The Dutch government collapsed Friday after failing to reach a decision on how to mitigate its overwhelming stream of asylum-seekers.

The crisis arose after the government realized it couldn’t progress beyond a stalemate over Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s conservative VVD party’s plan to separate refugee families and limit the number of migrants entering the Netherlands.

Rutte, the longest-service premier of the nation, resigned in the wake of the collapse, but will remain in office until a new prime minister is chosen.

“It is no secret that the coalition partners have very different views on migration policy. And today, unfortunately, we have to draw the conclusion that those differences are irreconcilable,” Rutte said during a press conference.

“That is why I will immediately … offer the resignation of the entire Cabinet to the king in writing”.

The collapse followed two days of late-night meetings between the coalition over the issue of immigration, which has put a strain on the already densely populated country’s housing infrastructure.

The four-party coalition had been trying to hash out a deal for months on how to handle the dramatic influx of thousands of migrants seeking refuge, including from African nations and Ukraine.

Among the many proposals, the coalition considered creating two classes of asylum — a temporary one for people fleeing conflicts and a permanent one for people trying to escape persecution — and capping the number of family members allowed to join asylum-seekers in the Netherlands.

Rutte had been pushing for a controversial proposal that would limit the entrance of children of war refugees already in the country and make families wait at least two years before they can be united.

Centrist parties D66 and Christian Union said the suggested policy went too far and rejected all plans that supported a strict crackdown on migration.

After several nights without progress, the parties decided unanimously that they could not reach an agreement on the issue and could no longer remain together in the coalition.

Rutte’s coalition will continue serving until the next election, which might not be held before mid-November, News agency ANP reported.

The intense immigration issue will continue to be a focal point in the new election cycle.

More than 21,500 non-Europeans sought asylum in the Netherlands in 2022, according to the country’s statistics office.

The population of the Netherlands is about 17.5 million.

Asylum applications in the country are projected to surpass 70,000 this year — marking a record-breaking high.

Last year, the country’s reception center turned refugees away from its overcrowded housing complexes, forcing them to sleep outside in squalid conditions.

Hundreds of the homeless asylum-seekers were left with little or no access to drinking water, sanitary facilities or health care.

And still, they come! Perhaps because they have no access to such things in their home countries anyway. This is normal for most Islamic countries and you would think they would be happy to leave Islam behind, but, instead, they drag it with them guaranteeing the destruction of the country they are fleeing to. Islamic insanity!

Nigeria: Muslims carry out jihad raid on church during vigil,

murder pastor and abduct seven Christians

JUL 9, 2023 4:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER

“As for the captives, the amir [ruler] has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them. Allah, may he be exalted, says, ‘When you encounter those [infidels] who deny [the Truth=Islam] then strike [their] necks’ (Qur’an sura 47, verse 4)” — Al-Mawardi, al-Ahkam as-Sultaniyyah (The Laws of Islamic Governance).

’Assault on religious freedom’: Nigeria’s Christian Leaders on Latest Attack on Worshipers

by Magdalene Kahiu, ACI Africa, July 7, 2023:

The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has condemned the Saturday, July 1 attack on worshipers at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in the country’s Ogun State.

Gunmen attacked the RCCG during a vigil on the night of July 1, reportedly killing the Pastor and abducting seven worshippers, who were later rescued.

“The attack on worshippers at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Abule-Ori, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, is an assault on religious freedom in Nigeria,” CAN President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, says in a Wednesday, July 5 statement.

The official of the entity that includes representatives of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) says they are mourning “the loss of the Pastor and condemn the kidnapping of worshippers who were simply exercising their religious freedom to worship.”

Archbishop Okoh commends security agencies for “their swift response to the incident and call for intensified efforts to apprehend all the perpetrators.”

Ogun State Police Command and the Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) rescued the kidnapped worshippers on Sunday, July 2 in an operation that reportedly saw one of the kidnappers killed.

In the July 5 statement, CAN President calls upon security agencies in Africa’s most populous nation to increase vigilance on places of worship and provide worshippers with security during religious gatherings….

Ogun State is in the southwest of Nigeria, indicating the continued progress of jihad in the country. Jihad started in the northeast state of Borno and has progressed westward and southward over the past few years.

