The Nice Criminal Court placed a 19-year-old Tunisian in pre-trial detention this Friday for “apology for an act of terrorism,” “death threats,” “insults” to police officers and a magistrate, and “attempted robbery.”

Last Tuesday in Nice, this young undocumented immigrant was caught opening the doors of a Peugeot. Empty-handed, he did not spare the police officers who arrested him.

He allegedly threatened to “slit their throats” when he saw them again, accompanying his threats with an “Allah Akhbar!” and covering the officers with insults.

Brought before the court for immediate appearance, he was placed in detention pending his trial, postponed until September. In the meantime, he will have to undergo a psychiatric assessment.

Of course, he will be found to be insane. All radicalized, even devout, Muslims are insane according to Syrian psychologist Dr Wafa Sultan. But, they are still acts of terrorism. 

IS expert warns: ‘Two to three IS sympathizers per school class'

The conditions that are coming to light in Austria are appalling. For years, the government has neglected the problems that arise in connection with the uncontrolled immigration policy, which is the breeding ground for radical Islamists: Almost no day goes by in Austria without stabbings, rapes, robberies and other violent crimes. The Islamist terrorist attack plans on the Taylor Swift concerts clearly show that there are gaps in our country’s security policy.

The recently prevented terrorist attack now raises the question of the driving forces and ideological motives behind such violent plans. Islamism expert Moussa Al-Hassan Diaw reveals shocking facts in an oe24.TV interview: There are two to three IS ideology sympathizers per school class: “In workshops, we have already looked after 550 people suspected of radicalization. In each school class, there are up to three people who at least sympathize with these ideas. Even native Austrians, even 13-year-old boys and girls,” warns Diaw, adding that radicalization is increasingly taking place among younger people – even those under criminal age.

The vast majority of cases of Islamic terrorism documented on this blog in the past couple weeks have involved teens. 

According to the Islamism researcher, many of these young boys have sworn allegiance to IS. “They want to look strong, to appear frightening. Then they are indoctrinated with enemy images.” When asked who the enemy of these young men is, Diaw explains, “the West, the Americans, the Jews. The IS radicalized people do not believe in democracy and man-made laws. They want a theocracy. For the fanatics, murder is justified.”

In an eXXpress interview, Herbert Scheibner, President of the European Institute for Counter-Terrorism and former defense minister, talks about the current terrorist threat in Austria and Europe. Scheibner makes it clear that the Islamist terrorist threat is by no means new. Experts have been warning about it in Europe for years: “In Austria in particular, people always try to push it aside a little.” Since the terrorist attack in Vienna in 2020 at the latest, “we should know that there is a real threat,” said the former defense minister.

Scheibner warns that “extremists can strike anywhere.” Such attacks and radicalization cannot be ruled out 100 percent, but “the problem has been played down in recent years – including in Austria.” 10-20 percent of Muslims in Austria are also “receptive to radical ideas.” Those who have portrayed a “multicultural society as a great utopia” in recent decades have done very little to ensure that coexistence can actually work.

 

UK: Senior Labour Party politician accuses party of

Senior Labour grandee Dame Margaret Hodge has rightly accused her own party of being “‘too frightened’ to talk about immigration.”

The new UK ruling party instead is on a campaign of intimidation to quash the uprising against Britain’s suicidal immigration policies. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has now warned that rioters have lost respect for police. Her solution to restore public confidence is to flood the streets with even more police, which will only backfire. Disgruntled British citizens who have engaged in the riots can plainly see a two-tier system which favors illegals over hardworking British taxpayers, the very people who pay the wages of traitorous politicians and their police loyalists.

Now that Britain has reached a boiling point, the government and police have turned to desperate means, aligned with fascism.

The most noteworthy point Hodge made beyond the fact that her government is too “frightened” to talk about immigration:

A Labour grandee has accused the party of being ‘too frightened’ to talk about immigration.

Dame Margaret Hodge said politicians must highlight the contribution to society of new arrivals as well as showing that the country’s borders are under control by removing failed asylum seekers.

And she warned MPs must not ignore voter concerns about the issue, following low turnout and protest votes at last month’s general election.

Her comments carry weight in Labour as she defeated far-Right British National Party leader Nick Griffin in her Barking constituency in 2010.

The new Government is so far taking a much softer approach than its Tory predecessor to illegal immigration, rebranding it ‘irregular migration’ and scrapping the Rwanda deportation scheme.

Dame Margaret, who stood down at the election after 30 years as an MP, told The Observer: ‘We’ve always been too frightened to talk about immigration. If you’re a politician, you have a voice. We need to use that voice to develop a new discourse.’

