Antisemitism on Campus > What stupid Western University students are fighting for

When reading this article, keep in mind that Khamenei's interest in Palestinians is not sympathetic, it has to do with Iran's hegemony ambitions in the Middle East. They have significant influence in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and Yemen. The first three border on Israel. The last several presidents of Iran have promised to destroy Israel.

Iran: Muslim cleric links US pro-Hamas campus

protests to Khamenei and the Islamic regime

Whether or not Khamenei’s letters had anything to do with the American campus protests cannot be proven or disproven. But Iran is unquestionably a significant player. What is known is that Iran is a chief funder of Hamas, and that Iran is watching America closely as America stumbles over the pro-Hamas thugs who are holding campuses hostage.

One mistake is captured in this statement:

The Iranian regime’s focus on these events contrasts sharply with its treatment of domestic dissent, where student activists face harsh penalties for similar activities.

The pro-Hamas agitators are not merely protesters; and they certainly are not dissenters fighting for freedom, as are Iranian dissidents. They are a threatening menace, backing a savage, terrorist entity that seeks the annihilation of the Jewish state.

Khamenei himself has seized on the protests as a victory for the pro-Hamas sentiment among Western students, interpreting their actions as a global sensitivity to the Palestinian cause.

For Iran, they do represent a “victory.” Many Western useful idiots who join them have no clue what the Palestinian “resistance” is really about.

How America and the West reacts in the coming weeks and months will determine Iran’s next step.

Islamic Cleric in Iran Links US Campus Protests to Khamenei’s Letters

Iran International, May 10, 2024:

An Islamic cleric in Iran is claiming that letters penned by Iran’s Supreme Leader are the driving force behind pro-Palestinian student protests in American universities.

Ahmad Alamolhoda, is a close associate of Khamenei’s and father-in-law to the country’s current President Ebrahim Raisi.

The cleric claims that the protests on American university campuses today are a result of Khamenei’s letters to Western youth in 2014 and 2015.

Alamolhoda, who is known for his violent rhetoric, once said that the British Ambassador to Iran should be “chopped into pieces”.

The protests on US campuses have garnered significant attention inside Iran and are often portrayed by the regime’s media outlets as a form of validation of their anti-Western stance.

The Iranian regime’s focus on these events contrasts sharply with its treatment of domestic dissent, where student activists face harsh penalties for similar activities.

The discrepancy has not gone unnoticed by the Iranian public, who have criticized the regime’s apparent hypocrisy.

Khamenei himself has seized on the protests as a victory for the pro-Hamas sentiment among Western students, interpreting their actions as a global sensitivity to the Palestinian cause….

Hamas is one of the major shock-troops of Iranian hegemony. They are beginning to make their presence felt in Lebanon and will probably take over the West Bank and Golan Heights from the Palestinian Authority in the next year or two.

Campus Hamas protestors are therefore, fighting for Iran, who are not just trying to eliminate Israel, but are trying to overthrow Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. Then all will be united under Sharia Law, Ayatollah Khamenei's interpretation.

That means women will be largely uneducated and invisible and eligable for marriage at a young age. Girls who rebel against the invisablilty law are fair game for arrests, beatings, torture, rape, and murder.

This is ultimately what stupid western university students are fighting for.

Arguably Canada's Best Prime Minister Gently Criticizes Trudeau

..
Jean Cretien, one of Canada's best Prime Ministers, discusses Trudeau's failures in the Huawei / 2 Michaels affair. Cretien rose in stature in my mind when he stood up to President Bush and refused to get involved in the Iraq War.

Chrétien says government should have moved more quickly

on release of two Michaels

Former prime minister says Trudeau should have reached out to

old-guard Liberals for advice

Former prime minister Jean Chrétien says the government should have moved earlier to resolve the issue of the detainment of Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor.

"We lost three years. That is a problem, they stayed in jail for three years. So, I thought at the beginning that they should have moved earlier," Chrétien said in an interview airing on Rosemary Barton Live on Sunday.

The former Liberal prime minister, who led Canada from 1993 to 2003, told CBC chief political correspondent Rosemary Barton he'd always had a "special relationship" with China. He noted that he had been called by contacts in China about the issue and spoken publicly about it before.

But he wasn't called by the Canadian Government for advice. The arrogance in the PMO would never allow for the opinions of those more experienced or smarter than they.

Chrétien said during his tenure, he was able to balance a working relationship with China, especially on economic issues, while being "very candid" on human rights.

