This Week's Islamic Massacres > Fulani Herdsmen slaughter 42 Christians; Slaughtering conservationists in Mozambique; Slaughter in Catholic Diocese in Nigeria

Nigeria: Muslims slaughter 42 Christians

in jihad raids in Taraba state

"Taraba Gov. Kefas Agbu… said he would ensure the assailants would be found, arrested and prosecuted.”

Hardly anything is less likely to happen than that. The jihad in Nigeria has been going on for years, amid numerous government promises to stop the jihadis. Those promises are never kept. This one won’t be, either.

Herdsmen Slaughter 42 Christians in Taraba State, Nigeria

Morning Star News, May 26, 2025:

ABUJANigeria (Christian Daily InternationalMorning Star News)Fulani herdsmen in the early hours of Saturday (May 24) killed 42 people in three predominantly Christian communities in Taraba state, northeast Nigeria, sources said.

In Karim Lamido County, the assailants invaded Munga Dosso, Munga Lelau and Bandawa villages, destroying homes as well as slaughtering residents, according to officials and residents.

“My people in Karim Lamido Local Government Area, who are mostly Christians, have been attacked by Fulani herdsmen. Our houses have been burnt, and more than 42 Christians killed,” Miriam Silas told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News in a text message.

Taraba Gov. Kefas Agbu described the attacks as a “direct assault on the peace- loving people of the area” and “horrendous and unacceptable.”

The governor said he would ensure the assailants would be found, arrested and prosecuted.

“Our citizens’ safety is my top priority. We have activated all necessary security measures to prevent further violence and bring those responsible to book,” Agbu said through a statement by spokesman Emmanuel Bello.

Area residents sent distressed messages on Saturday (May 24).

“A devastating attack by herdsmen on three communities has claimed the lives of 42 Christians and forced hundreds of others to flee their homes the early morning of Saturday,” Obadiah Abbawa said in a text message. “The attack led to the destruction of houses and left the communities in complete ruins.

Another area resident, Zion Chaffi, said, “Karim Lamido area is being attacked by Fulani herdsmen. Pray for God’s intervention for us.”…

Numbering in the millions across Nigeria and the Sahel, predominantly Muslim Fulani comprise hundreds of clans of many different lineages who do not hold extremist views, but some Fulani do adhere to radical Islamist ideology, the United Kingdom’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom or Belief (APPG) noted in a 2020 report.

“They adopt a comparable strategy to Boko Haram and ISWAP and demonstrate a clear intent to target Christians and potent symbols of Christian identity,” the APPG report states….

Mozambique: Islamic State jihadis murder 10 people in ‘brutal’ jihad attacks, behead two

Ten dead in ‘brutal’ attacks by Isis-linked militants on Mozambique wildlife reserve
by Patrick Greenfield, Guardian, May 18, 2025:

One of Africa’s largest protected areas has been shaken by a series of attacks by Islamic State-linked extremists, which have left at least 10 people dead.

Conservationists in Niassa reserve, Mozambique, say decades of work to rebuild populations of lions, elephants and other keystone species are being jeopardised, as conservation operations grind to a halt.

On 29 April, militants attacked buildings in Niassa, killing two anti-poaching scouts. Two more scouts are missing and another seriously injured. The attack, which was later claimed by Islamic State-Mozambique, came 10 days after another raid on a nearby safari camp in which two people were beheaded and six soldiers were killed….

“The worst thing about these kind of attacks, which is kind of the point, is the fear factor. The attacks are brutal: the two carpenters that were killed at the safari camp were beheaded. There is enormous fear from communities from the brutality of the attack,” said Colleen Begg, managing director of Niassa Carnivore Project, whose headquarters were attacked in the 29 April raid….

Islamic State Mozambique, known locally as al-Shabaab although not linked to the group in Somalia, emerged in 2017 and has displaced more than 1 million people in northern Mozambique as its activities have expanded. While there was a crackdown on the group after an attack on the city of Palma that resulted in the suspension of a major gas project by TotalEnergies, the militants remain active in the country’s northernmost province.

Nine conservation and safari camps have been abandoned since the attacks, with one destroyed by the Islamist group. Begg said that urgent support was needed to restore peace in the region and prevent further loss of life. The Mozambican army is in pursuit of the IS-linked group….

Nigeria: Catholic priests raise alarm as Islamic jihadis

murder 50 people, shut 15 churches

“We are not sure whose side the military is on. Their behavior raises serious suspicions of complicity.”

No kidding, really? The Nigerian government and military has been aiding and abetting the jihad in that country for years.

Catholic priests raise alarm as herdsmen kill 50, shut 15 churches in Makurdi

by Peter Duru, Vanguard, June 1, 2025:

The Nigerian Catholic Diocesan Priests Association (NCDPA), Makurdi Diocese, has raised the alarm over continued deadly attacks by armed herdsmen in Benue State, revealing that more than 50 people have been killed and 15 Catholic parishes have been forced to shut down in just one month.

Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, the Chairman of NCDPA in Makurdi Diocese, Revd. Fr. Joseph Beba, strongly condemned the wave of violence, describing it as a calculated and coordinated effort to wipe out Tiv communities. He accused security forces, particularly the military stationed in the affected areas, of complicity and inaction.

“Among those affected are Catholic priests, and this has led to the closure of 15 parishes in Makurdi Diocese alone,” Fr. Beba said, decrying what he described as the military’s silence and passivity while communities were being attacked.

