an apartment block rocked the center of Malmo. However, the cause of the blast was unclear. 

The city’s police commissioner Mats Karlsson spoke to the Local in the wake of the explosion and said the authorities were “not been able to see any connection to terrorism.”

"It is unclear who is using that apartment, because it is not the people who are registered at the address, but we have an idea of who it might be. It is still very serious, but these incidents are criminals attacking criminals, it's not something directed at outsiders, at ordinary people," he said.

Nevertheless, it was the 31st explosion in Malmo this year. 

In July 2015, Malmo was rocked by four grenade attacks in the space of a week, which continued a pattern of explosions, shootings and arson attacks which had affected Sweden’s third-largest city. Gang violence was once again blamed for these incidents. 

Gang violence is a pretty ambiguous term. What kind of gangs? Criminal gangs, Muslim gangs, right wing extremists? Police have had over a year to get a grip on this and they, apparently, still have no idea who is doing it. Maybe the police need some serious help.

According to statistics provided by the local authorities in 2015, 31 percent of the city’s 300,000 residents were born abroad and nearly 43 percent of residents have a foreign background.

Immigrants have normally come from countries that have been plagued by conflicts, with sizeable migrant groups from Iraq, Syria, the former Yugoslavia and Somalia. Data from the city’s authorities also states that around 20 percent of Malmo’s population is Muslim.

This is from Peter Hammond's book Slavery, Terrorism and Islam. It is a compilation of observations Hammond has made with reference to the percentage of Muslims living in a given country. It may also be somewhat relevant to city populations:

With Malmo being a city not a country, it would appear that they may be functioning at a level closer to 10%. Nevertheless, the 20% level may give us a glimpse of what is coming if massive immigration of Muslims continues.

Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson called together the armed forces and police to tackle rising gang violence on Monday, blaming it on "failed integration."

Authorities pointed to 11 deaths over the past month connected to gang violence as a reason to take such measures. On Thursday, two men were shot in separate crimes near Stockholm while a 25-year-old woman was killed near Uppsala.

"We're going to hunt down the gangs and we're going to defeat them," Kristersson said during a nationally televised address Thursday evening. "It is a difficult time for Sweden."

You are going to defeat them, and then what? Your judges will slap them on the wrist and throw them back out onto the streets and the situation will be worse than ever.

"I cannot stress enough how serious the situation is," he said. "Sweden has never seen anything like this before. No other country in Europe sees anything like it."

It has to do with the percentage of Muslims in Swedish society.

He blamed the increase on "irresponsible immigration policy" and "failed integration," along with "political naivety," for the rise of gang violence, but said Sweden will now take a different approach to tackle the issue.

Sweden's armed forces chief Micael Byden said he is ready to help local police, but it is not clear how they would participate.

Kristersson's opponents have said that bringing in the military ignores tackling the root cause of the violence. Reports said the uptick in violence stems from the gang network Foxtrot breaking into two rival gangs after infighting.

Police said the violence also has its roots into the poor integration of immigrants, a widening gap between rich and poor, and drug use.

The root cause is, of course, the absurdly open doors policy of letting in thousands of unvetted muslim men and boys with no cohesive way of melding them into Swedish society. 

The US Department of State's Sweden 2022 International Religious Freedom Report set the 2016 figure at around 8.1% (almost 800,000) of the total Swedish population. 

Today, that would certainly be around one million, or 10% of the population. This is a dangerous number on Dr. Hammond's Scale. Remember, these numbers a national, Muslims tend to gather together so that there are dozens of communities where the Muslim population is well above 20%. These are NoGo Zones in Sweden.

For most of the 20th century, Sweden was held up as the very model of a modern welfare state: prosperous and peaceful, a example of social cohesion that was the product not of “diversity,” but of the very lack of “diversity.” That homogeneous Sweden is no longer. 

In Sweden, elderly residents of a “nursing home for the demented” in Eslöv have been eating dry porridge because there is not enough money for the home to buy milk. The Swedish government has had to divert ever more of its resources from welfare for the elderly and poor to welfare for the Muslim economic migrants who have been flooding into Sweden. Elderly residents at a dementia home in Sweden are being served porridge without milk for breakfast due to a lack of funds, despite the governing municipality only recently finding the cash to put up migrants in hotels, according to local reports.

