Fall out from the Charlie Kirk Assassination > Teachers and Professors across the USA in trouble; U of T professor put on leave for unbelievably stupid, evil, vulgar comment

As Christians mourn the death and celebrate the life of Charlie Kirk, the godless can't seem to help but to out themselves by rejoicing in the murder of a godly man.

Where does such hate come from?  Charlie was killed for one reason - because he was so effective at communicating the Truth of Jesus Christ, and in so doing, he displayed the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. This is anathema to the godless left. It completely invalidates them

AAaAfter Charlie Kirk's death, teachers and professors nationwide fired or disciplined over social media posts

At least a dozen faculty and staff have faced fallout over insensitive comments online.

Following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk this week, educators across the country have found themselves facing swift termination or potential discipline after allegedly sharing opinions on social media about the killing.

At least a dozen faculty and staff, from school board officials to classroom teachers, have been met with fallout over insensitive posts about Kirk’s death. In at least two instances, universities fired staff members entirely for posts deemed inappropriate.

Many other educators have been suspended or are under investigation, and the number is likely to grow as conservative online influencers share screenshots.

At East Tennessee State University, two faculty members have been placed on administrative leave pending further review, school spokesperson Jess Vodden said. Complaints sent to the university included screenshots of Facebook comments, according to copies the school shared with NBC News, that one faculty member allegedly made in response to Kirk’s death, including “you reap what you sow.” Another allegedly wrote, “This isn’t a tragedy. It’s a victory.”

Vodden said the university had received “numerous complaints” about the posts. “Because this is a personnel issue, we cannot offer further comment at this time,” she said.

Middle Tennessee State University fired a staff member, according to a statement shared Wednesday by President Sidney McPhee.

State officials are weighing in as well, with the Florida Department of Education sending a memo to school district superintendents Thursday, threatening investigation and disciplinary action against educators who have commented on Kirk’s death in a manner it deems inappropriate.

“It has been brought to my attention that some Florida educators have posted despicable comments on social media regarding the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk,” said the memo, signed by Florida Education Commissioner Anastasios Kamoutsas. “I will be conducting an investigation of every educator who engages in this vile, sanctionable behavior.”

Oklahoma’s state superintendent, Ryan Walters, similarly promised to investigate teachers making incendiary comments on social media about Kirk’s death, and he confirmed his department is investigating one middle school educator called out on X.

Kirk, the 31-year-old co-founder of conservative activist organization Turning Point USA, was killed Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University, a public school south of Salt Lake City. Officials on Friday identified a 22-year-old Utah resident, now in custody, as the suspect in the shooting.

Kirk was shot and killed during one of his regular events on college campuses hosted by Turning Point USA. The organization grew since 2012 to claim over 800 college campus chapters and 1,000 high school clubs, and it is credited with helping Donald Trump win a higher share of young voters.

Kirk was known for taking contentious stances, including the false claim that the 2020 election was stolen and comments he made about Black peoplethe LGBTQ communityfeminism, and immigration.

Turning Point USA hosts a “Professor Watchlist” and “School Board Watchlist,” websites that called out faculty and school board members, respectively, over allegedly promoting far-left ideology. The sites have faced criticism.

In recent years, right-wing activists have followed in the group’s footsteps of pinpointing academics and teachers over comments they make in classes or online. And in the two days since Kirk’s death, they’ve circulated examples of school and university employees celebrating or making light of his death, often tagging the district or college where they work.

University of Mississippi Chancellor Glenn Boyce said in a statement on X that a staff member was let go due to comments the individual had “re-shared” on social media. The school did not immediately respond to NBC News’ request for further details.

“These comments run completely counter to our institutional values of civility, fairness, and respecting the dignity of each person,” Boyce wrote Thursday. “We condemn these actions, and this staff member is no longer employed by the university.”

Several K-12 school staff from Mariposa, California, to Orange Park, Florida, have also been placed on leave as school officials investigate social media posts, according to multiple reports. The school board in Oskaloosa, Iowa, plans to consider one teacher’s employment at the next school board meeting, after they allegedly posted, “1 Nazi down,” regarding Kirk’s killing.

At Newport News Public Schools in Virginia, an unidentified staff member was suspended after allegedly writing on Facebook, “I hope he suffered through all of it,” in regard to Kirk’s death, according to NBC affiliate WAVY of Portsmouth.

“Given that employees have a unique responsibility to serve as role models, leaders, and caretakers for students in the school division, certain behaviors are deemed inconsistent with employment in the division,” Robert C. White, a spokesperson for the schools, said in a statement that did not identify the teacher. “Therefore, employees are expected to exercise professional judgment when using social media.”

A Baylor University graduate student lost their job as a student teacher in Texas’ Midway Independent School District due to a post they allegedly made on social media about Kirk’s death. A district spokesperson told NBC News that school officials coordinated with the university to immediately remove them from being around students. Baylor posted on X that it is “greatly disappointed” in the graduate student.

