Waltershausen – He apparently coughed at people at random. When a man asked him to stop, a Somali man (27) is said to have threatened him with death on Monday afternoon and stabbed him with a knife in the direction of his neck!
The detention hearing of the man who had caused a major police operation in Waltershausen (Thuringia) lasted until 11.34 p.m. on Tuesday. He was then taken to prison. The African is said to have started an argument and threatened customers shopping in front of the Netto market on August-Trinius-Straße at around 5.30 p.m. A 46-year-old from Waltershausen was slightly injured in a knife attack.
The Erfurt public prosecutor’s office is now investigating the accused for attempted manslaughter, dangerous bodily harm and threats.
Senior public prosecutor Hannes Grünseisen: “The accused is said to have said to the victim and other people, ‘I will kill you and your families.’ He is said to have then deliberately stabbed the victim in the neck with a knife and accepted his death.”
Fortunately, the victim was able to evade the attack and was only slightly injured in the back despite multiple stabbing movements by the attacker, who already had a previous conviction for violent crimes. Witnesses intervened and called the emergency services. When the police arrived with around 30 officers, the drunken man from Somalia allowed himself to be arrested without resistance.
The Erfurt public prosecutor’s office issued an arrest warrant at the Gotha district court. But time was running out for the detention hearing: The appointment scheduled for the afternoon in Gotha was canceled because the interpreter who had been ordered did not show up. The accused must be brought before the judge within 24 hours, otherwise the Somali knife-wielding man, who was brought in wearing an FFP2 mask, would have had to be released. The judge’s decision was therefore made in Erfurt and lasted until almost midnight.
The man faces up to 15 years in prison. And, deportation? No?

Imagine the embarrassment of German authorities when they discover that Mohammad Hadi Mofatteh wasn’t an “extremist,” but actually held views that were quite mainstream in Islam. By then, however, it will likely be far too late.
Germany expels head of banned Muslim association

FRANKFURT, Aug 29 (Reuters) – Germany has told the Iranian head of the recently banned Islamic Centre Hamburg (IZH) that he is being expelled from the country and has two weeks to leave, authorities in Hamburg said on Thursday.
The interior ministry of the German city state of Hamburg said in a statement that it had informed Mohammad Hadi Mofatteh that he has until Sept. 11 to leave or else be deported….
According to findings by Hamburg’s domestic intelligence agency, he was the official deputy of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in Germany as head of the IZH until recently….
Social media accounts associated with the IZH and its website have been taken down in Germany after the country banned the IZH and subsidiary organisations in July for “pursuing radical Islamist goals”, according to the federal interior ministry.
The ministry said the IZH, which includes one of the oldest mosques in Germany known for its turquoise exterior, had acted as a direct representative of Khamenei and sought to bring about an Islamic revolution in Germany.
And, is the mosque still standing? Traitorous mosques should be destroyed.
