Mali to become the first state ruled by al-queda terrorists, Americans told to leave immediately

That is, if you don't count Gaza, Syria, Iran, Turkey or Qatar

State Department warns Americans to leave Mali: It’s about to become first African nation ruled by Al-Qaeda

Mali’s main natural resource is gold; it also serves as a hub for the illegal gold trade with Dubai. The West African country is Africa’s “third biggest exporter of gold, and a third of its total production is estimated to come from artisanal mining. In 2016, the country exported 67 tonnes of gold valued at US$2.2 billion. Of that, 46.9 tonnes were mined by industrial producers, with the remaining 20.1 tonnes extracted through artisanal means.”  Think what that means for al-Qaeda, which is now poised through its associated group Jama’a Nusrat ul-Islam wa al-Muslimin (JNIM) to fully control Mali.

Although Africa is virtually invisible in the Western media, wars over its natural resources, as well as over international interests, are proliferating.

Countries in the Sahel such as Mali (as well as Burkina Faso and Niger) “which have distanced themselves from traditional partners like France and the European Union (EU), have increasingly engaged Turkey for military cooperation, arms deals and mining partnerships, particularly in gold and energy sectors.” This is troubling news considering the expansionist nature of Turkey; whereas the West is lax regarding enforcement of its own borders, let alone paying attention to the jihad’s expansion globally.

According to the African Policy Research Institute:

As Turkey couples domestic mining reforms with strategic outreach in Africa, its ambition goes beyond resource acquisition: It seeks to reshape its geopolitical footprint in a shifting global order.

Although Turkey has designated al-Qaeda as a terrorist group for utilitarian purposes, its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is a sophisticated manipulator. Take, for example, Syria, where Erdogan helped install former al-Qaeda leader Ahmed al-Sharaa as the new president of Syria after he overthrew the former president, Bashar al-Assad.

Look for Turkey anywhere as it extends its reach globally — from NATO to the Middle East to Africa. It is the new Iran, but has managed to fool the West and retain its place in NATO as it builds up militarily.

Now that al-Qaeda is poised to take over in unstable Mali, analysts fear a domino effect with other governments in the Sahel region.

Retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Kenneth P. Ekman stated: “The U.S. still has security interests in West Africa…An external operations threat to the American homeland is intolerable, increasingly likely and far more difficult to detect given the dearth of remaining U.S. forces and intelligence assets in the region.”

The willful blindness of Westerners to the threat of Islam will slowly end up causing the collapse of the West, if the West remains as lax and indifferent as it is now.

‘Depart immediately’: State Department warns Americans as al Qaeda threatens to overrun African nation

by Paul Tilsley, Fox News,
December 10, 2025:

As the West African country of Mali teeters on becoming the first nation on the continent to be ruled by an al Qaeda–linked terror organization, a State Department spokesperson warned American citizens to leave or not travel there.

On the situation in Mali, the spokesperson told Fox News Digital, “Do Not Travel for any reason due to crime, terrorism, kidnapping, unrest and health risks,” while cautioning, “U.S. citizens should avoid travel to Mali, and those currently in Mali should depart immediately.”

The U.S. Embassy in Mali also posted on their website, “U.S. citizens should depart using commercial aviation, as overland routes to neighboring countries may not be safe for travel due to terrorist attacks along national highways.”

It also warned Americans not to try to travel outside the capital city. “The U.S. Embassy in Bamako is rarely able to provide emergency services or support to U.S. citizens outside the capital,” noting the information was still relevant as of Monday.

A former senior military official with detailed knowledge of the situation has told Fox News Digital that the situation in Mali has made a threat to the U.S. homeland “increasingly likely.”

Islamist JNIM fighters have surrounded its capital, Bamako, preventing fuel tankers from reaching the city and setting fire to some vehicles. The Malian army has tried to break the blockade by mounting armed convoys for the trucks, but JNIM has attacked several of these….

17 Dead, Several Wounded in Burkina Faso Shooting, Al Queda Blamed

UPI -- Seventeen people were killed and nine others wounded after assailants attacked a cafe in Burkina Faso Sunday night, according to media reports.

The attack occurred at the Hotel Bravia and the Aziz Istanbul Restaurant in the capital of Ouagadougou, near the city's popular Kwame Nkrumah Avenue, reported the BBC.

Burkina Faso's Communication Minister Remis Dandjinou said it was unclear how many attackers participated in the shooting as they have not yet been apprehended.

"They are confined to one part of the building they attacked. Security and elite forces are conducting an operation," he said.

Witness reports indicate there were three shooters.

Police have closed off the city center and the U.S. embassy warned U.S. citizens to avoid the area.

