American Politics > Will it matter who you vote for? Probably not!

Is the reason Biden didn't want to quit the presidential race because he knew they could win it anyway, regardless of how unpopular he is.

One of my favourite journalists...

Today it has come to my attention from various sources that election-wise we are
“up shit creek without a paddle”. In the words of a former intel professional:
“America’s elections are no longer about hearts and minds, or even votes, they are a kinetic battle for ballot counting and cybersecurity in compromised software. Anyone participating in a mere ideological ‘election’ is on the losing side already.” “The 2020 election revealed various preplanned attack vectors.

In PA we caught the unlawful insertion of 30k Biden votes on a thumb drive on video & Biden won that county by 121% voter turnout of Dems, an obvious impossibility.

We now know Georgia had double counting & phony ballots. At 4AM on election night the SQL software allowed the theft of 20k votes for Trump to be taken & swapped to Biden without a user login record - just as it was designed.

Unless these holes (and new ones) like massive registration fraud in Texas are plugged, the media has already started drafting Harris’s victory speech.” merissahansen.com/p/ag-paxton-el “Trump/ Kennnedys popularity is almost irrelevant. There need to be arrests, game day operations, increased cybersecurity & paper ballots or it’s over.” Are you paying att now?

Women Finally Beat Men in Medical Exams after Japanese University Stops Rigging Tests

Corruption is Everywhere,
but no longer in Japan's medical school entrance exams

Juntendo University Hospital, Tokyo

Women are outperforming men at a Japanese University for the first time in seven years, after the medical school admitted to previously rigging entrance exams to limit female entrants.

Juntendo University in Tokyo said on Monday that out of the 1,679 women who took the medical school entrance exam this year, 8.28 percent passed, compared to the 7.72 percent of successful male applicants.

Last year, the private university, along with at least eight other Japanese medical schools, were found to have rigged their exam system (3rd story on link) over the last decade to give first-time male test takers an advantage over women and repeat applicants.

When the revelation came to light, the dean of Juntendo justified the practice by saying women were already at an advantage due to their natural mental maturity. “Women mature faster mentally than men, and their communication ability is also higher,” Hiroyuki Daida said at a news conference. “In some ways, this was a measure to help male applicants.”

The university has now corrected its exams for 2019 and added female teachers to the board that interviews prospective students.

Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin Among Dozens Charged in U.S. College Admissions Scam

Corruption is Everywhere - Even in America's Best University Admissions

Federal prosecutors charged William Singer with running racketeering scheme

Hollywood actors Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) and Lori Loughlin (Full House/Fuller House) were among 50 people charged by U.S. federal prosecutors on Tuesday in a $25-million US scheme to help wealthy Americans cheat their children's way into elite universities such as Yale and Stanford.

Federal prosecutors in Boston charged William (Rick) Singer, 58, with running the racketeering scheme through his Edge College & Career Network, which served a roster of clients, including CEOs and Hollywood actors.

Prosecutors said Singer's operation arranged for fake testers to take college admissions exams in place of his clients' children, and also bribed coaches to give admissions slots meant to be reserved for recruited athletes, even if the applicants had no athletic ability.

Parents paid tens of thousands of dollars for Singer's services, which were masked as charitable contributions, prosecutors said.

Singer is scheduled to plead guilty on Tuesday in Boston federal court to charges, including racketeering, money laundering and obstruction of justice, according to court papers. He could not be reached for immediate comment.

Some 33 parents, including Huffman and Loughlin, were charged, as well as 13 coaches and associates of Singer's business. Huffman and Loughlin were not immediately available for comment.

On a call with one parent, prosecutors said Singer summed up his business thusly: "What we do is help the wealthiest families in the U.S. get their kids into school … my families want a guarantee."

The scheme began in 2011, prosecutors said, and also helped children get into the University of Texas, Georgetown University, the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles.

Part of the scheme involved advising parents to pretend to test administrators that their child had learning disabilities that allowed them extended time to take the exam.

The parents were then advised to choose one of two test centres that Singer's company said it had control over: one in Houston and the other in West Hollywood, Calif.

The test administrators in those centres took bribes to allow Singer's clients to cheat, often by arranging to have a student's wrong answers corrected after completing the exam, or having another person take the exam.

In many cases, the students were not aware that their parents had arranged for the cheating, prosecutors said.

Some of them are now!

John Vandemoor, a former Stanford sailing coach, is also scheduled to plead guilty to racketeering conspiracy charges.

‘Insane & Cheating’: Navratilova Reignites Criticism over Transgender Women in Sports

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has again come under fire for comments about transgender women in sport, reiterating her belief that some of the rules currently in place are “insane and cheating,” and unfair to other women.

Navratilova drew anger back in December when she tweeted: “You can't just proclaim yourself a female and be able to compete against women.

“There must be some standards, and having a penis and competing as a woman would not fit that standard.”

The 18-time Grand Slam  winner was accused of  “bullying” and being “discriminatory” with the comments, and was involved in a particularly bitter spat with Canadian transgender cyclist Rachel McKinnon.

Navratilova, 62, later apologized if her comments had been construed as transphobic, and vowed to “educate myself better on this issue [and] meantime I will be quiet about it.”

But the tennis great has now waded back into the row with an article in The Sunday Times.

In it, the Czech-born legend says she has looked further into the issue, and that her views “have strengthened.”

“To put the argument at its most basic: a man can decide to be female, take hormones if required by whatever sporting organisation is concerned, win everything in sight and perhaps earn a small fortune, and then reverse his decision and go back to making babies if he so desires,” wrote Navratilova, who is a prominent gay rights campaigner.

“It’s insane and it’s cheating. I am happy to address a transgender woman in whatever form she prefers, but I would not be happy to compete against her. It would not be fair,” she added.

“Simply reducing hormone levels – the prescription most sports have adopted – does not solve the problem.

“A man builds up muscle and bone density, as well as a greater number of oxygen-carrying red blood cells, from childhood,” Navratilova wrote.

"...Hundreds of athletes who have changed gender by declaration and limited hormone treatment have already achieved honours as women that were beyond their capabilities as men, especially sports in which power rather than skill is paramount. McKinnon is just one example," she added.

Navratilova said she had felt “put out” by the initial anger leveled at her, including from McKinnon, and cited her friendship with transgender former tennis player Renee Richards.

The tennis ace said she made “a critical distinction” between transgender and transsexual athletes.

"Transsexuals have decided to change their gender and have had the deed done, surgically. They have made the full commitment. They are few in number and rarely enjoy a competitive advantage,” Navratilova wrote.

She also said she backed South African runner Caster Semenya in her battle with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) for her right to compete freely amid the debate over increased testosterone levels.

But Navratilova’s renewed scathing criticism of “cheating” transgender women has caused more anger from various groups, including activists at Trans Actual.

We’re pretty devastated to discover that Martina Navratilova is transphobic. If trans women had an advantage in sport, why aren’t  trans women winning gold medals left, right & centre? Coz trans women don’t have an advantage. Look up the changes that oestrogen makes to the body.

McKinnon shared a link to the article and wrote: “Martina Navratilova has removed all doubt: she is absolutely transphobic.”

Navratilova seemed to preempt the anger in her Sunday Times piece, saying that while there was “no excuse for prejudice and nastiness” towards transgender athletes, “I also deplore what seems to be a growing tendency among transgender activists to denounce anyone who argues against them and to label them as ‘transphobes.’ That’s just another form of tyranny.”

With neither side looking like backing down, the debate is set to rumble on.
