Kathrada doesn’t say that Palestine is “Palestinian” land, or even Arab land. Either one of those would have made sense within the prevailing Western assumption that the conflict between Israel and the “Palestinians” is over competing claims to the same parcel of land, and a “two-state solution” would fix everything. Instead, Kathrada insists that Palestine is Islamic land. His conflict with Israel is based entirely upon Islam, and its claim to have a right to any land that Sharia once ruled, which is in turn based on Qur’an 2:191. In his July 31, 2026 Friday sermon at the Muslim Youth Victoria Islamic center in British Columbia, Canadian Islamic scholar Younus Kathrada said that Palestine is Muslim land and that no “infidel,” which he clarified to mean a non-Muslim, can rule it….

Younus Kathrada: “Filastin or Palestine is a Muslim land. Palestine, Filastin is a land of the prophets. No disbeliever. No infidel…

“No non-Muslim has any right in ruling or governing it, that is, in governing and ruling Palestine with disbelief and atheism. They cannot rule by democracy or any of these other non-Muslim laws.

“The Jewish claim—because you’re going to hear this all the time—the Jewish claim that Allah promised them the Holy Land is absolutely baseless. It is only a fantasy. It’s a myth. In fact, Allah dedicated this land for Muslims in all times.

“So these Jews—who disbelieve in Muhammad and therefore also disbelieve in Moses—they have no right to rule Palestine.

A Jewish physician in Sweden has come forward with allegations that he was subjected to antisemitic harassment by a colleague at a Stockholm health center before his consulting contract was ended — an account the healthcare company disputes — intensifying concern over antisemitism and political activism within the country’s healthcare system.

According to the Swedish newspaper Expressen, Gregory-Zvi Wirschubsky, a 69-year-old consultant physician at a Meliva health center in Stockholm, said the incident occurred last year. He recounted being confronted by a colleague during a coffee break who asked whether he was Jewish and, after he said yes, accused him of “killing Palestinian children.”

Wirschubsky said he replied that he had no connection to the Israeli military and had lived in Sweden since the age of seven, but that the colleague continued, telling him, “You can go to hell, you f___ing Jew,” before he ended the conversation. He said several coworkers witnessed the exchange but did not intervene.

He reported the incident to his manager, arguing that it amounted to discrimination and noting that staff had previously agreed not to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict at work. Management said the matter would be handled internally, he said, but he was later told his consulting assignment had been terminated with no explanation. Because he was placed through a staffing agency rather than employed directly, the health center could end the placement with one month’s notice and was not obliged to give a reason. Wirschubsky said he does not believe his assignment ended because he is Jewish, but rather because of tensions surrounding the war between Israel and Hamas. He said the center’s medical director supported his account and pressed management for answers, receiving only a vague reply that the episode had been exaggerated.

Wirschubsky is wrong. He was discharged precisely because he was Jewish, and only after he made his complaint about a colleague’s antisemitic outburst. The Meliva health center, of course, was not about to admit that that was the reason for his dismissal.

Meliva rejected the allegation of discrimination. The company said it had conducted a thorough investigation and found no evidence that Wirschubsky’s Jewish background influenced its decision, characterizing the episode as “a personal conflict.” It said neither Wirschubsky nor the colleague who allegedly made the remark is still employed by the company, and that “discrimination and antisemitism are incompatible with Meliva’s values.”

Then we must assume that the doctor who verbally assaulted Dr. Wirschubsky has been disciplined or else the company is hypocritical.

Wirschubsky was dismissed from his job with the Meliva health center. His antisemitic colleague was not dismissed, but left voluntarily.

Apparently a public attack on a Jewish colleague as “you f*****g Jew” was not sufficient for the speaker to be reprimanded, much less fired. Nor did any of the other doctors who witnessed this antisemitic outburst say a word about it. It was instead the Jewish doctor who, after he complained about the episode, was fired from his job. Swedish doctors, wearing their medical attire, along with nurses and other medical personnel at Karolinska University Hospital, recently staged a pro-Palestinian demonstration right at the entry to their hospital. This certainly created an unwelcoming environment at the hospital for Jewish doctors and patients alike.

