The name Muhammad topped the list of most popular baby names for boys in Alberta last year, when all its spelling variations were counted. The name beat out names like Noah, Theodore and Oliver.

According to data released by the Government of Alberta, Muhammad was the most popular baby boy name in 2025, with 270 boys born with the name. Common spellings include Muhammed, Muhamad, Mohammad, Mohammed, Mahammad, Maxamed, Mehemmed, Mehemmet, Mohamad and Mohamed.

The next most common boys names were Noah (259), Theodore (204), Oliver (184), Henry (180), Jack and Lucas (tied at 153), Levi (152), Liam (145), James (125), William (123), and Benjamin and Bennett (tied at 122).

Muhammad was also the most popular name in the City of Toronto last year, and in 2024, moving up from fourth place in 2023.

For girls, the most popular names in Alberta last year were Olivia, Amelia, Emma and Sophia (tied), Charlotte, Violet, Isla, Ellie and Nora (tied), Eliana, Chloe, Evelyn and Lily (tied), and Aurora.

Isn't it odd that there are no obviously Muslim names among the girls being born? Names like: Aisha ("prosperous"), Maryam ("beloved/mother of Prophet Isa"), Fatima ("daughter of the Prophet"), Zahra ("radiant"), and Aaliyah ("exalted"). Other frequently chosen names include Zainab, Inaya, Amina, Layla, and Zara.

None of those names appear near the top of the list. I wonder why?

War on Christianity > What's Next for Syria? Blasphemy in a Greek Orthodox Church by Minister of Culture

Syria: Islamic chanter enters Greek Orthodox church with minister of culture, sings hymn saying Christ was created

If a Christian minister of state had gone into a mosque in the presence of a chanter who sang a hymn contradicting Islamic beliefs, we’d never hear the end of it. But this will pass by unremarked.

Syrian minister of culture sparks controversy with Islamic chant in Orthodox church

Syrian minister of culture sparks controversy with Islamic chant in Orthodox church

Syrian Culture Minister Mohammed Saleh was criticized this week after a video surfaced showing him at a historic Orthodox church with Islamic chanter Al-Mu’tasim Billah Al-Assali, who performed an Islamic hymn with lyrics that directly contradict Christian beliefs.

According to ACI MENA, CNA’s Arabic-language news partner, the video was filmed inside the Church of St. Ananias in Damascus, a Greek Orthodox landmark built in 1815. It shows Saleh with Billah Al-Assali, who performed a chant that calls Christ “a creation” and says that he came “bearing good news of Mohammad.”

The footage sparked a backlash on social media, drawing criticism from Christians as well as Muslims who voiced disapproval and described it as a “provocation.”

"Good news of Mohammed" - thats hilarious. Christ fulfilled the Law and introduced grace and the Holy Spirit to His followers. Mohammed ended Christ as the Son of God, the Holy Spirit, and grace, and reintroduced the Law to his followers. Where's the good news there?

Islam's Maniacal Hatred for Jews goes back 1400 Years

Letter in Yemen from 800 Years Ago Exposes the Truth About Muslims

November 30, 2023 9.5K views

This letter in Yemen written by the famous Jewish sage the Rambam reveals something about Muslims that the world refuses to admit.

The Ancient Letter in Yemen

If only the world knew history. Or maybe they know it and they choose to ignore it. But the problem is, history reveals the truth about what you need to know regarding what the world likes to call the Middle East conflict. When will people wake up and see that Muslims murdering Jews is not about land? When will they realize that Muslims have persecuted Jews for hundreds and hundreds of years? This letter in Yemen is not from a few years ago. It’s from more than 800 years ago! And it was written by one of the greatest Jewish sages of all time, the Rambam or Maimonides.

The Muslims who try to murder the Jewish people don’t want land and they don’t want to live peacefully with Jews. They want to destroy the one and only Jewish state, and they want to murder Jews everywhere.

The truth is so, so obvious. People really have to cover their eyes not to see it. And even then it is blaring and loud! You don’t need to be a genius to learn history and see reality.

Wake up, world. This is not only about the Jewish people. Israel is fighting your war on the front lines. You have no choice but to defend Israel and the Jewish nation. You either stand with Israel or you stand with Muslim terrorism. The right side should be obvious. So pick it.

Hamas terrorists: “Our issue is not just Palestine, our mission is to kill every infidel. We will follow Jews and Christians around the world. Either they convert to Islam or we will kill them!” Hamas is a terrorist organization and must be destroyed!