The priests detailed a series of recent attacks, including the shooting of Revd. Fr. Solomon Atongo, the priest in charge of St. John’s Quasi Parish, Jimba. Fr. Atongo was reportedly shot just 500 meters from a military checkpoint at Tse Orbiam, with no response from the stationed personnel. The community itself was later attacked.

Other communities listed as victims of the violence include Tse Orbiam, Ahume, Jimba, Nagi-Camp, Aondoana, Yelewata, and Abegana — all located within the Makurdi Diocese. According to the priests, these assaults have resulted in numerous deaths, including women, children, and even a pregnant woman.

“These acts are inhumane, barbaric, and a gross violation of the sanctity and dignity of human life,” the priests stated. They further suggested that the attacks may be linked to Bishop Wilfred Anagbe’s recent testimonies in the U.S. and Europe about the persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

“These attacks are a direct assault on the Bishop of Makurdi Diocese and the Catholic Church he represents. They appear coordinated and retaliatory,” they said, adding that the bishop’s home village of Aondoana was also attacked on May 25, with clergy and nuns fleeing into the bush for safety….

The priests lamented the growing sense of abandonment, noting that neither the federal nor state government had visited the victims or shown solidarity, even as communities were displaced and religious leaders attacked.

“We are not sure whose side the military is on. Their behavior raises serious suspicions of complicity,” they said, citing the increasingly unsafe Naka-Makurdi and Taraku-Naka roads as further proof of the deteriorating security situation…

Islam Hates Christianity > So. Africa's Chief Rabbi on the Beheading of 70 Christians; Muslims attempt to murder evangelist in Uganda

South Africa’s chief rabbi slams world’s religious leaders for silence on Christian beheadings in DRC

Religious leaders, including far too many Christian leaders, ignore Christian persecution, yet many among these same people express shock and outrage over Palestinians dying in the Gaza war. They also dismiss the fact that Hamas uses Palestinians as human shields, and wrongly blame Israel.

How can the world pretend to care about human rights, while ignoring the barbaric atrocities being committed against Christians daily? Rabbi Warren Goldstein, South Africa’s chief rabbi, hasn’t forgotten:

In Nigeria, a genocide has been underway for years. Meanwhile, South Africa led the charge in the International Court of Justice’s “genocide” case against Israel, while it ignores a real genocide against Christians.

The brave, outspoken Rabbi Goldstein also addressed global opponents of Israel last year. See HERE.

South Africa is shamelessly antisemitic, blind to Christian persecution, and pro-Islam at any cost, as Islam rises in the country.

South Africa’s Chief Rabbi Warns: Islamists Beheading Christians in DRC

by Joel B Pollak, Breitbart, March 2, 2025:

South Africa’s Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein warned Sunday that Islamist militias are beheading Christians in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) — and slammed the world’s religious leaders for their silence on the issue.

Goldstein was referring to the Kasanga massacre, a mass murder of Christians that occurred on February 12.

As Christian Daily reported:

Seventy Christians were discovered beheaded inside a Protestant church in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s North Kivu Province, according to reports, which say the victims had been kidnapped by suspected Allied Democratic Forces terrorists.

The terrorists arrived in Mayba, a village in the territory of Lubero, at around 4 a.m. last Thursday and ordered residents to quietly get out, said Open Doors, adding that at least 20 Christian men and women had to leave their homes, leading to their capture.

Later, concerned residents gathered to plan a rescue, but the armed group is said to have surrounded the village and managed to seize 50 more believers. The abducted residents were then taken to a Protestant church in Kasanga, where they were found beheaded, said the ministry.

Goldstein commented that global religious leaders, including the South African Council of Churches — which has been very vocal on the Israel-Palestinian conflict — had largely been silent on the issue.

Islam hates Christianity, not because it's a lie, but because it's the Truth and it makes Islam a Lie.

Uganda: Muslims screaming ‘Allahu akbar’ beat and stab evangelist who converted Muslim to Christianity

The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)

A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”

Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”

Christian Stabbed in Attack on Evangelists in Uganda

Morning Star News, February 25, 2025:

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News)Hardline Muslims in eastern Uganda on Feb. 15 beat and stabbed an evangelist after he and his team led a Muslim widow to Christ during open-air gospel preaching, sources said.

Robert Kasozi, a 39-year-old evangelist also known as Mulokole, was stabbed in the stomach, and three co-workers also were beaten in the attack in Kiwanga village, Goma Sub-County, Mukono District, a local source said.

The evangelists led a 75-year-old widow identified only as Hasifa to faith in Christ in a public prayer, infuriating a relative and a shopkeeper, said an area contact whose name is withheld for security reasons.

“A relative of Hasifa named Jawadi and a shopkeeper saw all that took place – he came out of the shop and started shouting the Islamic slogan, ‘Inna lillahi wa Inna ilayhi raji’un [Indeed to Allah we belong and to him we shall return]’ and [jihadist slogan] ‘Allah akbar [God is greater],’” the source told Morning Star News.

Many Muslims gathered and started insulting the evangelists, she said.

“A Muslim came and attacked Kasozi, piercing him in the stomach with a knife,” the source said. “While other attackers were shouting, ‘You infidels, why do you come to spread a wrong message into our city – don’t you know that this city belongs to Muslims? Stop what you’re doing now, because for us we know that Jesus is not the Son of God but a messenger from God just like our prophet Muhammad.’

“Other Muslims started beating the three evangelists as Kasozi was lying in a pool of blood. They also grabbed their Bibles and tore them into pieces.”…

A day they will remember when they stand before Jesus Christ on that great and terrible day.
