Far-left billionaire George Soros has funneled more than $50 million to a network of Iran-sympathizer groups whose members have gained significant sway within the Biden White House — pushing to defang US sanctions on Tehran while advocating for a renewed nuclear deal.
A Post examination of Soros’ Open Society Foundations records shows the progressive kingmaker has given a staggering $46.7 million since 2016 to the International Crisis Group, a lefty think tank tied to an alleged Iranian plot to manipulate US policy.
Robert Malley, the former US special envoy to Iran now under FBI investigation for his alleged mishandling of classified material, was the ICG’s president until he joined the Biden administration in 2021.
“Soros has continually funded organizations that act as apologists for the Iranian regime – downplaying their severe human rights abuses while working to advance Iranian propaganda,” Gabriel Noronha of the Polaris National Security think tank told The Post.
Soros cash funded the ICG’s formation in 1994, and the billionaire was a trustee for years before handing the seat to his son and ideological heir Alexander Soros, 38, in 2018.

South Africa: Ruling and opposition parties,
Anglican Church give ‘warm welcome’
and ’embrace’ to Hamas delegation
South Africa has an unsavory history of apartheid. Now post-apartheid South Africa is gaining a reputation as antisemitic and supportive of violence against Israel. Its welcome of a senior Hamas delegation further demonstrates its depravity of leadership. Aside from the “warm welcome” of Hamas and “embrace” by the African National Congress, it is also to be noted that the Anglican Church and unspecified “civil society groups” joined in the welcome, demonstrating that they are anti-Western and pro-jihad. The useful idiot Anglican Church evidently pays no attention to the persecution of Christians by jihadists globally and most virulently in Nigeria.
With this welcome of ISIS-like Hamas, South Africa has now sent a message to the world that its small population of 51,00 Jews out of a population of 60 million are not only unwelcome in the country, but are in danger.
Outcry over Hamas visit to SA

South African Jewry is outraged by the visit to the country of a senior Hamas delegation to participate in the Fifth Global Convention of Solidarity with Palestine. This comes just weeks after Israel suffered on 7 October the gravest act of mass murder, including inhumane torture of Jews, since the Holocaust at the hands of this internationally designated terrorist organisation.
Still reeling in the aftermath of the brutal pre-dawn unprovoked attack in which 1 200 civilians were slaughtered, raped, maimed, and burned, and 240 people including babies, children, women, and the elderly were taken hostage into Gaza, the community has been angered by pictures on social media of Hamas delegates being warmly welcomed and embraced by representatives of political parties including the ruling African National Congress (ANC), the Anglican Church, civil society groups, and the Palestine solidarity movement.
“We are disgusted by Hamas’ presence in South Africa,” said the South African Jewish Board of Deputies.
Rolene Marks, the spokesperson for the South African Zionist Federation (SAZF) said, “The SAZF condemns the audacious admittance of extremists and terrorists into our country by the South African government, raising serious concerns about their potential involvement in fomenting extremism within our borders.”
The Hamas delegation included politburo member Dr Basem Naim; Hamas representative in Iran Dr Khaled Qaddoumi; and Hamas representative in East, Central and Southern Africa, Emad Saber.
Naim has publicly and consistently denied that Hamas kidnapped innocent women and children, killed civilians, and raped women, putting it all down to “fabricated Israeli propaganda”. This in spite of the fact that Hamas terrorists filmed themselves perpetrating these heinous crimes and posted live images of them doing so for the world to witness…..
