A number of civilians were killed outside a major Kabul mosque, which was rocked by an explosion during a funeral ceremony for the mother of a top Taliban official. Three suspects have been detained following the incident.

The explosion was confirmed by the son of the deceased, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, who said that a “gathering of civilians” was the target of the attack. The blast occurred outside Kabul’s Eid Gah Mosque, the city’s second-largest mosque. The 16th century building is located in the south of the Afghan capital.

“A bomb blast rocked a gathering of civilians near the entrance of the Eid Gah Mosque in Kabul this afternoon, leaving a number of civilians dead,” Mujahid wrote on Twitter.

The explosion apparently came as a prayer ceremony for Mujahid’s mother, who died last week, was being held at the mosque. Earlier, the Taliban spokesman invited “all people and friends” to attend the ceremony on Sunday.

The incident left at least two people dead and three injured, an official with the Interior Ministry told RIA Novosti. Three suspects have been apprehended by Taliban forces in the aftermath of the blast.

Unnamed Taliban sources provided RIA Novosti with a significantly higher figure, however, suggesting the blast had killed at least 12 and left more than 30 injured.

While the Taliban has not pointed fingers at anyone over the attack yet, local media reports suggested a local offshoot of Islamic State was behind the blast. The initial explosion was reportedly followed by gunfire, suggesting that the attackers engaged the Taliban forces in a firefight.

The Taliban destroyed an Islamic State cell in Kabul, the group’s spokesperson has said, just hours after a fatal blast detonated at a major mosque that was holding prayers for his recently deceased mother.

Taking to Twitter early on Monday, Zabihullah Mujahid, the son of the deceased woman, confirmed that a “special unit” had carried out an operation on Sunday against “ISIS insurgents” in the capital.

He added that “the operation, which was very successful and decisive, resulted in the complete destruction of the center and the death of ISIS insurgents.”

The offensive occurred just hours after a blast went off outside Eid Gah Mosque, the capital’s second-largest place of worship, where funeral processions were being held for the top Taliban official’s mother, who died last week.

Mujahid confirmed the attack on the building on Sunday, writing on Twitter that a bomb had been detonated which had left “a number of civilians dead.” Three suspects were arrested by Taliban forces in the wake of the explosion.

Gunfire reportedly followed the explosion at the mosque, suggesting that the perpetrators behind the attack had fought Taliban forces after detonating the bomb. Local media reports suggested that Islamic State’s Afghan branch was behind the attack.

IS claimed responsibility for a major suicide bombing at Kabul airport during hasty US and international evacuation missions in August. The bloody attack killed 13 American servicemen, at least 28 Taliban members, and scores of Afghan civilians, leaving dozens injured.

This is not the first time that reports have emerged about Israeli intelligence forces kidnapping an Iranian general.

By Lauren Marcus, World Israel News

A bombshell report from London Arabic-language newspaper Rai El Youm on Tuesday indicated that Mossad agents had kidnapped an Iranian general, spirited him away to an African country, and interrogated him there in order to determine the whereabouts of a long-missing Israeli soldier.

Based on statements made earlier Tuesday by Israeli intelligence officials, the mission was a “failure” and did not result in any additional information about the fate of Israeli navigator Ron Arad, whose plane was shot down over Lebanon in 1986.

According to Rai El Youm, the Mossad operatives released the Iranian general after a period of time when it became clear that he could not provide insight into Arad’s final years or resting place.

Arad was captured by the Shi’a Amal militia in Lebanon and was able to make contact with Israel through letters and a taped video appearance until 1988, when he is believed to have been transferred to Hezbollah custody.

A report from the IDF and Shin Bet released in 2016 found that Arad likely perished in 1988, when contact with him was lost.

However, some in the Israeli intelligence community have said they believe Arad was transferred to Iran, held in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison for a number of years, and eventually died of an illness after being brought back to Lebanon in 1995.

Rai El Youm linked the alleged abduction to an ongoing shadow war between the Jewish State and the Islamic Republic.

Citing recent reports about Israeli businessman Tedi Sagi being the target of a near-assassination in Cyprus arranged by Iran, and the recent attacks on each others’ ships.

This is not the first time that reports have emerged about Israeli intelligence forces kidnapping an Iranian general.

In 2012, Iran’s then Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Daqiqi said that Mossad had kidnapped Ali Reza Asghari, a former Defense Minister.

Asghari was visiting Turkey, Daqiqi said, when he was abducted by Israeli operatives and taken to Israel.

Nigeria: Muslims screaming ‘Allahu akbar’ murder four Christians,

including a Catholic priest

OCT 4, 2021 9:00 AM
BY ROBERT SPENCER

Jihad Watch reports these kinds of stories out of Nigeria and elsewhere regularly. Few other news outlets do so. And there are many who believe that the problem is not the murders, but Jihad Watch’s reporting of them.

That may be a part of it Robert, but there is also the fact that it is in Africa where most news outlets do not have reporters, and the fact that the victims here are almost entirely black and Christian. Add to that the refusal of most outlets to print anything negative about Islam and you have lots of reasons why these massacres are not being reported.

“Four Christians, Including A Priest, Murdered by Fulani Militants”

International Christian Concern,
October 1, 2021:

Four Christians, including a Catholic priest, were murdered on Tuesday night in yet another attack by Fulani Militants in Nigeria.

“At around 6:50 pm Nigerian time, three persons on a motorcycle were… on their way from Jebbu Miango to Miango community (Plateau State), when the Fulani Terrorists laid ambush and attacked them,” said Davidson Malison, the National spokesman of Irigwe Development Association. “Their motorcycle was also burnt to ashes by the terrorists. Two were killed instantly and one sustained gunshot injuries.”

