Jesus never started a day without first listening to His Father. We can hardly do better.

Ozzone 1-17 > When the life of Jesus is revealed in me in this way, I will serve God’s purposes all the time

 

Ozzone 1-16 > Are you listening for the Call of God?

 

The call of God may be to some great life-long adventure, or it may be for some mundane act for that day. Listening for the Voice of God is arguably the most vital part of our walk with Jesus. Like Jesus, when He walked the Earth, we need to start every day by listening to God, lest we go into battle each day without marching orders, completely unprepared for the fight.

Ozzone 1-14 > Have you heard the call of God? Are you even listening?

 

Ozzone 1-13 > When God gets us totally alone, then He begins to teach us.

 

Ozzone 1-12 > Do you allow God to get you alone to expose the flaws in your character?

 

Ozzone 1-11 > Your obedience to God may cost others, but you must let it happen

 

Ozzone 1-9 > Are you willing to let God search you to make your body, soul and spirit blameless until Jesus comes

 

Ozzone 1-6 > Neither jump about like a spiritual frog, nor withdraw from the world like a monk or ascetic

 

Ozzone 1-3 > The only possible way to have full understanding of the teachings of Jesus is through the light of the Spirit of God shining inside us.

 

Ozzone 12-15 > Can you speak the truths of God in your own words? If not, you will be the poorer for it, and so will those around you.

 

Ozzie tells us that we need to be able to re-articulate the truths of God in order for them to be of any value to those to whom we minister. I also believe that we need to articulate those truths in our own words in order to really understand them.

Ozzone 12-13 > Intercession – so much more than just saying a prayer

 

Ozzone 11-23 > Never allow worry or contempt to distract you from God

 

Ozzone 11-9 > Are you leading people to be born again or just to a refined spiritual culture? The line of attraction is always the line of appeal.

 

Ozzone 11-4> Never allow a truth of God that is brought home to your soul to pass without acting on it, one way or another

 

#Ozzone 11-1 > Are you merrily driving down the Freeway of Life, or are you of value to God?

 

As a Christian, are you on the Freeway of Life like most of the traffic? God wants you to take the next exit, to get out on the byways and the back roads where real people live. People die on freeways, but nobody lives on one. Get out onto the dirt roads through the mountains and valleys. God has people there for you to meet and reveal Himself to. It might not be the most pleasant drive; you may even break down at times. But God will be with you, and you will be of use to Him and to others.

Ozzone 10-27> Listen to the Call of God; then Go, and then watch God display His power

 

Seldom do you see the power of God until someone has stepped out in obedience to God’s command to “Go”

Ozzone 10-26> Don’t judge your ministry by the results but by your obedience to the call of God

 

Ozzone 10-22 > Are you abandoned to God? He can’t testify to you until you are completely abandoned to Him.

 

Ozzone 10-21> Are you impulsive? Stop it! Impulsiveness is fine in a child but disastrous in an adult
