Sweden has chosen its path. It has decided to abandon the freedom of expression and embrace Sharia blasphemy laws. More of Sharia will follow. Sweden has reached the end of its history as a free society.
Salwan Najem convicted of incitement against a group of people after Koran burnings in Stockholm

Salwan Najem convicted of incitement against a group of people after statements made at several Koran burnings in different places in Stockholm in 2023. Salwan Momika was also charged in the case, but the charges against him were dropped after he was shot to death last week. According to Najem’s lawyer, the verdict will be appealed.
Salwan Najem was charged after statements he made in connection with burning Korans in different places in Stockholm on four occasions in the summer of 2023 together with Salwan Momika.
He is now sentenced to a suspended sentence and daily fines. The court believes that even if the motive was to criticize the religion of Islam, the actions have clearly exceeded what can be considered objective debate and criticism.
Najem himself denies the crime and believes that his statements constitute criticism of religion, which is protected by freedom of expression.
“There is a lot of room within the framework of freedom of expression to be critical of a religion in a factual and valid debate. At the same time, expressing one’s opinion about religion does not give a free pass to do or say anything without risking offending the group that holds that belief,” says the presiding judge in the case, Judge Göran Lundahl, in a press release.
Freedom of expression expert Nils Funcke believes that there are still question marks about how far freedom of expression extends.
“If you look at what Momika and Najem say in the transcription found in the preliminary investigation, I would say that Najem speaks about the Koran, about Muhammad and about the religion of Islam, and I think that falls within a broad freedom of expression. I think that Najem and Momika’s statements are lumped together and thus Najem is blamed for what Momika said.”
According to Mark Safaryan, Salwan Najem’s lawyer, the verdict will be appealed.
“My client is not feeling well, partly because of what has happened to Momika and now also because he has been convicted. He has difficulty accepting the verdict because he does not stand behind the statements that Momika has made. They have not synchronized what they are going to say.”
Couldn’t he have predicted that Momika would make these statements?
“No, and he has assumed that the demonstration permits gave them permission to do this.”
Salwan Najem both participated in the Koran burnings and submitted several of the applications to the police. He immigrated from Iraq in 1998 and became a Swedish citizen in June 2005.
The Koran burnings resulted in a diplomatic crisis and contributed to a worsening security situation for Sweden.
When revealing the truth about Islam and the Quran contributes to a worsening security situation, there is something seriously wrong. Sweden, like most other European countries, doesn't have the courage to look realistically at the insane ideology that they have invited into a beautiful and peaceful land. An ideology that is predicated on death and violence and intolerance and domination. An ideology they have to deal with soon or they are committing cultural suicide, like Britain.
Salwan Momika was also charged, but was shot dead on Wednesday evening. The prosecutor therefore dropped the charges against Momika.

On October 23, a 43-year-old man stabbed a Tunisian after trying to leave a Quran in an association premises in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. He was arrested three months later.
On January 28, a man was arrested in Grenoble for an attempted murder committed on October 23, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, Valeurs actuelles learned from a police source. That day, the suspect had gone to the premises of the association Autremonde to deposit a Quran. Volunteers from the association allegedly tried to dissuade him, after which the suspect allegedly stabbed a Tunisian, a regular at the place, for no apparent reason.
The stab wound was inflicted very close to the heart, according to a source close to the investigation. The victim, still alive, was given 15 days of total incapacity for work (ITT) by the medico-judicial units. The perpetrator then took back his Quran before leaving the premises.
Investigations conducted by the police have identified a suspect, a certain George C., 43 years old, born in Martinique, who is said to suffer from schizophrenia, and who was allegedly not receiving treatment at the time of the events. Placed in police custody after his arrest in Grenoble, the alleged perpetrator admitted to the facts. He also indicated that he had reacted in response to a slight jostling, and that he did not know the victim before this attempted homicide.
He was brought before a court for indictment during which a psychiatric assessment will be carried out in order to try to determine his level of discernment at the time of the events, and therefore his criminal responsibility.

Channel 4 bosses are blasted for ‘sanitising’ extremist views of reality show star accused of anti-Semitism and homophobia

Channel 4 is under fire for ‘sanitising’ the extremist views of a woman accused of anti-Semitism and homophobia in a show about immigration.
Former The Apprentice candidate Bushra Shaikh appears in reality show Go Back To Where You Come From which starts on Monday.The series takes six people – four anti-immigration and two pro-immigration – and shows them following migrant routes from Somalia and Syria.
Ms Shaikh, 41, who is of Pakistani heritage and headed an anti-racism campaign in sport called Run Racism Out, is on the show as a pro-immigration campaigner.
She is shown in a trailer saying: ‘There is a proportion in Britain who I think are as thick as s***. I am not the person you want to have these ridiculous racist and Islamophobic conversations with.’
However, Channel 4 is accused of not showing her more extreme side which can be seen through her social media accounts.
This week, after tweeting that an Iraqi Christian called Salwan Momika who was famous in Sweden for burning the Koran had been shot dead, she wrote to her 89,000 followers on X: ‘Some of you may disagree but the public desecration of any holy book should be viewed as a hate crime and the offender should face consequences.’
She later insisted she didn’t mean that he should have been shot, adding: ‘I’m neither sad nor happy that Salwan Momika is dead. I don’t care.’
In 2023 she wrote a tweet which was described as homophobic in which she said that homosexuality was seen as ‘unnatural and immoral’ in Islam. She then compared homosexuality to paedophilia, writing: ‘Nobody is born gay. It is a choice. Nobody is born a paedo either right. Feelings do not determine that which is right to do. Both are wrong.’
Earlier in the week, meanwhile, the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) uncovered a string of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic posts in which Ms Shaikh, who runs a fashion line of ‘modest’ clothing, said Jews who moved to Israel from Europe are ‘the biggest charlatans on this planet’ and a ‘bunch of lying scumbags’.
She also said that Jews should be expelled from Israel, writing on X: ‘One state solution. Palestine. And send this European problem back to f****** Europe.’…
It's too bad such a beautiful person has such a dark and dismal soul. She could make the world a better place instead of uglier.

Once Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner outlaws “Islamophobia,” Zakir Hussain should appeal on the grounds that opposing his Jew-hatred, which is rooted in the Qur’an (cf. 2:63-5, 5:59-60, 5:82, 7:166, etc.), constitutes “Islamophobia” and thus his plea should be vacated. He’ll be prime minister in no time.
Man admits support for Hamas in social media posts

A 29-year-old man has admitted a series of antisemitic posts and supporting Hamas on social media.
Zakir Hussain had denied wrongdoing but changed his plea and admitted 11 charges against him on the first day of his Old Bailey trial on Monday.
The defendant, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to four charges of expressing support for proscribed organisations Hamas and Hezbollah….
In posts, Hussain hailed October 7 – the date in 2023 when more than a thousand people were killed in a Hamas-led attack on Israel – as a “beautiful day”.
In other comments, he wrote: “We are hunting them for fun in the UK,” and “I’m in London any Jews out there come out and stand up for your religion.”…
