Police sources have confirmed that the shocking viral video of a man laying unconscious on the ground after being beaten by Arab rioters was an off-duty French police officer. He was one of two off-duty officers severely wounded by the mob. The targeted beating took place on Thursday night, which marked the third night of rioting that has rocked France since the police shooting of 17-year-old French-Algerian Nahel M., who was well known to the police for his lengthy criminal history.

In the video, one man is heard saying to the unconscious off-duty officer: “You’re knocked out on the ground, huh? That’s it, the Arabs — they f**ked you up.”

According to French newspaper Le Figaro, another officer was also assaulted. The first officer suffered a fractured jaw and the second received several stab wounds. Although the riots began in Paris, they have spread to a variety of French cities, and Marseilles has been hit hard.

While returning to their car, the off-duty officers were blocked on the road by burning trash cans in the 1st arrondissement of the city. When one of them got out to clear the way, one of the rioters recognized him. At that point, approximately 20 individuals violently attacked them, according to a police source….

French President Emmanuel Macron’s interior minister, Gérald Darmanin, offered comment on the two officers, saying: “They were beaten on the ground like dogs, there are no other words.”…

Officers have been hit with Molotov cocktails and firework mortars, and subjected to physical assaults, with one French police union now threatening to mutiny unless they are given more resources, writing: “We are at war.”

In Marseilles, the city where the officers were beaten, the largest library in the city was also set on fire. The library contains priceless works of art and literature that date back to Medieval times.

The rioters have not only targeted police officers but also seemingly random white people who have been pulled from their vehicles and beaten by mobs.

France has suffered €1 billion in damage due to widespread rioting, said Geoffrey Roux de Bézieux, head of France’s largest employer federation, the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF), during an interview with French newspaper Le Parisien….

“It is too early to give a precise figure but we are at more than a billion euros, not counting the damage to tourism. The videos of the riots, which circulated around the world, damage the image of France. It’s always difficult to know if the impact will be lasting, but there will certainly be a drop in bookings this summer when the season was promising. Trips have already been canceled,” said Bézieux….

And given the scenes of mass destruction that have gone around the world, how many tourists who had planned to visit Paris in 2024 for the Olympics, will prefer to stay home and watch the games on television? Why take risks of being caught up in mob violence, set off by a “spark”?

The latest damage figures coming out of France must also be factored into the debate around immigration and arguments that Europe needs more foreigners to shore up public finances. Claims that the migrants will be needed to pay into the pension system of European countries have already been debunked numerous times, as they already cost countries like France and Germany tens of billions every single year for housing, education, and jobless benefits. If anything, these populations are burning a massive hole in the public finances of nations across the West.

Few Muslim migrants pay into the pension system, because few are gainfully employed. But as a collective, they take out more from the state than any other group – some tens of billions of euros are spent each year on their housing, medical care, education, family allowances, and jobless benefits.

However, when the financial damage of the French riots is also factored in, along with the significant resources dedicated to policing these migrant communities, arguments about the financial benefits of mass immigration appear to be, at least in France, quickly leading to a backlash amongst the public. In fact, the vast majority of French people — even before the riots — were saying that France had taken in too many migrants and that immigration had brought more disadvantages than advantages.

The videos of the riots show that the vast majority of rioters were urban youth with a foreign background; court cases are also confirming this to be the case.

CNews reporter Amaury Bucco posted a tweet pointing out that four rioters tried for the looting of stores in Paris and for receiving goods from these stores: three of them are migrants, including two illegal Algerians, one was under a deportation order (OQTF).

“Immediate appearances in Marseille: a 21-year-old man, son of a Malian diplomat, who came to demonstrate in tribute to Nahel, arrested during the night with four pairs of glasses and six pants. Again, clean record and again, the prosecution requests prison time,” wrote French journalist Clara Martot Bacry.

The son of a diplomat does not want for much. Still, what better way to offer a deeply-felt tribute to Nahel Merzouk than to join other Muslims, equally touched by his death, than by emptying out a clothing store and an optician’s office?