“In a separate attack same Tuesday evening, two persons were killed while working on their farm at Nzhwerenvi community in Jebbu Miango,” Malison added….

27-year-old Musa Wah, the sole survivor of the motorcycle attack, spoke to ICC while on his hospital bed:

“The attackers came with guns shouting ‘Allahu Akabar’ (Allah is greatest). I did nothing to them—the [Fulani militants] wanted to kill me because I am a Christian. My friends and our catechist were killed because they were Christians.”

Ezekiel Bini, the National Youth Leader of the Irigwe Youth Movement, is also confident that the murders were due to the victim’s Christian faith.

“The killing is against Christians,” he said. “Christians are persecuted daily in my community, most especially villages in Plateau state. The government continues to remain silent. We are left under the mercy of gunmen.”

Canada: Jihadi Muslima denied parole, would ‘likely kill

or injure if released,’ insists she doesn’t need medication

OCT 4, 2021 5:00 PM
BY ROBERT SPENCER

She is on medication because Canadian authorities assume that anyone who is driven to want to kill or injure out of religious motivations must not be of sound mind. Authorities all over the West assume this, and routinely classify jihad violence as mental illness. The alternative, that someone who is entirely sane could read Islamic texts and teachings and accept their exhortations to wage war against non-Muslims, is too terrible for Western authorities to contemplate. They prefer to comfort themselves with soothing lies about how it’s a religion of peace.

Well, they are partly right, as you are. Syrian Psychiatrist Dr. Wafa Sultan has declared: “I came to the absolute conviction that it is impossible…impossible…for any human being to read the biography of Mohammed and believe in it, and then emerge a psychologically and mentally healthy person.”

So, the point is radical Muslims, Jihadists, if they aren't already insane, become so when dedicating themselves to Jihad and Mohammed. Consequently, they are all insane, and all need to be segregated from society until they renounce Jihad and Mohammed.

As a Christian, I question whether they are insane or demonically possessed. I suspect the latter.

“ISIS supporter who attacked at Canadian Tire store denied parole,”

by Stewart Bell, Global News,
September 29, 2021

A Toronto woman who carried an out ISIS-inspired attack at a Canadian Tire store in 2017 has been denied parole and ordered to serve out the remainder of her sentence in prison.

And then what?

A decision released Wednesday by the Parole Board of Canada said Rehab Dughmosh continued to “voice support for the ISIS ideology” and would likely kill or injure if released….

She declined to attend a scheduled parole hearing last Thursday.

After a failed attempt to join ISIS in Syria, Dughmosh attempted to carry out an attack in Toronto, but was stopped and there were no serious injuries.

“In June 2017, you attended a Canadian Tire store in the Scarborough area and assaulted strangers while armed with a knife and a golf club, indicating that you committed these offences in the name of ISIS,” the board wrote.

She was convicted of terrorism in 2019 and sentenced to seven years. The judge said a lower sentence was warranted because mental illness had “rendered her vulnerable to extremist beliefs.”

Did the egg come before the chicken?

This was her second parole application. The first was denied in July 2020 after she wrote a note saying if she was released she would “do another terrorist attack, so tell your government to send me back to my country (Syria).”

In its latest decision, the parole board said that while medication had helped lessen the risk she posed, Dughmosh was not taking it voluntarily and told her parole officer she didn’t need it….

A psychological risk assessment found her violent behaviour was “motivated by your desire to belong to a group, specifically ISIS, and your desire for retribution for actions against your country and your faith.”

She also held “negative attitudes that endorse the use of violence in a religious context” and did not see herself as part of Canadian society, according to the decision.

Palestinian Authority municipality and Fatah erect monument

in honor of jihad terrorist murderer

OCT 4, 2021 2:00 PM
BY ROBERT SPENCER

Biden’s handlers will continue to shower American taxpayer money on the “Palestinians,” and pressure Israel as if it were the obstacle to peace. Some things never change.

“Fatah and PA municipality erect monument in honor of terrorist murderer,”

by Nan Jacques Zilberdik and Itamar Marcus,
Palestinian Media Watch, October 1, 2021:

This monument in honor of terrorist murderer Kamal Abu Wa’er exemplifies the great efforts the PA and Fatah spend on inculcating in the minds of Palestinians the ideology that terrorist murderers are heroes and role models.

Fatah and Jenin Municipality are currently in the process of erecting this monument for terrorist murderer of at least 4 Israelis, Kamal Abu Wa’er. The design of the monument includes two upraised chained hands, one holding an AK-47 assault rifle with a bayonet and the other making a “V” for victory. The PA map of “Palestine” that presents all of Israel together with the PA areas as “Palestine” is also part of the monument….

Posted text: “The end of the first stage of establishing the monument in memory of Martyr prisoner Kamal Abu Wa’er (i.e., terrorist, involved in murder of at least 4) in Jenin

In the presence of Chairman of the National Committee to Commemorate the Arab Martyrs Muhammad Habash… the establishment of the monument in memory of Martyr Kamal Abu Wa’er began in Jenin in the Al-Jaberiyat area.

Muhammad Habash noted that the first stage has ended of establishing the monument in memory of Martyr Kamal Abu Wa’er in cooperation with the relatives of Martyr Kamal Abu Wa’er, the prisoners, the Martyrs’ comrades, the Jenin Municipality, and the Fatah Movement.”

That the PA and Fatah honor terrorist murderers is not new. Palestinian Media Watch has exposed hundreds of schools, institutions, streets, squares and other permanent public structures that have been named after terrorists and murderers, as well as activities like summer camps and military camps, sporting events, and festivals.