Adam Goldstein, vice president of strategic initiatives at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, questioned the value of trying to oust people from their professions over insensitive remarks they make on social media.

“If we create a climate of fear so that everyone is afraid to talk,” Goldstein added, “then we’ve actually kind of accomplished the goals of people who wanted to silence Charlie Kirk in the first place.”

Canada: University of Toronto professor calls Charlie Kirk murder ‘too good’; now on ‘leave'

  By

Following the violent assassination of Charlie Kirk, University of Toronto professor Ruth Marshall posted on X: Shooting is honestly too good for so many of you fascist c****.”

Creepy doesn’t begin to describe Marshall’s mentality, particularly in light of the fact that she is a professor on campus, imparting her views to youth.

Marshall subsequently deleted her post. According to the National Post, “the university took immediate action upon learning of the concerning social media posts.” Marshall is now on leave.

Her anti-evangelical stance is evident in her work. The University of Toronto has currently denied access to her pages in the Departments of Political Science and the Study of Religion.

Read more sickening statements coming out of Canada HERE. And now the State Department is “keeping track of people inside and outside of their country who are applauding the conservative influencer’s murder.”

Such people are domestic terror threats.

As Trump rightly stated:

Radical left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives. Tonight, I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died.

According to a survey of 68,000 college students at 257 universities, one in three students support violence against opposing speakers. With professors like Marshall on the loose and influencing young minds, it’s no wonder.

U of T prof saying ‘shooting’ is ‘too good’ for fascists is ‘disgusting,’ says Ford

by Joe Warmington, Toronto Sun, September 11, 2025:

Ontario’s premier was responding to Dr. Ruth Marshall’s X post following the political assassination of Charlie Kirk on Thursday.

“Shooting is honestly too good for so many of you fascist c****,” was what was posted on her X account just hours after the American commentator was shot and killed while speaking to students at a Utah college.

“That is disgusting,” Ford told The Toronto Sun on Thursday. “Sick people.”

This professor was not alone in offering disturbing comments following this heinous slaying. There were many bizarre responses to this evil from Canadian political and media personalities.

But the ones by the associate professor for the study of religion and political science at the St. George campus sparked much shock and disgust.

“University of Toronto Political professor on the death of Charlie Kirk: “If you’re wondering why the kids are getting so radicalized in our universities now,” posted The Pleb Reporter. “These are the vile teachers who are brainwashing them.”

It also shines the light on why many conservatives are nervous to express their views – not just for the risk of being shot or worse, as the professor tweeted, but just in terms of losing status, marks or future opportunity….

Education - Latin America Rising > Strengths and Weaknesses in Education Systems

Brazil, Peru show biggest gaps in student outcomes in Latin America, report says

By Macarena Hermosilla

July 7 (UPI) -- A new regional report highlights sharp disparities in student achievement across Latin America, driven by socioeconomic status and gender. Brazil and Peru top the list for inequality, while Chile and Uruguay show higher levels of equity.

Education inequality remains one of the primary challenges in Latin America, according to a report by the School of Education at Universidad Austral, a private university in Argentina. The study is based on the 2022 PISA results -- the latest test administered by the OECD -- across seven countries in the region: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.

The report evaluates how many 15-year-olds reach basic proficiency in math and reading, comparing outcomes by socioeconomic background and gender. Researchers assessed the performance gap between the bottom 20% and the top 20% of students in each country.

The inequality indicator shows that, in reading comprehension, the countries with the highest disparities are Peru, Colombia and Argentina. For every three students from high-income backgrounds who understand what they read, only one from a low-income background does. Chile showed the lowest disparity, while Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico fell in the middle.

Across all countries, girls outperformed boys in reading comprehension, though the socioeconomic gap remained significant.

In math, Brazil had the highest inequality in the region. For every five high-income students who met minimum standards, only one low-income student did. Peru and Argentina followed closely. Chile and Uruguay showed smaller, though still notable, gaps.

Among low-income students, boys consistently outperformed girls in math in all seven countries. However, among wealthier students, girls scored higher than boys in most countries -- except Mexico and Peru.

The report also found that girls from low-income backgrounds face a "double disadvantage" in math, performing worse than both low-income boys and high-income girls.

The report's authors, economists Eugenia Orlicki and Cecilia Adrogué, recommend targeted policies to address these disparities. Their proposals include literacy programs, stronger early childhood education, focused math interventions and integrating a gender perspective in the classroom.

Despite broader access to education, inequality in the region has deepened, the report notes. Inclusion, the authors conclude, only matters if all students are truly learning.

Education > 10 Commandments back on the walls of Louisiana schools

*Now this should spark some left-wing hysteria!