Hugh - You, of course, know that logic never comes close to the reasoning for Muslims to do something violent or crazy. Islamic hysteria leaves no room for logic.

Where was and is the outcry in the West over what Sheikh Abu Taqi Al-Din Al-Dari said in 2019, in a video which is now making the rounds again because of the crisis in France? Al-Dari stated his call for conquest during a sermon at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The sermon, in which he stated that France would become an Islamic country through jihad and that the entire world would be subject to Islamic rule, is going viral in light of the Muslim riots in France.

Western authorities’ determination to downplay and disregard the jihad threat continues as jihadists take advantage of the path into the West created by open-door immigration policies and the “Islamophobia” canard.

Palestinian cleric Abu Taqi Al-Din Al-Dari said in an Al-Aqsa Mosque address that was uploaded to the Internet on March 12, 2019 that young people in Germany and France do not value marriage as much as Muslims do, but that this is not the reason that France will become an Islamic country. Rather, he explained, France will become an Islamic country through Jihad, since Muslims must have a country that will bring Islam’s guidance and message to the West. He gave examples of times in history when countries in the West and Asia were ruled by the Ottoman Empire, which he described as an Islamic state, and he said that the Islamic nation is capable of “returning to its former self” and spreading Islam. Sheik Taqi Al-Din added that the entire world will be subject to the rule of Islam in one of three ways: People will either convert to Islam, be forced to pay the jizya poll tax, or be fought against for the sake of Allah.

Abu Taqi Al-Din Al-Dari: Germany and France have begun to grow old, in the sense that their young people do not view marriage as something desirable. People there – especially the youth – have begun to shun marriage, unlike the Muslims. For example, it is said that in 2050, Muslims in France will outnumber the French. But it is not these numbers that we are counting on to turn France into an Islamic country. Not so long ago, only four hundred years ago, at the time of the Ottoman state, Muslims conquered Poland and Austria. The Islamic state reached the walls of Vienna, the capital of Austria, and the call to prayer was recited there. All the countries of the [former] USSR were under the auspices of the Islamic State – the countries of the Caucasus and what is beyond them. Muslim Mongols ruled China until 1644 AD. Muslims conquered Hungary in 1526. In 1537, they conquered parts of Italy, like Otranto. In 1543, under the auspices of the Ottoman state, Muslim armies reached Toulon, in France, and they built a mosque there, in the heart of France. In 1586, India was ruled by Islam. These events portend that the Islamic nation is capable of returning to its former self and spreading Islam, Allah willing.

Thus, the rule of Islam will spread to the entire world, in one of three ways: Conversion to Islam, payment of the jizya poll-tax, or we will ask for Allah’s help and fight them, until the entire world is subject to the rule of Islam.

10 terrorists killed in clashes with troops, as largest counter-terror raid since the Second Intifada continues in Jenin.

The Israeli army’s counter-terror raid in Jenin, dubbed Operation Home and Garden, continued into its second day on Tuesday.

The operation is the largest since the Second Intifada, with some 120 Palestinians wanted on terror charges have been detained by the IDF.

Around 300 improvised explosive devices were seized by troops, along with illegal firearms, ammunition, and other weapons that could be used for terror attacks.

At least 10 Palestinian terrorists have been killed in clashes with troops since the operation began in the early hours of Monday morning, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

According to IDF Chief Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Daniel Hagari, the operation is proceeding on schedule and may end within a matter of days.

Hagari told Hebrew-language media that most of the targets in the IDF’s crosshairs, including weapons storage sites, bomb-making factories, and spaces used as “command centers” for planning and executing terror attacks, were destroyed on the first day of the raid.

Some of those targets were struck aerially by IDF drones, a departure from usual Israeli army operating procedure in Palestinian Authority-controlled enclaves in Judea and Samaria.

Usually, counter-terror raids in the area are carried out via ground troops in armored vehicles.

Ground troops are actively participating in the ongoing raid, with widespread gun battles between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian terrorists throughout Jenin.