"They don't always agree with you, and most of the time we have to say, 'We agree to disagree,'" he said.

WATCH | Former PM Chrétien discusses Canada-China relations, cabinet considerations

Former prime minister Jean Chrétien spoke to CBC chief political correspondent Rosemary Barton about his years in government, Canada's relationship with China and his personal style of politics. 11:19

He spends less than a minute discussing forming a cabinet and several minutes discussing how he would have handled the three-year tiff with China differently. CBC, as always, does what it can to protect Justin Trudeau from criticism, even from his own party.

Former prime minister Brian Mulroney suggested in mid-2019 that Chrétien be sent to China to help resolve the crisis sparked by the arrest of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou in Canada in late 2018. Former diplomat Michael Kovrig and businessman Michael Spavor were arrested in China a few hours later.

Chrétien said at the time he was willing to go, and was reported in June 2019 to have floated the idea of Trudeau intervening to cancel Meng's case — his former chief of staff Eddie Goldenberg later made the case plainly The Globe and Mail, calling for "a prisoner exchange."

In a book being released Tuesday, My Stories, My Times, Vol. 2, Chrétien discusses how he came to that idea and his own contention that the Meng case was always a political problem, not a legal one.

I have said from the start that Canada should never have arrested Huawei's Meng. Throwing away Canada's relationship with a country as big and powerful as China to support America's economic sanctions was a stupid and cowardly thing to do. I don't believe Cretien would have ever gone along with that.

'Now they have become a power'

Chrétien acknowledged that China had changed since his time leading Canada and that played a role in the government's behaviour.

"It's a different time today, I have to recognize that," he said. "We had disagreements, but now they have become a power, and they're playing as a power. I'm not surprised."

Chrétien said it should always be expected that other countries would act in their own self-interest and that needed to be considered when determining strategy.

"For us, you have to roll with the punches and take the avenues that are beneficial for your country, and slow down when the obstacle is too big," he said.

During his interview with Barton, Chrétien also said Trudeau would have been "better served" in several cases if he and his government reached out to old-guard Liberals for advice, though noting he wasn't passing judgment on them.

On China, he said, "Everyone does it his own way. I had my own way and I survived with it."

"That Makes Me Smart"! Sure!

If you have been following this blog for awhile you know that I haven't paid a lot of attention to the presidential race in the USA. You may even know that I do not like 'reality TV' nor do I like the 'theatre of the absurd', both of which describe the last year and a half of American electioneering. Consequently, I did not watch the big debate last night; I was happy to watch a few highlights, although I'm not sure that's the appropriate word. What I heard was disturbing but very telling.

Hillary Clinton missed a great opportunity last night to destroy Donald Trump; whether she didn't hear his remark or just wasn't ready for it, only she knows. But when she announced that Trump had paid zero dollars in taxes for some years (I'm not sure how she found that out, it seems unlikely that it was public information), Trump interjected with the comment, "That makes me smart"! Does it? Maybe, but saying it was a pretty stupid thing to do for several reasons:

1. He's calling everyone else in America who pays taxes - stupid for doing so.

2. That sets an example for Americans to emulate. If All Americans were 'smart', there would be no government, no police, no military, no justice system, no prison system, no food and drug control, etc., etc. Society would completely collapse into anarchy.

3. If Trump becomes President, he would have to deal with that very problem of falling tax revenues. Consequently, he would have to raise taxes in many areas and eliminate tax breaks, ie mortgages. God forbid he should attempt to tax the wealthy.

4. Trump has as much as admitted that the entire government, military, police, etc., etc, systems are being carried on the backs of middle income Americans who, obviously, aren't very 'smart'.

5. That means that Trump and many other extremely wealthy people do not support the American military, police or firefighters. They seem quite happy with allowing middle income Americans to shoulder all that responsibility. Their responsibility is to their own greed, not to America.

They are quite happy to send Americans into war zones where they know some will come back in body bags, or missing some parts, because many of America's wealthy benefit financially from Americans using their weapons, etc. And, all too often, those soldiers are fighting an enemy using American weapons as well. All the more profit for American arms manufacturers to hide in off-shore accounts away from the IRS.

