Abu Bakr said protestingly, ‘Musical instruments of Satan in the house of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) !’ It happened on the `Id day and Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, ‘O Abu Bakr! There is an `Id for every nation and this is our `Id.’” (Sahih al-Bukhari 952)
For about a year now I have been suggesting that Tayyip Erdogan has been looking for an excuse to intervene in the Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran/Houthi war against Israel. He may have found it in this absurd claim.
How about they run a few random genetics tests to see if any Gazans are from Turkey.
Former Turkish prime minister says Gaza was part of Ottoman Empire and so Gazans are Turkish citizens
This statement should be (but won’t be) a wake-up call for many other countries, including Greece, unoccupied Cyprus, and Israel, that were once part of the Ottoman Empire.
If Turkey did reassert sovereignty over Gaza, it would use it as a jihad base against Israel, just as the Gazans themselves have done since the Israelis withdrew from the territory in 2005.
