Islamism did not gain traction in the U.S. because of its ideology. It gained space because Cultural Marxism created political and cultural protections that shielded it from scrutiny. Islamism conflicts sharply with core American principles—individual liberty, free speech, and equal rights.
Cultural Marxism, however, gained traction by presenting itself as social justice, tolerance, and multiculturalism. In doing so, it rewrote the rules: the West is cast as guilty, “white” as oppressive; Muslims are categorized as an oppressed class and therefore a protected minority; Islam is racialized into an identity rather than as a belief system. Criticism of Christianity and Judaism is fair game—criticism of Islam is declared taboo and labeled bigotry.
This is a Green–Red/Blue alliance. To defeat Islamism, we must first defeat the Marxist ideology that protects it.
