UK study of its four million-plus Muslims finds 1 in 4 hold favorable views of Hamas and the IRGC
The study results are alarming, since those who support the jihad are on a mission for the expansion of the scope of Sharia.
The most concerning results of the Policy Exchange think tank study concerns Muslim attitudes toward the Jewish people, and the fact that “over half of Muslims in the UK would want to criminalise the depiction of the Islamic prophet. Additionally, 63% of UK Muslims would make it a criminal offence to burn a copy of the Qur’an.” 24% support violently attacking someone who commits such offenses. That’s nearly a million Muslims, and the UK is even smaller than Michigan. Also, those numbers don’t even include supporters of the stealth jihad.
Why aren’t more peaceful Muslims coming out in full condemnation of these attitudes throughout the West, instead of being apologists for Islam? No one in power ever seems to ask this question or ponder its implications.
Those who have been downplaying the threat of Sharia in Western countries continue to contribute to the destruction of the West and its freedoms.
‘Islamopopulism’: Over One in Four UK Muslims Hold Positive View of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Terrorist Force
by Kurt Zindulka, Breitbart, May 7, 2026:
Muslims in Britain are far more likely to hold positive opinions of terrorist groups in the Middle East, Antisemitic attitudes towards Jewish people, support blasphemy laws, and see their religion as more important than their national identity, a report has found.
The “Understanding Islamopopulism” report from the Policy Exchange think tank has cast doubt over the feasibility of successfully integrating the four million plus Muslims into broader British society and democratic system. The report found that UK Muslims are increasingly favouring single-issue pro-Gaza politicians over the left-wing Labour Party, which they hitherto largely supported.
However, polling conducted for the firm of over 1,000 Muslims last month by JL Partners found that the group appears to be significantly out of step with the British public as a whole on major dividing issues. The report questioned if the rise of “Islamopopulism” could result in the voting bloc becoming so “toxic” that larger parties may fear aligning themselves with British Muslims. The report also suggested that contrary blocs, such as conservative or Hindu voters, may coalesce around opposing candidates backed by Islamopopulist forces.
The survey of UK Muslim adults “found concerning levels of favourable feelings towards terrorist organisations which have been proscribed by the Home Office.” For instance, the poll found that one in four British Muslims hold a positive view of the Palestinian Hamas terrorists behind the October 7th terror attacks on Israel. Meanwhile, the survey found that 23 per cent held a favourable view of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which has been behind the proliferation of terror throughout the Middle East, 16 per cent held a favourable view of the so-called Islamic State (ISIS), and 15 per cent held a favourable view of Al-Qaeda….

The Islamic Takeover of Europe Accelerates
Europe’s leaders have, with a few honorable exceptions, failed to recognize the severity of the threat of continued Muslim migration to the Western world. They prefer to turn a blind eye to the demographic change in their countries, as the percentage of the population that is Muslim inexorably rises through both migration and fertility rates much higher than those of the indigenous non-Muslims. Some of those leaders see Muslims as a potential source of political support, and shape their policies accordingly.
We’re not quite there yet, but Nils Haug sees the mene-tekel on the wall, and fears for the future of Europe, as the population of Muslims inexorably increases and European leaders refuse to support America and Israel in their fight against the Muslim enemies of Western civilization. More on his grim prediction can be found here:
Islam’s Turbocharged Takeover of Europe
by Nils A. Haug, Gatestone Institute, May 6, 2026:
The battle lines for the preservation of Western civilization were drawn long before the murder of the Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh in 2004. The double-dealing actions of many European leaders have been endlessly on display for all to see.
Now, both the US and Israel — in their quest to stop the indefatigable enemies of the West and maintain free trade, democracy, and military deterrence against these predators — may have found themselves thwarted. By whom? By their “allies,” no less: Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
These nations, along with Norway, Denmark, Slovenia and Canada, have imposed sanctions, restrictions, and punitive measures of various sorts against Israel during its efforts to defend itself — and them! — against enemies of civilization and the West. The threat, with ballistic missiles, was to come from Iran, about to achieve nuclear weapons capability in two weeks or less, as well as from the regime’s proxy jihadist forces, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.
Similar measures, designed to frustrate the Israel-America coalition against an openly predatory Iran, seem to have arisen from two main sources. The first has been the anti-democratic influence of Islam in the domestic affairs of Western Europe; the second, from a deep-seated anti-Semitic doctrine in Europe, now more present than ever – and being strongly reinforced.
Jews have been unwelcome wherever they were since the time of the Pharaohs 4,000 years ago. Jews have been expelled by the Babylonians in 597 BCE, the Romans in 136 CE, the English in 1290, the French in 1306, and the Spanish in 1492.
