Jean-Luc Mélenchon is the head of La France Insoumise, a political party that promotes Muslim immigration, pooh-poohs alarm over Muslim crime and the cost of welfare benefits for Muslims, and instead promotes antisemitism. French Far-Left Leader, Presidential Candidate Under Fire for Antisemitism Threatens Israel With Military Force

The leader of France’s largest leftist coalition in parliament and a 2027 presidential candidate appeared to threaten Israel with international military action, marking the latest controversy surrounding the longtime anti-Israel lawmaker, who critics have accused of helping fuel the ongoing surge in antisemitism across France.
On Sunday, Jean-Luc Mélenchon claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking to occupy southern Lebanon, where Israeli forces have been fighting the Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, and called for an international military deployment against Israel.
“Israel is invading and annexing all of southern Lebanon. Netanyahu has raised his flag over Beaufort Castle. This French name should remind us of the thousand-year history that binds us to Lebanon. We owe the Lebanese people aid, solidarity, and support in the face of genocidal forces,” Mélenchon wrote in a post on X.
“The aircraft carrier would serve as a more useful symbol in the Mediterranean than in the Strait of Hormuz, to remind Netanyahu that his interference in our elections and his invasions of our allies’ territories are viewed as threats by the French,” he continued. “The UN Security Council must condemn Israel and organize the withdrawal of its forces from the occupied territory.”…
What Jean-Luc Mélenchon fails to understand is that Beaufort Castle, which the Crusaders built, is not a symbol of solidarity with Muslims, but rather, a symbol of the Christian attempt to defeat the Muslims during the Crusades, and take back the Holy Land, la Terre Promise, from the Muslims who had seized it and kept Christian pilgrims from visiting it. Still more outrageous is his charge that Israel has “annexed” all of southern Lebanon. The IDF is in southern Lebanon for only one reason: to crush the terror group Hezbollah that continues to fire missiles and drones into Israel. Israel has no intention of “annexing” southern Lebanon. Nor are Israeli soldiers “genocidal brutes.” It is the IDF that makes tremendous efforts to spare the lives of civilians. To this end, it has dropped millions of leaflets, sent millions of text messages, and made millions of robocalls, all to warn civilians to stay away from areas, and buildings, about to be targeted. Mélenchon does not know that the Israelis are not the only ones who want Hezbollah to be crushed. So do three-quarters of the Lebanese, including all the Christians, all the Sunni Muslims, and even some of the Shi’a. If he knew anything about Lebanon, he should be cheering the IDF’s effort to free the country from the terror group’s grip.
Mélenchon has previously said that “antisemitism remains residual in France,” remarks critics said downplayed a sharp surge in anti-Jewish hatred that erupted following the Hamas-led invasion of and massacre across southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
Antisemitism is “residual in France”? What can Mélenchon be talking about? Jews make up 0.8% of the French population, but more than 50% of hate crimes in the country are directed at Jews. Has he forgotten the murders of Ilan Halimi, whose Muslim kidnappers held for two weeks and tortured to death, and of 65-year old Sarah Halimi, whose Muslim neighbor, whom she had befriended, beat to death and then threw out of a window, and of 85-year old Mireille Knoll, stabbed and then set on fire, and of Rabbi Jonathan Sandler, his sons Aryeh (6) and Gabriel (3), and 8-year-old Myriam Monsenego, murdered in a 2012 terrorist attack at the Ozar Hatorah Jewish school in Toulouse, and of the four Jews murdered at the Hypercacher supermarket at the Porte de Vincennes?
None of these antisemitic atrocities appears to have made an impression on Mélenchon, with his cold heart for Jewish suffering at the hands of Muslims, whose support he courts, whose presence he endorses.

EU reaches deal to establish ‘return hubs’ outside the bloc for rejected asylum-seekers
The EU decision provides a measure of hope that the EU population at large is finally beginning to wake up. This is, however, likely more a matter of appearance than of reality. Leftist leaders have proven their indifference to the well-being of their citizens and national security, but they want desperately to cling to power in the face of “far-right” opposition to suicidal immigration policies. For this reason, the EU may well implement “return hubs” to give the impression that they’re dealing responsibly with the problem of mass migration.