The Samnytt news site revealed the demise of pensioners at the Kärråkra’s nursing home in Eslöv, which it claims is just the latest cutback in the quality of care provided to residents in recent years.

“The money has run out,” Sofia Persson, the manager of the facility, told the Skånska Dagbladet newspaper when asked about the substandard breakfast on offer to its elderly residents.

Residents at the Kärråkra dementia center in Eslöv, Sweden, are going without basic staples such as milk towards the end of the month due to stretched budgets….

Persson expressed her sadness at the situation and explained that many residents were becoming dissatisfied with the meals on offer, particularly towards the end of the month when finances are stretched, but did note that those who do not wish to partake in a milk-free porridge breakfast are able to opt for sandwiches instead.

This is not a singular incident. Here is another story, from last February, of the poor and elderly being deprived — in this case not of milk for their breakfast porridge but of their modest apartments — in order to give them to migrants.

The Samyntt news site explains that the food is not even publicly funded for all residents, with those with the means to pay being charged for the breakfasts, and these prices were hiked recently by the local council.

The crisis comes at a time when the local government is finding the money to fund hotel accommodation for new arrivals into Sweden.

“Elderly people in wheelchairs with broken hips are thrown out into the street and 90-year-olds who cannot manage at home are denied a place in nursing homes. This is at the same time as the municipality of Eslöv has spent tens of millions on housing so-called unaccompanied migrants in hotels,” the site stated….

As early as 2015, Reuters reported that Sweden’s soaring costs for asylum seekers were forcing the country to cut costs and borrow more.

“At that time, Sweden’s Migration Agency had doubled its financial forecast for asylum seekers and stated that it would require an extra 70 billion Swedish crowns ($8.41 billion) over the next two years. Since then, Sweden’s migrant population has only exploded higher.

“Reuters wrote at that time that “Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson said asylum costs were unsustainable in the longer term and called on other European countries to do more to share the burden.”

What’s happening to the elderly poor in Eslöv, Sweden, deprived even of milk, is in one form or another happening all over Europe, where economic migrants, overwhelmingly Muslim, are soaking the welfare states for every possible benefit, and the money that is spent on them is taken from the amounts that would otherwise be available to the poor and elderly. And as the numbers of those economic migrants inexorably rises, so will the economic burden of supporting them, and the first to suffer will be the indigenous poor and elderly. There is no end to this, unless the anti-Muslim migrant parties come to power and again run their welfare states for the benefit of those who most need that help, beginning with  the poor and elderly indigenes.

Instead of persuading other European countries to “share the burden” of welcoming and supporting these economic migrants, why not call a Europe-wide halt to admitting any more of them? Why not deny those already in Europe welfare benefits unless they satisfy a work requirement? Why not deport any economic migrant — they are overwhelmingly Muslim — who commits a crime, including welfare fraud? Instead of sharing the burden, Europeans should lessen, or even remove, the burden altogether. It should still be possible for the country that gave the world King Gustavus Adolphus, Linnaeus, Ingmar Bergman and Ingrid Bergman, smorgasbord, glög, and Akvavit, and Raoul Wallenberg, to step back from the brink. Swedish elites made a big mistake in opening their doors to Muslim migrants. But all is not lost. There is still time to reverse course.

The extraordinary costs of housing, feeding, educating, and looking after the health of the extraordinary numbers of migrants has to reach a tipping point where even the socialist in the Nordic countries will realize that it is absurdly unaffordable. People with dimentia don't make enough noise to carry this dabate to the general public, so the politicians will likely avoid doing anything about it and leace it for the next government.

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels.

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim.

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace. Here there’s supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word.

The list doesn't work perfectly, of course, because other factors may come into play. But it does work in general.

The UK's Muslim population was 2.7 million after the 2011 census, that's about 4.5%. No doubt it has exceeded 3 million and 5% by 2015.

With significant immigration in the past few years, coupled with high birthrates for Muslims, these percentages will be very conservative. Add in the migrants swamping Europe today and most countries will likely be approaching 10%, while France probably exceeds 10%.