The notion that Jews were victims at every time and in every place is simply wrong. Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Persian Empire, ended the Babylonian captivity of the Jews in 538 B.C. After conquering Babylon, Cyrus issued a decree allowing the Jews to return to their homeland of Judea, and authorized the rebuilding of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. And while Jews were expelled from Spain in 1492, those same Jews were welcomed to settle in Amsterdam and in Salonika. And while Jews were expelled from England in 1290, Oliver Cromwell welcomed them back around 1656. In France, after having been expelled in 1306, Jews were re-admitted in 1791, after the Revolution, and given equal rights to all others in France. In America, there never was any official antisemitism. Before the resurrection of the Jewish state in Israel, America has been the safest and best place for Jews to live.
Iran, it turned out, indeed possesses ballistic missiles capable of reaching deep into Europe, yet European nations remained unperturbed….
And the Iranians are now working on intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of hitting the continental United States.
Since World War II, the US has been the backbone of NATO, while Europe has parasitically fed off America to jump to its defense. Instead of developing military preparedness, Europeans have, for years, reduced their forces in favor of funding, in addition to their own citizens, millions of newcomers [overwhelmingly Muslim economic migrants] who are not shy about saying how much they loathe their new domiciles. Without the burden of building functioning militaries, at first their economies prospered enormously – at America’s expense. They have now been exposed as “paper tigers,” while Russia is in the midst of trying to seize Crimea and Ukraine.
Again, this needs correction. Russia is not “in the midst of trying to seize Crimea.” Russia seized and annexed Crimea in 2014. And the European members of NATO are not “paper tigers” anymore; they have been raising their spending on their military to 5% of their GDP, as NATO required in the past, but often overlooked. That 5% goal will be reached for all NATO members by 2028. Meanwhile, the European NATO members have been sending much more aid to Ukraine than has the United States. Between January 2022 and August 2025, European countries and institutions (EU) committed roughly $201.7 billion in total support, compared to $130.6 billion from the US.

German Labor Minister:
‘No One Comes for the Welfare’
Defying reality, Germany’s labor minister claims that the migrants flooding into Germany are “not arriving for the welfare” — that is, they are not coming to take advantage of all the benefits that the generous German welfare state lavishes on migrants, but to find employment opportunities unavailable at home, or to flee from civil strife. But many of these migrants, who are overwhelmingly Muslim, choose to go to Germany because of its lavish welfare benefits, and once they come to Germany, they are in no hurry to be employed; they prefer to live on the government-provided benefits, which include free or greatly subsidized housing, free medical care, free education, family allowances, monthly stipends, and more. Nor is there any explanation from the labor minister as to why these immigrants choose to come to Germany, since she claims that they are “not arriving for the welfare,” rather than moving to another Muslim country if there is strife in their own. The only reason is that Germany provides a cornucopia of benefits; those Muslim states do not. More on the labor minister’s claim can be found here:
‘Nobody Comes for Welfare’: German Minister Faces Reality Check
by Zoltán Kottász, European Conservative, May 8, 2026:
Germany’s labour minister has been accused of denying reality after insisting “nobody immigrates into our social welfare system” despite government data showing foreigners are heavily overrepresented among welfare claimants.
The controversy erupted during a government question session on Wednesday, May 6th, when right-wing AfD MP René Springer asked why the government was not cutting spending “where it is obvious: immigration into our social systems” as Germany struggles with rising welfare costs and mounting budget pressure.
The welfare costs in Germany are rising pari passu with the increase in the migrant population. An estimated 30 billion euros are now spent each year on the migrant population. It’s a colossal sum.
Labour Minister Bärbel Bas dismissed the claim outright, arguing instead that immigration was helping to address labour shortages.
“We have a shortage of skilled workers in this country,” the minister from the Social Democrats (SPD) said, adding that many companies were reliant on foreign workers. She also took a swipe at Springer, suggesting he was unfamiliar with the needs of businesses across Germany.
And how many of those Muslim migrants are skilled workers? The labor minister speaks of migrants filling the need for “skilled workers,” but those arriving from Muslim countries are not only lacking in marketable skills, making them fit only for menial labor, but are unable to function in German. Few take advantage of the language tuition made available to them, or the vocational training they are offered. They arrived intending to live off the benefits the German government provides, and if they need more than that, some turn to crime — to street robberies, house burglaries, shoplifting, and drug trafficking. Muslims make up 6.5% of the population in Germany, but 22% of the country’s prisoners.
However, critics from across the political spectrum accused the minister of ignoring her own department’s statistics.
According to figures from the Federal Employment Agency, nearly half of Germany’s 5.3 million Bürgergeld recipients are foreign nationals. Including German citizens with a migration background pushes the figure above 63%.