Louisiana orders schools to display the Ten Commandments in all classrooms

Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry on Wednesday signed into law a bill that makes the state the only one in the country to require displaying the Ten Commandments in every public school classroom.

The American Civil Liberties Union immediately announced it would sue to block the law, saying it violates the constitutional separation of church and state and a US Supreme Court ruling.

Landry signed the bill along with a package of others he said were designed to "expand faith in public schools."

"If you want to respect the rule of law, you've got to start from the original law-giver, which was Moses," Landry said at the signing ceremony.

In the Christian and Jewish faiths, God revealed the Ten Commandments to Hebrew prophet Moses.

Other measures would authorise the hiring of chaplains in schools, restrict teachers from mentioning sexual orientation or gender identity, and prevent schools from using a transgender student's preferred name or pronouns unless granted permission by parents.

Landry also signed bills that would expand tutoring for underperforming students, help improve math skills, and impose fewer curriculum mandates on teachers.

Civil rights group ACLU and its Louisiana chapter along with Americans United for Separation of Church and State and the Freedom from Religion Foundation announced they would file a lawsuit to challenge the law that requires a specific text of the Ten Commandments be prominently displayed in all classrooms.

No other state has such a law, the groups said in a statement.

"Politicians have no business imposing their preferred religious doctrine on students and families in public schools," the statement said.

The First Amendment of the US Constitution prohibits government from the "establishment of religion," and in 1980 the US Supreme Court ruled in Stone v. Graham that a Kentucky law on the posting of the Ten Commandments in school was unconstitutional.

UNRWA and The Hamas War > 3000 UNRWA teachers praise Oct 7th bloodbath - It's time for UNRWA to go!

UN’s Palestinian teachers exposed as Hamas-loving jihadis:

Congress learns of Telegram club of 3,000 educators

praising ‘holy warriors’ who left Israelis ‘dead in hell’ on Oct. 7

by James Reinl, Daily Mail, January 30, 2024:

UN aid chiefs in Gaza faced mounting pressure on Tuesday, with revelations that 3,000 of their Palestinian teachers shared messages supporting Hamas militants as they raped and murdered civilians in Israel on Oct 7.

Hillel Neuer, the director of UN Watch, which monitors the UN, told Congress about his probe into a Telegram channel for UN teachers in Gaza that was filled with posts by members praising the bloodbath.

The hearing came in the wake of revelations that 12 employees of the UN’s Palestinian aid agency, UNRWA, took part in abductions and killings on Oct 7, prompting the US and others to halt funds for the agency.

Neuer on Tuesday told the House subcommittee that the disgraced UN agency should be permanently ‘dissolved.’

‘It’s time to stop pretending that UNRWA is at all fixable,’ said Neuer.

‘The very existence of a Telegram group of 3,000 teachers in which members celebrate Hamas atrocities is but a symptom of the core problem of UNRWA: its true purpose is to undo the 1948 creation of Israel.’

His investigation dug into a Telegram chat group used by UNRWA teachers for sharing files, staff names, and curriculum materials.

But it was also replete with posts celebrating Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel, praising the terrorists who raped and murdered civilians as ‘heroes.’

Users on the channel glorified the ‘education’ the terrorists received, shared photos of dead or captured Israelis, and called for hostages to be executed.

Some comments were posted within minutes of Hamas militants beginning their wave of rapes, murders, and kidnappings on Oct 7.

Safaa Mohammad Al Najjar, a group administrator, praised the act of ‘resistance’ and the ‘holy warriors’ who broke into Israeli territory.

She decorated her texts with a red heart emoji.

Another member of the group commented on a photo of a dead Hamas fighter.

‘Our martyrs are in heaven,’ he wrote, adding that Israel’s ‘dead are in hell.’

Satan often reverses the truth to lead his people astray.

Users also regularly share videos, photos, and messages inciting ‘Jihadi terrorism’ and openly celebrate the massacre and rape of civilians by Hamas terrorists, Neuer told the panel….

Neuer is right! It's time for the UNRWA to be dissolved completely.

Chief Investigator Names Police and Municipal Clerks as Most ‘Corruption Prone’ Professions in Russia

But also investigated anti-corruption officials for corruption

Corruption is Everywhere - Certainly in Russia

    © Global Look Press

The head of the Russian Investigative Committee has revealed the latest statistics on corruption crime, which show that most cases involve law-enforcement agents, military servicemen, municipal clerks, teachers and doctors.

“Representatives of law-enforcement agencies, officials from municipal bodies and enterprises, people working in the spheres of education and healthcare, and also the military,” said Aleksandr Bastrykin, listing the professions most often involved in cases of corruption.

In an interview with Rossiiskaya Gazeta, the chairman of Russian federal agency that deals with high-profile crimes said that there were currently more than 7,000 people facing corruption charges. Of these, 845 worked for the Interior Ministry, 571 occupied posts in state and municipal bodies, 490 were military servicemen, 227 worked in science and education, and 221 worked in healthcare.

