Greece: Muslim migrant says he murdered Scottish migration advocate because he is a jihadist and she was a Christian

There you have it: a violent Muslim who openly admits to being a jihadist. Now what will authorities in Greece, as well as in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain do? Will they tell him, “No, you aren’t?” Will they force him to enroll in a “deradicalization” program, so that he can learn that jihad is a peaceful interior spiritual struggle? Will they claim that he is mentally ill, as they have claimed of so very many other jihadis? One thing is certain: they won’t take his statement at face value. They won’t study Islam and jihad in order to understand the mindset of people such as Sharif Ahmadzai. Above all, they won’t take any steps to protect their people from other jihadists. To do that would be “Islamophobic.”

Athens suitcase suspect ‘told victim’s friends he was jihadist who murdered her because she was Christian'

A man suspected of murdering a British woman in Athens allegedly told her friends and family he was a jihadist who murdered her because she was Christian.

Sharif Ahmadzai, 26, also sent the message to his American wife and other friends of Elisabeth-Jane Ross, who was found dead in a suitcase just days ago.

Ahmadzai, an Afghan migrant who arrived in Greece by small boat in 2016, is due to appear in court in Athens today.

The migrant, who is also a professional boxer, married Alaina Hall in 2023, after they met at a refugee centre in Athens.

The pair went on to run a pro-migrant NGO called Love Every Nation Athens after marrying, and have one child together despite opposition from Mrs Hall’s family.

Ahmadzai is said to have denied killing 38-year-old Ms Ross in police interviews, claiming he found her dead in the bathroom of an apartment.

He is now accused of sending messages to Ms Ross’s family and friends from the Briton’s phone before switching off the device.

He then allegedly bought a burner phone and texted her friends and his wife, claiming to be a jihadist who killed Ms Ross because of her Christian faith, according to local media reports….

The couple’s website claims his father, a military commander in Kabul, survived six assassination attempts but was eventually killed by the Taliban when he was four.

His older brother was later kidnapped by the terrorist group, and his mother, brother and sister were killed in a suicide car bomb, according to the site….

Notice that this is solely Ahmadzai’s unsuppported claim.

Red Cross deletes sympathetic film about Afghan migrant now accused of killing British woman and hiding her body in a suitcase

The Red Cross has deleted a film tracking the journey of an Afghan migrant who is now accused of killing a British woman and hiding her body in a suitcase in Greece.

Sharif Ahmadzai, 26, was arrested on Monday over the murder of Scottish Christian Elisabeth-Jane Ross, in Athens.

Ahmadzai, a professional boxer who arrived in Greece on a small boat in 2016, is accused of killing Ms Ross before stuffing her body into a suitcase and ditching it in a derelict building.

The 38-year-old’s body was found by a homeless man on July 18, three days after she is believed to have been killed.

It has now emerged the Afghan-national collaborated with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and a London artist to create a film following how he escaped Afghanistan and reached the Greek island of Lesbos aged 15.

The four-minute animated film, named Game of Life: The Story of Sharif, was first shown on YouTube in December 2016, and includes a narration of his six-week migrant crossing.

The sympathetic video follows how his father, who was a military commander, was killed in an ambush and his mother and siblings were killed by a suicide bomb attack in Kabul.

Ahmadzai, accompanied by friends, was then smuggled out of Afghanistan’s capital and journeyed through Iran and Turkey, before he reached a refugee camp on Lesbos, named Moria.

The interview was conducted in Moria, and took place after Ahmadzai had been in the camp for six months.

The video opens with, ‘each migrant has a story worthy of a Hollywood movie’….

Man arrested after allegedly threatening people with an axe in Vancouver

A man was arrested in Vancouver after allegedly threatening people with an axe, police say.

Vancouver police received reports that a man was “threatening passersby, throwing cutlery toward a restaurant storefront, and smashing plates on the restaurant’s patio” near Main Street and 24th Avenue Thursday evening (Aug. 6), a news release Friday says.

Police say the officers responded immediately and found the suspect “within minutes.”

He was taken into custody with help from the Vancouver Police Department’s Canine Unit.

The suspect, a 29-year-old, was taken to hospital with injuries. He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Charges have not yet been approved.

Shahid Butt has urged his young supporters to knock their enemies’ “teeth out”

A convicted Islamist terrorist is running for local office in the British city of Birmingham. Shahid Butt has urged voters to overlook his past “mistakes,” which include conspiring to bomb the British consulate in Yemen.

In an interview with Birmingham Live this week, Butt described himself as the “ideal candidate” to “unite” his district of Sparkhill in city council elections this May. Two-thirds of Sparkhill’s residents are of Pakistani origin, while a third of Birmingham’s 1.1 million population is Muslim.

Butt was jailed for five years in Yemen in 1999, after being found guilty of planning attacks with a gang of Jihadists on the British consulate in Aden, an Anglican church, and a Swiss-owned hotel.

He maintains that he did nothing wrong, and that his confession was extracted under torture. “It was all just made up,” he told the Birmingham Mail. “Nobody actually died, nothing happened at all.”

He has admitted to “mistakes” in his past, however. Butt was a member of a Pakistani street gang in his youth, which fought with white skinhead gangs in 1980s Birmingham. He also admits to traveling to fight in Afghanistan and Bosnia in the 1990s alongside the son of convicted terrorist Abu Hamza.

Butt, who describes himself as an “Islamist,” is a member of the Independent Candidates Alliance (ICA), a group of Muslim candidates set up by lawyer and accused money launderer Akhmed Yakoob. The ICA is running 20 candidates across Birmingham in the upcoming elections.