Syrians, Ukrainians, Afghans, and Turks make up the largest groups claiming the benefit, with roughly 430,000 Syrians who arrived since 2015 still dependent on welfare.
Additional figures show that roughly 460,000 migrants were receiving support under Germany’s asylum seeker benefits system at the end of 2024….
Many of those asylum seekers have arrived in Germany from Syria since 2015, when Chancellor Angela Merkel opened wide the gates of Germany to a million migrants, when the civil war was going on. But with the end of that war, there is no reason for them to remain in Germany. Why are they not being forcibly deported? And why are Turks being given asylum? There is no domestic strife in Turkey. As for the Afghans, why are those fleeing the Taliban takeover being admitted to Germany? Would it not make more sense for them to move to Pakistan, another Sunni Muslim country next door to Afghanistan, where they would fit right in without the slightest friction?
Germany now spends more than 30 billion euros a year on its immigrant population. No wonder the government has had to cut support for old-age pensioners and the disabled. Every euro spent on an able-bodied migrant who is not working but soaking the system is a euro less available to spend on the truly needy Germans.
The anti-Muslim-immigrant party, Alternative für Deutschland, has pulled ahead of all the other parties in opinion polls. The people of Germany want a halt to that Muslim immigration, and only the AfD has the determination to enforce such a prohibition.
When one adds up the amounts provided to migrants for housing, healthcare, family allowances, and those Bürgergeld monthly payments of 563 euros ($665) to each migrant, a family of four receives each year the equivalent of more than $50,000, a colossal sum.
Meanwhile Sahra Wagenknecht said Bas had “lost all connection with reality.” The leader of the left-wing nationalist BSW argued that the growing number of foreign nationals claiming welfare was undermining confidence in the welfare state and damaging incentives to work.
The BSW party is both left-wing and, at the same time, opposes the extravagant sums spent on the migrants. This shows that the anti-migrant platform of the “right-wing” AfD is shared by some on the left as well, who see reducing the number of Muslim migrants less as a matter of protecting Germany from demographic conquest, and more as a matter of maintaining economic support for the elderly and infirm instead of spending so much on migrants. And imagine what that opposition would be like if Germans were to learn that the Muslims they have been admitting into their countries are instructed by their holy book, the Qur’an, that Muslims are “the best of peoples,” while non-Muslims are “the most vile of created beings.” Why would anyone of sense admit into his home people who are taught to despise him?

8 in 10 Germans believe that Germany has failed to solve its crisis of mass Muslim migration
A recent German TV report and Austrian court ruling renewed debate over the Islamic Sharia and fear of a parallel justice system in Germany. Read more HERE.
I recently wrote on Jihad Watch about a new pattern of Muslim intimidation in German schools: “The warnings are flooding in everywhere. Amid its apathy, the West is rapidly losing its freedom, as Islam is expanding via its indefatigable zeal. Wolfgang Büscher, the spokesman of Christian NGO Arche, has specifically stated that ‘if politics does not intervene now, we could rue this bitterly in a few years.’ The problem is the red-green alliance. Once the left or even the weaker elements of the right rules the political realm, Islam will prevail. Büscher simply notes what Germany and every leftist-governed country that hosted the hijrah should have expected.”
Regardless of the cuts in illegal immigration and asylum applications, the impacts of mass migration policies over the past ten years, following former Chancellor Angela Merkel’s unilateral decision to open the gates of Europe to the Middle East and Africa, are likely to be felt for decades to come.
The overwhelming majority of the German public is dissatisfied with the performance of Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s coalition government on immigration.
A survey from INSA on behalf of Berlin’s BILD newspaper this week found that 78 per cent of voters do not think that the government has sufficiently addressed the immigration issue. In contrast, just 11 per cent of voters agreed with Chancellor Merz’s declaration that “large parts” of the migrant crisis have been solved.
Perhaps more crucially, even supporters of the Merz’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and its regional sister party, the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU), remain pessimistic over the government’s performance, one year after coming to power, with 73 per cent of Union voters disagreeing with the Chancellor compared to 20 per cent who agreed.
The Merz government has managed to bring down illegal immigration compared to its predecessor, run by the Social Democrats, with whom Merz had to partner to form a government last year, but not by a consequential degree. Federal police identified around 62,000 cases of illegal entries in 2025, down from 83,572 in the previous year and from 127,549 in 2023.
The number of first-time asylum applications has dropped significantly, however, with 113,236 initial applications in 2025, compared to 229,751 in 2024, and 329,120 in 2023.
Nevertheless deportations, particularly to migrant hotspots such as Afghanistan and Syria, remain limited, with just around 22,000 migrants being removed from the country last year….