She went on: ‘It’s talking about why people are here, what they contribute, the richness they bring to society.

Sweden Thursday raised its terror threat level to high in the wake of rising tensions over Koran burnings during protests.

Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Sweden Thursday raised its terror threat level from elevated to high, citing a "deteriorating situation" of threatened attacks and a determination that the threat will persist for a long time.

"The threat picture against Sweden has gradually changed and the threat of attacks from actors within violent Islamism has increased during the year," said Swedish Security Police Chief Charlotte von Essen in a statement. "Sweden has gone from being regarded as a legitimate target for terrorist attacks to being regarded as a priority target."

High is the fourth threat level on a five-point scale, marking the first time it had reached that level since 2016.

The Swedish government said the new terror threat level is based on a strategic assessment of terrorist actors' "intention and ability to commit terrorist attacks against Sweden."

It added the terror threat level increase "does not depend on any single event, but must be seen in a strategic and long-term perspective."

"The development of events with threats directed at Sweden over a longer period of time is serious and affects Sweden's security," it said.

However, the adjustment comes amid increased tension surrounding demonstrations including burning or other desecration of the Koran.

Both Sweden and Denmark said in July they were exploring legal options to intervene in protests to deter Koran burnings during protests even as they continue to uphold freedom of expression.

Earlier this summer Iraq expelled the Swedish ambassador amid tensions over Koran burnings during protests. Iraq Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani accused Sweden of "repeated permission for burning the Koran, insulting Islam and burning Iraqi flag."

The EU condemned Koran burnings in July as Swedish Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin asserted that a disinformation campaign was perpetuating "false claims that the Swedish state is behind the desecration of copies of holy scriptures."

The EU immigration reforms, meanwhile, are nothing more than a shifting around of migrants throughout the EU, under the direction of the European Commission. Polish prime minister to hold referendum on EU’s immigration plan

Poland’s rightwing prime minister has said he will go ahead with a referendum on EU migration reforms, in which voters will be asked if they are willing to accept “thousands of illegal immigrants from the Middle East and Africa”.

Mateusz Morawiecki announced in a video published online on Sunday that the referendum would coincide with a parliamentary election on 15 October. Migration and security will be central topics of the election, as Morawiecki’s ruling party, Law and Justice (PiS), seeks to retain power.

PiS’s campaign to lengthen its eight-year rule kicked off last Thursday when the defence minister, Mariusz Błaszczak, announced on public radio that he was placing 10,000 troops “nearer the border with Belarus to frighten the aggressor so that they do not dare to attack us”.

The announcement came after Belarusian military helicopters violated Polish airspace last week and Wagner group mercenaries set up camp in Belarus. Warsaw has interpreted these moves as a direct provocation, citing them as growing evidence of the threat Minsk poses to Poland and the EU.

Morawiecki’s government has long balked at EU plans to distribute migrants among its members evenly, sharing responsibility for people entering the bloc without authorisation. A deal was formally endorsed by EU interior ministers in June, despite some members’ objections, including, notably, Hungary and Poland….

A Pakistani court has sentenced 86 members of a radical Islamist group to 55-year prison terms each for instigating violent protests against the acquittal of a Christian woman who had been accused of insulting Islam.

The decision was announced on Thursday by the court in Rawalpindi, a city near Islamabad. A leader of the radical Tehreek-e-Labbaik party, whose members were among the defendants, said that they would appeal the ruling.

I'm inclined to believe that most Pakistanis are, if not radical, at least at a point where they can be triggered at the drop of a hat into hysteria. This is a courageous move by the judges, I hope, and pray, they will not all be murdered by mad imams who do not want Pakistan to enter the 20th century, let alone the 21st.

The 86 were accused of damaging public property, assault and disrupting public order, as part of their unruly protest against the acquittal of Asia Bibi. The Christian woman was convicted of blasphemy in 2010 and sentenced to death, after allegedly quarreling with Muslim farm workers who refused to drink from the same water container as her due to her religion.

Pakistan’s Supreme Court threw out her conviction in 2018, sparking relief from human rights observers, while enraging conservative elements in the country. Several high-ranking Pakistani officials were assassinated after defending Bibi and calling for her release.

Bibi was kept in protective custody after she was freed in October 2018, in light of numerous death threats and high-price bounties placed on her by radical clerics. She joined the rest of her family in Canada in May 2019.

