A short video puts the Arab-Israeli conflict into perspective

LETTER IN YEMEN FROM 800 YEARS AGO

EXPOSES THE TRUTH ABOUT MUSLIMS

November 30, 2023 2.5K views

This letter in Yemen written by the famous Jewish sage the Rambam reveals something about Muslims that the world refuses to admit.

I contend that the Arab-Israeli conflict began with Ishmael and Isaac. Ishmael was jealous of Isaac's favour from Abraham, and Ishmael's rejection. And, as the speaker says, that jealousy continues to this day as Israel flourishes without any significant oil and gas industry, while the only reason some Arab countries aren't desperately poor is because of the presence of oil. Also, several Arab countries have attacked tiny Israel several times and lost every time.

Arab's are bright enough to know that God blesses the Jews more than they, but are not bright enough to realize that it is because of there false religion.

The Destruction of Sodom - According to Mohammed

Mohammed's mention of the People of Loot (Lut) somehow morphs into the story of

Sodom and Gomorrah

The People of Lut and The City which was Turned Upside Down

    The people of Lut rejected (his) warning. We sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut's household: them We delivered by early Dawn,-  As a Grace from Us: thus do We reward those who give thanks. And (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning. (Surat al-Qamar:, 33-36)

Lut lived at the same time as Ibrahim. The Old Testament says that Lut was Ibrahim's nephew and that they travelled some distance together in Ibrahim's long journeys.

Lut was sent as a messenger to one of Ibrahim's neighbouring communities. These people, as the Qur’an tells us, practiced a perversion unknown to the world up to then, namely sodomy. When Lut told them to give up this perversion and brought them Allah's warning, they denied him, refused his prophethood, and carried on with their perversion. In the end, these people were destroyed by a dreadful disaster.

The city where Lut resided is referred to as Sodom in the Old Testament. Being situated at the north of the Red Sea, this community is understood to have been destroyed just as it is written in the Qur’an. Archaeological studies reveal that the city is located in the area of the Dead Sea which stretches along the Israel-Jordan border.

Before examining the remains of this disaster, let’s see why the people of Lut were punished in this fashion. The Qur’an tells how Lut warned his people and what they said in reply;

    The people of Lut rejected the messengers. Behold, their brother Lut said to them: “Will ye not fear (Allah)? I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. So fear Allah and obey me. No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!”
    They said: “If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!”
    He said: “I do detest your doings.” (Surat ash-Shuara: 160-168)

The people of Lut threatened him in response to his inviting them to the right way. His people detested him because of his showing them the right way, and wanted to banish both him and the other believers beside him. In other verses, the event is told as follows;

    We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: “Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.”
    And his people gave no answer but this: they said, “Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!” (Surat al-Araf: 80-82)

Lut called his people to an obvious truth and warned them explicitly, but his people did not heed any warnings whatsoever and continued to reject Lut and to deny the penalty of which he told them.

    And (remember) Lut: behold, he said to his people: “Ye do commit lewdness, such as no people in Creation (ever) committed before you. Do ye indeed approach men, and cut off the highway?- and practise wickedness (even) in your councils?” But his people gave no answer but this: they said: “Bring us the Wrath of Allah if thou tellest the truth.” (Surat al-Ankaboot: 28-29)

Receiving the above answer from his people, Lut asked for the help of Allah,

    He said: “O my Lord! help Thou me against people who do mischief!” (Surat al-Ankaboot: 30)

    “O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!” (Surat ash-Shuara: 169)

Upon Lut’s prayer, Allah sent two angels in the form of men. These angels visited Ibrahim before coming to Lut. Giving Ibrahim the good news that his wife would give birth to an infant, the messengers explained the reason of their being sent: the insolent people of Lut were to be destroyed.

    (Ibrahim) said: “And what, O ye Messengers, is your errand (now)?” They said, “We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin; To bring on, on them, (a shower of) stones of clay (brimstone), Marked as from thy Lord for those who trespass beyond bounds.” (Surat adh-Dhariyat: 31-34)

    Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind. (Surat al-Hijr: 59-60)

After leaving Ibrahim’s company, the angels, who were sent as messengers, came to Lut. Not having met the messengers before, Lut first became anxious, but then calmed down after talking  to them;

    When Our messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account and felt himself powerless (to protect) them. He said: “This is a distressful day.” (Surah Hud: 77)