One of the reasons middle Americans are supporting Trump is because he is rogue; he's not in the pockets of the 1% who are telling Congress and the Senate how to vote on any bill concerning them. And that's refreshing, the thought of the 1% not being able to control the government. It is, however, wishful thinking, for two reasons:

1. Trump is one of the 1%, so how would his policies differ from the others?

2. If he did attempt to make some significant changes to benefit middle-income Americans at the expense of the tax-free 1%, he would be stymied at every turn by Congress and the Senate who are still in the pockets of the rich and tax-free.

3 Days, 4 Jews Murdered - Palestinians Celebrate

Palestinians are not only hate-filled murderers,
they're downright stupid
Palestinians celebrate the murder of Jewish couple
Throngs of Palestinians took to the streets on Thursday night to celebrate the brutal slaying of an Israeli couple in a shooting attack in the West Bank.

The festivities included the launching of fireworks and the waving of flags in the streets, Ofir Gendelman, a spokesperson for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

Gendelman posted on Twitter a photo of the scene. Most of the flying banners were of the Palestinian Fatah faction, the armed wing of which claimed responsibility for the attack that killed Eitam and Naama Henkin. Revelers in Nablus, near the site of the shooting, set off fireworks, he said, adding that Palestinians on social media networks were “ecstatic” about the killings.

The Henkins, who were in their early 30s, were shot dead on Thursday night in northern Samaria while travelling in their vehicle near the Palestinian village of Beit Furik. Paramedics found them at the scene with bullet wounds to their torsos. Their four children, who were in the backseat of the car, were unharmed. The couple was buried on Har Hamenuchot in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem on Friday morning.

Young couple, murdered by Palestinians, leave four children orphans
Leading members of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party, Azzam Al-Ahmad and General Sultan Abu Al-Einen, praised the attack, Gendelman said. He added that General Al-Einen, who serves as Abbas’ adviser on NGOs, called for more attacks on Israelis.

Rival Palestinian terror group Hamas also applauded the attack. Spokesman Husam Badran congratulated Palestinians on the killings and referred to the shooting as a “heroic operation.”

Israel Defense Forces spokesman Peter Lerner said on Thursday that the IDF will deploy four battalions in the West Bank to prevent an escalation of violence and to search for the gunmen. He called the incident a “ruthless, heinous barbaric attack.

15 year old Moshe Malka stabbed by Palestinian
A Palestinian man stabbed an Israeli teen outside Jerusalem’s Old City early Sunday morning, in the second such attack in the past day.

The suspected assailant was reportedly shot dead by Israeli security forces.

The 15-year-old victim, later named as Moshe Malka, was moderately injured and received treated on site by paramedics. He was taken to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Hospital in stable condition with wounds to the chest and back.

The attack took place near the Old City’s Damascus Gate.

Israeli Police and the body of Palestinian terrorist
The attacker reportedly fled the scene after stabbing the teen. A video posted online appeared to show him several hundred yards from the site of the attack, on the light rail tracks, where he was shot by police officers.

Hamas media identified the suspected stabber as Fadi Aloon, a resident of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya. In a Facebook post from an account attributed to Aloon he expressed his intent to become a martyr (shahid) and entreated God to forgive for his sins.

Good luck with that!!!

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who had just taken off for Israel around the time of the stabbing early Sunday morning, told reporters that Israel would “launch a severe offensive against Palestinian terrorism.”

Palestinians living in Israel have it far, far better than those living in Gaza, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon or anywhere else. But they seem determined to destroy that and make everyone's life miserable.

He was set to travel directly to the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv upon his arrival in Israel on Sunday, and convene a security cabinet meeting to discuss the spike in terrorist attacks.

Sunday’s early morning stabbing came just hours after Nehemia Lavi and Aharon Bennett were killed in a terrorist attack in the Old City on Saturday night, and Benet’s wife and child were injured.

The Palestinian terrorist was identified as Muhanad Shafeq Halabi, 19, from al-Bireh, near Ramallah in the West Bank. He was shot dead by police.

Benet’s wife was in serious condition and their two-year-old baby was lightly wounded. The mother was taken to Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem and is undergoing surgery. The toddler was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center for treatment where he remains in stable condition.

Just two days earlier on Thursday night, two Israelis were shot dead in their car in the West Bank in a terrorist attack claimed by the Fatah movement’s armed wing.

In response to the attacks, Israel Police limited entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem to Israeli citizens, business owners, residents and tourists for the next two days. Entrance for Muslim worshippers was limited to men over the age of 50, and access was limited the Lion’s Gate, closest to the Temple Mount.