“We began this operation with a tactical surprise – we added aerial attacks, and that allowed us to surprise them. Right now, we are moving within the camp,” Hagari told Radio 103 FM.

“There is [ongoing] fighting, but we are still preparing for additional significant battles.”

During a situational assessment late Monday afternoon, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stressed that “the forces in the field have full freedom of action to operate,

He added that “in the last few hours we dealt a heavy blow to the terrorist organizations in Jenin and managed to record impressive operational achievements.”

Three Christian women arrested without charges to go on trial in Iran

Tehran (AsiaNews) – Three Iranian women converts to Christianity will appear in court tomorrow on unknown charges, this according to Article 18, an NGO dedicated to religious freedom in Iran and advocating on behalf of its religious minorities, especially Christians.

Arrested last month, the three women were held incommunicado in Tehran’s Evin prison for 40 days. Indicting people without formal charges is not unusual in Iran, nor is taking Christians into custody only for meeting in private homes to pray.

Officers with the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence arrested Shilan Oraminejad, Razieh (Maral) Kohzady and Zahra (Yalda) Heidary at their respective homes in the early morning on 9 May.

Claiming to have search warrants, agents seized personal effects, including mobile phones, laptops, books and pamphlets “without giving any explanation,” Mehr Ministries report.

The three Christian women were taken to an unknown location. After 40 days incommunicado, they were able to call their families to tell them that they were in Evin prison, but were denied, again without explanation, legal counsel.

After meeting the women, relatives said that “they were not in a good physical condition,” Hamid Hatami, president of Mehr Ministries, told Voice of America Farsi. Since then, Shilan and Zahra have been released on bail pending trial, while Maral remains in custody, he added….

Shaykh al-Kulayni narrates a sahíh (correct) hadith from `Ammãr as-Sãbãti who said: I heard (Imam) Abu `Abdullãh (as-Sãdiq) (a.s.) saying, “A Muslim from among the Muslims who renounces Islam and rejects the prophethood of Muhammad and considers him untrue, then verily his blood is lawful (mubãh) for anyone who hears that from him, his wife is to be separated from him the day he became murtad, his wealth will be divided among his heirs, and his wife will observe the `idda of a widow (i.e., four months). The Imam is obliged to kill him, and not ask him to seek forgiveness.” (Furu al-Kãfi, vol. 7, p. 257)

Persecuted Christians await fate in Libya limbo

Libya (MNN) — Six believers in Libya could soon face the death penalty for sharing their faith.

The group was detained in March as part of a wider crackdown on Christ-followers in Tripoli. Two American missionaries were arrested and deported during the same period.

One of the six believers published a video explaining how she came to Jesus when she was 15 years old.

“The six believers thought maybe they have like freedom now, they can share their faith, and right away, they [were caught] by the security there.” Riadh Jabballah with Voice of the Martyrs Canada says.

Libya’s constitution guarantees religious freedom to non-Muslims. However, it also defines Islam as the state religion. There are no anti-conversion laws per se, but the Constitution’s loose wording provides space for persecution. 

“Libya is a fully Islamic country,” Jabballah says.

“Libyan Christians are particularly vulnerable to persecution, especially those from a Muslim background.”

The six Libyan Christians are still waiting for a court date. “We don’t know exactly what [will] happen to them. Maybe they’ll kill them; nobody knows, so we pray for them,” Jabballah says….

The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)

A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”

Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”

Meanwhile, Islamic law stipulates that the “contract of protection” is ended and a non-Muslim’s life is forfeit if he “leads a Muslim away from Islam”. (Reliance of the Traveller 011.10).

Muslim in Pakistan Confesses to Killing Christian Woman

LAHORE, Pakistan (Morning Star News) – A Christian family in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking justice and protection after four Muslims abducted, gang-raped and killed a widow for refusing to convert to Islam and marry the primary suspect, sources said.

In the killing of 40-year-old Shazia Imran last month, the assailants slashed her neck and doused her with acid, her brother said, though it was not known if the acid burns came before or after her death. The primary suspect has confessed to the killing, according to police.