'Insults' to Islam were Motivation for Afghan Man's Attack on 2 Americans in Amsterdam - Prosecutors

The man who stabbed two American tourists at Amsterdam's busy Central railway station says he was motivated by insults to Islam in the Netherlands and that he chose his victims at random, according to prosecutors.

The 19-year-old Afghan national, identified as Jawed S., said he traveled to Amsterdam from Germany – where he has residency – to carry out the attack, citing what he believes to be repeated insults against Allah, the Koran, and Islam's Prophet Mohammad in the Netherlands, the Public Prosecution Service wrote in a statement. 

The attacker specifically mentioned the name of the anti-Islamist Dutch politician Geert Wilders. However, he declined to mention the Prophet Mohammed cartoon contest that Wilders had planned on holding but recently canceled due to security concerns. Drawing the Prophet Mohammed is considered blasphemous in the Muslim faith.

And devout Muslims don't understand that what happens outside the faith is none of their concern. A Muslim drawing Mohammed should be a serious moral lapse; but a non-Muslim drawing Mohammed should not concern Muslims at all. 

The man also said that he chose his two victims at random at the train station on Friday. He added that he did not know they were American tourists when he picked them. Both victims are still in hospital but are expected to recover.

His point was, obviously, to make a statement. However, by choosing Americans, his statement is one of complete incompetence and stupidity.

The attack took place at Amsterdam's Central railway station on Friday, with police shooting and arresting the attacker after it occurred. Multiple devices belonging to Jawed S. have been seized and are under investigation. A search has also been carried out at the suspect's home in Germany, at the request of Dutch authorities.

Meanwhile, the suspect is still in hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. He will also be "examined psychologically and psychiatrically," the Public Prosecution Service wrote in its statement.

Radical Muslims are all insane, but that should not be an excuse to keep him from being segregated from normal people. In my opinion, all radical Muslims should be locked up until they reach some level of sanity.

Female Arab Journalist Asks, 'What If Christians Were Suicide Bombers?'

Journalist Nadine Al-Budair claims Islam must shed its intolerant image, disavow those who practice terrorism, and apologize to the rest of the world for the death brought by radical jihadists

DOHA, Qatar (Christian Examiner) – A female Arab journalist who lives in Qatar has penned a bold article that asks Muslims in the Middle East how they would respond if Christian suicide bombers struck their public markets, collapsed their tall buildings or tried to force Muslims to convert to Christianity.

Liberal Saudi journalist Nadine Al-Budair writes in Kuwait's Al-Rai newspaper that Arab countries have refused to address the problem of terrorism and have yet to create a climate that matches the liberal, humanitarian climate of the West. She asked Muslims to consider what their world would be like if Christians the world over had responded to Muslims the way terrorists have spread radical Islam.

"Imagine a Western youth coming here and carrying out a suicide mission in one of our public squares in the name of the Cross. Imagine that two skyscrapers had collapsed in some Arab capital, and that an extremist Christian group, donning millennium-old garb, had emerged to take responsibility for the event, while stressing its determination to revive Christian teachings or some Christian rulings, according to its understanding, to live like in the time [of Jesus] and his disciples, and to implement certain edicts of Christian scholars," Al-Budair writes in a translation of the editorial provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

Al-Budair asks her readers to imagine Christian priests calling Muslims infidels over loudspeakers and chanting that God has demanded their deaths. She also writes they should also consider what would happen if Arab countries had provided Westerners with entry visas, benefits, modern healthcare only to have them turn on their hosts to kill them in the name of religion – likely a reference to the San Bernardino attacks carried out in December 2015.

"These images are far from the mind of the Arab or Muslim terrorist because he is certain, or used to be certain, that the West is humanitarian and that the Western citizen would refuse to respond [in this manner] to the barbaric crimes [of the Muslim terrorists]," Al-Budair writes. "Despite the terrorist acts of Al-Qaeda and ISIS, we [Muslims] have been on [Western] soil for years without any fear or worry. Millions of Muslim tourists, immigrants, students, and job seekers [travel to the West] with the doors open [to them], and the streets safe [for them]."

Safe for them, but not so safe for anyone else because of them.

She writes, however, that tolerance for Muslims is fading in the West because Muslims refuse to confront the problem of Islamic extremism. As evidence of this, she points to the presidential campaign of New York billionaire Donald Trump, who in a "scary declaration," she writes, "demanded to bar Muslims from entering the U.S."

Al-Budair wrote that Muslims do not have the right to condemn statements like those made by Trump without addressing the failures of Arab educational systems which teach jihad and hatred of the West in madrassas (Islamic schools) around the world. Al-Budair claims Muslim nations should apologize to the rest of the world.

