In France, clergy are naive enough to think that Muslims will respond to their kindness. A Bordeaux Bishop found out otherwise. The rude Muslim is more the norm in France than an outlier. Will the church and the government ever learn the reality of Islam?

As happens now in a great many French towns and cities, Muslim migrants choose to set out their wares — cheap wares from China, better merchandise that was shoplifted from stores or taken in street muggings and house burglaries — on shabby rugs spread on the ground right outside the entry to churches. In this way, they place themselves in the very center of urban activity, given the centrality of these churches, and at the same time, they physically interfere with congregants wanting to enter or exit the church. The noise, too, of these “merchants” advertising their goods wafts into the church, interfering with the solemn services taking place within. It’s what the Infidels, “the most vile of creative beings” (Qur’an 98:6) deserve.
Instead of complaining to the authorities to remove these Muslim markets, the Christian clergy bend over backward to show lovingkindness to the Muslims. At the Bordeaux church of St. Michel, the priest comes out of the church after every Mass to bless the Muslim merchants, who are not at all impressed. In one recent incident, the bishop himself came out to bless the “Muslim market.” And for his pains, one Muslim spat directly in his face, leaving the good bishop stunned. None of the other Muslims in the crowd offered words of sympathy to the bishop, nor any chastisement of the man who had done the spitting. No doubt the bishop will return, unfazed, to bless those Muslims yet again. Now some of them have followed up on the spitting incident by moving inside the church itself, along with their wares, staking a claim to Christian territory for their own use. It will be fascinating to see if the police will finally remove them, not just from inside the church, but also from the parvis outside the main entry, confiscating their goods, and charging them both with unlawful blocking of the church entry, and with deliberate interference — their loud chatter — of the church services.
Can you imagine what would have happened if the roles had been reversed? Imagine a market of Christian vendors setting up shop — displaying their wares on the ground — just outside a mosque, blocking the movement of the Believers. Imagine an imam, or a senior Muslim cleric, coming out of the mosque to extend his good wishes to those Christians, only to find himself being spat upon by a Christian. Would he, like the bishop in Bordeaux, turn the other cheek? Of course not. Those Christians would have been beaten senseless on the spot.
What will happen to the Muslims sitting in front of the entryway to the church of St. Michel in Bordeaux, making it harder for worshippers to go in and out? Who will tell them to move away from the entry so that worshippers are not inconvenienced, or tell them they must move as well because their joking, swearing, yelling to one another in their guttural Arabic, and calling out to passersby in French about the splendid bargains that they have for sale, makes it hard for worshippers to follow the service within?
Nothing will happen unless the Muslims with their street market on the ground just outside the church of St. Michel are forcibly removed. The French don’t want to cause a violent reaction among the Muslims in Bordeaux. Better to say nothing, and hope that eventually the Muslim street sellers will move their “market” to another spot. And if they don’t? I don’t think the French police will at this point forcibly move those Muslims away from the church parvis. But the residents of Bordeaux who have seen that unsettling and menacing spectacle, or seen the video of the bishop being spat at, will go home, now more intent than ever to vote for the candidates — Marine Le Pen, Eric Zemmour, Eric Ciotti — who are most likely to be willing to enact laws putting an end to Muslim immigration, and to begin a relentless policy of repatriation, both of those Muslims in the country illegally, including those who have stayed on even though they have been subject to deportation orders, and of those who, the government can determine, are not true “refugees,” but merely economic migrants. The scene of the Muslim spitting in the Bishop’s face has gone viral. It will have, thank god, its unintended consequences, as the French antipathy to these migrants grows and grows.
Switzerland: Muslim Migrant Woman Lived Off the State
for Nearly Two Decades, is Finally Deported
The welfare queens of New York and Chicago have nothing on this Turkish lady. She’s been contentedly living in Switzerland for the past 40 years, receiving generous social benefits and for the last 17 years, not working a single day. Recently, at long last, she was ordered to leave the country. More on her story can be found here.
A Turkish national who had been living in Switzerland for over 40 years has been expelled from the country and ordered to return home after the Swiss Federal Court ruled she had failed to integrate and lived off social welfare benefits for nearly two decades.
The woman had moved to Switzerland in 1983 at the age of 19 with her then-husband and started a family in the country. She had been subject to a settlement permit that was to be applied for and extended every five years, according to Solothurner Zeitung.
After separating from her husband in 2006, she lived on taxpayer-funded benefits for nearly 17 years from March 2006 until August 2022, receiving a total handout of over €373,000 in social welfare during that time.
How much, one wonders, did her former husband receive in social benefits as well — or was he gainfully employed during the last 40 years? And what about this lady’s children — did they also receive social benefits once they reached the age of majority? What was the total cost to Swiss taxpayers of paying for the members of this Muslim family that had lived in the country for 40 years? What conceivable contribution did any of them make to Swiss society, to its economic wellbeing, or to its cultural cohesion, in all that time?
After initially caring for her children, the woman never sought employment after they grew up, instead opting to continue living off the state.