Shazia Imran’s husband also was killed a year and a half ago, and the family has seen no justice in that case either as police cast it as an accident, said her brother, Zafar Masih.

Shazia Masih, who began working as a nanny at a daycare center at the Lahore University of Management Sciences after her husband’s death, left her rented home in Lahore’s Mehar Town for work on June 6 but did not return, Zafar Masih said. He said that the primary suspect, Noman (known as Mani) Gujjar, was a notorious area criminal and had been pressuring her to convert to Islam along with her children and marry him.

“Shazia did not share this with us due to fears for our security, but three days before her abduction, she told [another relative] that Gujjar had threatened to kill her if she did not surrender to his demand,” Zafar Masih told Morning Star News.

After Shazia Masih’s oldest son, 16, informed Zafar Masih that she had not returned home, he and other relatives began searching for her. Unable to find her, they informed police of her disappearance on June 7.

“Later in the day we received a call from the Hyer police station that they had found a body from a plot that matched Shazia’s description,” Zafar Masih said. “We immediately went to the police station, but when we saw the body, we could not believe our eyes. Shazia’s jugular vein had been slit with a sharp object, and her body had been badly burnt by acid.”….

In yet another incident in Pakistan of a Christian woman murdered for refusing to convert to Islam and marry a Muslim man. The torture of Shazia Imran was particularly brutal as the primary suspect got three other Muslims to join him in gang-raping Shazia and slashing her throat — as the Qur’an directs to be done to infidels (Qur’an 47:4) — and then dousing her with acid. Yet Westerners continue to go along with the “Islamophobia” canard.

“Then, when the sacred months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and besiege them, and prepare for them every ambush. But if they repent and establish prayer and give alms, then leave their way free. Indeed, Allah is forgiving, merciful.” (Qur’an 9:5).

A teen who went missing for more than two days in a massive wilderness park in B.C.'s Lower Mainland last week says she is still recovering from the trauma of her survival ordeal.

Esther Wang, 16, was hiking with fellow cadets in Golden Ears Provincial Park last Tuesday when she became separated from her group, sparking a 40-person mountainside search effort.

The Langley, B.C., teenager was stranded in steep, forested terrain for two nights before walking to safety on Thursday night.

"I am overwhelmed by all the support and care everyone has shown me," Wang wrote in a letter sent to CBC News by her family on Saturday. "And I am forever grateful for everyone involved with the search effort."

In the letter, she publicly shared for the first time details of her harrowing fight to return home, thanking the rescue organizations, RCMP officers and volunteers who sustained the search.

Wang and her family declined an interview request, asking for privacy.

Wang, an outdoor enthusiast and a cadet for four years, described being disoriented and unable to grab the attention of rescue personnel during her ordeal, but also "determined to make my way home." 

Golden Ears Provincial Park is the largest in the Metro Vancouver region, spanning 650 square kilometres of mountainous wilderness north of Maple Ridge, B.C., a municipality east of Vancouver.

Wang and three others — including an adult — set out for a two-day hiking trip on the Golden Ears Trail last Tuesday. But Wang said she became so focused on the steep, challenging path on the first day that she did not notice she'd become separated from the others in her group.

"Once I realized that the rest of my group was no longer in front of me, I tried to turn around," Wang wrote. "But I tripped and fell down ... I tried to stay as calm as possible."

The Regional Cadet Support Unit of the Canadian Armed Forces confirmed Wang's letter was authentic. A spokesperson said she was on a hike with two other cadets and one adult leader.

"We are grateful to hear that Esther attributes her outcome to the skills she learned through the four years she has been in the cadet program," wrote public affairs officer Capt. Jacqueline Zweng in an emailed statement to CBC News.

Freezing and afraid

On Tuesday, as her first night in the backcountry approached, Wang said she heard whistles and noises that sounded like rescue signals. But she could not locate where they were coming from.

She scaled down the mountain to find water, ate the food she had packed for her camping trip, and tried to sleep on cold rocks near a river.

Around 1 a.m. that night, she recounted, she woke up to what she believed were search lights above her on the mountainside.