While these numbers are relative to each country's population as a whole, regions within all countries may greatly exceed those numbers, and some places there as a Muslim majority. Dr Hammond's analysis works very well for regional values too. Consequently, you see numerous 'no-go' zones in several EU countries where police will only go in-force. 

Sharia is practiced in some of these communities whether sanctioned by the government or not. This is 'moderate' Islam! But there is nothing moderate about Sharia, and if we don't stop its spread, we will all be under Sharia within a couple generations.

As Tayyip Erdogan said, "There is no radical Islam; there is only Islam!"

Was Earl's Misguided Effort About 'Certified Humane' or 'Halal' beef?

Was Earl's aborted switch to 'Certified Humane' beef from the USA really about 'Certified Humane' beef, or was that a red herring to distract the public from something more sinister?

The president of Earl's Restaurants is a Muslim named Mo Jessa. The, or one of the slaughterhouses in Kansas that Earl's had contracted with was Creekstone Farms. On their web-site, Creekstone advertises Halal meats as well as other meat products.

So, the question is, was Jessa attempting to switch Earl's to Halal meats (cattle have their throats slit and bleed to death, humanely, somehow, as the slaughterer dedicates the meet to Allah)? 

What would that accomplish for Jessa? Well, it might bring out more Muslims to Earls, or make those who already come feel more comfortable. But there is another possibility.

Dr. Peter Hammond has drawn up a rough scale as to what historically has occurred as Muslim populations increase in western countries (mainly Europe). He wrote that when the Muslim population of a country reaches about - From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply.

So, is this an example of Dr. Hammond's research attempting to affect America? In the US, Muslims make up only about 1% of the population. In Canada, however, Muslims made up 3.2% of the population in 2011. It's a pretty safe bet that they are in the 4% range, or higher, in 2016. Perhaps more importantly, Muslims make up between 6 and 7% of the population of Canada's two largest cities, Toronto and Montreal. 

I should point out that Creekstone Farms is not a Muslim enterprise; that's obvious by the fact that they sell pork. It does, however, require a Muslim to slaughter an animal in Halal. Almost a million pounds of beef a year, which is what Earl's serves, does represent a lot of jobs.

I don't know if Mo Jessa was trying to finesse Earl's into serving Halal beef or not, perhaps his conscience really compels him to serve the most humanly treated animals available. Or perhaps it was just a marketing ploy to make Earl's look like it is really concerned for animal rights. He should know that PETA members are vegetarians!

Regardless of his motivation, it was a big fail as it deserved to be. 

What's next for Muslims in Canada according to Dr. Hammonds scale? Pushing for some level of Sharia in portions of cities where there are large Muslim populations. Let's watch for that.

60 Minutes Does 6.8 Minutes on Sweden's 55 No Go Zones

It took less than 10 seconds in a No-Go Zone in Sweden before the reporter's cameraman was deliberately hit by a car. When they called the police, and they came, the people were friendly and nice. As soon as the police left, they were attacked. 

These are Muslim migrants, welcomed by the hundreds of thousands by Sweden's uber-left wing government, with no concept of what to do with them or what they might do to Sweden.

These are just attacks on public transport in Sweden in 2017/18

Projections for some European countries is for Islam to make up 15-20% of the population by 2050. This is accomplished through immigration as well as much higher birth-rates as most European countries indigenous peoples have birth-rates well below sustainable levels.

There is also the consideration that Muslims congregate in communities and in major cities. In Muslim communities, non-Muslims become less and less welcome. In major cities, Muslims already make up significant percentages of the population - 15 to 50 %.

So, we see while none of the European countries has exceeded 10% Muslim population, the violent acts predicted by Dr. Hammond are happening in many cities where the Muslim concentration well exceeds 10%. And this doesn't even touch on the thousands of young girls being groomed, drugged, raped, and gang-raped by Pakistani gangs in many cities in England.

It also does not discuss the political changes that are happening with increasing Islamization. There is a dramatic increase in anti-Semitism in Europe which can be partly blamed on the increase in Muslims, and partly blamed on the rise of far-right extremists. Far-right extremism is, at least in part, a consequence of Islamization and government's Politically Correct madness in protecting them from the consequences of such things as the grooming and raping of young girls.