Antisemitism has long been a problem in Swedish hospitals, especially at Karolinska University Hospital. In 2018, Jewish physicians working there reported years of bullying, which included lower salaries, restricted access to patients and research, and being blocked from operating despite superior qualifications. Rather than addressing the harassment, hospital management allegedly retaliated against Jewish whistleblowers and sought to silence them. The allegations resulted in major legal battles and rulings against the hospital. In the best-known case, a Swedish Labor Court ruled in 2022 that Karolinska had illegally fired Dr. Svensson, a Jewish doctor on its staff, for complaining about the antisemitic bullying he experienced, and awarded him damages.

But as we see in this latest case — the antisemitic harassment of Dr. Wirschubsky by a colleague, his complaint about that harassment, and his subsequent dismissal — the Swedish medical establishment has a long way to go in fighting antisemitism in its ranks. Keep up the discrimination and whistleblower lawsuits, Jewish doctors. No appeals to decency will work to make the Karolinska University Hospital, or the Meliva health center, or other medical facilities in Sweden, crack down on antisemitism. But a hit to the wallets of the offending institutions will work wonders.

Syrian Muslim Migrant Breaks Spine of Elderly German Wearing an Israeli Flag Pin

The latest eruption of murderous antisemitism in Germany: a Syrian Muslim migrant, having noticed that an elderly man standing beside him at a bus stop was wearing an Israeli flag pin, proceeded to attack him in what the police said was attempted murder. His victim did not die, but his spine was broken.

Syrian man breaks 65-year-old’s spine over Israel pin

Höchberg (Bavaria) – Horrific violence against a 65-year-old man in the Würzburg district! A 20-year-old Syrian man allegedly beat and seriously injured the man because he was wearing a pin featuring an Israeli flag. The Public Prosecutor’s Office is investigating on suspicion of attempted murder.

As BILD learned, the Syrian man was standing next to the victim at a traffic light in Höchberg (Bavaria) during the night leading into Monday when he spotted the pin on the German man’s clothing. He reportedly first spoke to the man about it and then suddenly punched him in the face; the man attempted to flee, but the perpetrator caught up with him and knocked him to the ground.

The Syrian man reportedly kicked the victim repeatedly in the head and upper body. Police eventually arrived, at which point the 20-year-old attacked the officers. Multiple patrol car crews were required to arrest the 20-year-old. Police spokesperson Maximilian Basser: “A police officer sustained minor injuries during the incident.” Senior Public Prosecutor Sebastian Murrer confirmed reports by *BILD* that the victim suffered a severe spinal injury: “In addition to numerous bruises, the 65-year-old sustained a vertebral fracture.”

According to Konstantin Mack (29), chairman of the German-Israeli Society (DIG) in Würzburg, the victim is a member of the DIG. Mack told *BILD*: “We are appalled. He is in the intensive care unit. We hope there will be no permanent damage. Further examinations will have to determine that.”

The Public Prosecutor’s Office is classifying the act as attempted murder. The presiding investigating judge concurred, issuing an arrest warrant for the Syrian man, who was already known to authorities as a violent offender. He had harassed visitors at the Höchberg town fair hours earlier and had been stopped by the police as a result.

If the Syrian was known to the police as a violent offender, why had he not been deported back to Syria where, given the change in regime in December 2024, he could no longer claim to require “asylum” in Germany?

The DIG has called for a rally against antisemitic violence to be held on Friday at 5 p.m. in Würzburg’s market square: “Clear opposition is needed—on the streets, in political alliances, and wherever anti-Zionism is passed off as legitimate protest.”

This Syrian, “already known to authorities” for his violence, ought long before this have had his asylum claim rejected, and he should have been deported back to Syria. The failure of the German authorities to remove him led to his attempted murder of a supporter of Israel, who survived but with his spine broken. No, we need once again to insist, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel was wrong when she announced, while letting nearly a million migrants into her country in 2015, “wir schaffen das!” — “we can do this.” By this she meant that “we Germans can successfully integrate these mostly Muslim migrants into our society.” No. Germans, you really can’t.