    He said: “Ye appear to be uncommon folk.” They said: “Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. We have brought to thee that which is inevitably due, and assuredly we tell the truth. Then travel by night with thy household, when a portion of the night (yet remains), and do thou bring up the rear: let no one amongst you look back, but pass on whither ye are ordered.” And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning. (Surat al-Hijr: 62-66)

Meanwhile, his people had learned that Lut had visitors. They did not hesitate to approach these visitors perversely as they had approached others before. They encircled the house. Being afraid for his visitors, Lut addressed his people as follows;

Lut said: “These are my guests: disgrace me not: But fear Allah, and shame me not.” (Surat al-Hijr: 68-69)

The people of Lut retorted;

They said: “Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and sundry?” (Surat al-Hijr: 70)

Thinking that he and his visitors subjected to evil treatment, Lut said:

“Would that I had power to suppress you or that I could betake myself to some powerful support.” (Surah Hud: 80)

His “visitors” reminded him that they were the messengers of Allah and said;

(The Messengers) said: “O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?” (Surah Hud: 81)

When the perversity of the city people reached its fullest extent, Allah saved Lut by means of the angels. In the morning, his people were destroyed by the disaster of which Lut had informed them in advance.

And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) “Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning.” Early on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them: (Surat al-Qamar: 37-38)

The verses describe the destruction of this people as follows;

But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. Behold! in this are Signs for those who by tokens do understand. And the (cities were) right on the high-road. (Surat al-Hijr: 73-76)

When Our Decree issued, We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer,-Marked as from thy Lord: Nor are they ever far from those who do wrong! (Surah Hud: 82-83)

But the rest We destroyed utterly. We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)! : Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. (Surat ash-Shuara: 172-175)

When the people were destroyed, only Lut and the believers, who were only as many as one “household”, were saved. Lut’s wife did not believe either and she was also destroyed.

We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: “Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?
For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.”
And his people gave no answer but this: they said, “Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!”
But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind.
And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime! (Surat al-Araf: 80-84)

Thus, Prophet Lut was saved along with the believers and his family with the exception of his wife. As described in the Old Testament, he emigrated with Ibrahim. As for the perverted people, they were destroyed and their dwellings were razed to the ground.

“The Obvious Signs” in the Lake of Lut

The 82nd  verse of Surah Hud, clearly states the kind of the disaster that befell the people of Lut. “When Our Decree issued, We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer

The statement of “turning (the cities) upside down” implies that the region was totally destroyed by a violent earthquake. Accordingly, The Lake of Lut, where the destruction took place, bears “obvious” evidence of such a disaster.

We quote German archaeologist Werner Keller as follows;

    Together with the base of this mighty fissure, which runs precisely through this area, the Vale of Siddim, including Sodom and Gomorrah, plunged one day into the abyss. Their destruction came about through a great earthquake which was probably accompanied by explosions, lightning, issue of natural gas and general conflagration. (1)

U.N. General Assembly Condemns Israeli Violence Against Palestinians

By Danielle Haynes

UPI -- The U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution condemning Israel's use of excessive force on Palestinian civilians.

The resolution passed by a vote of 120-8 with 45 countries abstaining.

Boy, there are a lot of antisemites in the General Assembly

A U.S. bid to condemn Hamas, a Palestinian fundamentalist group, for attacks on Israel also received a majority vote in favor -- 62-58 with 42 abstaining -- but the president of the General Assembly rejected it because it didn't have the required two-thirds majority to pass.

The resolution is unlikely to lead to any action against Israel because the United States, a close ally of the nation, would veto it.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, who introduced the amendment to blame Hamas, criticized the UNGA for focusing on violence in Israel instead of in Nicaragua, Yemen or Myanmar.

"Gaza is important, but what makes it more urgent than many other desperate places?" she asked. "What makes Gaza different for some is that attacking Israel is their favorite sport."

The primary resolution was introduced by representatives in Turkey, on behalf of the Islamic Cooperation, and Algeria, on behalf of the Arab League.

Turkish Ambassador to the United Nations Feridun Siniroglu told the UNGA before the vote that the resolution wasn't about taking sides.

"It is about supporting de-escalation on the ground. It is about deterring further violence from taking place," he said. "It is a call to the secretary-general to come up with his recommendations on how to protect civilians from further attack. It is a call to all sides to put an end to loss of lives."

What a crock! There is a very simple way to stop the violence on the Gaza border - the Palestinians simply have to stop rushing the Israel border. Go home, find a job, dig a tunnel, or something. Their actions are beyond stupid and easily qualify as insane. The Palestinians don't mind dying, obviously, so why should the UN be so upset about it.