Nigeria: Muslims slaughter 2,500 Christians in the first six months of 2023

2,500 Christians slaughtered by Fulani jihadists & allied others in first 6 months of 2023

News Band, July 3, 2023:

2,500 Christians slaughtered by Fulani Jihadists and allied others in the first six months of 2023; 350 deaths shockingly recorded in 18 days (June 12-30): 120 in Plateau, 100 (by military, ors) in Imo and 130 across Nigeria; security forces killed 1000 in Imo State in 30 months (Jan. 2021-June 2023), burned down 1,400 houses and arrested 3,700.

The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, Nigeria’s leading research and investigative human rights, rule of law and security and safety advocacy Organization since 2008 has comprehensively reviewed its special investigative reports on the genocidal situation of Christians in Nigeria and the Imo mass atrocities issued on April 10/June 12 and May 21, 2023.

On the situation of Nigerian Christians, it is deeply disheartening and shocking to note that the genocidal footprints (State Jihadism Project) of the out-gone central Government of Retired Major General Muhammad Buhari (29th May 2015-29th May 2023) have continued to hunt down Christians and non Muslim others including their ancestral lands, dwelling houses, places of worship and learning and other properties belonging to them.

Our general review has shown that the grisly and State protected and conspiratorial Jihadist attacks have left:
31,700 defenseless Christians dead between June 2015 and June 2023 and
53,750 hacked to death since the 2009 Boko Haram uprising. It was also found that no fewer than
18,200 churches, 1000 traditional religious sanctuaries and 800 Synagogues/related others, and
2,200 Christian schools have been burned down or wantonly destroyed-with
1100 Christian communities uprooted,
50m Christians forced out of their ancestral homes and lands into displacement and homelessness.

Hundreds of thousands of Christians have been forcefully converted to Islam while
tens of thousands of non-menopausal Christian women have become victims of rape or sexual abuse or enslavement.
Not less than 15m Christian IDPs/Refugees have been generated and forced into internal or regional/international border homelessness-with Benue State being the worst hit accounting for at least
2.5m Christian IDPs.

It is also shocking and alarming to note that in the last eighteen days of the out-gone (government) June 2023 or June 12-30, at least 350 defenseless Christians and non Muslim others have been slaughtered by Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen and their allied Jihadist Fulani Bandits who originated from Zamfara State as “Zamfara Bandits” 2011-2013….

Anthony Blinken had opportunity to do something about this appalling travesty but chose to trade his opportunity for Nigerian support to include LGBTQ language in a UN bill, instead. A display of spectacular moral obtuseness.

France: Omar bin Laden, Osama’s son, indicted for advocating terrorism

JUL 9, 2023 12:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER

Omar bin Laden, an established painter, may turn out to be an apple who hasn’t actually fallen very far from the tree.

Omar, son of Osama bin Laden, implicated for justifying terrorism

Translated from “Omar, fils d’Oussama Ben Laden, mis en cause pour apologie du terrorisme,”

by Ludovic Lemoine, Actu, July 7, 2023:

Omar Bin Laden, one of the sons of Osama Bin Laden, has been, according to our information, indicted for advocating terrorism. In question, a tweet published on May 2, the anniversary of the death of the founder of Al Qaeda.

Yesterday, Thursday July 6, 2023, an important device was deployed in Domfront (Normandy) where Omar Bin Laden has been living since 2021.
Around 7:30 a.m., the security forces intervened in two places in the city, at his home and in the medieval town where the man who became an artist-painter exhibits.

Contacted, the public prosecutor of Argentan does not wish “neither to deny, nor to confirm. There are ongoing legal proceedings, and the secrecy of the investigation.”

A source close to the investigation, however, confirms to the Free Publisher the information: “Omar Bin Laden was indicted for advocating terrorism and released at the end of the procedure.”

On May 2, his father’s birthday, a Twitter account named @OmarBinLadin1, believed to belong to Omar Bin Laden, posted a message praising Osama’s memory.

Many voices in the Arab world were outraged, according to the ArabNews site and asked the platform to suspend the profile. Today, the account is suspended.

Omar Bin Laden settled in Normandy in 2021. He started painting during confinement and regularly exhibits his paintings, sold between 800 and 2000€.

Met this morning, Omar Bin Laden insists that it is “false information”.

The investigation is continuing and will have to determine in particular whether Omar bin Laden is indeed at the origin of this Twitter profile and the author of this tweet.