“I am not a pacifist,” Butt told Birmingham Live. “If someone attacks me...I am not just going to turn the other cheek, I am going to defend myself. I will be pre-emptive, as the law advises me, if I feel like my life is threatened, or my family, I will do a pre-emptive strike.”

He has advised his fellow Muslims to follow his approach. “Muslims are not pacifists,” he told protesters before local team Aston Villa’s match against Maccabi Tel Aviv last November. “If somebody comes into your face, you knock his teeth out. That’s my message to the youth.”

ABC News Doesn’t Mention Its Interviewee in Gaza Belongs to Hamas

Amazing, isn’t it, how little due diligence our major networks perform when it comes to reporting on the war in Gaza. They accept, without questioning, Hamas-supplied figures on the numbers of killed and wounded, and on how many are women and children. They show photographs of “children killed in Gaza” who turn out to have been children killed in Yemen. They show “starving children in Gaza” who turn out to be children “starving” far from Gaza, and some who are not starving at all but have congenital diseases that make them appear to be starving. They conduct interviews with “journalists” who turn out to be members of Hamas; some of those “journalists” have even taken part in the atrocities carried out on October 7, 2023.

Take, for example, ABC’s latest interview with someone in Gaza, a certain Mahmoud Bassal, described by ABC only as an “emergency responder searching for Gazan civilians.” More on Bassal, and ABC’s failure to properly identify him, can be found here: 

ABC News Fails to Acknowledge Interviewee Is Hamas Spokesperson

In Gaza, every public institution falls under the direct supervision of Hamas-affiliated terrorists. From journalists to the health ministry and civil defense, Hamas has embedded itself in every aspect of life.

In yet another textbook example of terrorists embedded in Gaza’s institutions, the IDF revealed in June 2025 that the “Gaza Civil Spokesperson,” Mahmoud Bassal, is an active Hamas operative.

His words are frequently echoed throughout the media, shaping and distorting the narrative of Israel’s war against Hamas — often without attribution to his Hamas affiliation.

ABC News took that one step further, interviewing Bassal as an emergency responder searching for missing Gazan civilians.

Not once did it cross the interviewers’ minds to do the most basic due diligence a journalist can — a background check on those being interviewed.

ABC News has a responsibility to acknowledge the affiliation of an interviewee, particularly if it is relevant to the story they are covering.

This would have been the case had ABC noted that those searching in the rubble were members of Gaza’s Civil Defense: a Hamas front organization. But ABC didn’t even do that….

How difficult would it have been for the ABC journalists to check with Israeli authorities on the background of Mahmoud Bassal before interviewing him? A phone call would have done the trick. Or they might in two seconds flat have done an internet search for Bassal’s name and found right here that he is a member of Hamas. Why didn’t the ABC interviewer do this?

ABC News owes its audience an explanation and a public clarification.

Amen, sister, amen.

German Media Giant ZDF: Our Man in Gaza Was Hamas Terrorist

As is well known, many of the so-called “journalists” in Gaza, reporting for the Western media, have turned out to be members of Hamas, supplying their employers with stories that emphasize the IDF’s “wanton barbarity” and “war crimes,” and present Hamas as the brave face of the “resistance” to Israeli oppression and “occupation” (a curious word to use, given that Israel pulled out entirely from Gaza in 2005). Now, the German media giant ZDF has admitted that one of its key journalists in Gaza, killed last week in an Israeli airstrike, was a member of Hamas. The German public broadcaster Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF) announced on Monday that an employee of its Palestinian partner organization, who was killed last week, was a Hamas terrorist.

Israel provided the television network with evidence proving 37-year-old Ahmed Abu Mutair’s involvement in the terrorist group, the ZDF confirmed.

It has now suspended cooperation with the Palestine Media Production (PMP) company after working with the organization for decades, the ZDF said.

“The ZDF welcomes the fact that the Israeli army has complied with the request to clarify the identity of the killed employee of the production company PMP in Gaza,” the broadcaster said.

Mutair was killed less than two weeks ago in Deir el-Balah along with an eight-year-old son of a coworker, according to the ZDF.

A source told Bild that Mutair had been the target.

“A corresponding document was presented as evidence. Based on the document, the ZDF assumes that the engineer was a member of the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades,” the network said in a statement.

“In response, the ZDF has suspended cooperation until further notice. The document does not provide any information on when or how the engineer worked for Hamas, or on the tasks he undertook,” it further said.

“According to current information, however, the ZDF has no indications that other PMP employees might be members of Hamas. The IDF has also not provided the ZDF with any such information,” it continued.

Responding to the news, Israel’s Foreign Ministry said that Hamas’s narratives were ubiquitous in the media….

How often does the international media report, as fact, Hamas’ statistics on the wounded and dead in Gaza, and does not question Hamas’ claims as to how many of those casualties were women and children? How many in the media repeatedly report tall tales about Israeli snipers wantonly killing civilians — dozens, hundreds — as they stood in line up for food? How many report that there is “famine” in Gaza, despite a lack of evidence, merely because Hamas claims it?

Good, however, has come of this. ZDF has now suspended its longstanding reliance on the Palestine Media Production. The PMP will have to find some other media outlet in the West to take its reports as reliable. But that won’t be easy. Now that the ZDF has exposed ties between Hamas and the PMP, what Western media company would willingly look gullible by trusting PMP to supply it with material?