The IDF has shown extraordinary restraint in protecting the border. They deserve commendation not criticism. But, the Arab nations in the UN obviously think the IDF should be ordered to only respond with sling-shots and stones.

Arabs and Muslims hate Israel because there are about 1.5 billion of them and only a few million Jews, and they cannot eliminate the Jews no matter how hard and how many times they try. Deep down they know that God is on the side of the Jews and they just can't accept that. They haven't been able to accept that since the days of Isaac and Ishmael, when God called Isaac, Abraham's only son!

The Next Front in the War on Christianity - Thanks to Islam and Us

ANALYSIS - After Orlando, time to recognize that anti-gay bigotry is not religious freedom

Will targeted nightclub shooting begin an overdue conversation about religions' attitudes toward gays?

By Neil Macdonald, CBC News
Senior Correspondent

Neil Macdonald is a Senior Correspondent for CBC News, currently based in Ottawa. Prior to that he was the CBC's Washington correspondent for 12 years, and before that he spent five years reporting from the Middle East. He also had a previous career in newspapers, and speaks English and French fluently, and some Arabic.

In December 1989, Marc Lépine armed himself with a Ruger Mini-14 semiautomatic rifle and headed off to Montreal's École Polytechnique, hunting women.

He separated male and female students and ordered the men to leave. He then killed the women, execution-style.

By the time he turned the weapon on himself, he'd slaughtered 14 young women for the offence of being women, earning himself a place at the apex of misogynistic violence.

Lepine's suicide note read, in part:

"I have decided to send the feminists, who have always ruined my life, to their Maker … The feminists have always enraged me."

The atrocity, and its stated motivation, immediately triggered an angry and overdue conversation in Canada about misogyny and collective male guilt.

Men who'd never as much as lifted a hand to a woman in their lives were told that even so, if they'd ever smiled at a sexist joke or tolerated discrimination against a woman, they'd done their bit to shape a culture that culminated with the funerals of those 14 women in Montreal.

It was hard to swallow, but only a dullard could reject the logic outright.

And, at least partially as a result, open sexism and misogynistic humour became far less okay after Polytechnique, at least in polite company. It was a transformative moment.

Orlando gunman Omar MateenThe Orlando gunman has been identified as Omar Mateen, of Fort Pierce, Fla. Police say he was killed in a shootout with SWAT team members. (Omar Mateen/MySpace)

Now, after Omar Mateen armed himself, reportedly professed allegiance to ISIS and went hunting gays in an Orlando night club, could there possibly be a better time to have the same conversation about organized religion, and what responsibility it bears for the pain and misery and death inflicted on gays for so many centuries in the name of god?

And not just the Muslim god. That is happening now because of Mateen, and deservedly so, but restricting the discussion to Islam is far too easy.

Islam may be more overt about its homophobia than the other major religions — anyone who's worked in the Middle East has heard some fool in high office declaring that there are no gays in Islam, and therefore no AIDS — but the fact is, conservative iterations of all the monotheistic faiths are deeply and actively and systemically anti-gay.

The sacred monotheistic texts contain prohibitions that would by just about any legal definition be considered hate speech in the modern secular world.

The Old Testament Book of Leviticus 20:13 states: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them."

The Old Testament Book of Leviticus, like other OT books presented the Mosaic Law as handed down from God. I know you don't believe in God, Neil, so that is all just foolishness to you, as is all religion. The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah were first told in the OT - God Himself providing the fire and brimstone.

That was OT. With the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God completely changed the playing field. The only deaths at the hand of God in the New Testament happened to two people who chose to lie to the Holy Spirit. There is no mandate in the NT to punish anyone outside of the church; the mandate is to love them. To show them the love of Christ Who died for us while we were yet sinners.

I admit we do an abysmal job at that. Many 'Christians' want to invoke OT laws in an attempt to create a Utopian society. They are completely wrong and they alienate those who most need salvation. This is the opposite of what Christ taught us to do and is the reason why the church has rendered itself unChrist-like and incapable of carrying out the Great Commission.

The Qu'ran proscribes sex between Muslim males, and mandates punishment, although it does sometimes allow for leniency. Elsewhere, though, it cites the destruction of Sodom, held as divine punishment for homosexual sex, as a lesson.

And the Hadith, the Qu'ranic commentaries, contain references to punishing the "abomination" of gay sex with stoning or immolation.

Mohammed, 1400 years ago, reversed the message of grace in the NT and returned people to OT legalism. Jesus did not suffer and die so God could put the world back under legalism. This apparent reversal of direction for God only serves to verify that Islam's Allah is not the God of the Bible and not the God of Abraham. He is, in fact, not a god at all!

