Nigeria: Muslims displace over 4,000 Christians in four villages, burn homes, torch churches, and kill five people
This will, as always, get no coverage in the establishment media outlets. That’s because it doesn’t fit the narrative, which holds that Muslims are always brown victims and Christians are always white oppressors. If a news item doesn’t fit that narrative, as far as the establishment media is concerned, it didn’t really happen, or at very least is unworthy of any attention.
Boko Haram’s Latest Attacks Displace Thousands of Christians in Nigeria
International Christian Concern, January 24, 2025:
1/24/2025 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) — Boko Haram is escalating attacks on Christian communities in Chibok, Borno state, displacing more than 4,000 Christians in recent days. In a series of coordinated raids, Boko Haram targeted the Christian villages of Njila, Banziir, Shikarkir, and Yirmirmug, burning homes, torching churches, and killing five people.
During the most recent attack on Monday, terrorists descended on Shikarkir and Yirmirmug in the early morning, displacing more than 1,500 residents.
Eyewitnesses reported that Boko Haram militants targeted Christians during these raids, intimidating them and demanding they convert to Islam or face death. The violence destroyed Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa, a church, and the loss of livestock, food supplies, and livelihoods.
“We are living in fear,” said Ibrahim Yana, a farmer who fled Shikarkir. “They burned down our church and homes. Many of us have lost everything.”
Boko Haram, officially known as Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad, has waged a violent insurgency since 2009, targeting Christians, moderate Muslims, and government institutions in its quest to establish an Islamic caliphate. The group gained global infamy for its 2014 abduction of 276 schoolgirls in Chibok, an event that sparked international outrage and the #BringBackOurGirls movement.
Since then, Boko Haram has orchestrated numerous atrocities, including the killing of tens of thousands of civilians, the displacement of more than 2.5 million people, and the destruction of churches, schools, and entire communities across Nigeria’s northeast….
And the government does as little as it can to end the genocide. The Nigerian government and military are so outrageously corrupt that no other country will attempt to assist them in fighting the Islamic jihad.
Pakistan: Jihadis slit the throats of two traders
“When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)
Two kidnapped traders killed in Tirah, cleric gunned down in Lakki
by Ghulam Mursalin and Ibrahim Shinwari, Dawn, February 5, 2025:
KHYBER/LAKKI MARWAT: Suspected terrorists slit the throats of two traders from Tirah valley in Khyber tribal district and left their bodies in a hilly area on Tuesday.
Sources in the Tirah valley told Dawn that the beheaded bodies of the president of the trader organisation Haji Sher Mohammad and another trader, Ibrar, were spotted by residents on the Hodal Sar hilltop in Bhutan Shareef area on Tuesday morning.
They said that Haji Sher and Ibrar were abducted by armed men on Jan 30 and remained in their captivity afterward.
The sources said a local jirga held a series of negotiations with suspected terrorists to secure the release of the two.
The abductors alleged that the kidnapped persons spied on them, leading to the killing of four suspected terrorists in an intelligence-based operation on January 25.
Sources said that the suspected terrorists had told jirga members that the four slain terrorists, including two of their leaders Abdul Aziz alias Qari Ismail and Mukhlis, had stayed at the house of Haji Sher prior to their killing in an IOB, but they suspected the trader leader of spying on them and sharing their whereabouts with security forces.
No terrorist group operating in Tirah valley took responsibility for the abduction. The jirga members kept mum about those they were negotiating their release with….
Meanwhile, gunmen killed a cleric and a member of the peace committee in Darra Pezu town of Lakki Marwat district on Monday night.
Police said that Maulana Sanaullah was leading the night prayer (Isha) when six armed men showed up, took him outside, and killed him before fleeing.
Dozens of migrant bodies found in
mass graves in Libya

The bodies of at least 28 migrants have been recovered from a mass grave in a desert in southeastern Libya, the North African country's authorities reported on Sunday.
The grave was found north of Kufra, a city located about 1,712km (1,064 miles) from the Libyan capital of Tripoli, according to a statement posted to Facebook from the attorney general’s office.
About 76 people were freed “from forced detention” following a raid on a human trafficking site, where the bodies were recovered, the attorney general stated.
“There was a gang whose members deliberately deprived illegal migrants of their freedom, tortured them, and subjected them to cruel, humiliating, and inhumane treatment,” the statement said.
Three suspects, including a Libyan and two foreigners have been arrested, it added.
The latest incident came after 19 bodies allegedly linked to human smuggling and illegal immigration activities were found in three graves on a farm in the desert town of Jikharra last Thursday. On the same day, the Libyan Red Crescent reported recovering ten bodies of migrants after a boat sank approximately 40 km from the coastal city of Tripoli.
On January 26, the humanitarian organization announced that, with the permission of the country’s authorities, it had organized the burial of 11 unidentified bodies in Zawiya.
The oil-rich country, a destination for migrants from neighboring African states, has become a major transit point for human trafficking since the NATO-backed overthrow of its former leader, Muammar Gaddafi, in 2011. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) says around 787,326 migrants from 44 nationalities were living in Libya as of last October.
The UN migration agency has listed Libya as one of the most dangerous routes for people attempting to reach Europe by sea. In 2023, 4,984 migrants died or went missing during their journeys on routes within and from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, which includes Libya, according to a recent IOM Missing Migrants Project report. The figure represents an increase from the 3,820 recorded in 2022.
Earlier this year, the UN announced that the death toll and number of missing persons in the Mediterranean in 2024 had surpassed 2,200, with nearly 1,700 lives lost along the central Mediterranean route connecting Algeria, Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia to Italy and Malta.
In 2023, a court in eastern Libya jailed 37 people for human trafficking, following the deaths of 11 migrants whose boat sank in the Mediterranean Sea en route to Europe. The Al-Bayda court of appeals handed down life sentences to five of the defendants, nine received 15 years behind bars, and the rest received one-year sentences.
