Islam - Current Day > Iran - Approaching Capability of Nuclear Bombing of Israel; Israeli Arab calls Palestinian claims a sham

..

One of the greatest questions in the world today is, when will Israel blow Iran's nuclear research stations to Hell? This ballistic missile capability brings that day closer.

Iran test fires new ballistic missile capable of reaching Israel

May 25 (UPI) -- Iran's military on Thursday launched a ballistic missile reportedly capable of traveling more than 1,200 miles, the country's state-run media reported.

The latest variant of the Khorramshahr ballistic missile, named Kheibar, is capable of carrying multiple warheads as far as Israel.

Iran's Defense Minister unveiled the weapon ahead of the missile test, which was broadcast live on TV.

The country also said the 43-foot missile can be readied for launch within 12 minutes and can adjust its trajectory outside the atmosphere, Iran International reported.

The weapon's Kheibar name is a reference to a Jewish castle overrun by Muslim warriors in the early days of Islam, the state-run IRNA news agency reported.

"Our message to Iran's enemies is that we will defend the country and its achievements. Our message to our friends is that we want to help regional stability," Defense Minister Mohammadreza Ashtiani said during the television broadcast.

This is Islamic logic! A 1200-mile capable missile is not a defensive weapon! Their idea of stability requires the annihilation of Israel. Even if Israel was destroyed, there would still be wars in the Middle East because of the various factions in Islam. They have been happening for 1400 years.

The missile test comes two days after Israel's military chief warned of "negative developments" related to Iran's nuclear program.

"Iran has made more progress in uranium enrichment than ever before. We are also closely examining other aspects of the [Iranians'] path to nuclear capability," Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi said during a speech at an Israeli university.

"Without going into details, there are possible negative developments on the horizon that could prompt action. We have abilities and others have abilities. We have the ability to hit Iran. We are not indifferent to what Iran is trying to build around us, and it is difficult for Iran to be indifferent to the line we are taking."

WATCH: ISRAELI ARAB WINS THE CASE FOR ISRAEL IN TWO MINUTES

What is the best pro-Israel argument for the State of Israel? The truth is that the best pro-Israel argument may very well be the fact that every anti-Israel argument is based on nothing but lies, fictitious claims, and an obvious disconnect from basic history. Joseph Haddad, a pro-Israel Arab, is one of the most skilled voices today voicing the facts and debunking all of the claims that are commonly accepted as facts.

More than one thousand years before the term “Palestine” entered the lexicon of the world, the Jewish people, lived, prospered, sinned, were chased out of, and returned to the Land of Israel. There were Jews in Judea, Samaria, the Galilee, and even in areas that are Jordan and Syria today. King David built up the city of Jerusalem and established the Davidic dynasty that would hold for hundreds of years. King Solomon built the First Temple, and enlarged the Kingdom way beyond the borders of the State of Israel of today.

All of this occurred nearly one thousand years before the birth of Christianity, before the term Palestine entered the world, and nearly 1,500 years before the advent of Islam.

But even when the term “Palestine” was born, during and following the Roman conquest of Jerusalem, there was no reference at all to a “Palestinian” people. Moreover, the Land of Israel was filled with Jews and Roman conquerors at the time. Arabs lived in areas that are today Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt. Very few at all lived in what is today referred to as the Land of Israel.

So, basically, hijacking the geographic term of “Palestine” from the 1st century, which had no connection at all to Arabs, and implanting it on Arabs in the latter part of the 20th century, who decided to start claiming their ancient connection to the Land of Israel is one big sham. It is as reasonable as Chinese people who have immigrated to America claiming that Chinatown neighborhoods across America are part of their ancient homelands and claiming their rights to an ancient Chinese homeland in New York City.

In a day and age when rights are claimed by anyone for anything, there are no clear rights and wrongs. But this premise is exactly what is wrong with the world we live in. There are absolutes. Some things are right and some things are wrong. Some facts are true and some are false. The claim of anti-Israel people to an ancient Arab connection to the Land of Israel is one big sham that is part of the salami plan to destroy the State of Israel. Arafat in a kaffiyeh, Abbas in a tie, and other Arab leaders, announce their intentions clearly – in Arabic. That is why they award terrorists and their families with handsome payments from US taxpayer dollars.

But the fact is that the entire concept of an ancient so-called “Palestinian people” – referring to Arabs – was created in the late 60’s, little more than 50 years ago. The least indigenous people in the history of the world are the Arabs in the Land of Israel.

.......What Goes Around Comes Around.......

Gulf leaders back out of Camp David summit in 'snub' to Obama

Last week Russian President Putin held a great parade - and nobody came, well, no-one important.

This week US President Obama is holding a middle east summit of Islamic leaders and the most important leaders are staying away. Israel wasn't invited, of course, because....well you know why. President Obama is getting a taste of how President Putin felt.

Many Gulf heads of state have said they will not attend the summit of US and allied Arab leaders at Camp David later this week.

Their substitution with more junior leaders is being seen as a rebuff to President Obama's negotiations with Iran over its nuclear ambitions.

King Salman of Saudi Arabia announced on Sunday that he would not attend.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Saudi Arabia has not raised concerns about anything on the summit agenda.

The talks in Camp David near Washington were designed to reassure the Arab allies of US support on a number of issues including talks with Iran and instability in several Arab states.

They will now be largely attended by leaders at the ministerial level.

The official reason for the Saudi leader's absence is that the summit coincides with a humanitarian ceasefire in Yemen, where a Saudi-led alliance is battling Shia Houthi rebels.

"I know there had been some speculation that this change in travel plans was an attempt to send a message to the United States," Mr Earnest said.

"If so, that message was not received, because all the feedback that we've received from the Saudis has been positive."

The White House later said that President Obama had spoken by phone to King Salman on Monday and they had discussed preparations for the Camp David summit.

At Saudi Arabia's embassy in Washington, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir told reporters the move was not related to any disagreement.

But diplomatic experts say it is a clear signal of Saudi displeasure with the US president and his negotiations with Iran over its nuclear programme.

"I don't think they have a deep respect, a deep trust for Obama and his promises. There is a fundamental difference between his vision of post-nuclear-deal Iran and their vision," Abdulkhaleq Abdullah, a professor of political science at Emirates University told the Associated Press news agency.

"They think Iran is a destabilising force and will remain so, probably even more, if the sanctions are lifted."

This genuine fear of Iran and its regional ambitions leads to some very interesting dynamics with respect to Israel. Most of the Gulf States leaders are probably very grateful for Israel right now. Israel is the only country, other than the US, with the capability of seriously damaging Iran's nuclear facilities. Since the US has no desire to do so, and has allowed themselves to actually believe that Iran will live up to a negotiated agreement, Israel becomes the last resort. There may even be some clandestine co-operation between Israel and the Gulf states. Strange bedfellows make for interesting dynamics.

President Obama had planned to meet with the Saudi King Salman Wednesday
The BBC's security correspondent, Frank Gardner, said King Salman has never quite forgiven President Obama for cancelling the missile strikes on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad at the 11th hour in September of 2013, when King Salman was defence minister.

Separately, the tiny island kingdom of Bahrain, whose leadership has close ties to the Saudis, said that it would be sending its crown prince, Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa, to the meeting.

A source familiar with the talks told the BBC that the Sultan of Oman and the President of the United Arab Emirates are both known to be very ill, and do not travel for non-medical purposes - and were not expected to attend.