But her attempts to shine her light in their direction went unnoticed.

"I was filled with hopelessness and fear," she wrote, "but I knew I could not give up."

As dawn broke on Wednesday, she said she decided to climb back up the mountain slope to try to find the trail from which she descended the day before.

But as she tried to locate what she thought were the sounds of whistles, she slipped and hit her head on rocks. She then said she heard "barking" noises far away, and climbed a neighbouring peak hoping to attract rescuers' attention.

Despite her efforts to be seen, rescue remained out of reach. She said she saw a yellow helicopter fly overhead several times, but shaking trees and other attempts to get attention went unseen.

"Everything I tried failed," she said. 

Photo helped orient her

CBC News has reached out to Ridge Meadows RCMP and Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue for comment.

During the search, the RCMP said efforts to ping Wang's cellphone were unsuccessful, because there is little to no reception inside the park.

In her letter, Wang said her cellphone battery died and she later lost the device altogether as she scrambled up a slope.

She said she spent Wednesday night under a tree at the top of a peak.

As the sun rose on Thursday, Wang says it dawned on her that she had taken a series of photos with her digital camera. When she looked through the camera, she recognized one of the pictures as matching a snowy peak her hiking group had seen in the distance just two days earlier. 

The photograph helped her orient herself and she decided to follow a river.

That's when she found her first sign of relief.

"I noticed pink tape on some trees around me and my hopes soared high," she wrote.

Soon, the river led to a gravel path to a beach, where there was a sign with directions to a parking lot.

That left her "filled with relief." 

'I recognized my parents'

It was just after 9 p.m. Thursday when Wang spotted the parking lot, where she found her parents waiting for updates from searchers.

Paramedics examined scratches and bruises on her arms and legs, and where her feet had bled from wet boots rubbing on her skin. 

Wang says the experience has left her with gratitude, but also physical and mental trauma she is only now beginning to come to terms with.

"My body and mind are still recovering and processing what happened," she wrote.

She credited her faith, and her training in cadets, for her safe return.

"I believe God led me home to my safety," she said. "The sheer willpower to keep moving forward is the reason I am still alive," said Wang.

Rioters rammed a burning car into the home of a mayor of a town outside Paris, injuring his wife and child in what he has branded as an ‘assassination attempt’.

The attack in the early house (hours) of Sunday on Vincent Jeanbrun’s home in the Paris suburb of L’Hay-les-Roses came as 719 people were arrested in France following widespread rioting.

Mayor Vincent Jeanbrun wrote on Twitter that protesters had ‘rammed a car’ into his home before ‘setting a fire’ while his family slept. Following the attack, he vowed to ‘not back down’ and said his ‘determination to protect and serve the Republic is greater than ever’.

It was the fifth consecutive night of disturbances since the death of Nahel Merzouk, 17, who was allegedly ‘executed’ by police during a traffic stop.

He's certainly been executed, character-wise, by the media and the government without due process.

Merzouk’s death on Tuesday has spawned anger across the country. He was laid to rest Saturday in a Muslim ceremony in his hometown of Nanterre, a Paris suburb where emotion over his loss remains raw.

The fast-spreading chaos is posing a new challenge to President Emmanuel Macron’s leadership and exposing deep-seated discontent in low-income (read - Muslim) neighbourhoods over discrimination and lack of opportunity.

Mr Jeanbrun said his wife and one of his children were injured in the ram-raid, which he believed was attempted murder.

He said: ‘Last night, a milestone was reached in horror and ignominy. My home was attacked and my family was the victim of an assassination attempt.

‘At 1:30 a.m., while I was at the town hall, as for the past three nights, individuals launched a car at my home before setting it on fire, so as to set fire to my house, in which my wife was sleeping and my two young children.

‘All of this was skillfully orchestrated, without consideration for the lives inside the house.’…

Or, worse, maybe with consideration for the lives inside the house.