When it came to applying for the latest extension to her settlement permit in July 2020, the Migration Office of the Canton of Solothurn refused her application, a decision she appealed to the Solothurn administrative court….
The Federal Court said that immigration officials had “rightly assumed that there was an important public interest in revoking the settlement permit” and noted that the complainant had “already received a large sum of social assistance money” and should not be entitled to further handouts moving forward….
One can fault the Swiss welfare system for having allowed this outrageous behavior – her refusing even to look for a job, and her determination to live solely on what the state provided – to continue for so long. Why did it take 17 years to finally decide to deport her? Why not have set a maximum number of years — say, three – that any immigrant could remain unemployed, after which he, or she, would be automatically subject to deportation?
Every year, using money she received from the Turkish government, this woman returned to Turkey on vacation, the country she had been born in and lived until the age of 19, and where she still had friends and family. She was not, in other words, being deported to a place where she no longer had connections. There would be no linguistic problems — she was a native speaker of Turkish — and no problem integrating into Turkish society which, in effect, she had never left even while geographically displaced.
This woman is emblematic of too many Muslim economic migrants now flooding into Europe. They claim asylum status — though it is hard to imagine what these so-called “refugees” were fleeing from in Turkey, where currently there is no war or persecution. What most interests them is not the political liberties the countries of the advanced West offer them, but the material benefits the generous welfare states of Europe offer those who gain entry. Almost everywhere in western Europe (eastern Europe is a different matter), Muslim immigrants can count on free or heavily subsidized housing, free medical care, free education, unemployment benefits (without a record of employment), family allowances, and more. These migrants, who are overwhelmingly Muslims from North Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey, are costing the European taxpayers large sums. For example, in Germany in 2022 spending on migrants rose to 28.4 billion euros, or $32 billion USD. Such sums are unsustainable, and anger over such costs, as well as over the crimes and the societal disruption attributed to Muslim migrants, has led to the meteoric rise in Germany of the anti-Muslim-immigrant party, Alternative für Deutschland; in France, alarm over Muslims already in the country has led to a severe tightening of restrictions on immigration, with President Macron adopting much of the program long promoted by Marine Le Pen, including withholding benefits to immigrants for the first five years of their residence in France; in the Netherlands, unease over the growing Muslim presence has led to the rise in popularity of Geert Wilders and his anti-Muslim-immigrant Party for Freedom (PVV), that now holds the most seats in the Dutch Parliament.
This Turkish woman’s livin’-is-easy existence in Switzerland for 40 years, and especially in the last 17 years, when for nearly the last two decades she lived entirely off the state, and did not work a single day, represents what too many Muslims in Europe have chosen to do, which is to live on benefits, supplementing them with the take from street robberies, house burglaries, and the drug trade. Now, after enduring her parasitic existence for 17 years, the Swiss have had enough. Let’s hope that her case represents a harbinger of things to come as her case prompts many other similar cases — perhaps hundreds of thousands of them across Europe — involving the Muslim economic migrants in Europe who, after having received so much, thanks to the naive benevolence of left-wing Western supporters of unhindered immigration, will now find themselves provided with a new address by the harassed Infidel governments of Western Europe: “Return to Sender.”
Norway: Muslima jailed for 19 months for
ramming vehicle of man who burned Qur’an
Look how AFP slants its story. The person who chased and rammed the car is repeatedly described as a “woman.” That’s it. A “woman.” Meanwhile, the man who stood up for the freedom of expression at risk of life and limb is called an “extremist,” and others like him are called “militants.” Remember, those are common euphemisms the establishment media uses for terrorists.
Also, look at the last line: “While presented as an expression of freedom of speech, governments in Muslim majority countries have protested the burnings.”
So does the fact that Muslim governments have protested the burnings mean that the burnings are no longer an expression of freedom of speech? The Muslim governments’ outrage trumps the freedom of expression?
The worst aspect of this is that AFP isn’t even close to being the worst establishment media outlet.
Woman jailed over car-chase with Norway anti-Islam activist
AFP, January 27, 2024:
A Norwegian court has jailed for 19 months a woman who chased and then rammed a vehicle carrying an anti-Islam extremist who had just burned a Koran.
The woman was found guilty of an attempt to inflict serious bodily harm, according to the judgement, of which AFP received a copy on Friday.
The incident happened minutes after Lars Thoren, head of the Stop The Islamisation of Norway group, had burned a copy of the Koran outside a mosque in the Oslo suburbs.
Two women in a grey Mercedes went after him in a pursuit that was filmed and posted on social media.
Thoren’s sports utility truck was rammed and turned over onto its roof but none of the five occupants were seriously hurt.
The 49-year-old woman jailed was not driving at the time, but the car belonged to her and she was a passenger at the time. The court said she was guilty of having encouraged the chase….
Thoren is among a group of militants in Scandinavian countries, also including Rasmus Paludan, who have caused anger by burning copies of the Koran in Muslim districts of major cities.
While presented as an expression of freedom of speech, governments in Muslim-majority countries have protested the burnings.