EU lawmakers and members agreed in principle on Monday to tightening asylum rules and allowing the establishment of “return hubs” outside the bloc, amid growing sentiment against migration.
The deal, proposed by the European Commission in 2025, comes as far-right parties across the EU have been growing in popularity and have pushed for a tougher stance on illegal migration.
The German DPA news agency reported that the deal was moved forward with the support of right-wing parties in the European Parliament, an unusual move.
The agreement comes even as irregular arrivals into the EU fell 26% in 2025, their lowest level since 2021. EU officials, however, argue that the problem now is governments’ struggle to enforce deportation orders, with fewer than 30% being carried out.
The legislation still requires formal approval by EU governments and the European Parliament.
What does the deal entail?
The provisional deal, launched amid growing pressure to curb migration, stipulates that rejected asylum seekers who cannot be returned to their countries of origin could be transferred to “return hubs,” whose locations have yet to be disclosed.
It would apply when an asylum seeker’s home country refuses to take them back, or if the EU member state initiating the deportation does not maintain diplomatic relations with the asylum seeker’s country of origin….

In The Telegraph, Nick Timothy outlines how equality before the law no longer exists in modern Britain.
The Sentencing Council itself, which sets guidelines for judges, explicitly cites ethnicity as a factor to consider as mitigation when sentencing young offenders. The Judicial College’s Equal Treatment Bench Book – which has a whole chapter on race – says “treating everyone the same does not always ensure true equality”, because people with protected characteristics may be disadvantaged by “neutral” treatment. This kind of identitarianism is risible.
Treating criminals as vulnerable – and treating race, religion, age and mental disability as conveying automatic disadvantage – runs through the logic of the whole system.
But it’s not just in matters concerning the race of the victim or perpetrator where justice and policing are going wrong. The judge in the Fordingbridge rape case, when sentencing the three teenagers concerned, said his responsibility was not to “criminalise” them, and that his priority was their “reintegration into society”, rather than providing justice to victims or protecting the public. These comments sound deranged. But they are straight from official sentencing guidelines.
Now David Lammy wants to make things even worse with a new youth justice white paper, which will set an arbitrary target of cutting the number of under-18s in custody by one fifth regardless of the severity of crimes committed. The paper even suggests treating young adults differently based on their age or identity, as happens in Scotland. Labour’s endless focus on the rights of criminals, and engineering the system to benefit certain identity groups, places offenders first and victims last.

The UK is being subverted, not by any phenomenon that’s new, but by one that has been well-practiced for 1400 years. Islam is a religion of supremacy, and is therefore expansionary. It is subverting Britain via population jihad. Once the Muslim population rises sufficiently in any infidel domain, although a majority is not necessary, Muslims make concerted efforts to fain political power. Given the West’s prevailing ethos of multiculturalism and worship of “diversity,” they usually gain that power, regardless of the fact that their interests align more with those of foreign entities than with those of their own non-Muslim constituents.

The data, drawn from analysis of roughly 2,076 Muslim candidates who contested seats across district councils, London boroughs, metropolitan boroughs, and unitary authorities, reveals a community that is not only growing in political participation but fundamentally diversifying in its political allegiances. Muslim representatives now sit across 78 councils and span the full width of the party spectrum — from Labour and the Greens to the Conservatives and, for the first time in significant numbers, Reform UK.
There are approximately 17,000 council seats in England.
Labour holds most seats — but story is its losses
Labour returned 199 Muslim councillors, accounting for 42.6 per cent of the total and remaining the single largest party among elected Muslim representatives. But that headline figure masks steep losses in the urban heartlands where the party’s relationship with Muslim voters was once taken for granted.
The damage was most dramatic in east London. In Newham, where 141 Muslim candidates contested seats, independents won 31 council seats compared to Labour’s 18 — one of the party’s most painful results anywhere in the country. In Tower Hamlets, the locally dominant Aspire party swept 33 seats while Labour trailed far behind. In Redbridge, independents and Greens continued to chip away at what was once a comfortable Labour majority.
