This Week's Islamic Massacres > 13 Christians, 18 loggers, 30 soldiers massacred in Nigeria by Islamic gangs

Nigeria: Muslims murder 13 Christians in jihad raids in Plateau state

Meanwhile, relying upon the ignorance and indifference of Westerners, Islamic apologists such as Mehdi Hasan and others deny there is any genocide of Christians in Nigeria. In reality, nothing could more obvious than this genocide. This isn’t a genocide-for-propaganda-purposes such as the one in Gaza, featuring obese “Palestinians” and rising population numbers. The Muslim genocide of Christians in Nigeria is all too real.

Fulani Terrorists Kill 13 Christians in Plateau State, Nigeria

Morning Star News, May 8, 2026:

ABUJA, Nigeria (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – Slaughters of Christians continued in Plateau state, Nigeria on Friday (May 8) as Fulani herdsmen killed 13 Christians in Bassa County, sources said.

Muslim Fulani gunmen killed the Christians in a pre-dawn attack on Ngbra Zongo community in Kwall District, said Joseph Chudu Yonkpa, spokesperson of area Miango communities in a statement issued in Jos.

Among those killed were three pregnant women, he said.

“The attack has left dozens of other Christians injured, hundreds of others displaced,” Yonkpa said….

On April 16 in Riwhie-Chwo village in Bassa County’s Miango District, herdsmen ambushed and beheaded another Christian, Yonkpa said. He identified the slain Christian as 30-year-old Elisha Abbas Saku….

A Christian community in Plateau state’s Riyom area came under attack by Fulani herdsmen on Tuesday (May 5) at about midnight, residents said.

“Our community of Rim is currently experiencing massive attacks from armed Fulani herdsmen,” resident Martha Dalyop said by phone at about 2 a.m. Wednesday (May 6). “The village has been surrounded, and shooting is being carried out indiscriminately.”

Herdsmen also attacked the Rim area on April 26, killing a pastor and three family members. The Rev. Ayuba Choji, his wife, Chundung Choji, and their two children, Cyril and Endurance, were killed when armed herdsmen invaded the Rim community at midnight, according to a statement from the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA).

“In the early hours of April 26, the Rev. Ayuba Choji, his wife Chungdun, and two of their children Cyril and Endurance were brutally slaughtered in their home at the Gako mission field by Fulani militia men,” ECWA leaders stated.

A funeral for the pastor and his family was held in Kwi village, where he had led a church, they said.

“They were not victims,” the ECWA statement read. “They were martyrs whose lives were claimed by the ongoing genocide against Christians in Nigeria. They died exactly where they chose to stand in the line of duty, lamps burning, voices lifted, refusing to abandon the post God had given them.”

More Christians were killed in Nigeria than in any other country from Oct. 1, 2024 to Sept. 30, 2025, according to Open Doors’ 2026 World Watch List. Of the 4,849 Christians killed worldwide for their faith during that period, 3,490 – 72 percent – were Nigerians, an increase from 3,100 the prior year. Nigeria ranked No. 7 on the WWL list of the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian….

Nigeria: Muslims round up a group of loggers and open fire on them, murdering 18

The idea for an attack of this kind comes straight from the Qur’an: “Make ready for them all that you can of force and of warhorses, so that by them you may strike terror in the enemy of Allah and your enemy…” — Qur’an 8:60

In the jihadis’ ideal scenario, those who are terrorized will leave the area, leaving it for the Muslims and expanding the domains of Islam.

18 Nigerian loggers killed in attack

AFP, May 8, 2026 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Boko Haram jihadists have killed 18 loggers in northeast Nigerian Borno state, local sources told AFP Thursday, as people displaced by jihadists struggle to feed their families amid worsening attacks….

According to the sources, Boko Haram fighters on motorcycles rounded up a group of loggers who had gone into the bush outside the village of Abaram in the Bama district on Wednesday and opened fire on them.

“We recovered 11 bodies yesterday and seven more today, making a total of 18 killed in the attack,” Ibrahim Liman, a member of an anti-jihadist militia assisting the military, said.

“Initially, we thought only 11 were killed but when others did not show up this morning a search was launched and seven more bodies were found in the bush,” Liman added.

All the victims had gunshot wounds on them, according to Bukar Ibrahim, a resident of the town of Bama, who gave the same toll. The seven victims found on Thursday were pursued into the bush by the assailants as they tried to flee and shot, which made it difficult to trace them, Ibrahim said….

Nigeria: Islamic State jihadis carry out two coordinated jihad attacks on army camps, murdering 30 soldiers

Here yet again we see a jihad force that appears to be more powerful and likely better funded than the national military force that ostensibly opposes it. There seems to be little curiosity among authorities, however, about the jihad groups’ sources of funding.