Such prohibitions could be dismissed as antediluvian anachronisms, not to be taken seriously in the modern world.

But of course they are taken quite seriously. Deadly seriously.

Rights and religious freedom

Fundamentalists and traditionalists of all three faiths not only regard such passages as divine instruction, they actually portray their homophobia as a matter of religious freedom; something noble, protected by constitutions and essential to democracy, when in fact they are working to oppress and deny fundamental rights to people based solely upon the sexuality with which they were born.

As a Christian of some 30 years and a veteran of more than a dozen churches and several denominations - I have never viewed homophobia that way, nor have I ever met anyone who did.

There is no scientific proof that anyone was ever born gay. The dean of gay genetic research, the guy who started the lie that gays are born gay, Dean Hamer, now has stated that the majority of gays are NOT born gay.

If being gay was inherited it would have bred itself out of existence long ago.  The majority of gays, at least, are gay because of environmental factors in their childhood - very dominant mother, very weak father, distant or unknown father, abusive father, etc.

Supreme Court Gay Marriage What Might Happen

Supreme Court Gay Marriage What Might Happen
California's Proposition 8 to overturn the state's legalization of same-sex marriage passed with the support of major churches in 2008, but was later overturned in the courts. (Rich Pedroncelli/AP)

A perfect example is Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative whose purpose was to block the advance of same-sex marriage, on the grounds that it would somehow harm or invalidate heterosexual marriage, and would result in schoolchildren being taught that gay sex is normal and acceptable.

Prop 8 proponents included the Roman Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the California Catholic Conference of bishops, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the Mormons), the Union of Orthodox Jewish Organizations of America and assorted evangelical Christian groups. Together, they poured a fortune into the campaign. The Mormons alone provided $20 million.

They won, then immediately lost when the initiative was vacated by secular courts.

Since then, organized religions have continued their anti-gay activities, often going to court to ensure their right to discriminate against gays in hospitals and schools and other religiously affiliated institutions.

Yes, it is true that Pope Francis has softened his church's line on homosexuality. But his tolerance is only remarkable in contrast to his hardline predecessor, and church doctrine remains unchanged.

Nightclub Shooting Florida

Nightclub Shooting Florida
Kelvin Cobaris, a local clergyman, consoles Orlando city commissioner Patty Sheehan, right, and Terry DeCarlo, an Orlando gay-rights advocate, as they arrive on the scene near where a mass shooting occcured in Orlando, Fla., Sunday. (Joe Burbank/Orlando Sentinel via Associated Press)

It is also true that the Reform and to an extent the Conservative streams of Judaism have moderated their tone where gays are concerned.

Not so Islam. That religion remains largely hostile to gays, and anti-gay sentiment is woven into the laws of many Muslim countries.

Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar, a British-born physician and imam, has spoken at public venues in the United States, softly and diffidently asserting that as a matter of compassion, homosexuals should be put to death.

There are many, many other sheikhs like Farrokh Sekaleshfar.

And while evangelical Christians don't seek the death penalty for homosexuality, many do want it punished. In 2004, Dr. Richard Land, the Oxford-educated former president of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, told me on camera he thought gay sex should be outlawed.

This is very unfortunate that a man with those credentials could be so unlike Christ. Christ didn't outlaw anything; He concentrated solely on spiritual aspects of life. It is to our own shame that so few of us Christians follow His example.

In any event, this much is singularly true: the worst mass murder in American history was directed at one group, and it was done by some one who had sworn allegiance to a fundamentalist religious group.

If casual misogyny and sexist humour helped create Marc Lépine, then organized religion must reflect on helping shape a culture that will this week have led to 50 funerals in Florida. It's not just the extremists who want to deprive gays of human rights.

People of faith might ask themselves this: even if they've never so much as lifted a hand to a gay person, have they smiled at a homophobic joke? Or overlooked mistreatment? Or nodded during an anti-gay sermon?

And if so, wouldn't this be a good time to speak up?

I am speaking up, but if Christians won't listen to God, they are not likely to listen to me.

Why Islam is so Evil - One Weird Theory

Previously posted as: Why Islam is so Violent and Murderous

As the horrors of Paris sink in to a shocked and dismayed world, it behooves some people to think such evil is possible in the 21st century. Yet, the violence in Europe is increasing in tempo, in intensity, and in extent, and there is no reason to believe that it will not continue to get worse. Why is it happening? I believe I have put it into context below. Beware, this is not politically correct!