I arrived in Paris yesterday and traveled to a city in the south of France. It’s one thing to read about it, another to see it with your own eyes. I walked through the streets of that southern city today. Shops destroyed, emptied of all contents: Swarovski, Orange, Apple stores. Most stores now boarded up. Will they dare to open on Monday? I don’t know. So far, 100 million euros of damage has been estimated; the amount is bound to rise.

An attempt to burn down the house of a mayor in the north; he happened to be at his office, but his wife and two small children were inside and escaped — just barely — with their lives.

About 50,000 extra police now on the streets. The Macron government still refuses to declare a state of emergency as politicians to his right have demanded.  

Macron condemned the policeman — a much decorated officer, with several medals for bravery — as guilty of an “inexplicable” and “unforgivable” act.  As far as the policeman is concerned, there is no presumption of innocence.

The presumption of innocence is another victim of Islamic hysteria. Macron has a lot to lose by throwing his policemen under the bus.

Shocking, disgusting and cowardly: A group of “youths” attacked Jewish visitors to the Holocaust memorial in Frankfurt today, Thursday. Only verbally at first, then even bottles flew. The perpetrators kept shouting “Allahu akbar.”

Particularly precarious: 25 guests from all over the world were at the memorial when the attack took place. It was a visitor program for children and grandchildren of Jews who were born in Frankfurt and were persecuted. It commemorates the deportation of Frankfurt Jews during the National Socialist era – and gave an impression of what Germany will be like in 2023.

Mayor Mike Josef (SPD) was horrified in the FAZ: “This is completely unacceptable.” The incident proves that the “fight against anti-Semitism and racism is an ongoing one, unfortunately also in our city.”

Authorities are investigating fugitive offenders

A city employee is said to have rebuked the cowardly anti-Semitic attackers. The “FAZ” reports from Frankfurt that the perpetrators then apologized and then fled. The state security determined because of attempted serious bodily harm. (??)

Protesters break into Swedish embassy in Baghdad

Demonstrators breached the perimeter of the Swedish embassy in Baghdad Thursday, a day after a protester (an Iraqi migrant) burned a copy of the Quran (after filling it with bacon) in Sweden.

The protests in the Iraqi capital were ordered by the powerful Iraqi Shia cleric, Muqtada al-Sadr, who also called for the expulsion of the Swedish ambassador in Baghdad.

Videos circulating on social media showed some protesters climbing over a barricaded wall outside the embassy. It is unclear how far into the building they got, before withdrawing….

An Iraqi security source confirmed to CNN that the incident was over. The AFP news agency reported that the protestors were inside the compound for about 15 minutes.

The protests in Baghdad came after an incident in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, on Wednesday, when a man burned a copy of Islam’s holy book outside a mosque. Images of the event showed he was the only person apart from his translator at the demonstration, which coincided with the Muslim holiday of Eid-al-Adha, one of the most significant in the Islamic calendar.

Al Sadr demanded authorities withdraw the Iraqi nationality of Salwan Momika – the organizer of the one-man Quran protest in Stockholm – who immigrated to left Iraq for Sweden five years ago.

“If freedom of speech is guaranteed to Iraq and the world, then the believers have to express their views on the burning of the holy books… through massive angry protests against the Swedish embassy in Iraq,” Al Sadr said….

1,300 arrested, 79 officers hurt in 4th night of rioting across France

July 1 (UPI) -- More than 1,300 people were arrested and 79 police officers were injured overnight Saturday as anti-racism protests surged across France for a fourth consecutive night.

The French Interior Ministry said 45,000 police and gendarmes backed by light armored vehicles were mobilized across the country as France reeled from the fallout of over the shooting death of 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk, who was killed by police during a traffic stop in a Paris suburb on Tuesday.

Authorities said the French National Police and the Paris Police Prefecture were also mobilized overnight to "maintain and restore republican order" and to counter offenses and disturbances.

President Emmanuel Macron postponed a planned state visit to Germany scheduled for Sunday to deal with the continuing violence, his office announced.

The government's inter-ministerial crisis unit met again early Saturday to assess the level of damage during the fourth night of riots, which Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin characterized as less intense than previous evenings during an appearance with police in Mantes-la-Jolie, about 35 miles west Paris.