Much of what she said about education in the Middle East was voiced a year ago by Jordan's Queen Rania in addressing the United Arab Emirages UAE Government Summit in Dubai.

Al-Budair isn't confident, however, that anyone will heed her call for tolerance.

"After all these farces, some Arab analyst comes out touting a pathetic message, and reciting the same words in his friend's ear that he has repeated millions of times: 'Those [Muslims who commit terrorism] do not represent Islam, but only themselves.'

"This is all we [know how to do] – absolve [ourselves] of guilt," she wrote.

Al-Budair, who describes herself, as a feminist, last year encouraged Muslim women to flee their "benighted countries" for the safety, security and opportunity of the West.

Calgary's Roman Catholic bishop has denounced as "totalitarian" and "anti-Catholic" the province's new guidelines for respecting students' gender identity.

"This approach and directive smack of the madness of relativism and the forceful imposition of a particular narrow-minded anti-Catholic ideology," Bishop Fred Henry wrote in a blog post on the website of the Catholic diocese of Calgary.

"Such a totalitarian approach is not in accordance with [Canadian law] and must be rejected," he added, in a post titled "Totalitarianism in Alberta."

The guidelines were released by Education Minister David Eggen on Wednesday in Edmonton.

The document advises school boards to develop policies that let students choose which washroom to use, the name on their report cards and the sports teams they wish to play on.

'Pure secularism'

The bishop writes: "[The guidelines] show no evidence of consultation with or sensitivity to the Catholic community. They breathe pure secularism."

School boards have been given until the end of March to approve their own policies, which must conform with the provincial guidelines.

There are about 2 dozen Catholic schools in Alberta and at least 2 school boards.

The Calgary Board of Education said Wednesday that it didn't expect any problems complying with the province's new guidelines for respecting students' gender identity.

The supervisor of psychological services at the board, Tamara Gordon, said the division's policy is nearly ready. She called the guidelines a "great support to our system," but added they're likely to have a "pretty profound impact" on school boards in general in the province.

The Catholic Church, the bishop said, espouses a "rather simple" teaching that God created beings as male and female and that "men and women should respect and accept their sexual identity."

Henry voiced his disapproval of student-led gay-straight alliances (GSAs) and queer-straight alliances (QSA).

"GSAs and QSAs are highly politicized ideological clubs which seek to cure society of 'homophobia' and 'heterosexism,' and which accept the idea that all forms of consensual sexual expression are legitimate. The view of sexuality that they espouse is not Catholic," he wrote.

Henry said Catholic schools support "inclusive communities" where every person is treated with dignity and respect.

Education minister responds

Eggen said discussions with school boards will continue and there will soon be meetings with Catholic Church leaders as well.

"Certainly I knew this wasn't going to be easy, but important things are never necessarily easy to achieve," Eggen told The Canadian Press Thursday.

"We'll receive different opinions on this, but I always take it back to first principles, which is to protect and to focus on children, especially young vulnerable children in regards to gender identities. Once we do remind ourselves of those things, then it becomes clearer what has to be done," he said.

How is it protecting our children when a confused boy decides he want to be a girl and starts using the girl's washroom? How comfortable are the other girls going to feel? 

The ministry's endorsement of gender self-identification is not only an affront to the Catholic church, it is an affront to God. And it will only sew confusion on children who are at a very vulnerable age.

Transgender church leader weighs in

Pace Anhorn is the director of Young Queer Church, a monthly service in Calgary. He says the bishop's language is over the top.

"It's a little bit shocking that [he] takes it to that degree, that this is a radical sexual movement and that we are setting up these ideological clubs," said Anhorn, who is a transgender man.

Uh, hello? You may be too young, Mr Pace, to remember that homosexuality, transgender people, etc., were not considered normal nor acceptable to society. I remember that. It was the case through much of my life. And it was the case through virtually all of the history of man. Suddenly it's not! What has been for eons is turned up-side-down in the past 20 years. That's radical!

One can bet that the apologists (media, politics, "Islamic Scholars") will agree to assign this an act of a "mentally unstable" man, and you can bet that now, once again the mantra of how supposedly peaceful Islam is will continue. And worse still, the attacks by the left against those who have always warned against Islam, will be angrier and merciless.

For now the German Islam supporters like never before have their backs against the wall.


The Daily Mail today writes:

Police investigating the Germanwings crash said tonight they had made a 'significant discovery' at the home of pilot Andreas Lubitz, who deliberately ploughed the Airbus A320 into the French Alps.

Officers refused to reveal details of the potential breakthrough but said it was not a suicide note.