The attack appears to be similar to the January 2016 attack in which masked gunmen stormed a four-star hotel catering to Westerners in Ouagadougou and killed 30 people, including many foreigners.

Al-Queda took responsibility for that attack, citing "revenge against France and the disbelieving West" as their motive.

Merry Christmas, Mr Netanyahu - Barack Hussein Obama II

Obama gifts Netanyahu with a stab in the back
just as I said he would years ago

I first wrote about America abandoning Israel in 2008, and reiterated it on this blog in 2011. As Europe turns more and more antisemitic, partly due to the rapidly increasing Muslim population, and partly due to the propaganda coming out of Palestinians that is being soaked up and regurgitated by left-leaning news media, Israel is becoming more and more isolated.

The UN seems incapable of focusing on anything else as there is sheer hatred of the Middle East's only real democratic and free society. They have no complaints about Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, ISIS, the Taliban, al Queda, or Russia's takeover of the Crimea. They don't complain about beheadings, children bought and sold as sex slaves, people being burned alive, thrown off tall buildings, or whipped for being a woman.

Massacres account for nothing compared to the nightmare of Israel building homes on the West Bank on land they won after being attacked by several Arab states. It is also land the Palestinians have lived on for less than 100 years and Jews have lived on for millennia.

The UN has made itself obsolete and redundant as it has become a political entity with the obvious goal of destroying Israel. It has completely abandoned any pretense of impartiality and fairness, and along with it goes the legacy of Barack Hussein Obama as his true colours are revealed in his last days. America is fortunate the new President is a supporter of Israel or else it would be sorely judged by God for this evil deed.

Netanyahu halts Israeli funding of UN bodies
in revenge for ‘crazy’ resolution

Israel has suspended its multimillion dollar contribution to a number of United Nations bodies and is reevaluating its relationship with the organization, after the UN Security Council passed a resolution on Israeli settlement construction.

“I instructed the Foreign Ministry to complete within a month a re-evaluation of all our contacts with the United Nations, including the Israeli funding of UN institutions and the presence of UN representatives in Israel,” Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on Saturday while addressing the nation.

“I have already instructed to stop about 30 million shekels ($7.8 million) in funding to five UN institutions, five bodies, that are especially hostile to Israel ... and there is more to come,” he added without offering any further details."

Netanyahu harshly criticized President Barack Obama for his decision on Friday to abstain from vetoing the resolution that declares settlements as having “no legal validity.” The resolution passed 14 to zero, with the United States abstaining.

The resolution demands that Israel “immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the 'occupied' Palestinian territory, including east Jerusalem.”

The resolution “doesn’t bring peace closer. It pushes it further away,” Netanyahu said Saturday, calling the document “crazy.”

President Barack Obama’s administration constituted a “shameful ambush” by allowing the resolution's passage, Netanyahu said in his first public comments since Friday’s vote.

“Half a million ... are being slaughtered in Syria, tens of thousands are butchered in Sudan. The Middle East is up in flames, yet the Obama administration and the UN Security Council choose to set upon the only democracy in the Middle East,” Netanyahu told his television audience.

Netanyahu said that by abstaining the US has violated a pledge made by former president Jimmy Carter who promised Tel Aviv that Washington would not dictate peace terms to Israel at the UN Security Council.

In a statement after the vote on Friday, Netanyahu’s office personally accused Obama of failing to “protect Israel against this gang-up at the UN,” accusing the administration of working “behind the scenes.”

The UNSC was initially scheduled to vote on the resolution presented by Egypt on behalf of Palestine on Thursday. But Cairo pulled its text at the last minute after Netanyahu allegedly exerted heavy pressure on Egyptian President Abdel Sisi.

Netanyahu also lobbied with US politicians, particularly Trump’s team, urging the US to veto the “anti-Israel resolution.”

US not only abstained, it was behind new resolution

In an unexpected twist of events on Friday a new resolution on the same subject authored by New Zealand, Malaysia, Venezuela and Senegal was introduced to the UNSC and passed.

The US abstention during the vote signaled a drastic shift in the US' long-standing support for Israel – its closest ally in the Middle East. The Obama administration choosing not to support Israel contrasts Trump’s vocal support for Israel and its settlement activity.

Obama’s last minute diplomacy also contradicted his earlier pledge to gift Trump a “smooth and efficient” transition, which he promised the Republican immediately following his victory.

Earlier on Saturday, a senior Israeli official told Haaretz that US diplomacy “revealed the true face of the Obama administration,” adding that “now we can understand what we have been dealing with for the past eight years.”

Israel, the source added, is convinced that Washington acted behind Israel’s back with regards to drafting and advancing the resolution. “We know about it from Arab and international sources,” he added.