“Another 400 suspects are people to whom we had to apply a special mode of criminal trial. These used to work as prosecutors, judges, investigators, legal attorneys and the like. Some of them are quite senior officials, I don’t think that it makes sense to name them all, as we know their names from mass media,” Bastrykin added.

    Corrupt anti-corruption officials

Russia was hit by several major corruption scandals in 2016. Among them was the arrest of Economy Minister Aleksey Ulyukayev on suspicion of taking a $2-million bribe from the CEO of the state-owned oil giant Rosneft. Also in 2016, investigators detained several top officials from the anti-corruption directorate of the Interior Ministry, following an incident in which they found over $122 million in cash in an apartment linked to one of the officials.

No reference here to the systemic doping scandal that got Russia kicked out of the next Olympic Games. It is both hopeful and alarming that 7,000 people have been charged and that some are even senior officials. But the corruption at the highest levels of Russian society and government is not likely to be cleaned up in my lifetime.

Is this a consequence of 70 years of godless communism, or was there this much corruption before the revolution?

German Courts Penalizing Schools for Following Law Against Hijabs

Muslim teacher awarded €7k compensation for hijab job rejection

© Frank May / Global Look Press

The state of Berlin has been ordered to pay a Muslim teacher €6,900 after she was rejected from a job because her hijab contravened a German law restricting religious symbols in the workplace.

A Berlin labor court awarded the woman two months’ salary in compensation, Zeit Online reports.

German courts have held other similar proceedings this year challenging the workplace neutrality law.

In a separate case, a second woman also rejected over her headscarf is in the process of arguing her case in the Berlin Labor Court.

The two women applied to work at schools in Berlin and were told they wouldn’t be allowed to wear their headscarves at work.

Berlin’s Neutrality Act says state employees, like teachers, nurses and police aren’t allowed to wear religious symbols when at work.

However, in 2015, Germany’s Constitutional Court found blanket bans on state teachers wearing headscarves were unconstitutional.

In its ruling, the court told teachers concerned about freedom of religious expression that "strict and nationwide prohibition of a religious outward statement" is “unreasonable,” except in cases where the headscarf “constitute[s] a sufficiently specific danger of impairing the peace at school or the state’s duty of neutrality,” Spiegel reported.

In February,  a teacher was also awarded €8,680 in an appeal after she was rejected for a job due to her headscarf.

The labor court found the basis for her 2014 job application rejection fell under religious discrimination. Her rejection letter stated she would not be given a job at a general education school because of the Neutrality law.

Switzerland Halts Citizenship Process for Muslim Students' Family

Brothers refused to shake hands of female teachers

    AFP News
Switzerland's population of eight million includes an estimated 350,000 Muslims
Switzerland's population of eight million includes an estimated 350,000 Muslims

Switzerland has suspended the citizenship process for the family of two teenage Muslim brothers after the boys' refusal to shake hands with their female teachers sparked a national debate over religious freedoms.

The brothers, aged 14 and 15, had informed education officials in the northern municipality of Therwil that physical contact with women who are not family members violated their faith.

They were then exempted from a Swiss custom of pupils shaking teachers' hands, with Therwil officials instructing them to avoid contact with male teachers as well to avoid gender discrimination.

Oh, yes, that will take care of it!

But the compromise sparked a heated response from leading Swiss politicians including Justice Minister Simonetta Sommaruga who insisted that "shaking hands is part of (Swiss) culture".

Good for you, Minister Sommaruga, don't back down. Maybe some of the judges in your ministry will get a wake-up call. You're my hero today; God bless you. Hope you will be again tomorrow.

And in a remarkable moment of common sense...

On Tuesday, authorities in the canton of Basel-Country where Therwil is located, said that naturalisation proceedings for the family had been put on hold.

Basel-Country spokesman Adrian Baumgartner, in an email, confirmed a report from the ATS news agency on the suspension.

The report also noted that such suspensions are common in citizenship procedures as authorities often require supplemental information about the families concerned.

Amid the media storm that surrounded the handshake exemption, Basel-Country requested an expert legal opinion, which Therwil pledged to follow.

    Mühlebodenschulhaus in Therwil

The father of the two boys, an imam based in Basel and a Syrian national, moved to Switzerland in 2001 and was granted asylum.

Basel's migration office was seeking more information about the circumstances under which the father's asylum request was approved.

Switzerland's population of eight million includes an estimated 350,000 Muslims.

Previous similar disputes have centred on Muslim parents who demanded that their daughters be exempt from swimming lessons.

Muslim families have however secured victories in court against schools which sought to ban the full face veil.

Yeah, 'cause that is definitely part of Swiss culture. What stops a boy from donning a hijab and entering the girls washroom? Or even a fully grown man?
