Steele and the Toronto Sun won’t tell you this, but I will: ISIS’s “signature execution style” comes straight from the Qur’an: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)
Kawam even asked one rider on the bus if he was a Muslim before he started slashing throats. Clearly he meant to attack non-Muslims and avoid attacking Muslims.
This guy’s motive couldn’t be clearer if it were written in ten-foot neon letters and blinking all night outside the offices of the Surrey, B.C. police, but Canadian authorities, scared to death of charges of “Islamophobia,” are still playing the “mental illness” game. And so he may be released, and may be able to slash more throats.

Abdul Aziz Kawam fully manifested the Islamic State fever he had contracted on April Fools’ Day in 2023.
And so, at the behest of the death cult, he slashed the throat of a rider, leaving a bloodbath on a Surrey, B.C., bus. Miraculously, the male victim in the frenzied, unprovoked attack survived.
Another victim also had their throat slashed at a bus stop, 10 minutes after the aspiring martyr had spent two minutes praying.
On June 30, Justice Miriam Gropper found Aziz Kawam guilty of attempted murder for the benefit of a terrorist group and assault using a weapon for the benefit of a terrorist group. Two other charges were stayed.
The wannabe killer will find out his fate on July 10 when he is sentenced in the B.C. Supreme Court in New Westminster, the Maple Ridge News reported. Other than the local outlet, coverage of his conviction has been, to say the least, sparse.
It’s almost as if the narrative that there are people in this country who have intentions of committing vile acts of violence upon our citizens has been redacted from our more right-on-than-thou newsrooms.
All the RCMP has said is that Kawam was born in 1995. His citizenship status is murky, as is his country of origin. Before beginning his ghastly handiwork, he asked one rider whether or not he was Muslim.
You get the drift. And he loved the Islamic State, the nutters whose attempt to establish a caliphate was obliterated, leaving thousands of dead across the planet in the process.
In the days preceding the attack, federal Crown prosecutor Sharon Steele told the court that Abdul Aziz Kawam was mainlining ISIS propaganda. There was the goofy pledge of allegiance video 10 days before the attack, the encrypted messages on his phone and the tidal wave of nonsense he swallowed.
And then he unleashed his jihad.
The victim, whose throat was slashed, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second individual also had their throat cut at a bus stop. Both victims survived.
Steele said the facts of the sinister attack have never been in dispute. The only thing in contention is whether Canada’s latest contribution to the terror canon is criminally responsible because of a mental disorder….

Man Who Killed French Doctor ‘For Allah’ Ruled Not Criminally Responsible

Just three years ago, in Marseille, a young 40-year-old military doctor, Alban Gervaise, was brutally murdered by Mohammed—“in the name of Allah”—in front of his children’s school. There was no minute of silence or national tribute for him. His widow has just learned with horror that her husband’s murderer will not be tried because he has been deemed “mentally unfit to stand trial.”
On May 10th, 2022, Alban Gervaise went to pick up his two children, aged 3 and 7, from a Catholic school in Marseille, accompanied by his youngest daughter, who was then 20 months old. The military doctor was attacked by a madman who stabbed him repeatedly while shouting “Allah Akbar.” He succumbed to his injuries about ten days later.
The brutal murder of Alban Gervaise did not interest the media. A few rare media outlets reported the death of this man “wounded in the throat”—they preferred not to mention that his throat had been slit. A Catholic, a soldier, a husband, and a father, Alban Gervaise was not entitled to a public tribute. The military claimed that his wife had refused to publicise the case, which she vehemently denied. But the public silence surrounding the case suited many people. For Alban’s military friends, “this media silence is a second death.”
As in so many other similar cases, the psychiatric assessment of the suspect, 23-year-old Mohammed L., concluded that he was ‘completely incapable of discernment.’…
Today, we are learning of the dramatic consequences of Mohammed L.’s psychiatric assessment. He is said to have acted in a state of diminished responsibility due to an “acute delusional episode” in the context of early schizophrenia and cannabis use.
I have to admit here, that schizophrenia and cannabis use are very often related. Numerous studies blame the mental illness on the use of cannabis, especially in teenagers.
He is therefore considered mentally unfit to stand trial and will not be tried by a criminal court. He will escape prison but remain in compulsory hospitalisation for an indefinite period.
Since the murder, Mohammed L. has been imprisoned and then transferred to a psychiatric hospital. He was then taken to a unit for less dangerous individuals, according to Le Figaro. Two psychiatric experts will have to approve his possible release—a moment that Christelle Gervaise dreads more than anything, because she knows that he could be out in a very short time and potentially re-offend. She will not be informed of his potential release and could meet the man in the street one day or another….
Aside from cannabis use, being a devout Muslim adds another element to the schizophrenia diagnosis since anyone who reads about Mohammed and believes can hardly come away without a mental illness.