Grief pours out for the 129+ murdered by Muslims
Satan has been attempting to, and often succeeding in destroying anything that is godly. He’s done a pretty effective job having seduced Adam and Eve into sinning resulting in every human being ever born to be born with a sin nature; every human except Jesus.

Consequently, Satan had the world under his control, except for one small band of people – the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They were under God’s protection, they had the privilege of being able to sacrifice a lamb once a year to cover their sins for that year, and they had the Law.

Mosaic  law

The Mosaic Law made it obvious, even to the worst sinners, what was good and what was not. By so doing, it revealed Satan at every turn and completely stifled him and his plans. Nevertheless, he had a plan to turn the Law up-side-down; to turn what is good to evil and what is evil to good. But God completely crossed (no pun intended) him up by sending His Son, Jesus, to be the perfect and final sacrifice for sin. Because of Jesus, anyone, Jew, Greek, American, etc., could have their sins forgiven and their sin nature rendered impotent by Grace.

Grace

Satan has no answer for grace. He cannot overcome it. He can try and confuse people, lie to them, tempt them, but he has no real power over them. Consequently, Satan spent the next 600 years following the Cross in developing a new plan. All his hopes and ambitions had been predicated on the Law, so he found a way to reintroduce the Law to many of the peoples of the earth.

His plan was implemented by his messenger, Mohammed.

Mohammed put the Arab world back under law. No grace in Islam, it is all legalism. The essential difference between grace and law is that grace works in the heart and will of man by the very presence of the Giver of grace, Jesus Christ. Satan cannot touch that.

The law works externally forcing people to try and do what they are completely incapable of doing – being righteous. Only the righteousness of Jesus Christ can save us from judgment; we are completely incapable of living a righteous life because of our sin nature – regardless of how weak it may be for some.

But in reestablishing the law, Satan was once again able to regain some considerable power over those who give themselves over to it. Not only that, but Satan was able to implement his plan to turn the law up-side-down right from its genesis; good became evil, and evil became good. Following the Jewish God, believing in His Son, became evil in Mohammed’s law and it became a virtue to murder such people and cleanse the earth of their ‘unrighteousness’.

Not only did murder become a virtue, but slavery, rape and child rape were all touted as being good for both the victim and the perpetrator. But then, Mohammed, in his 50s, took his 9 year old wife off the playground to consummate their marriage. It was he who declared it lawful for a man to consummate a marriage as soon as a girl was capable of withstanding the assault. Such judgment was left up to the individual pedophile. And it was Mohammed who stated that it was lawful for a man to do whatever he wanted to a non-Muslim woman or girl in his power. ‘In his power’ means anyone he can grab and rape, anytime, anywhere. This definition is still practiced all over Europe today.

This is Islam! Evil from its core! Evil from its roots! Flat-out evil!

Islam has a certain appeal to people, but, amazingly, the more violent the version of Islam, the more appealing it is. The idea that a martyr, ie., suicide bomber (murderer of innocent women and children) should be rewarded by going straight to paradise where 72 virgins await him, is so moronic that it is amazing anyone actually falls for it, but many do. That’s part of the law, I guess, where ‘Allah’ appeals to the flesh rather than the spirit of man; God never appeals to the basest part of man. That a man should go to Heaven so he can have endless sex is utterly ludicrous. All those so-called 'martyrs' of Islam are burning in Hell right now and forever.

The God of Abraham

Muslims, Jews and Christians all claim Abraham as the father of their religion. Is this correct? The story of Abraham being tested in sacrificing his only son was written in the Old Testament several thousand years ago. Isaac was the son of Abraham through whom all Jews and Christians have their roots. This was also confirmed in the genealogy in the New Testament nearly 2000 years ago.

Not Muslims! They decided about 1300 years ago that it was Ishmael who was the legitimate son of Abraham and it was he whom Abraham nearly sacrificed. The Old Testament makes it clear that Ishmael was born of ’the flesh’, of unbelief, to Sarah’s servant, therefore illegitimate. In fact, God told Abraham to take his ‘only’ son to be sacrificed - God, himself did not recognize Ishmael as legitimate. This is the lie at the very core of Islam.

One more problem, actually there are myriad problems with Islam, is that they believe that Allah is alone without a Son, without a Holy Spirit. Since the New Testament is all about Jesus Christ, and a good portion of the Old Testament points directly to Jesus Christ, a one-person God, rather than a triune God is also a departure from the truth.

Allah is not the God of Abraham!
Allah is Satan!
And Mohammed is his messenger!