Europe is trying to close the doors, but it's too late! Propagation rates will put Islam in the majority in much of Europe before the end of this century. Sharia Law will replace Judeo-Christian based laws and our great grandchildren will be wearing burkas and not allowed out of the house without a male relative as an escort. Sounds like fun doesn't it?

A revealing survey by Pew Research Center, ‘Europe’s Growing Muslim Population’, looks at the future of the 25.8 million Muslims currently residing in European countries. Citing a comprehensive swath of data, it is an attempt to see how the size of Europe’s Muslim population may change in the coming decades, depending on levels of migration.

All three scenarios – zero, moderate and high – considered by researchers produced a thought-provoking outcome: the number of Muslims in Europe will rise at any rate of migration, as they are younger and “have higher fertility (one child more per woman, on average) than other Europeans, mirroring a global pattern.”

Under a first, “zero migration” scenario, the Muslim population of Europe still would be expected to rise from the current level of 4.9 percent to 7.4 percent (roughly 36 million) by the year 2050 even “if all migration into Europe were to immediately and permanently stop.”

A second, “medium” migration scenario assumes that the flows of refugees stop, but “regular” migrants continue to come for reasons other than fleeing wars and instability. Under these conditions, Muslims could comprise 11.2 percent (59 million) of Europe’s population in 2050.

In a third, “high” migration scenario, the heavy influx of predominantly Muslim migrants recorded between 2014 and 2016 continues indefinitely. In this case, Muslims could make up 14 percent (75 million) of Europe’s population by 2050 – nearly triple the current figure.

Should that happen, several major European countries are expected to shoulder most of the burden. In Sweden, nearly a third of the population (4.5 million, or 30 percent) would be Muslims, whereas in Austria and Germany Muslims would represent up to 19 percent of the population.

Also, if high migration continues until 2050, Britain’s Muslim share will grow to 17.2 percent, Finland’s to 15 percent and Norway’s to 17 percent.

Interesting! Scenarios 3 and 4 show minor increases in UK and France but huge increases in Germany and Sweden - doubling in Germany and Austria, and a 50% increase in Sweden.

“While Europe’s Muslim population is expected to grow in all three scenarios - and more than double in the medium and high migration scenarios – Europe’s non-Muslims, on the other hand, are projected to decline in total number in each scenario,” says the Pew report.

Interestingly, researchers noted that while Europe’s Muslim population is diverse, comprising Muslims born in Europe and in non-European countries, its self-identification still plays a role. “Levels of religious commitment and belief vary among Europe’s Muslim populations,” the report said.

Researchers said it was difficult – if not impossible – to predict future migration levels. “Although none of these scenarios will play out exactly as projected, each provides a set of rough parameters from which to imagine other possible outcomes,” the study added. 

There has been a heavy influx of migrants to Europe over the past two years, with Germany and Central European nations most affected, along with arrival points such as Italy and Greece.

The crisis gave rise to various far-right parties benefiting from popular fears of mass migration. In a bid to stem the flow of migrants, the EU undertook a major policy change, introducing tougher border controls and stricter eligibility criteria for new arrivals.

Previous polls suggested the majority of Europeans are wary of Muslim immigration. In August this year, Germany’s Bertelsmann Foundation found that every fifth European citizen does not want Muslims as neighbors. A February study by the UK-based think tank Chatham House revealed that an average of 55 percent of people in 10 European countries “agreed that all further migration from mainly Muslim countries should be stopped.”

These are all national numbers - both Dr. Hammond's and PEWs. There are areas, of course, where those percentages are considerably higher than the national numbers; areas which are no-go zones or zones where Muslim criminals run the show.

Dr. Hammond did not include the frequency of rapes and sexual assaults of European girls and young women. Young Muslim men target white girls because they consider them all to be prostitutes and deserving of rape. That's Islam! It should be obvious to most Europeans that this problem is increasing dramatically, but governments and police forces often conspire with liberal news outlets to keep a lid on these things. Germany's initial response to the refugee crisis is extraordinary and laudable. But messing with German's rights to drink beer will change that in a hurry.

