See also: Ozzone 7-16. Remember, we look at answered, or seemingly unanswered prayer, from our own perspective. We never see the full consequences of God answering our prayers and how they may effect many people whom we don't even know. God has to take myriad possibilities into account before answering our prayers. Never demand that God answer your prayers.
King Hezekiah prayed pitifully for God to extend his life and the Lord gave Him 15 more years. Had Hezekiah known the consequences of his extended life, he would never have prayed for it.