Local officials, however, reported "unprecedented" waves of looting and violence in cities across the country overnight, including in Lyon, where Mayor Grégory Doucet appealed for police reinforcements to aid local gendarmes who were "overwhelmed" by the scale of the rioting.

It is clear that France does not have control over Islamic madness and it is certain that things will only get worse as the Muslim population in France increases.

Doucet said mobile bands of young people on foot, bicycles and scooters had attacked and looted 40 shops in the city and had burned 20 vehicles.

Official buildings were also targeted by attackers in the latest wave of rioting, including city halls in the northern cities of Lens and Oise.

The latest rioting came ahead of funeral services for Nahel, which got underway in the Paris suburb of Nanterre on Saturday.

Hundreds of mourners chanting and crying followed the body of Nahel from a mosque to the Mont-Valérien cemetery in Nanterre, where he will be laid to rest, Britain's Independent reported.

Paris – They hate the police. They despise the state. And quite obviously some of the young rioters in France also hate Jewish people.

After the death of 17-year-old Nahel M., who was shot by a police officer, chaotic groups in the Paris suburb of Nanterre sprayed hateful slogans on a Holocaust memorial. On a video you can see that someone scrawled the words “F*** the police – dog gang – we will give you a shoah” on the memorial. Like “Holocaust,” the “Shoah” is a term for the murder of six million Jews during the Nazi era.

Under the motto of the memorial “For the martyrs of deportation” someone sprayed “police mob.” Next to it is “F*** le 17”, the title of a rap song in which the police are badly incited. In France, dial 17 to reach the Gendarmerie.

Another video posted to Twitter also shows a man attempting to light a French flag in front of the memorial.

Many observers are shocked that the rioters, many of them apparently with a Muslim background, chose a location for their vandalism that is supposed to commemorate the victims of the murder of the Jews. The European Jewish Congress tweeted: “It is truly horrific to see the memorial to the martyrs of the deportations in Nanterre vandalized. This is a shameless act that does not respect the memory of the victims of the Holocaust. He must be fully condemned and those responsible must be held accountable.”

Father Francis Palle beaten up and left unconscious

Father Francis Palle, 80 years old and member of the congregation of Saint Vincent de Paul in Saint-Étienne, was brutally attacked by rioters. The events unfolded on Friday, June 30, leaving Father Palle seriously injured and unconscious.

According to eyewitnesses, a group of rioters suddenly attacked Father Palle, surrounding and targeting him for no apparent reason. They hit him with extreme force, knocking him hard to the ground. Worse still, these individuals continued to beat him when he was already on the ground, leaving the priest in critical condition.

In addition to this brutal attack, the attackers also committed a theft by taking Father Palle’s mobile phone and wallet.

Local authorities were quickly alerted and dispatched an emergency team to the scene. Father Palle was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where he is currently receiving intensive care for his serious injuries.

This brutal attack sparked outrage and dismay within the local community and beyond. Members of the Congregation of Saint Vincent de Paul, as well as many residents, rallied to condemn this act of inexcusable violence and expressed their support and prayers for Father Palle’s speedy recovery.

Upon arrival, they were exposed to smashed windows, doors forced open and paneling ripped out in anger. The furniture on the stage where the pulpit is located was also overturned, reports the media Info Chrétienne.

In addition to the material damage, tags were found on the walls of the enclosure. “The last prophet is Mohamed,” “Jesus is not God,” we can read. An act of an anti-Christian nature, without a doubt, as Romain Choisnet, director of communication for the National Council of Evangelicals of France, pointed out on Twitter.

They spelled "last" wrong. It should be spelled "lost". They can tell Jesus that He is not God when they stand before Him in Judgment, I'm sure He'll understand.

The pastor of the church, a member of the National Council of Evangelicals of France in Bouches-du-Rhône, filed a complaint. The National Council of Evangelicals of France, through Romain Choisnet, has shared its support and prayers with the faithful of the vandalized church and hopes that the culprits will be quickly found and punished.
