Nikki Haley slams decision to reopen Palestinian mission in US without conditions

Jan 29, 2021

Former Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, has spoken out about the reopening of the Palestinian mission in Washington without a strategy, saying it signals a ‘reversal towards peace’ in the Middle East.

“A recurring theme is that Biden wants to reverse all Trump initiatives,”
Haley wrote on Facebook, “Why not be strategic about it? Why reopen the Palestinian mission in DC without requiring they come to the negotiating table? This signals a reversal towards peace in the Middle East.”

Of course, peace in the Middle East does not sell weapons!

It follows the announcement this week that the US will reopen the Palestine Liberation Organisation mission in Washington DC.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Richard Mills told the Security Council on Tuesday said the Biden administration will restore U.S. assistance to the Palestinians.

In other words, he will support their terrorizing Jews.

The Trump administration cut off most U.S. assistance to the Palestinians, including through the Taylor Force Act, due to Palestinian leadership financially rewarding terrorists and their families. The PLO mission was closed in October 2018.

While Biden will encourage more Arab countries to normalize ties with Israel, that’s “not substitute for Israeli-Palestinian peace,” said Mills.

Meanwhile, a report by the Palestinian Maan News Agency said that the PLO has had contact with the Biden administration. Ahmed Majdalani, who sits on the Executive Committee of the PLO, said that the Biden administration has expressed support for a two-state solution and against former President Donald Trump’s Mideast peace plan. He also said that Biden has promised to re-open the PLO’s mission as well as restore aid to UNRWA.

The first tentative steps toward completely abandoning Israel! It will happen on this watch or the next.

Tehran slams Iranian diplomat's 20-year jail term for bomb plot as
'violation of international law'

The 20-year jail term handed down to an Iranian diplomat by a Belgian court for his role in a foiled bomb plot is illegal and a clear violation of international law, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Thursday.

Assadolah Assadi, 49, who served as Iran's envoy in Vienna, was given the maximum sentence on Thursday in Europe’s first trial of an Iranian official on terrorism charges since the Iranian revolution of 1979.

"As we have stated many times before, Assadolah Assadi's detention, the judicial process and the recent sentencing are illegal and a clear violation of international law, especially the 1961 Vienna Convention," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh, according to Iran’s state-run TV.

Khatibzadeh said Iran "strongly condemns" the judgment, claiming that Belgium and other EU nations are influenced by the "hostile atmosphere of the terrorist group of hypocrites in Europe."

Iran reserves the right to pursue all available legal and diplomatic channels to protect Assadi's rights and hold accountable countries that have "violated their international obligations," the spokesman said.

On Thursday Assadi was found guilty of planning to bomb a 2018 meeting of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, a Europe-based political coalition whose aim is to bring down the Iranian regime.

French, German and Belgian police foiled the plot in a raid on the meeting, which was held in Villepinte on the outskirts of Paris.

Two Iranian-Belgians were also found guilty of assisting Assadi by accepting quantities of so-called TATP explosives and a detonator, while a third was found guilty of helping coordinate the logistics of the planned attack.

Historically, TATP explosives are the kind of bomb used in the deadly July 2005 attacks that killed scores in London.

The trio have been handed sentences of between 15 and 18 years in prison, and are to be stripped of their Belgian citizenship.

11 Iranians arrested in Arizona after jumping U.S.-Mexico border

By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times
Wednesday, February 3, 2021

Border Patrol agents arrested 11 Iranians Monday after they sneaked across the border into Arizona.

The five women and six men were traveling as a group, and were nabbed on a bridge near San Luis, a border crossing point. Agents said the group had just crossed the border.

Iran is a “special interest” country for border apprehensions because of its nexus to terrorism, though there was no mention of those concerns in relation to this group.

Still, the 11 arrests pushed the number of Iranians nabbed in the Yuma sector since Oct. 1 to 14. In fiscal year 2020, the Yuma sector arrested eight, while the rest of the border accounted for just 14.

Swedish preschool ordered to purge suspected Islamist extremists

A preschool in the Swedish city of Gothenburg has been ordered to replace its entire board or face closure after security police found ties between its founding chairman and violent Islamist extremists operating in the country.

The school, called Snodroppen (“Snowflake”), reportedly has links to the controversial and secretive group, the School of Science, according to media reports. “If they in principle don’t replace the entire board and the principal, they cannot continue to run the business,” Amanda Larsson of the Gothenburg preschool board said, as cited by Swedish media.

Local authorities are demanding the school replace its entire board or face being shut down amid fears it has been infiltrated by violent extremists who may pose a national security threat to Sweden or who may attempt to isolate children from the secular state and radicalize them.

The ‘Snowflake’ school has been run by a husband and wife since it opened in 2011, and authorities fear that, despite stepping down officially, the man continues to pull strings at the preschool, making use of its resources, possibly for nefarious purposes.

“We assess that the man hasn’t left the business and thus continues to have an impact. For example, he can still use the company’s car, which shows a close relationship with the current principal,” Larsson added following discussion with the Swedish Security Police (Sapo).

The school authorities have been issued an ultimatum to find a new principal by April or close, which would affect some 30 local children. The Swedish school system has been plagued by issues with suspected extremist infiltration into its ranks in recent years.

The school Nya Kastet in the city of Gavle was forcibly closed over links to an extremist network led by Abo Raad, an extremist who was marked to be deported by the authorities. The preschool Lar & Lek (“Learn and Play”) was also closed for links to the controversial ‘Sweden’s United Muslims’ group.

“We see this as a broad phenomenon and a long-term problem and all pro-violence extremist environments could take advantage of this opportunity,” Sapo Chief of Operations Johan Olsson said. Sapo estimates that there has been a rise from 200 to about 2,000 Islamists operating in the country in the past decade.

Do you also see that these are not just opportunists, but they came to Sweden with the full intention of turning it into a Muslim state. This is how they work. It's good to see there are people in Sweden who are providing some resistance to them.

I have an idea: instead of purging Islamist extremists from school boards, how about purging them from Sweden?