Munich’s police force is ready for Oktoberfest 2015. Five-hundred police officers will be on hand to provide security and ensure order in and around the festival area, it was announced at a press conference in Munich on Tuesday. “We are taking all the necessary precautions, just as we do every year,” said the city’s administrator chief Wilfried Blume-Beyerle. “Reports of a crisis situation are simply false.”

Just the same, the fact that revelers and refugees will be arriving at Munich Central Station simultaneously poses a challenge. As many as 40,000 refugees arrived in the Bavarian capital over the past two weekends. Blume-Beyerle said that during Oktoberfest, the two groups will be directed out of the station separately, the refugees to the north, the Oktoberfest visitors to the south.

But now that border controls have been reintroduced and trains carrying refugees are being rerouted past Munich, authorities do not expect welcome the same numbers as in recent weeks. “But if it turns out that way, we’ll manage,” said Senior Police Director Werner Feiler.

The 182nd Oktoberfest starts on Saturday and the city expects to see roughly six million visitors before it ends on October 4.

MUNICH IS AT CAPACITY AND THE STRAIN IS SHOWING

“Munich has reached its limit,” Mayor Dieter Reiter told a press conference on Saturday, saying that his city was trying its best to manage the enormous influx of people.

“We have had 3,600 refugees coming in by 10:30 this morning,” Christoph Hillenbrand, district president of Upper Bavaria, told journalists. “This is the largest number of refugees we have had at this time of the day until now.” He said that officials expected about 10,000 applicants for asylum to reach the southern German city on Saturday, but that there was allocated space for only half that many.

Hillenbrand said officials had no idea how they would create beds for the 5,000 people left without access to “buses, trains or any free space” on Saturday evening. The only hope can come from Bavaria’s neighbors, who can use the state’s example and take their share of the responsibility for accommodating applicants for asylum.

A ‘national problem’

Strain is now slowly showing. Many in Munich say Germany must help those in need, but a feeling of fear has replaced the initial euphoria that marked the mood when trains full of migrants began arriving last week.

UK’s First Female Sharia Judge: ‘We Can’t Ask Muslims Not to Have More than One Wife’ 

Britain’s first female sharia law judge has issued a brazen warning that flies in the face of UK law, stating that the “government cannot ask Muslims not to have more than one wife”.

The news comes on the back of a report by the Times newspaper which claims that Britain is experiencing a “surge” in Sharia marriages, as young British Muslims adopt a more hardline religious stance than their parents.

The Times reports:

“As many as 100,000 couples are living in such marriages, which are not valid under UK law, experts said. Ministers have raised fears that women can be left without the right to a fair share of assets if the relationship ends, while others are forced to return to abusive “husbands”.”

A leading Islamic family lawyer warned that the increase in Sharia ceremonies among the 2.7 million-strong Muslim population in Britain was also behind a growth in “secret polygamy”.

“Probably a quarter of all couples I see involve polygamy issues,” Aina Khan told The Times. “There has been a huge rise in recent years because people can have a secret nikah [Islamic marriage] and no one will know about it.”

The growth in a parallel marriage system that bypassed the register office was being driven by Muslims aged below 30, who were becoming more religious, she said. Other factors include finding a way around the expectation of no sex before marriage and a fear of British family courts, which presume that assets should be split equally.

Muslim Arbitration Tribunals, colloquially known as Sharia courts, have existed in the United Kingdom since 1996, when the Arbitration Act began to allow for different religious laws to be applied in cases such as divorce.

While the tribunals are supposed to work within UK law, recent reports suggest that young Muslims are not registering their marriages with the government under UK civil law, instead simply using nikha ceremonies, which can lead to men having a number of wives, and none of the legal responsibility towards them usually afforded to spouses under the 1949 Marriage Act.

Now, Amra Bone, who is the UK’s first female Sharia council judge, has said that “the government cannot — ask Muslims not to have more than one wife. People have a right to decide for themselves,” implying that British Muslims are free to operate outside UK law, as a rule unto themselves and the Sharia courts they feel are legitimate.

Muslim women who enter into marriage in Islamic ceremonies are often duped into thinking that the marriage under Islamic law is enough to protect them under UK law. As such, they receive none of the usual protections under UK law, such as assets being divided in cases of divorce.
